We worked with Pranzi to provide the catering, decor, and tent for our wedding, and could not be happier. Lisa and her team are incredible to work with, super flexible and practical. They were willing to meet and speak to us multiple times throughout the wedding planning process. The Pranzi coordinator we worked with on the day, Melissa, was attentive, professional, and kind. We were lucky enough to have a fantastic sunset during the reception and Melissa worked with the other vendors to shift the timeline and prioritize photos, while still keeping the event seamless. Even our guests were taking the opportunity to walk the lawn and take photos. They were able to make so many wonderful ideas come true, we cannot recommend Pranzi enough. Thank you!!
Pranzi made our wedding day perfect!
We got married in October 2024 in CT. They were timely & responsive, professional and friendly! They helped make our seating chart process so easy and were very accommodating with dietary restrictions and allergies. The food was hot & delicious and served at just the right pace. On the day, they really went above and beyond - everyone was so caring and I couldn't imagine the day going any smoother, all thanks to Pranzi!
We couldn't be happier with the catering service for our wedding! From the first consultation to the last bite of dessert, everything was perfect. The team was incredibly professional, attentive, and passionate about delivering a memorable experience. The food was absolutely delicious — each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the variety and quality of the options available. The catering team went above and beyond to accommodate dietary preferences and special requests, making sure everyone felt included. Pranzi was super helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. We just got married in early October 2024. They were timely in responding to emails, open to multiple planning meetings and even flexible for plans up until the last minute. My husband and I are beyond happy that we choose to use Pranzi for our wedding and would make the choice again.
The food was great first and foremost and we got multiple compliments about it. The team was very accommodating with individual requests and were able to help customize our entree package to include a stir fry noodles as our side for our largely Asian guest list. The day of team was great as they got us a platter of our hors d'oeuvres since we largely missed our cocktail hour taking photos. The dinner service was timely and the desserts were tasty as well.

Pranzi has it ALL-flowers, catering, professionalism, And flexibility! They were very gracious with adjusting to what we were looking for when we were deciding on the packages and the food is spectacular, especially the beef and the dessert. Book them, please :)
We used Pranzi for all of our rentals for our outdoor 200 person wedding in Newport, RI. They provided the tent, dance floor, tables, chairs, linens, and all of the service wear. We worked with two different people at Pranzi and they were both incredibly responsive and professional. They even worked directly with our caterer to make sure that we had everything we needed in order for our day to go perfectly. The subtle touches of color in the napkins and water goblets pulled together our seaglass oceanside vision. We would highly recommend working with Pranzi for any rental needs.
Pranzi was AWESOME leading up our son's wedding...and the night itself was beyond wonderful, in large part thanks to Pranzi's excellence. Amazing staff...patient, calm under pressure, a "do whatever it takes" attitude from the owner to the staff working our event.
The team really, really cares. We didn't feel like we were doing business with a corporate entity -- rather, a team of people who genuinely wanted to deliver an unforgettable night for us. Pranzi was GREAT and I recommend them without reservation. Bravo!
We hired Pranzi for our wedding at Kinney Bungalow. We wanted it to be entirely vegan and Pranzi was the only caterer on the approved list that said they could do it.
They went through 4 different staff members since asked for a quote. They also repeatedly sent us contracts with errors that we had to cross out (venue, start/end time, etc.) but given the lack of other options, we still went with them.
Unfortunately, that was only the beginning of poor communication and inconsistency.
The changing contacts were never acknowledged and they took over the previous one's emails, so it was impossible to tell who we were speaking to. They didn't pass on information (family recipes previously requested) for our tasting.
Since the chefs didn't get our recipes, they experimented with totally inedible results. They also didn't include one of the four mains and messed up the cake flavor.
Given their mishaps, we did a second tasting. However, they asked us to reschedule 6 days out because they overbooked their chefs, when they knew we were flying from CA. They did honor the original date after we explained there was no other option, but they also had the incredibly condescending owner meet with us.
Lisa talked down about other couples, added more fees out of nowhere, and heavily implied that they were "losing money on us" because their miscommunications meant Pranzi had to give us $300 in comp-ed tastings and an extra entree option. We also held them to setting up 3 decor bins promised via email when Lisa tried to backtrack that.
That said, the food was better: they took our notes/recipes and provided the right cake flavors. But, they didn't remake the pies, gave us roasted veggie stack instead of ratatouille, and the ravioli was entirely different from the 1st tasting (but better).
As for the wedding food, it unfortunately was also inconsistent.
