Kristen did a fabulous job getting myself and my four bridesmaids ready for my big day. She was very professional and friendly. I also really appreciated the hair and makeup trial, as I had difficulties tying to decide on what styles to choose.

All my bridal party looked absolutely gorgeous on my big day! Everyone's makeup, including my own as the bride, stayed on all night long- even through the sweat and tears. All of the team was extremely professional and easy to work with. They took my suggestions after my trial run and made my hair and makeup just what I wanted for my wedding day. Would recommend these girls again!!!

Kristen was so amazing to work with! She was extremely responsive to all of my questions, and made the experience so fun. She was so dedicated coming to do hair and makeup for mom and sister and myself at 6am for my brunch wedding. We all were super pleased with how we looked and would 100% recommend her to anyone needing glam! Very fairly priced as well. She’s the package deal!

Kristen and her team were amazing. They were great and easy to communicate with and their talent is evident. They made my 84 year old mother, and teen and pre-teen daughters feel comfortable and beautiful! I was so happy with my hair and makeup for my wedding. You will not be disappointed! 10/10!!

Kristen & Erin were so sweet and amazing to work with! Myself along all of my bridesmaids' hair and makeup lasted the whole wedding day. And we started at 9AM! I found her through my sister who also used her for her wedding day in 2019 and has continued to use her services even after the wedding.

Kristen & Shirlee did hair/makeup for my 7/1/23 wedding and were an absolute dream!!!! Not only have they exceptionally honed their craft, they were so much fun. Nice, personable, relatable. They were such a dream to work with. Our wedding was in Brenham, TX and they traveled and were on time and already setup when we arrived. PRO TIP - Feed your hair/makeup team. We make sure we had enough breakfast and lunch in the bridal suite for them as well. They are on their feet for almost 5 hours straight. Kristen & Shirlee - thank you from the bottom of my heart. Kristen is so amazing! She made me feel so comfortable and was so kind. I gave her an idea of what I wanted (glam, downtown wedding) and she knocked it out of the park! She also did a majority of my bridesmaids makeup and she took their inspiration and made all of them look perfect for my big day. Prim and powder is amazing!

So glad I chose Prim & Powder for my wedding! They did such a great job on me, my bridesmaid's, and Mom. They listened to what we wanted and delivered perfectly! They were on time, efficient and so fun to work with! I felt so beautiful for my wedding day!

Erin was amazing to work with from start to finish! Starting with my hair trial, she knocked it out on the first try and easily replicated the exact look on the wedding day. She is calm, confident, and flexible which I loved the most given all of the uncertainty we are challenged with. All of my girls loved Erin's work on their hair and I couldn't recommend her more to do your next big event!

Kristen & Erin were both absolutely amazing! My hair and makeup as well as my mom's, flower girl, maid of honor and sister in law all looked flawless and amazing for my wedding day! I was super impressed by their talent and their responsiveness and professionalism. These ladies were so amazing! Erin and Lalli tended to my hair and makeup like the true pros they are. I am not one to wear much makeup, so i was worried about how it would turn out. I tend to sweat a lot and was worried about my makeup not lasting. And my hair rarely cooperates with me. They asked me questions and really listened to what i wanted. The finished product was amazing! I looked like a completely different person and received so many compliments! My hair stayed in place the whole night and even my sister commented that my makeup still looked perfect. Thank you ladies! You made me look amazing for my celebration!

Erin and Lalli were the artists for my bridals and on the wedding day and they did a phenomenal job! I got so many complements on my hair and makeup both on my bridals and the wedding day. My bridal party looked gorgeous and my mom (the pickiest of all) LOVED her hair and makeup! They were so sweet and easy to work with, definitely recommend Prim & Powder!

No doubt one of the top vendors we hired for our wedding! Prim and Powder successfully completed 8 unique hairstyles and 8 makeup looks for my party (and in record time). They made my girls feel so pampered and confident which made everything super relaxed! It was a perfect day and I owe a lot of that to how smooth sailing the getting ready process was. These girls are great at communicating, were always on time, and flexible with any last minute changes. Would 100% recommend and would hire again!

