Potomac Point Winery was the most beautiful venue and we are still getting compliments on how beautiful it was! They offer so many beautiful spaces that you can utilize throughout the day such as the ceremony space, barrel room, reception hall, bridal suite, and patio. The team was extremely helpful with making sure set-up and the ceremony ran smoothly. We could not have asked for a more attentive team! 

We had an absolutely fabulous wedding at Potomac Point Winery on October 12, 2024! From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless and enjoyable thanks to their incredible team. The events team was highly communicative throughout the entire planning process and did a phenomenal job organizing every detail of our big day. We truly felt supported and at ease, knowing everything was being handled with such care and professionalism. The catering team, along with the Chef, went above and beyond to accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions and allergies among our guests. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully prepared for everyone to enjoy safely. The venue itself is stunning, and our guests are still raving about the gorgeous scenery, warm ambiance, and overall experience. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate such a special moment in our lives. Highly recommend Potomac Point Winery to anyone looking for a picturesque, well-run, and truly memorable wedding venue!

Perfect Setting for a Dream Wedding We had our wedding at Potomac Point Winery, and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the picturesque vineyard and the stunning views. Our venue coordinator, Taylor, was very detail oriented in our initial tour while deciding and gave lots of suggestions so we could picture what our day would look like. The PPW team made it so easy to make a decision and process a contract for our date. Taylor was wonderful in email communications and a very organized individual. She went with every change we made along the way, writing down and remembering each item we discussed however small or large. She was with us ever step of the way, from tour, to wine and food tasting, to final walkthrough, rehearsal, and finally she was with us on our big day making sure everything went as we had discussed. The staff was incredibly professional, warm, and welcoming, ensuring every part of the day ran smoothly. They went above and beyond to help with all our needs, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Throughout the planning process, they were knowledgeable with what other couples have done and gave great suggestions to make wedding planning as seamless as possible (e.g. floor layouts, event timeline, popular food/wine options, etc.). Additionally, their preferred vendor list made choosing other vendors so easy to work with. We did research other vendors, but in most cases we went with the preferred option and do not regret it! We loved that we were able to have access from the pergola to the ballroom (Vines to Vows) that day, having so many places to work with given options for inclement weather and if we want to change it up to match our vision. They had the best rainy day plan for us, and thankfully the weather cooperated so we did not need to use that! The food was delicious, and the wine—of course—was perfect. It’s clear that Potomac Point Winery knows how to make your day truly special. Their blog was such a useful tool in planning. Their posts on social media and their blogs about various weddings were very helpful to create a vision, determine what we wanted, and share inspo with vendors. Overall, this venue made our wedding day unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting or a more attentive team. We are BEYOND blessed that we found them. They were amazing and made the planning so easy and simple. The Venue is gorgeous!! Our guests absolutely loved their time there. We so enjoyed having our wedding at Potomac Point Winery!!! We were looking for a place that felt like its own environment, totally. No buildings or streets within view. This was exactly that. We were able to have our ceremony among the vines, our cocktail hour on the outdoor patio, and our reception in the ballroom. There is a bridal suite to get ready in and a wine cellar for the groomsmen to hang out in. They were also so very accommodating to our wanting to do a log cutting ceremony - rain or shine! Then, of course, there was also the grape stomping. Just so many activities throughout the day, with beautiful views, and such responsive and helpful staff. They even catered to our wedding being entirely vegetarian. Cannot rate them highly enough!

Truly, my husband and I couldn't have found a better venue for our wedding day! From the staff, food, and scenery it was truly the perfect day. Taylor and her team are absolutely phenomenal - keeping communication constant and up-to-date.

We got married at Potomac Point a few weeks ago and we had a wonderful wedding! They did an amazing job, from the first meeting right up to our send off after the reception. Taylor was incredibly helpful, organized, and kept us on track the day of. She did a great job translating our vision into exactly what we wanted on our wedding day.

To say that Potomac Point was the reason for our magical day is an understatement. As someone in the Events industry—and wine industry as well — Potomac Point excelled on every level. They took time to listen to all of our needs and helped us through even the most detailed of planning tasks. The moment they really shined was the day of. We had a windy day and several of our plans had to change, but all of the staff (especially Taylor) were able to pivot and make sure everything ran smoothly. From excellent catering and a beautiful venue, this place has it all, and I'd gladly recommend it to any couple!