The salad was so lightly "dressed" I and three others had to ask a server if it was correct (2nd tasting nailed it). They must've forgot the Caesar and splashed a bit of oil on instead.
They didn't use our 2nd tasting notes and served sliders on dinner rolls (we asked for burger buns) and changed our shallot tart recipe into a flatbread.
The pies (that we got in addition to an outside bakery to circumvent Lisa's fees) were awful. They must've been premade and frozen. They were the only things left on the dessert table and we threw them out, so it was ultimately a waste despite being the standout from our 1st tasting.
Pros:
The event staff were so nice/helpful. Every single one did a great job, especially the bar.
Arolin was great. She went above/beyond helping us set-up and made sure we always had food/drinks. If Arolin hadn't been our coordinator and final contact leading up to our wedding, I don't think Pranzi would've pulled it off.
Everyone was able to eat including Celiac, nut, and soy allergies.
They modified a main ~3 weeks out to add pasta marinara. They even had it in its own dish instead of a half portion with the ratatouille.
We loved the upgraded linens/goblets. They asked for our menus to match the buffet signs. It looked really intentional.
We were able to buy our own alcohol.
Overall, we went with Pranzi because we had to. They did end up providing edible food and the staff day-of was awesome. Dealing with their admin staff, the owner, and the inconsistent food/communication was a massive headache that caused many tears over the 17 months we worked with them.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for making our wedding a dream come true. It was absolutely flawless and magical. Everything was where it was supposed to be, everything happened as it was supposed to. No one felt as if their allergy or dietary restriction was a burden.
Arolin was our coordinator. She gave us the extra attention all night to make sure we were having the best time and didn’t miss a beat. We are so grateful for her wisdom and guidance throughout the process and she gave us a night we’ll never forget. It was truly the best day of our lives <3

This review has been a long time coming, but I knew I needed to write it -- we couldn't bear to have someone else deal with the same issues we had. We had to replan our entire wedding in five months because of Pranzi.
We were working with a venue with a short list of approved caterers. We had a modest budget, and Pranzi was the most affordable of our three options. The owner, Lisa, was super friendly off the bat and assured us she could work with our budget. We put together our menu, which we were led to believe was workable with our budget, and had our tasting (which was $75pp and not treated as a deposit toward the final bill, by the way). The food was fine, though overall not mind-blowing, but we were fine with it since they were effectively our only option. The cake was excellent. However, we did have a tense conversation with Lisa at that tasting because we were having some concerns with the quote she had given us not fitting the budget we had given her. She responded with marked hostility to my mom who had been respectful, though direct, with these financial concerns. We put our $1000 deposit down after the tasting, assured that we could work out our budget issues afterward. Mistake! It all went downhill from there. One problem we kept dealing with was that she would tweak the menu to "fit our budget" but didn't take into account the 15% service fee that added thousands of dollars to the final bill and wasn't reflected in the quote's bottom line. Lisa ignored my emails for months. I would wait a week and resend to get a one-word response and a quote with prices that didn't shake out the way I had expected them to, with no explanation. When my mom called for me to confront the issue months later (I was massively stressed at this point), she was told, "She was nickel-and-dime-ing me!" as if that made it ok to ignore a paying customer. We were two (very polite) young people just trying to balance their wedding budget and understand their investment of thousands of dollars; that seemed to be unacceptable to her.
We knew we couldn't stay with this company, so we started looking at other options and asked if our venue could accommodate. Due to contract obligations, they could not, so we were forced to look for another place to get married five months before our wedding day, forfeiting our deposit. We ended up at The Squantum Association for our reception (the polar opposite experience with budgeting! Tina is amazing and so straightforward!), using their in-house catering for our food, which worked with our budget with no problem (and tasted better, for the record!). We then tried to negotiate with Pranzi, since we had already paid them a total of $1300, to perhaps repurpose our deposit towards renting chairs. Lisa said no, impossible (even though she's the owner and could have if she'd wanted to). We thought maybe we would use them to cater just our dessert, since we had already booked them for that day. Lisa said, "Fine, whatever will make this go away." We came up with a menu, sent it over, and never heard from her again. We gave up, concerned that even if we did hound her enough to get it sorted out, they wouldn't even show up the day-of.
Since this happened, our neighbor told us they had booked Pranzi for a grad party, and they showed up hours late with cold food. We felt like we dodged a bullet, even though we lost almost $2k in total -- better to lose it than work with a shady company. Unless you have money to burn, stay away.
