They transitioned from our emotional ceremony music, lively cocktail hour, special dances, and dance party at the end of the night flawlessly. Frank checked in with us throughout the day to make sure everything was as we wanted it. We also got the most upgraded lighting package and loved the results! Our guests had so much fun with glow sticks, the co2 cannon, and the moving lights made it feel like a true party. We had guests tell us it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to, and we attribute a huge part of that to having Prime Time Event Group as our DJ vendor.

Their equipment is top-notch and they do a great job of making it look clean with covers in front, so guests aren't distracted by the appearance of the equipment. They're also great to collaborate with as a fellow vendor, always allowing us to plug in for audio when needed, and providing a clean signal so that the couple's video is as good as it can be. It is surprising just how often we get a signal from a DJ that cuts out, has music playing behind spoken words, or has some sort of echo on the audio! This has never happened with PT. Whether you are a client or a fellow vendor, your experience with PT Event Group will be as good as one can get!

We had a few curveballs to deal with as it not only poured rain on our outdoor wedding, but we also had 3 different locations we needed music. On top of that, we had a last minute change with live performances. To say he took it all in stride would be the understatement of the century. Frank was joyful, communicative, and kind about every single aspect leading up to and during the chaos that can be expected during a rainy wedding. He also really nailed the music and made sure we had exactly what we hoped for, and we had an incredible time dancing with our guests. We cannot recommend Frank and Prime Time Event group enough for your wedding or event.

It is challenging for me, the bride, to trust others as I am very type A, but Frank knew exactly what to do and ask to prep for the wedding. Frank was very flexible in accommodating our vision and his company is one of the best out there in the Charlottesville area where you truly get a great value for what you pay for. We bought The Bash package with the photobooth add on. It was well worth it, but we also liked that there were cheaper options as we were on a budget. Because of the package we got, Prime Time Event Group took care of the sound for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They coordinated seamlessly with our wedding planner and rarely needed our input the day of. They took care of the mics for the officiant and groom, clean-up of the ceremony site, and moving to cocktail hour/reception. They also played music from tons of eras and genres as we had folks in their 90s to folks in their 20s attending and we wanted to cater to all. Frank was also a great MC. Professional but funny and made sure to work with our planner to keep the night moving. There is some pre-work for couples to do in the online system that Prime Time uses. Prime Time will NOT know what you want if you do not fill this out, so definitely work with Prime Time and Frank to get this done if you want a seamless wedding. It's an easy system and asks things you may not have thought about it. You can also link a Spotify playlist or share it directly to Frank which was very helpful as we started making a play list a year before the wedding. The photobooth had a person attendant at all times which helped A LOT for our guests. Although the photobooth did not provide physical prints, we had a great turn out and no prints were left lying around at the end of the night. Up-lights were included in our package, and even though we did not pick the package for them, they did add a great touch to the decor. You can pick literally any color. When we first met with Frank we vibed immediately and are so grateful to him and his team for helping make our wedding perfect. We got great feedback from guests on the music choices and Frank's humor and MCing skills. Thank you Prime Time for being a part of our special day!

he staff present on the day of were so kind and fun to have around, and our guests had a great time!! They really truly made my husband and I feel so special. We also booked their photo booth, and that was such a fun addition to our reception. Any questions we had about lighting were answered, and pictures were even provided so we could see what we were deciding on would look like, which was a HUGE help. I'd recommend Prime Time to anyone and everyone, we truly couldn't have been happier with our decision.

We met with him several times before the big day so he could get the vibe of what we wanted throughout the evening and it was so fun chatting with him, like we were old friends. We were able to specifically pick songs for certain moments and Frank made suggestions that we knew we could trust. He uses a portal that makes it easy for your 'must play' and 'do not play' songs. My husband and I had a lot of 'must play' songs (some were a little strange) and Frank effortlessly curated a playlist for us that made sure the dance floor was full all night. Frank also accommodated us when we asked him the day before for some special requests and he, without hesitation, said it all could be done. We had attendees from ages 8 to 80 and they are all still talking about how great our DJ/dance floor was and how easy the photobooth was to use. My Aunt and Uncle both told me they were planning to leave early after dinner but they ended up staying the entire night because of Frank's playlist and entertainment. Last minute, we added the glow sticks, trust me on this, you will not regret it. The glow sticks were a huge hit! They elevated the dance floor and surprised everyone. Frank made sure that this was the best night of our lives and it truly was. We cannot thank him and his team enough and we are so grateful that he was a part of our special day!

Frank spent the time to learn who we are as a couple and tailored our reception to fit our style and our unique requests. Dancing and having fun was the most important thing to us at our wedding and he nailed it. I highly recommend him.

We were able to add which songs we wanted played during the ceremony/cocktail hour/reception as well as specific events i.e. First Dance on a fillable form and had the option to browse commonly chosen songs for these events. On the day of the wedding, Frank provided pre-ceremony music and assured the officiant and groom had understated lapel mics so that all guests were able to hear the full ceremony and vows even during a windy outdoor ceremony. Reception music matched the energy throughout the night and kept guests on the dance floor until the end of the night. Frank did a great job MC'ing the night and ensuring songs were played at the appropriate times and announcing the different events during the night.

a request for certain songs cut to play at specific lyrics and he absolutely crushed it. When I left the instrumentals up to him because my brain was on overload, he did not disappoint. I needed the DJ at 3 different locations throughout my wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, & reception) and the transition from one place to the next was absolutely seamless with no lag in music at all; this man definitely knows what he's doing! When it came to the dance floor, you couldn't get my guests off it if you wanted to. Bottom line, if you don't hire Frank and his team for your event, you got the wrong DJ!

ith my last minute questions and unexpected changes 2 days before the wedding. We got married at Scottland Farms which does not have any Wi-Fi or cell service and I was a little worried about that but they were able to calm my fears and showed us how to make our playlist and plan out everything for the ceremony and the reception. Everything went smoothly and we all had a great time dancing the night away at our reception. The one of the many highlights of the night was the photo booth. We never expected to have so many people enjoy it as much as they did. There were over 300 pictures that we received of everyone using the props and just having a great time. The photo booth is a must for any event. I definitely give Prime Time Event Group a 10/10 and will recommend them to everyone for their special event. I could not thank Frank and his team enough for helping make our day memorable and so much fun!!

Mary and I both found your coordination calls extremely helpful; as we talked through the event with you, it put us at ease to know we were all on the same page. The night of the wedding, you arrived and immediately began to get squared away and coordinate with other vendors on scene, which really stood out in my mind as someone who knows what needs to happen, and begins working towards that end. Throughout the night you did an outstanding job in keeping things on track and directing the evening from one phase to another. Mary and I very much appreciated that. We were also quite impressed with your ability to adapt on the fly and play songs that "fit". Knowing that you could operate on your own and keep things rolling allowed us to enjoy the night that much more. I know that a thank you email like this is not necessarily required, but when I experience someone who exhibits great professionalism and interpersonal skills while on the job, I think its valuable let you know how much we appreciated your work.
