We are so glad that we hired Pretty Films! We had a nightmare situation, one month away from our wedding we found out the original videographer team we hired (Petit Films) went bankrupt! We came to Pretty Films hoping that they would save the day, and they really did! I spoke with George on the phone who was beyond kind! He assured me of their entire process and allowed me to only pay partially upfront to be sure we didn't have a repeat situation! Maribel was the coordinator through email and she was lovely and answered all of our questions. On the day we had Josh film. He was great, and let our photographers take the lead on the shots. We got our video back less than 1 month after the wedding and even received a complementary social media teaser! I would highly recommend Pretty Films, I'm so happy I have all the raw footage of the day as well to look back on forever!

We really cannot say enough good things about Maribel from Pretty Films! From the moment we sat down for our first meeting I was obsessed. My husband is the kind of guy that will go along with anything I want but even he was really impressed with the video previews Maribel showed us. The price at first seemed steep after meeting with other vendors but once you watch what Maribel offers you can see you are really getting what you pay for. What you get is really high end hollywood movie quality and we couldn't be happier with our end product. Maribel came early to my house and her partner went to my husband's house. They both were able to capture the day so beautifully. I ordered the option to post online that way friends and family could view and I am still getting phone calls and messages about how amazing and beautiful the video was. If you are even questioning hiring Pretty Films for your big day STOP and just book already!! You will not be sorry!!!

WOW! We are so thrilled with our video from Pretty Films. In the beginning we were unsure of how to budget to use this vendor as they were pricier than others, but after speaking to Maribel over the phone, we knew her team would be the best for our day and we do not have a single regret! We never felt we had to stage anything which was important, and they did a great job catching natural moments of not only us, but family and friends enjoying the ceremony and reception. It was fun to have them around and we were sad to say goodbye at the end of the night. They not only edited our main wedding film, but as a bonus they made us a link for our wedding dance (a special Salsa/Bachata routine that we practiced for weeks in advance) and edited that one really nicely as well. I was just expecting a straight shot for the entire thing, but they cut different angles for us and it looks amazing as well! If you are looking for an amazing treasure to have for the rest of your life - look no further. We are so glad that we splurged on this and cut our budget in other parts of our wedding in order to make it work.

My husband was not really big on the idea of having our day filmed, as he wanted to be sure we were in the moment and not getting distracted by cameras. Choosing Pretty Films as our wedding videographer is one of our best decisions. Lei and I were fascinated by many wedding videos they posted on the website, and we were so excited that we wanted to choose them as our videographer. They were able to capture all the best moments we had, and delivered to us a wonderful highlight film that we have already watched a million times! It was the perfect tease of what was to come but let us remain on our wedding high throughout our honeymoon. Just having received our wedding video, my faith in his and his team’s abilities couldn’t have been more correct. They tied together every special moment seamlessly, and not in a dry chronological sequence (getting ready, ceremony, pictures, cocktail hour, speeches etc.). But she didn’t stop by adding just the classical moments, she added special moments or places that she knew would be dear to our hearts. For instance: capturing our last kiss before marriage (with the groom blind folded of course!), zooming in on the address of our first apartment (one spot where we took photos), involving moments with our dog (and removing the part I tripped because our dog was pulling so hard). It didn’t stop there, she added a shot of my law school as it was a few buildings away. I don't even recall mentioning it at our second meeting but she was so thorough and attentive that she remembered. But my absolute favorite part was that she included footage of my mom and I FaceTiming with her sister (my aunt) and her mom (my grandmother), who both live in Greece. Due to my grandmother’s health, they were unable to attend. There was a shot of both of them on my mom’s phone! It meant so much to my family and I that they were included. I would highly recommend Pretty Films as your videographer. I have dreamed of my wedding day since I was a little girl and from their work, I can relive it for decades to come.

Truth be told, we weren't originally going to have a wedding video... At the time we thought that those funds would be more useful in other parts of the budget. As a wedding and event planner in my professional life that fact came as a surprise to everyone I talked to. But after we found out that my grandmothers would not be able to make our destination wedding, the video became a necessity... and thank goodness it did! If I had to do it all again I would have booked Maribel and the Pretty Films team immediately. From the initial consultation, to the in depth interview, they work with you on such a personal level. They really take the time to get to know you, so they are able to roll with the punches on the wedding day. While they captured every aspect of the wedding perfectly, they were never overbearing and never in our face. The film is amazing, I basically cried through the entire thing. We felt that she was just as excited as we were about our wedding day. Maribel and her team were easy to work with and even arrived at the hotel bright and early, coincidentally dressed to match our wedding color theme. She has a great sense of humor, which helped me relax as I was feeling anxious/nervous because we were behind schedule. Maribel helped put me at ease as she showed me beautiful clips that she was taking while I was having my hair & makeup done. The entire bridal party also commented about how fun she was to be around. The entire crew was very professional and focused the entire day. I saw them running around behind-the-scenes and working hard outside on a typical hot August day. They worked so well with all my other vendors and as a team really helping one another out. It can feel pretty awkward to be in front of the camera, but the team works so efficiently and blends so well into the background that everything feels natural. Maribel is creative, energetic, and motivated – she genuinely enjoys capturing wedding videography and getting to know the couples. I truly enjoyed having her and her team as part of our special day. Should you get a videographer? YES! And we highly recommend Maribel and her team at Pretty Films. Several of our newlywed friends prior to and after regretted not hiring a professional videographer. Uncle Al and his Hi-8 hand-held camera from 1993 panning all over the place with personal commentary? NO! Seriously, go with the professionals. Several in-person consultations on our schedule, Maribel and her team really made us comfortable in the videographer planning process and took the time to get to know us. They really took the time and energy in getting to know what we we’re looking for, what we liked, what we didn’t like captured throughout our wedding, what type of shots, scenes, moments, etc. They listened attentively, and understanding and knowing our venue in advance, planned everything out accordingly with equipment, lighting, sound … even a drone! On our wedding day, both patient and professional, as well as extremely awesome around our little niece / flower girl who was a bit fussy with all the videography (terrible-twos), Maribel and her team did a fantastic job in capturing our wedding. They worked extremely well with both sides of the family making everyone comfortable and definitely had no problem working with our other vendors, especially when it came to communication and time commitments. Incredibly smooth process. No shaky footage, awkward pans, or even wind drowning out the microphones, Maribel and her team beautifully captured our wedding in a short, 7-minute, highlight film … to which, to put it simply since we are at a loss for words, we had a friend who didn’t even attend the wedding tear up while watching the film. Maribel even put together an evening of his own time to premiere the video to us and also give us over all the raw footage that was shot during the day. As perfectionist as we can be, we really appreciated the services of Pretty Films and the awesome job they did. The end product exceeded our expectations and now we have something to cherish for the many years ahead. If you’re on the fence about a videographer, adjust your budget and do it.