Had a few issues at the wedding in August. I was told the only person that could address my concerns was the owner. After numerous attempts to contact Lisa, she called on Oct 1 and her I missed her call. Returned her call the next business day on October 3 and have never heard back from her. I even sent a very detailed email and she never called again.
We used Pranzi for both our catering and décor rentals for our May 2022 wedding at Glen Manor House. We had a wonderful experience! We had a lot of moving pieces with our food choices and table scape options, and working with Lisa and her team was great. We really appreciated being able to do everything through one company and everything was set up exactly how we had picture on our wedding day. Fully recommend!
Our daughter and her husband chose Pranzi because they would take care of all their catering needs plus help coordinate the event. The original coordinator was no longer there, so they were given another one. Communication seemed to be a big problem, emails were not getting answered. They met with her prior to the wedding and things seemed to be okay. It was an outside wedding and there were not enough chairs set up for everyone to sit, luckily the bridal party stood otherwise there would have been even less seating. Signs pointing to the wedding sight were never set out. There was a water station but with no cups. Food was very very late and many people had cold food. The coordinator seemed to be overwhelmed.
We used Pranzi Catering for our wedding on 10/2/2022 at Five Bridge Inn, and they did an absolutely outstanding job! All of the food - from the passed apps to the 3-course dinner to desserts - tasted delicious, were HUGE portions, and were beautifully presented. I cannot tell you how many compliments we have received both on the wedding day and in the weeks after from our guests raving that it was the best food that they ever had at a wedding (and this is coming from a LARGE Italian family who LOVES to eat!!). Bar service and beverages were also fantastic. All of the staff were attentive and courteous. Special shout-out to our day-of coordinator, Michaela, who was a ROCK STAR. She made sure that we stayed on time, helped to set up my decor exactly as I had pictured, AND she even somehow magically found my new contact lenses for me when I happy-cried out of them at the ceremony. :) :) Pranzi also provided the specialty china, napkins, and glassware used on our tables. They have such a huge inventory of rentals and decor. Make your life easy and use Pranzi for your next event!
After months and months of wedding planning, conversations, emails and meetings, Lisa, the owner, led us to believe that Pranzi was the best choice over less expensive options because (paraphrasing) ‘she would be able to care for all details and it would be worth it.’ I will say the food her chefs put out that day was delicious however, we paid for a lot more than food in our contract with Pranzi. As a service oriented business owner myself, I know to expect mishaps for an event of this scale, and I know the importance of communication with my customers. I also know that not standing by my contract or not showing a level of respect for my customers through timely communication is never a good business model. All we’re asking is that Lisa/ Pranzi make it right by responding to our emails and providing a refund for services not delivered or inadequately delivered. I will be happy to change this star rating and present a fair objective review of Pranzi that reflects the interactions pre and post wedding once we finally hear back. More details to follow.
Pranzi catered my best friend's wedding and they were such a disappointment! DO NOT recommend! The wedding planner (Nicole) was rude to guests (my parents also attended and as they were serving dinner 2 hours late, she was complaining and rude about where guests were seated). Because the food was delayed (2 hours!!) this caused the rest of the evening's events to be cut short - or we didn't have time for them at all. Pranzi gave us no explanation as to why they were so late. Being rude to guests is unacceptable - especially when you are unapologetic for the way you acted all evening - essentially "ruining" someone's special day.

I should have gone with my gut instinct and kept looking but I was in a rush due to planning our wedding from out of state. This company does not care about you, your wedding, or customer service. It’s just another work day and payment to them. Truly disgusted.
One star because the food was good but other than that this was an awful experience. I have never written a negative review and I have given it four months of thought but I am writing this because I don’t want other couples to share this same major let down of a catering/wedding coordinating experience.
1. Nicole (wedding planner) was very rude to my family, guests, and her staff during our wedding. She acted as if we were inconveniencing her throughout the evening.
2. Food was 2+ hours late with no explanation which pushed back our entire event and left very little time for dancing. The band was a big deal for us and we let it be known that we wanted to have lots of time dancing and having fun with our guests. Unfortunately our band and dancing time was cut in half due to the tardiness on Pranzi’s end.
3. There was an extremely long bar line the entire night because there was only one bar tender even though we paid for two and having two bar tenders was in our contract.
3. Pranzi has not returned one phone call or email after I sent my honest feedback and asked for some explanations as to why the wedding was coordinated so poorly.
4. There weren’t enough seats and table settings for our guests and Nicole was taking guests attendance and crossing them off of a list which was extremely embarrassing.