Our wedding day at Potomac Point Winery on October 28, 2023, was nothing short of perfection. Ppw exceeded our expectations in a way I can barely describe. Taylor and Chelsea truly handled everything. They and the ppw team did all of the decor setup for us after we dropped off the supplies and they went above and beyond, including the pergola. The room looked amazing. We dropped off some spare centerpieces/supplies in case they were needed and they used them to further decorate the room. They made sure everyone knew what was going on at all times and constantly checked up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I cannot overstate how easy they made the process. They were also very responsive to my many questions I sent over prior to the event. The owner Skip was there that morning as well and he was also friendly, helpful and welcoming. The biggest hit at our fall wedding was the mulled wine. It was delicious, warm on a cool day and we got so many compliments about it. There were crab cakes delivered down to where we were taking pictures after the ceremony since we were busy for most of cocktail hour and I wanted to make sure I got to eat some. The short rib, mashed potatoes and truffle creamed spinach were delicious and tasted the same as during our tasting even when prepared in bulk. We got some fall colors albeit just short of peak season and so many guests told us how beautiful both the venue and the drive to the venue was. Ppw really helped us have the perfect day and it was worth every penny

Potomac Point Winery is absolutely a must see on your search for a venue. My husband and I were seeking an LGBTQ+ friendly venue, and I was a bit nervous to start working with vendors in general. One of the first interactions I had was with a wonderful employee behind the main counter who told us she and her soon-to-be wife are getting married at Potomac Point, which immediately put me at ease. Then, I got to meet Chelsea who is amazing. She clearly has a knack for this profession because she can look at a room and appreciate the couple's vision. She seemed to be reading my husband's mind. Taylor is amazing as well. The two of them are an amazing team, and I swear they can teleport. The efficiency with which the entire team at Potomac works is a sight to behold. To note, Potomac has an in-house chef and being a winery provides alcohol packages; the winery also has a beautiful outdoor area for ceremonies. With many of the bigger aspects of the ceremony/reception being "in-house" the day really went off without a hitch. We had a contingency plan for inclement weather and while Andrew and I were able to get married outside (yay!), I have absolutely no doubt that transitioning the ceremony indoors would have been extremely smooth. Andrew and I chose to have a buffet meal, and the food was amazing. Food at weddings is kind of hit or miss sometimes, and I keep going back to how GOOD the food was, and all of the positive feedback I got from friends and family about it. I also want to acknowledge the staff - they were kind, funny, and ON TOP of everything. I wish I knew the names of everyone involved because every single person I interacted with at the winery was just amazing. If any of you read this, please give yourselves a pat on the back! :) The actual winery and scenery is beautiful. The winery is positioned on a hill that you approach via a path that travels between the vineyard. There is a dedicated ceremony area at the base of the hill, looking up toward the winery. There is absolutely room for as small or large a ceremony you want. There is also a wine cellar that is beautiful and smells amazing, and amazing suites above the restaurant for wedding groups to get ready. There are beautiful photos of previous couples (Chelsea's in one of them!) who got married at the winery lining the stairwell up to the suites, which creates a beautiful environment. In short, if you are looking for a ceremony/reception venue in Stafford, VA run, don't walk, to Potomac Point Winery and speak with Chelsea or Taylor!!

The venue was absolutely incredible. The staff was beyond accommodating and they made sure the wedding proceeded without any complications. I highly recommend having your beautiful day here. You will not regret it.

We couldn't have picked a better place for our big day! Taylor, the venue coordinator, and her team are the best. She was incredibly organized, responsive, and kept everything on track leading up to and during the day of the event. The team worked with us to customize our menu, drink selection, set-up, and decor. The venue is stunning and the food and wine are fantastic. All of our guests had a fabulous time and the PPW team kept everything stress-free. We can't wait to come back and visit!

