I had a great experience using Primp for my wedding. Da’stanza did an amazing job on makeup and Monica was fantastic with hair. My bridesmaids and I all got the looks we wanted for hair and makeup. Both stylists were calm and friendly during our services which helped keep a peaceful atmosphere while getting ready!

The team we had was fantastic! They listened to me at my trial and executed my vision perfectly. On the day of our wedding they sent 2 stylists to ensure that all 4 people getting their hair and makeup done would be ready on time. They also looked at the photos from my trials and made sure to keep all of the things I liked. There was a last minute (day before) change to my hair and makeup artists due to sickness, so I was a little worried about how everything would turn out but both artists were great! I switched up my makeup a bit from my trial and liked it so much better for the day of. All of my bridal party were so happy with their hair and makeup.

The ladies at Primp Beauty were absolutely amazing to work with! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless. Communicating with Chrissy, the owner, was easy, and setting up a trial hair and makeup appointment was a breeze. After reading so many positive reviews about Primp Beauty, I can confidently say that they lived up to every bit of the praise. Chrissy and her team truly listened to what I wanted. They took my inspiration images and brought them to life—even better than I had imagined! For my trial, Chrissy paired me with Molly for makeup and Malari for hair, and both of these ladies were incredible. Molly nailed my makeup trial and somehow did an even more amazing job on my wedding day. As for Malari, she was super flexible—even though my hair trial and my wedding day look were different, she absolutely killed both styles! Not only was I thrilled with my hair and makeup, but my bridesmaids and my mother looked stunning as well. My mom, who never wears make-up, felt natural and beautiful after her makeover—she was glowing! The whole team did a fantastic job of making everyone feel special and comfortable. Primp did and INCREDIBLE job on hair and makeup for my wedding, not only for me but for my entire bridal party. Klea was amazing at giving me exactly what I wanted. I will say I did not like my original trial, but as soon as I told the owner she changed the staffing and made sure I felt my absolute best! Destanza and Torrie also killed makeup and hair for my entire bridal party, no one had a bad thing to say. Would recommend 100%!!

Hiring Primp Beauty was the best decision I made when it came to my vendors. These girls are so incredibly professional and experienced. They made me look the most gorgeous I ever have on my wedding day! From the trial, to the spray tans, to the morning of, they were organized and quick with communication.

Malari and Kaylee did hair and makeup for our wedding and everybody loved how it turned out! They were on time, friendly, and kept us on schedule.

Molly , Malari and Julia were my team and I can not say enough good things about them . They were super fun and gave us everything we wanted & none of us felt over done . Some of us got airbrush and some opted for traditional . I like that they gave us the choice and we all felt beautiful . Scheduling a trial was easy but please know that they don’t offer many weekend options unless it’s an off season . All in all , Primp exceeded my expectations and I would definitely reccomend them .

Chrissy and her team went above and beyond to make sure my hair and makeup was perfect . After I initially had my trial with another team member , I decided I wanted to change some things . The day off , my bridal specialist I was originally with was sick and I was so happy that Chrissy showed up . She accommodated me , my sister and my mom . She listened to everything we wanted , understood that we didn’t wear a lot of makeup normally and still made us feel beautiful . Beyond what I expected ! I was so thankful for all of them . They had all of us girls ready from 8 am and done before 12 pm with 3 artists present , for a total of 10 hair and makeup . If you love natural beauty , Chrissy and her team is worth every penny ! I can’t say enough good things about primp. From my spray tan to day of hair and makeup Chrissy and Kay gave me the bridal look of my dreams! They came to us and got myself and 9 other girls ready and everyone was so happy with their look. They were so accommodating and pleasant to work with. Book with them!!

Chrissy and her ladies were fantastic! They showed up at my house (the wedding venue) and ensured that my family and friends (including 4 children with flower crowns) all looked their best for the day. Very professional and gracious, they really helped get the day off to a fantastic start, enabling some girl-bonding to get us all started. Most of us aren't used to lots of hair and makeup and they were great at making suggestions and helping everyone feel beautiful and comfortable. The false lashes were especially a hit! For me, the bride, I really appreciated the chance to book a trial (I was very nervous about hair and makeup) and the artists were so good at listening to what I wanted and making me look and feel my best. Would definitely recommend.