5. Seriously DO NOT go with this catering company. They talk a big game about how everything will be taken care of but they really really were a huge disappointment! Luckily two of my bridesmaids were in the event planning industry and they actually had to take over!
6. They were supposed to put my wedding sign on an easel and they just tested it on a chair which looked very sloppy.
I could go on and on…
The lead up to my wedding event was good. I met with the owner Lisa, had a tasting, and picked all of the tents and furniture. The problems arose with the actual wedding weekend. Pranzi overbooked for the weekend. The tent was supposed to arrive Thursday night per their communication, it did not arrive until Friday at dusk. We were not able to use it for the rehearsal. Then, they did not bring the lights I paid 900$ for and would have to come back the next day, the day OF the wedding.
The catering staff told my day of coordinator they had never done passed apps service. My coordinator literally had to train them. Then they didn't bring ANY champagne for the compimentary toast, and my coordinator had to go out and purchase it for them. They ran out of ice at cocktail hour and a guest had to go purchase it for them. They served the bride and groom dinner LAST and it was cold. The food was okay, but inconsistent and late because they were shore staffed again. We had specific requests to wrap up the extra plates (that we paid 120$ each for) and they "forgot"
You would assume they wanted to apologize and make it right. I had to chase Lisa down and call for over a week to get her to talk to me for the money that was owed back. They didn't even offer to pay for the champagne and ice purchased by guests. I paid them 15,000 for catering and tent / furniture and after that horrible of service, they only sent me back less than $800 for it ($100 of which I owed to the DOC for champagne) and I had to HOUND the company for it. If they were an honest company, they would have admitted to their ill planning and at least offered 10 or 20% off the total.
Allergen Beware:
We are very disappointed in Lisa and her representation of the Pranzi catering team. I have a severe nut allergy; which was made clear to Pranzi from day one. This allergy was communicated multiple times verbally and written in our contracts.
On our wedding day, just seconds prior to us walking down the aisle, I noticed Pranzi staff putting out heaps of nuts on the charcuterie board for the appetizer portion just feet away from us. I addressed the issue with the staff who somehow wasn't informed of the allergy, who worked to fix the mistake as we were walking down the aisle.
For the rest of the evening, we were both stressed that nuts had already been present and nervous that they could be in other dishes without us knowing. As the evening went on, I barely ate any of the food, nervous about the unknown. Going into cake cutting, my husband was actually hesitant to feed me any of our carrot cake. He had to stop, during what should have been a happy time together, to look for any indications of potential nuts before we were able to enjoy it. We trusted Pranzi and they failed.
We recognize mistakes happen, however, we still felt it was important to reach out to Lisa immediately to address the mistake via email. Her response to our email was essentially "no harm no foul", "We will not be providing any sort of refund... we fixed it before you ate anything and you weren't harmed", completely disregarding the gravity of Pranzi's mistake. Our follow-up emails have gone completely ignored.
Given this experience, we DO NOT recommend Pranzi. Their lack of regard for such a serious issue, along with their non-willingness to rectify the issue with customers afterward is inexcusable.
Once again, Pranzi delivered! The food they provided to our 230-person wedding at Five Bridge Inn was delicious from the appetizers all the way through dessert. We also hired them for our rehearsal dinner, and everyone was raving about the meal! Overall, they are very efficient and know how to make delicious food to enjoy on such a special day! The only reason they did not get five stars was due to a slight contract mistake. These things happen and they were communicative following our day to help remedy the situation, which was much appreciated. Pranzi's food is delicious, and we will look to them again for future catering events!
We hired Pranzi to do our catering as well as our flowers for our wedding in Providence. I am rating 4 starts because we did have some ongoing communication issues that did last until the day of the wedding. Was my wedding beautiful and perfect. Absolutely. The flowers were gorgeous, every single person has raved about the food. Overall I am happy with how everything came together.
We are so glad that we chose Pranzi as our caterer for our wedding. They were very flexible and worked with us to create a great menu, with us providing our own alcohol. Food was delicious and service was good, with a bit of a delay in food service during our reception which was within the range of normal after a stellar cocktail hour. We would happily choose Pranzi again.
Pranzi was an essential and fabulous part of our wedding day! We used them for catering and rentals and, for both, they were fabulous. We got married over a month ago, and I am still hearing from guests about how amazing the food was and how fabulous the staff were. As the bride, I cannot stress how great the staff were in making it easy for me to enjoy the day. They were SO friendly, anticipating everyone's needs, and unbelievably helpful to the wedding party and guests.