My wife and I had our wedding at PPW and it was fantastic. Taylor Buel, the events coordinator, did a remarkable job meeting all of our needs. She and her team were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process and they gave us a great day. I highly recommend this venue for weddings or any planned event. We did the "vines to vows" package and had the ceremony offsite. The team was very accommodating and we still had access to the bridal suite and all the typical amenities upon our arrival. It rained on the wedding day so our cocktail had to be moved inside from the patio to the barrel room, but the guests loved the scenery. One note is that anything purchased on the day of the wedding outside of what is agreed to in the package will not be included. My bridal party ordered meals between our arrival from the church and the cocktail hour. We received a bill for these as meals for bridal party prior to the reception were not included. This made sense but escaped us on the day of with the festivities. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better venue/coordinator.

We had our wedding in April at PPW and it was everything we hoped for an more! The service was amazing, and even though it rained, they had a great back up plan to make sure our wedding still looked beautiful and ran smoothly. Th Bridal suite is a great perk, and we received excellent service while getting ready. Taylor, our day-of coordinator, worked diligently with our wedding planner all throughout the planning process and was an excellent point of contact. She also helped us decor as they have great contacts for rental services. The food was incredible and our guests were really impressed with the quality! They really make sure that the day-of you are stress free and are able to enjoy your party. I cannot recommend this venue more. Thank you for a special and memorable day. We could not have done it with you!

These people are so professional; they make the process very easy. They are flexible and accommodating. The staff is knowledgeable and efficient. We didn't want for anything. Plus the venue is very romantic - even in early March! We went with some of their preferred vendors and boy was that a great decision . If you're like us and have never thrown a party on this scale before, these are the people to go with. They took care of everything. I highly recommend them.

My wedding was beautiful! The venue really took care of everything! We had to move inside because it was so cold and it was like nothing even changed - thank you PPW!

The moment my husband and I saw Potomac Point Winery, we knew it would make the perfect backdrop for our wedding. However, we didn't know that we would be lucky enough to work with the incredible PPW team. Taylor and the PPW team made us feel welcome, celebrated, and feel heard throughout our entire year-and-a-half planning process. Everything from answering our 100 questions during planning, to making sure everything we needed for our Jewish ceremony and reception was taken care of, to remembering our preferred wine and hors d'oeuvres and having those ready for us right after the ceremony was truly the best. I had SO MANY friends and family members tell us how impressed they were by the PPW staff and of course the gorgeous landscape - some joked they are going to use the same venue for their upcoming weddings. We cannot wait to come back for years to come and drink the delicious Potomac Point Winery wine, eat the incredible food, and marvel at the beautiful scenery where we got to say "I Do".

I love Potomac Point Winery and was thrilled to be able to get married at such a beautiful venue. The landscaping and Mediterranean-style decor helped us capture stunning photos.  I joined the wine club and love visiting the winery and being able to share it with friends and family! Our wedding coordinator Taylor was super helpful beforehand answering questions and following up with vendors. On the wedding day, she checked in throughout the day and during the event to make sure things went smoothly. Also, the wine and food were delicious - guests commented on the yummy salmon and veggies, and the Abinato wine was a crowd favorite.

We had our wedding at Potomac Point last weekend and it was absolutely wonderful. The process was very easy working with the coordinator, Taylor and we loved that they had an in-house catering service. From our first tour, we fell in love. The food was excellent, my husband repeatedly said how good his steak was! Our guests repeatedly came up to us saying how beautiful the venue was. Overall it was a perfect day and Taylor was wonderful to work with. Potomac Point will always be a special place to us, we can’t wait to visit again soon.

We just got married at Potomac Point Winery a few weeks ago and can't even begin to express how phenomenal of a day it was! Everything was well organized and Taylor (the venue coordinator) made our lives so easy. She is so friendly and really knows what she's doing! We were able to enjoy our day at a beautiful venue without worrying about what was next or making sure everything was in place. A few people even mentioned that this was one of the only weddings they've been to where nothing went wrong. I mean the food, the location, the wine, the organization, everything was perfect. They also give you a list of recommended venders and I highly recommend taking their advice on those as well! Also, they do grape stomping and I promise you that if you get married here it's a must do! While my husband and I now live hours away from Potomac Point, we will definitely be ordering their wine to enjoy and even have a bottle stored away to open in a few years on our 5th anniversary. I visited Potomac Point Winery about 6-7 years ago and knew then that is where I wanted to get married. Fast Forward to 2020 when I got engaged, and they were my first stop to book. Everything after that it was smooth sailing. Taylor was amazing and made our day have no issues. It was the best day of my life and a huge part was Potomac Point Winery! Thank you so much

The Potomac Point Winery is the place to host your wedding. I highly recommend this venue. The location is perfect! The staff is extremely professional and attentive to details. The venue coordinator Taylor Buel is one of a kind, super patient and always ready to reach out. My daughter and son-in-law had a magical wedding! Feeling happy and grateful!

