I could not recommend this venue to another bride enough!! I dealt with Melissa, who is the senior event manager. She is absolutely amazing! She truly takes the time to make sure everything is going correctly, asks thorough questions, ensures that your big day will be fantastic! Melissa always replied to my emails in a timely manner and answered every single question that I had! She does her very BEST to work with your ideas and make them come to life. It was so easy to schedule a tour of the hotel, do your tasting, make bar/alcohol accommodations, and so much more. This was venue made my wedding everything that I wanted it to be and so much more! The hotel staff was also AMAZING! Everyone was so, so kind and made sure that we and our guests were taken care of. I have to give out a shout out to Nikki, who took care of my husband and I plus our head table during the reception. She came around constantly asking if we needed anything at all! She even came out to the dance floor!! Nikki was awesome. She even came up to my husband and I at the end of the night to tell us goodbye and congratulations! I would recommend this venue to any couple wanting to get married!

The staff at this hotel bent over backwards to accommodate the out of town guests who attended our daughter's wedding. Not only was the staff professional, but they clearly cared about providing our guests with a wonderful experience. From the room block, to all the other details, like welcome bags, the staff handled things beautifully.

Our original wedding date was 8/2020 but we postponed to 7/2021 due to COVID. The Abraham Lincoln Hotel allowed for a smooth date transition and was incredibly helpful from the beginning. I think we had a few unusual requests but they were really accommodating. It was a beautiful space. The food was good. Melissa Ritter, our coordinator, was incredibly throughout.

Our fairy tale wedding reception came true here! Amazing staff, people, ambiance, accommodations. Highly recommend! It was an absolute dream ballroom!

We worked with Melissa R. at the Abraham Lincoln hotel in downtown Springfield. My husband wanted the downtown location and we wanted it at a hotel. In Springfield, that's not many options! I will say, though, this was absolutely the best place to have our wedding reception. It was the most recently updated and the ballroom was beautiful. Melissa was so great to work with also. She took care of every little detail, even things I had forgotten about! The menu is very flexible so you can find price options to fit any budget. I would definitely recommend!

We had champagne and a gorgeous suite during our stay on our honeymoon night. Our guests were able to secure a block of rooms for only $99 each! Bargain and beautiful.

I chose this hotel because I thought it would be perfect for out of town guests to be centered downtown Springfield and get a taste for the town. They worked with me to get a group rate and the guests seemed to enjoy it. Many guests chose the Hilton however for their points. I set up Sunday brunch at their restaurant and they did not have my reservation when my relatives arrived, so I was disappointed with that.

Couldn't have been happier with everything at the Hotel. My planner at the Hotel Natalie was great, very accommodating. The staff was friendly and everyone was organized, I felt everything went off very smooth and looked great. Only odd thing was how they do their gift table, they really try hard to protect your gifts but it can be confusing for guests as they use a small room in the pre-reception area that is not open during the reception post cock tail hour. Otherwise everything was great!

We used President Abraham Lincoln Hotel and Conference Center for our Wedding reception and we are so glad we did! They are AMAZING to work with! Anything you to want, they try to accommodate! The food is awesome! We got a lot of compliments on the everything! They made us feel very special. We had a few guests show up that didn't respond and they were quick to add seating and a place setting without any problem to us. I didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding with the staff there. I took anything I wanted set up a few days before the wedding and they did all the set up. The day of the wedding, I just had to enjoy the day! When we arrived, they gave my husband and I a room preview before everyone else saw it. It was very special and something I won't forget! The day was perfect and I have the banquet staff and my wedding coordinator at the hotel to thank for it!!!!