These girls were so amazing and so accommodating for my wedding! I had a bit of last minute changes with my hair preferences and they were quick and creative! I adored my hair, felt extremely beautiful and got so many compliments. My hair literally did not fall throughout the humidity and dancing. Highly highly recommend them. Plus they’re very fast and open with communication.

We had the bridal party along with a few family members get hair & makeup done with Prim & Powder and had 0 regrets. Kristen was so sweet and accommodating when my grandmother could not make it up the stairs. She packed up and moved everything down to her! She, Megan & Erin moved to multiple locations to make sure everyone got done on time. They were super sweet in the middle of the chaos and everyone looked beautiful. So happy we found them!

Prim & Powder is the best! They were recommended to me by my regular hairstylist and I am so glad she recommended them! Kristin did my hair and makeup, during my trial I really felt like she listened to me and made sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it for the big day! She remembered that my under eye bags bothered me and when she came on my wedding day she brought an under eye cream and concealer to make sure I felt confident. My mom and my sister’s hair and makeup looked amazing as well! Thanks for making me feel and look beautiful!

I loved working with Kristen and Erin. I did a makeup trial with Kristen and was really nervous because I never wear makeup and hate things going near my eyes. She made me feel comfortable and made me look beautiful. She took all of my feedback for the wedding day and gave me a look that stood out yet was very natural. I did not even feel like I was wearing makeup! I did not do a hair trial but I was extremely impressed with how the hairstyle turned out. I gave Erin a picture and she took it and ran with it. We also booked Prim and Powder for our bridal party (6 women and 3 children) and they worked with us on price. They all looked stunning! I would highly recommend Kristen and Erin!

I cannot rave enough about how amazing Kristen and Erin are from Prim & Powder. From the moment I called them, speaking to Kristen, I knew they were the hair and makeup team I wanted for my wedding. I had the pleasure of having them do my bridal trial along with day of. They are highly professional, reasonably priced, and genuinely sweet. What made them stand out was the personable conversation we had and how I knew that they were passionate for what they did. I felt so comfortable with them and knew that they would take care of me. On the day of Erin showed up right on time and told me that unfortunately Kristen was sick and one of their other team members Shirlee would be working with us. Naturally I was a bit nervous, however that didn't last long. Shirlee was equally amazing and did my makeup exactly the way I had wanted it. The two ladies were able to get 5 of us done in exactly the time frame we were allotted. Everyone looked absolutely stunning. I am so happy I booked with Prim & Powder.

These ladies work amazing magic! Kristin and Erin were both very sweet, understanding with my bridal party running a little behind schedule of getting ready, and did such a beautiful job on all the women and girls that got ready with them! My makeup and hair was perfection and they were very accommodating to making changes to my makeup last minute. I highly recommend Prim & Powder for any special hair and makeup occasion! I wish these girls could do my makeup and hair every single day. Kristen was a joy to work with and is so very sweet, fun, and professional. My makeup stayed put and looked great even after 12-hours of South Texas humidity and August heat!! My bridesmaids and I were all so happy with our makeup and couldn't get over how light and airy it felt ALL DAY AND NIGHT! Do yourself a favor and look no further. Prim and Powder is where you NEED to get your hair and makeup done and you will love it.

The ladies from Prim and Powder did a wonderful job on all of my girls hair and make up. My make up stayed on absolutely all night and I received so many compliments. The girls are very detail oriented so sometimes punctuality was difficult but they did an incredible job.