My husband and I wanted to get married in Italy; when we realized that it wasn't realistic, I began hunting for something that felt like Tuscany and was overjoyed when I found PPW. The venue is stunning (photos barely do it justice); guests couldnt believe how much it reminded them of Italy. Every single person we interacted with during our 1.5 year planning process (from the event coordinator, Taylor, to the restaurant staff, the chefs, and even the owners!) was a joy to work with, extremely accommodating, and so sweet. We threw a few curveballs their way around guest dietary restrictions and our desire to have very specific cocktails, and the team went out of their way to make our day come true. All in all: beautiful venue, wonderful staff, and great food and wine. We wish we could repeat this day again and again!

Potomac Point Winery was the perfect place for our wedding! Taylor was so easy to work with, very responsive and made wedding planning so much easier! Every time I had a question about the planning process, I would email her and receive an answer so quickly back. During the wedding day, she put together everything so perfectly and really made our vision come to life. Everything about the venue is amazing for a wedding - beautifully set up, plenty of space, and amazing food and wine. We had such a hard time deciding on food and wine during our tasting because everything was so good. We heard so many compliments of our venue from our guests and are so happy we decided to have our wedding here!

Taylor and the entire Potomac Point Winery team did an amazing job with our wedding! They provided excellent service and helped us make sure that everything went smoothly throughout the day. Taylor communicated with us extensively to prepare and coordinated setup with multiple vendors the day of. The plated entrées, wine, and dessert selections were all excellent. The winery and vineyard grounds are beautiful and were amazing for pictures. We really enjoyed having our wedding at Potomac Point Winery and very highly recommend them!

From the ceremony down to the end of the night they helped with the timeline, setup, and delivered on the most amazing meals and appetizers. We recently held our wedding reception here and it was a wonderful experience. From start to finish the staff were so accommodating and helpful. The food was so amazing, we had a hard time deciding after our tasting! That’s to say nothing of how absolutely beautiful the venue is, all of our guests were raving about it. It was a perfect day, you won’t go wrong with this venue!

We can't say enough great things about Potomac Point Winery (PPW). We had to reschedule our wedding in 2020 and the venue was incredibly accommodating. Sydney, the venue's coordinator, is phenomenal. She honestly made our day run so smoothly and handled all of our crises (big and small, plus some I'm sure we didn't even know about!) with competence and kindness. Furthermore, PPW's staff bent over backwards to make our dream wedding a reality. (Plus, our guests raved about the food; order the short ribs - trust us!). If you're looking for an affordable and beautiful wedding venue outside of the DC area, look no further!

I don’t think I can express how amazing and beautiful it was to have our wedding here at Potomac Point Winery! Everyone there made sure our entire day went off without a single issue. They helped set up for our ceremony and reception as well as made sure that we and our guests were well taken care of. Sydney, Destiny and Chelsea were all so amazing as well as our banquet manager! They made sure we always had a drink and that my husband and I were able to enjoy the food throughout our busy day. I recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with an outstanding staff for your special day!

We had our wedding here last week. It couldn't have been a more perfect venue and experience. Over the last 6 or so months, I worked directly with Sydney who answered every email the same day I sent it or the next, provided insight on vendors, local restaurants, and hotels, and gave experience-based advice on how the whole day should go. Her, the entire staff, and Chelsea (who showed us the venue initially) were always friendly, attentive, pleasant, and more than helpful. The vineyard and winery is BEAUTIFUL, with a romantic old-world style feel that is perfect for an intimate wedding or even a larger one (we had about 100 people). The wine is incredible with a unique and varied selection. All in all, working with this venue was the one part of our wedding that went off without a hitch. I have literally no complaints.