It made the day incredibly smooth, which is an added bonus to everyone being well fed and happy.
I hired Pranzi for my wedding. They handled mostly everything- catering, flowers, chairs and the cake. On my wedding day the cake was delicious, chairs were pretty and the flowers and decorations were beautiful. However, there was a major problem with catering. At the tasting we had the steak and salmon. The steak was cooked medium well. The owner and I discussed preparing the food the same way at the wedding. However, on the day of my wedding 6+ plates were returned because the steak was cooked rare. A few people in the wedding party returned their food and still received it rare. One of my bridesmaids didn’t eat at all. A few others said their steak was over cooked . I’m not sure what the issue was with Catering, but this was disappointing and embarrassing and it cost $100.00 a plate . One of the Events Coordinators from Pranzi was there and we discussed the issue. I was told the owner would be informed. I sent 2 emails to the owner and never heads back. I only received a response when I emailed someone on the team. Aside from the issue with Catering everything else was smooth.
Amazing experience having Pranzi cater our wedding!!! They were beyond professional and their service was amazing! The bartenders kept up with the crowd of people, the event manager Erin did a fabulous job at ensuring everything ran smoothly. Donna made sure to have constant communication with us and responded to all emails and phone calls! Lisa was amazing, and helped us feel at ease as she radiated experience! And a huge shout out to Logan!!!!! He ensured that our wedding party had constant access to the hors d'oeuvres and drinks but he especially made sure that my husband and I had everything we needed, water, drinks, warm food, thank you Logan!!!! And thank you pranzi our guests raved about the food all night long!
The only complaint we do have and that I think is important to mention is that the bar ran out of specific kind of liquor that we had requested before cocktail hour even ended (we paid for open bar for the duration of the reception) so that was a bummer. Dinner also took much longer than scheduled for and guest were wondering where their meals were.
Pranzi is the one-stop shop for all of your wedding needs! We originally scheduled a call with Lisa (owner) at Pranzi to simply be our caterer but after our phone call we realized Pranzi could do it all - cater, event planning coordinating, decor, florist, general wedding advice etc.
Event Planning, Coordinator, and Wedding Advice:
Lisa is simply fantastic - her commitment to excellent service / delivery in all segments of the business is impressive. As a CPA by profession, I was definitely more of a control freak / overly detailed Bride and Pranzi never let me down. Her and her team are incredibly organized and responsive. I’d call or send an email and would always get a response right away. Lisa even called me on her personal cell phone a few weeks before my wedding when I was stressed / worried about potential COVID restrictions affecting my big day. Lisa’s reassurance that my wedding would be amazing no matter what the circumstances really put me at ease. And she was right - my wedding was so incredibly perfect and seamless!! I honestly could not believe how smooth everything went and how great all of the Pranzi staff were. From the chefs, bartenders, servers and coordinators - they were all so professional and genuinely seemed happy to be there to help coordinate our special day.
Food:
We went to 6 weddings this year in RI with various different caters and our wedding food (filet, chicken piccata, gnocchi) was hands down the best. Our wedding guests still haven’t stopped raving about it and wish Pranzi had their own restaurant that they could go to!
Decor and Florist:
When planning my wedding Lisa asked me what my vision was and encouraged me to search through Pinterest and then send her some pictures for inspiration and that she and her team could basically make anything I envisioned a reality. I ended up with a vision of a winter wedding with unlit Christmas trees at the alter, winters garland on the table with candles. Because Pranzi handled the decor and flowers, everything matched perfectly - even the accents on my cake! See some pictures below on Pranzi Instagram!

We were happy to use Pranzi as our caterer and rentals service for our tented wedding in October 2021. Our wedding plans changed substantially throughout the planning process due to travel restrictions for many international guests. The Pranzi team handled these changes with grace and professionalism.
We were touched by how Pranzi accomodated some of our special requests (a favorite cocktail from my husband's home country, packing meals for a disabled family member who could not stay through dinner) to make us and our family welcome. Pranzi staff also helped us identify where we could best allocate our budget to emphasize what mattered most to us.
The food was excellent and the decor and rentals were just what we imagined. Overall, we would absolutely recommend Pranzi as a wedding caterer and rental company!