I had my wedding on November 18, 2017. I struggled with getting this review out because Kirsten and Erica did such an amazing job on my Bridal Portraits back in October 2017. When I had my trial, I spoke with Kirsten and Erica about how big their team was, I was really trying to see if they would be the ones coming to do my hair and makeup the day of my wedding, both informed me that they had other hair and makeup artists that worked with them as needed. In my contract, it specifically states that everyone getting makeup services would have personalized airbrush makeup. Kirsten had airbrushed me during my trial and I was amazed at the difference of how my skin looked compared to traditional makeup sponge application. I told Kirsten that I would text her my hotel room number the night before the wedding to let her know where to come the day of, when I did she replied, "Ok thanks!". I thought this was again, another sign that I would have Erica and Kirsten doing my hair and makeup. The day of, the first person to arrive was the hair stylist, I do not remember her name because I had never met her before, and she comes in and says that she is here to do hair. I let her in and she did a fabulous job on all five of us, even going back and fixing my hair when I wasn't 100% happy with it. The makeup artist arrived a little later, again don't know her name, and she get s started on the girl's makeup. I wanted to sit last for makeup because I did not want to sit around and potentially mess up my makeup. Once I sat in the chair to start my makeup, I noticed that she was using liquid makeup with a beauty blender, I remember thinking to myself that I thought that the contract had said all makeup was supposed to be airbrushed, but being that it was two hours before my wedding, I decided not to say anything and have her apply my makeup. After we got to the venue, I noticed that one of my girls had the notorious chin lines from the makeup not being blended correctly, I then realized that she really didn't color match any of us correctly. After the wedding I was removing my makeup and that's when I noticed that my makeup was darker than my skin color. I mentioned it to my husband and he told me that I should complain. It was 11:00pm and I was exhausted and I knew it was too late to write out my complaint email. The next morning I wrote out my email to Kirsten expressing my concerns for the previous day. I never asked for a refund, I simply told her how disappointed I was that I did not know who was coming to my hotel room to do my hair and makeup, especially when I texted her the night before. I did receive an email very quickly from Kirsten apologizing for the experience that I had and that she would gladly refund me my portion of the makeup. I was unsure of how much that was because the Bridal package was $340, and I paid for all of my bridesmaids to have their makeup and hair done. Upon returning from my honeymoon, I checked my Venmo and saw that she had refunded me $85. I loved my hair for my wedding, but my makeup was off, and now having my photo proofs you can see it too. Unfortunately, there is no way to redo this event. If you go with them, specifically ask for Kirsten and Erica to be there, they did do a fabulous job, the makeup artist they sent did not. I gave 3 stars because everyone's makeup did not look good, and I am disappointed that she only refunded me the Bridal portion of makeup and not all makeup.

Prim & Powder did my hair and makeup, as well as my bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. Everyone was thrilled with how they looked, including me and I am very picky about makeup! My hair and makeup definitely lasted all night long, through an outdoor ceremony in late May, and dancing all night long! They were very professional and fun, and definitely went above and beyond when several extra people wanted to get glammed up! Highly recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful hair and makeup for your big day!!

Kristen and Erin of Prim & Powder are absolute rockstars! As an out of town bride, I was nervous about booking hair and makeup in case I needed to trial multiple artists to find something I liked. Based on pictures and their style, I decided to try Prim & Powder first before looking any further. Not only were Kristen and Erin accommodating to my schedule, but they were also so sweet, truly listened to what I wanted, and I fell in love at my trial, making that an easy check off my list! At the wedding, each of my bridesmaids loved their hair/makeup (they all looked SO PRETTY) and my hair/makeup was perfect even though I changed it up a bit the day of from my trial! Kristen and Erin are laid back and know how to make a group of girls comfortable and hair/makeup fun!! I can't thank them enough for being a part of my special day and I would recommend them to any bride on her wedding day!

These ladies are awesome! They all listened to my needs/wants and made me and my bridal party look stunning. Kristen does great makeup. She listens to what you want and what your style is. Erin can recreate any hairstyle and actually makes it look better then the picture! Heather also helped out the day of the wedding. She recreated exactly what my bridesmaids wanted! Overall, these ladies are great! They came out to Boerne for the wedding. I highly recommend them!