Wow! We can’t say enough great things about Potomac Point Winery. Other than the obvious fact that it is a completely gorgeous venue, the staff are absolutely superb, and the food and wine are DELICIOUS! We had visited a few venues by the time we made an appointment for Potomac but right from the get go Sydney, the venue coordinator, was amazing. She made us feel so reassured. Sydney is knowledgeable, patient, professional, and so sweet. A totally gem! For those of you who decide to plan a wedding without a wedding planner, like us, Sydney is a fantastic support in helping get the day organized and to ensure all vendor needs are met. We also want to give a shout out to Jonathan (banquet coordinator) who made sure we were well fed. The wedding goes by so quickly so in the middle of doing activities and talking to everyone we barely touched our food. Jonathan made sure for both our rehearsal dinner and reception that we got extra helpings to take home. This was so appreciated as we were given another chance to enjoy our food. He also made sure all our guests were taken care of and those with special requests (vegan, food allergies, etc). Our wedding was fantastic and people like Sydney, Jonathan, and the rest of the friendly staff made it incredible. We got the wedding of our dreams! Thank you Potomac Point!

We hosted our wedding at Potomac Point Winery a couple weeks ago on October 3rd and it was everything we dreamed it would be. Sydney was the star of the show making sure everything was executed perfectly for us, followed shortly after by Jonathon who had everything covered Food and Beverage wise. They were the dream team and we received so many compliments on the food and also the venue, it looks drop dead gorgeous in photos and IS drop dead gorgeous. The Bridal Suite and Barrel Room are perfect getting ready options and I can't recommend enough being a part of one of their Wine Clubs if you plan to book them! Not only do you get fun little perks on the day of your wedding but you get the pleasure of drinking their wine while planning.

Since wedding planning during COVID is unknown, they were amazing with any questions I had, along with moving the date of the wedding. The whole staff was impeccable on the wedding day. Potomac Point Winery was a phenomenal venue for our wedding, and we would highly recommend them! Catering-wise, our guests raved about the food. As foodies who cook regularly and enjoy trying new restaurants, we wanted to make sure that we served food at our wedding that was equal to or better than the food we cook for ourselves at home. Potomac Point did not disappoint. They were very accommodating of all of our guests' dietary restrictions and allergies, and worked with us to ensure that they tailored the menu to meet our food preferences. Not to mention the fact that our guests were able to enjoy signature cocktails, local craft beers, and Potomac Point's delicious wines throughout our cocktail hour and reception. Having our wedding at Potomac Point Winery was a no brainer for us. Tucked away from the more built up areas of Stafford/Woodbridge/Dumfries, it provided a beautiful setting for our day. The location itself is amazing, from the ceremony site below the vineyards, to the cocktail hour on the patio, to the reception hall that we didn’t even have to add any decorations to because we loved it so much. Since the winery has a kitchen on site, they know what they are doing with food. We had so many compliments about how delicious everything tasted (and of course how great the wine was)! We worked closely with Sydney over the course of a year, and she was amazing with keeping us in the know and on track with everything. I had so many questions that I knew I was spamming her inbox, but she was always communicative, professional, and knowledgeable about what I needed to know. She guided us through tastings and linen rentals and offered advice on everything from flowers to music. More importantly, she assured us through COVID and kept us up to speed on what potential restrictions may be in place. The day of our wedding, she was there the entire time to make sure we were where we needed to be and that we were okay. We didn’t feel like just another couple, we felt like Potomac Point Winery cared about us and making our day the best it could be. I could go on for a while about what a great experience it was and how many people were amazed at how beautiful the winery was. I definitely recommend Sydney and Potomac Point Winery if you are looking for a venue in the Stafford area!

First and foremost Potomac Point is the dreamiest venue we could of booked. From the moment of booking the venue Sydney went above and beyond to make sure all of my questions and needs were met, even on her days off and after hours. My husband and I are from out of state and she was always accommodating to our schedule and met with us when we were in town. The day of the wedding my expectations were more than exceeded if anything happened I had not a clue because she has a way of keeping everyone relaxed and of course on time. She and the staff would easily have us book our wedding there again if we could do it all over again. From start to finish I didn’t worry about a thing Sydney took care of it all and then some. It made my husband and I happy knowing not only was the the wine and beverages all on site but so was the food. One less thing to worry about and of course it was amazing. Our guest still tell us that it was the best food they have had at a wedding. Over all our experience was blown out of the water abd I couldn’t imagine our day any other way or at any other place.