We cannot thank Pranzi enough for what an amazing day our wedding was. We were a bit nervous starting to plan a wedding at a venue that was just a location, and from out of state. From the first very first conversation we had with Lisa and her team, throughout the two years of planning and to the final day we were always assured that every detail and logistics would be handled to perfection. We had the pleasure of working with Kelly Jackson as our day of coordinator and we cannot recommend her enough! She helped coordinate the day of schedule, rentals, personal decor, catering and the florals for our beautiful day. Kelly’s calm and positive demeanor throughout the day made our whole process enjoyable and like she was one of our friends helping us on our big day. We didn’t have to think of or worry about anything the day of and she consistently reassured us that everyone would run smoothly and it absolutely did! Throughout the past year with COVID there were a lot of uncertainties for many couples and companies, but Pranzi was right there to answer any questions we had and reassure us that our wedding would be handled. Kelly, Lisa and the whole Pranzi team exceeded all our expectations and we highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!
Pranzi really shined on our wedding day! Teresa was extremely kind, and everyone in my wedding party commented on how efficient and professional she was preparing for our event. She ensured my husband and I received appetizers during the cocktail hour and were always served first. We ordered the beef tenderloin and the teriyaki salmon, and my guests continue to comment on how good the food was. We were also more than pleased with the wait staff. Beyond working seamlessly, they also helped get some of our older guests on the dance floor! Thank you again for all of your wonderful work!
We used Pranzi tents & events for our rentals and could NOT have been happier!! Marissa was absolutely fantastic to work with and just so lovely and helpful. The rentals were stunning and the setup/breakdown was a breeze. I can't recommend them enough! They have everything! Very competitively priced as well
We used Pranzi for our florals, cake, and decor. It was so convenient to have a one-stop shop for everything!! We worked with Lisa directly and she was very helpful in understanding what we needed to make our vision come to life. The cake was beautiful AND delicious - our guests are still talking about it to this day! The floral arrangements were more than I ever could've imagined. They really knocked everything out of the park. Best in RI!!!
They got the big stuff right, but some details missed the mark. Maybe it's because we planned during COVID or from a different time zone or because there were so many emails and phonecalls going back and forth or because it was the height of the wedding season. Either way, the conversations, emails, and minor changes didn't get captured on the final day. It was beautiful. It was well coordinated. The team was personable. They knew what they were doing. To their credit, they flexed on the day of to try to meet the unmet expectations. I'd definitely recommend them. They did a great job and definitely deserve no less than a "fantastic."
The team over at Pranzi did an excellent job from start to finish for our wedding! From the tastings to the night of the reception, everything was perfect. I worked directly with Donna and Lisa who were always available when I had a question or needed a quick change. The night of our wedding could not have gone smoother, and I am so pleased with the service Pranzi provided!
Pranzi is a one stop shop for couples! I was the day of coordinator, Soirées by Sonya, and Pranzi Catering did the food and everyone loved it and the amazing presentations. They also have rentals and this couple added sheers, bistro lighting, rented farm tables and cross back chairs and a couch and transformed the tent at Five Bridge Inn and it was stunning! Staff was so kind and friendly! Will definitely refer them to couples!
My husband and I cannot thank Pranzi enough for the absolutely amazing wedding! We made a last minute decision to change wedding venues and Pranzi was so accommodating and gave us the wedding that we’ve always wanted! We are so happy that we chose them for our rentals and catering! The food was absolutely incredible from appetizer to dessert and my guests still can’t stop talking about how good the food was! The tent was gorgeous and it didn’t even feel like we were in my backyard! It was truly the best night of our lives and we owe it all to our amazing vendors!
Pranzi made our wedding at the Roger Williams Botanical Center so beautiful! We used their services for flowers, rentals, and catering and got endless complements on everything from our guests. I do not personally have much of an eye for decorating, but Lisa and her staff took the ideas I had and expounded on them to make our ceremony and reception look straight out of a wedding magazine. They did a wonderful job modifying everything to make it safe for COVID as well. Very impressed by Pranzi, I would hire them again without hesitation.
Pranzi was nothing short of AMAZING for our wedding! We had to change our plans due to COVID and decided to have a smaller wedding in my parent's backyard. Having to change our plans just 4 months before our wedding, I wanted to keep it as simple as possible and it's great that Pranzi handled everything for our wedding and made it so easy. We used them for rentals, food/bar, and florals. Being in the industry, I had high expectations and they delivered on everything. I worked with Lisa M on catering and Marissa on our rentals leading up to the day. Donna answered all my questions and helped us square up our final details the week leading up. My husband and I aren't big cake people, so we wanted to do a crepe cake. We tried it at the tasting and he loved it. I don't really like sweets and found the filling to be too sweet for me. I asked about other fillings and Lisa suggested nutella, but my husband doesn't like chocolate. Knowing he would enjoy the leftovers I told Lisa to just stick with the original filling. She made a note to the chef to ask for it not to be so sweet. When we did the cake cutting I was so surprised that they came up with a different filling that we both absolutely LOVED. It was perfect.
