We no longer service the wedding industry and since The Knot refuses to remover our listings, this is the best that we can do.
Congratulations but run from these on line sights to find vendors go to your local venues and find one that you connect with ask for their preferred vendor listing.
You will get better quality vendors and ones that know the venue and area to give you the best overall service.
Bringing a vendor from 50 or more miles away is NOT the best idea for your Big Day!@

Scott & Jerilyn really helped create the most special day for our wedding! From the beginning of our partnership, Power Blast Events communicated quickly and effectively. They were flexible and understanding and always put our wants and needs first. On the day of the wedding, they were the life of the party and created a great atmosphere for our guests. Their energy and genuineness were incredible! Would 10/10 recommend using Power Blast Events!!!

The easiest way to describe our wedding was perfect. It went smoother than I could have ever imagined and Jerilyn and Scott were one of the major driving factors! Amazing to work with is an understatement. Constantly checking in to see how we were doing, answering any and all of my questions (at all times of the day), delivering our flowers to multiple locations the day of, and even driving us home after our reception, we couldn’t have asked for a better couple to work with all around. If you are needing someone to take full control of the wedding planning or be in charge of the party, they are your people! We HIGHLY recommend!

Highly highly recommend! These guys truly know what they are doing! They make sure they are meet with you to get everything you need and want. Even when we fell behind because of work they made sure they kept us on track. Every detail they ask truly is for a reason. They were perfection before and during the wedding. We were suppose to have a day of coordinator from our venue help us through out the day and when they failed Jerilyn stepped up and made sure everything went according to plan. Without her and Scott’s help that whole day would’ve been very off. Above and beyond the call of duty to make sure my husband and I didn’t panic. They even got us our plates to make sure we ate! And the fact that they were comical made it that much better. Thank you guys!

Make sure you iron out details before the week of the event, as well as make sure they do not double book themselves without telling you till the week of as well as make sure you have it listed in the contract who will complete what service for you. They not only double booked themselves for my wedding, but I had the same person trying to coordinate as well as Dj and it definitely did not go well. Schedule got behind, I also didn’t receive everything that was listed in my contract, no coordinator at rehearsal and they did not play the amount of time they were hired for. Just beware, they are great to talk themselves up, but I guess I got the short end of the stick.

uzzling to us that you claim so many issues, yet they were not brought up during the 12 month planning process, nor the day of the wedding. We are sorry! While we have evaluated the issues that you raise and made any necessary changes, please see the point by point responses below:

If you recall, when meeting at our kitchen table on July 14th,(over a month) you were notified of who would be servicing your wedding. This is also the date that you added the Day of Coordinating to your list of services.
They not only double booked themselves for my wedding, but I had the same person trying to coordinate as well as Dj and it definitely did not go well. There was a day of coordinator/DJ and an assistant/DJ present for your wedding & reception as promised. The wishes that you dictated were carried out and surpassed by performing duties that you claimed would be carried out by others. We do this for the smooth flow and to take as much stress off of the couple and family as possible.
Schedule got behind, The schedule was adhered to, to the best way possible and as you were told by multiple wedding professionals, the schedule is a very fluid piece on the day of the wedding.
I also didn’t receive everything that was listed in my contract, no coordinator at rehearsal Again, the Day of Coordinator piece was added on July 14th and it was made known that we would not be present at the rehearsal as we were already scheduled elsewhere. You said that was not a problem. Also, you indicated that you would not need DJ service for the ceremony as you were having live music and did not need any sound system.

The staging orders that we provided you on August 1st are based upon our questionnaires, along with information provided by other vendors such as the photographer. In this case, the photography ended upon your exit from the reception at 5 PM. At that time the tables were being taken down and decorations being packed. That is when we stopped music and packed/loaded for our exit.
Just beware, they are great to talk themselves up, but I guess I got the short end of the stick. We are sorry that you feel that you got the short end of the stick. We work hard to go over the top at each event. This is an extremely rare occurrence, (1 out of 209 weddings). We wish you well and that you have many years of happiness. We welcome the opportunity to discuss the issues face to face and to see where we can improve.

Where do I even begin...Scott and Jerilyn are *real* people who truly love what they do! I used their DJ and day-of coordinating services for my June wedding, and it was the best decision I could have made. They make southern hospitality into a profession! I never felt like an inconvenience when I had requests or questions during the planning process (and I had plenty!). Aside from covering every imaginable situation and piece of planning, they were willing to help with whatever needed to be set up on the Big Day. Every guest we have spoken to said they had a wonderful time, and they loved the music! We felt very attended-to during the reception--dinner already plated for us, champagne brought to us, and they periodically checked in with us to see if there was anything we needed. THANK YOU Scott and Jerilyn for making our whole day smooth and enjoyable!