On the day-of Lisa N was our coordinator. I can't sing enough praises for her. She was amazing with keeping things on timeline. Everything looked beautiful and was set up so nicely. Every time my drink was empty, Lisa was already delivering me a new one. She even replaced it once when she saw my ice had melted. She kept checking in with me to make sure I was all set and was so sweet.
Our friends and family RAVED about the food and how beautiful the décor was. It was just the perfect day all around and I can't thank the Pranzi team enough for being a part of our day!
Where do I even begin? Due to COVID, we had to make some last minute changes to our wedding and were in need of a catering and rental company. From the beginning, Lisa was incredible to work with. She worked with our vision but also provided clear guidance and suggestions where we needed it. I always felt heard but never overwhelmed while working with her leading up to our wedding.
The day of - wow, just wow! Nicole was AMAZING! All of my family and friends commented on how incredible the food was, the rent looked, and how amazing the staff was. Nicole went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure my husband and I had everything we needed. I will never book another catering company - they are simply the best!
The team at Pranzi was nothing but FABULOUS throughout the entire course of planning our wedding. They were extremely communicative, timely, and organized. They answered every email with reassurance. Lisa and Donna gave me creative inspiration and ideas with every step of planning for my elegant backyard wedding. They have a ton of inventory from linens to decor to platewear! My guests can’t stop raving about the food and drinks, as well as the service. Donna had a new drink waiting for me as soon as I finished one. Pranzi literally made my wedding vision come to life on the day of and I could not have done it without them!!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Pranzi! I knew from the first phone call that they were able to execute our wedding vision. The food was amazing (you have to get the mashed potato bar) and everyone was so impressed! We did a carving station, mashed potato bar, and grilled cheese station and everything was awesome. We went in for multiple tastings and all were great. We wanted a gingerbread cake and I wasn't a fan of the first one they made, I sent them a recipe and they made that for me no problem! They had very clear instructions for me which made it easy for me to check things off my list as we went. Communication was fantastic, which was a big bonus as I was planning from Virginia. We had a somewhat challenging venue, and without Pranzi I don't think everything would have come together as perfectly. The day of went so smoothly, everyone was professional and truly seemed like they were happy to be there. Kelly, our day of coordinator, was AMAZING! My parents are still raving about her! Our guests had such a great time and I really credit it all to Pranzi. Worth every single penny!
Our entire experience with Pranzi was like a dream. We are so grateful to Lisa and her hardworking team for throwing us the best party of our lives — our wedding.
Food was our number one priority and they absolutely delivered! Now, nearly six months later, our guests still rave about it. They couldn’t stop talking about the Del’s lemonade Pranzi served in pretty glasses as people arrived. The appetizers and our signature cocktail were also a big hit. For dinner, the portions were incredible. No one left our wedding hungry, that’s for sure. From the trio salad to the pasta course (what can we say? We're Italian!) to the mouthwatering mains of lamb, risotto, and chicken -- everything was cooked perfectly and hot. We skipped cake so Pranzi also set up a gelato bar for us. Shoutout to the girls scooping gelato - everyone said they were super nice! When we received our wedding pictures, we were honestly disappointed there wasn’t enough photos of the delicious food.
We decided to celebrate the wedding at a private residence and Pranzi took care of every single detail. Through them, we were able to rent beautiful wooden cross back chairs, tables, linens, the whole nine yards. It was an incredible experience to walk into our reception area to see our huge clear top tent, dressed up with twinkle lights and chandeliers. It was magical. We appreciated the Pranzi team coming out to our property multiple times to plan with us and essentially, build a wedding venue entirely from scratch.
Admittedly, we were skeptical that a company could do everything well - catering, rentals, and coordination? Pranzi absolutely aced it. Our wedding day was all outdoors on the hottest day of the year(!) yet the entire staff was smiling and friendly the entire time. We had heard so much advice about hiring a separate wedding coordinator but Lisa ensured us that it was unnecessary. She was right. Our day-of coordinator through Pranzi was an absolute rockstar. She made sure we were fed, happy, and never without a drink! We simply can’t say enough good things about Pranzi.
Pranzi was amazing. From the first day i went in to meet with them until the day we got married. They are a one stop shopping company, which when planning a wedding that’s exactly what you need. My wedding coordinator Donna, was the best from day one to the final minutes of my wedding day. She Stayed by our side the whole night making sure we had drinks and everything else we needed. She was even there to help me in the ladies room Lol. She was honestly amazing in every way. The food was delicious, my guests all raved about it. They made every detail of my wedding beautiful and memorable in every way possible. I would highly suggest/ recommend Pranzi catering and rentals.
We used Pranzi Catering for both our rehearsal dinner and my bridal shower. We worked with Kelly who was extremely professional and understanding throughout the process. The food was delivered hot and on time and all of our guests loved it!
Pranzi has so many good reviews here for a reason! We got so many compliments on our food, and everything ended up wonderfully. We worked with Pranzi for many months, and there were definitely some stressful times due to minor miscommunications, but in the end everything worked out wonderfully. They did a good job handling food allergies and other dietary needs. One of our favorite moments from our wedding was getting back to the venue after pictures and seeing the staff waiting for us with appetizers and drinks - we were starving and the food was amazing and much needed!
Working with Donna for the day of the wedding was absolutely fantastic! She was helpful and attentive the entire time. I provided instructions about decoration set up and my general sentiment was "I trust you to do whatever you need to make it look better." And Donna and her staff truly delivered! They made great use of the space and the decorations provided. We also booked our DJ and uplighting through Pranzi - both of which were wonderful. The food was delicious and our guests loved it! We did family style dinner and would highly recommend it.
Wow wow wow...still amazed by the incredible work and food! We are beyond grateful to everyone at Pranzi for their incredible work from Lisa to Laura to Nicole to the entire staff. They blew us away with the attention to detail and caring about how my new husband and I experienced the day. We actually ate during our wedding due to their coordination!! The only thing I would change was the schedule but that was my own choice and add another heater outside for our venue! We also had their DJ (Mike) who did a fabulous job! Thank you to Pranzi and all their incredible team members for making our wedding day spectacular! Highly recommend!!

They had an incredible menu and helped up prepare a really fantastic meal for our guests. There was also a vast amount of rentals to chose from.
The day of our wedding Jaklyn was there to run things. The food was perfect! It came out amazing! They also took the decorations we had provided them and made the hall look perfect.
Jaklyn was super attentive all night. I cannot say enough nice things about her. She even made sure there was water bottles left at our seats at the end!
All of the staff they had was so nice, kind, and polite.

We rented our linens, a room divider, and lanterns for our ceremony from Pranzi. Their products were beautiful and their team was professional and easy to work with. Jaclyn was so responsive and detail oriented--she stuck with me on my quest to find the perfect blue tablecloths, and boy, did she deliver! They really made the room come to life! Wonderful selection, great staff--recommend completely!
Pranzi did our cake, DJ and uplighting for our wedding. All parts they contributed were perfect and they were the most responsive of our vendors!
Pranzi’s food is delicious, the company has a ton of experience, they have a lot of rentals available in their showroom which is fun, and overall I ware pretty happy throughout the experience, but they were pricey compared to other caterers we met with. We ended up going with them assuming we had better odds of the food and the day going smoothly. Things were gorgeous, but details such as seating arrangements weren’t executed flawlessly. The timeline for dinner was also pretty far off and dinner was slow to come out, which impacted our timing for photos, cake cutting, etc. quite a bit, leaving us with an hour less of dancing than we had planned for. I know things happen, but they reviewed and approved the timeline well in advance, and didn’t hold themselves accountable to sticking to it. So I have really mixed feelings, overall things were good but when it came down to things going smoothly on my wedding day, I was a little let down. Definitely worth considering them, but may or may not be worth the extra cost.

I live in Nebraska but was getting married in Rhode Island. Pranzi made everything super easy and were always in touch. Not only did they decorate the space beautifully but we got non stop compliments on how good the food was! Definitely would recommend to anyone getting married in the Rhode Island area.
We worked with the Pranzi team on several areas of our wedding. First, we had an initial tasting with them. We decided to go with another vendor, as it wasn’t a good fit for us price-wise, the food was only OK compared to the other vendors we tasted, and we didn't get a good feeling from Lisa (gut feeling - not very nice, and doesn't seem like she would give us good customer service). We then used Pranzi for a rental...that was a bit of a mess. We found them to be disorganized, somewhat unresponsive, and not that helpful so our gut feeling was confirmed. Out of all the vendors we worked with (and there were a lot of them!) we would recommend them all -- seriously ALL of them -- EXCEPT Pranzi because of all the unnecessary stress they caused us.