I LOVE PRIMP BEAUTY! We were luck enough to have Da'Stanza as our artist. She made everyone feel SO beautiful! One of my favorite moments was the fact that when I sat in her chair, her first question was checking on how I was feeling. Weddings can make you feel so many things as a bride, and knowing she was there and cared as much as she did made me feel so relaxed! We had endless compliments on how well the makeup was on everyone, and let me tell you the sneak peak photos we have show that Da'Stanza absolutely popped off with our looks!! I would highly recommend her to any bride or anyone looking for a fantastic makeup artist. She just gets it! Thank you all for make me feel like a real life Cinderella! <3

Everything was perfect . Chrissy , Malari and Molly did the glam for me and 10 others . I loved that not only my bridesmaids , but moms and grandmas got to be a part of this . Makeup was beautiful , soft and not overdone . I ended up getting hair extensions (they special ordered them ) to make my Pinterest hair come true and I don’t think I’ll ever go out without them in again . Since they only do trials during the week , they suggested scheduling a dress fitting for after my trial and that was so helpful . Seeing the whole look come together was something I’m so glad I dod , so i could see if I truly loved it . If I had to do it all over again , I would . Highly recommend

Da’Stanza and Allison were FANTASTIC. It was like working with friends, and they did amazing for our hair and makeup. Communication was easy and prompt; they arrived right on time, and finished right on time. Very professional women and great to work with.

Our wedding was November 1, 2020. Because of the pandemic, it was just our parents and siblings there, and I felt weird being overly glam, but still wanted to look like an elevated version of myself. Primp’s team was not only understanding and accommodating when we had to change our original date, but they did an amazing job with my hair and makeup. I’ve never felt so pretty. As someone who doesn’t wear make up on a daily basis, I was afraid I would look clownish, but they really did a great job making it look natural but still fancy enough to be getting married (a lot easier said than done). Taming my hair is no easy task, and the style held really well the entire day. I don’t plan on getting married again, but I’d definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to feel beautiful on their special day!

I have been in 3 weddings as a bridesmaid that used Primp and they were one of the first vendors I called when I was getting married! They are amazing and glam geniuses. Both moms in my bridal party felt so beautiful and confident and I know all of the girls loved getting glammed by you. I will recommend you to everyone I know getting married around Michigan. From hair to makeup to spray tans you helped us all feel our absolute best and I can't thank you enough for that. You were so responsive throughout the whole process and made me feel so taken care of.

Primp did the bridesmaids and mothers hair. We had Allison and absolutely loved how everything turned out! Super nice and easy to work with. Puts your mind at ease. All 7 ladies loved their hair. She was wonderful! Highly recommend!

My girls and I had a good experience with Primp Beauty for my wedding day. They were agile with changes we wanted to our hair and make-up throughout the morning and were enjoyable to be around. It was amazing to have them onsite and be able to roll out of bed and have hair and make-up start for my girls. There are some reviews complaining about not getting the same person for hair and makeup from their trial for their wedding day. They clearly state in their contract that this is not a given. They are all trained professionals and can do whatever you need to be done. Being an adult 101 - fully read any contract before you sign it. Take photos of your trial from all angles and show them to whoever is doing your hair and make-up the day of your wedding IF that person changes. Let them know if you don't want anything in particular done that is standard. I personally hate lipstick and let them know. Ta-da, no one put lipstick on me. They are a great team who will get the job done and you will look beautiful on your wedding day.

As much as I loved my wedding hair for the big day, I unfortunately cannot recommend this place. Everything started out so well when I booked them back in January. As I was going though contracts through every vendor I noticed I was marked down for the trial package (a trial run and hair and makeup for the big day) and just hair and makeup for the big day. So I decided to email them. No response. I even emailed them again asking about it and told them I needed to change the time for everyone's arrival since I had a accurate timeline and got no response. But I decided I could ask someone in person the day of the trial to double check everything. Once it got closer to the event day I emailed the company again to book my hair and makeup trial. It was very very difficult to get ahold of someone at this place- they didn't really get back to me fast with emails and when I called I would always get a voicemail. Things changed when I told my fiancé I was very stressed out no one was getting back to me so he started to call, he would call and someone would pick up the phone answer it and then immediately hang up. It took my fiancé multiple attempts for someone to get back to him. Once he talked to someone I got the owners assistant and she was very fast at booking me my trial and the stress was gone. I even emailed the owner about the possibility of being double charged for my hair and makeup and she brushed it off like it was nothing- so I emailed the assistant and at last, I was being double charged and she fixed it immediately for me. The trial day came around and I was unfortunately double booked and had to wait about 35 minutes for my trial to even begin. But once it did things went pretty good, the girl that worked on me was very nice- but she WAS NOT the same girl that did my hair and makeup for the big day which was fine bc at the end of the wedding day the girls and I were very happy with the outcome. My biggest issue is the day before the wedding I got a email stating hair and makeup would start at 7:30am. The venue didn't even open till 9am and my ceremony was at 5:30pm! I emailed them and was told since they had another wedding that day the assistant just moved my time WITHOUT telling me and they assumed she emailed me. Well unfortunately that wasn't going to work for me since no one was going to be there till 9am. I went into a full blown panic attack as the ladies gave me a hard time with changing the times even though I never approved of the time change. The hair and makeup was great, the ladies for the big day did amazing jobs. But they DID comment on why no one was going to be ready at 7:30am for hair and makeup- well that's because that wasn't the set time any of us had since the venue wouldn't even be open. But I cannot get past the unprofessional owner. I understand wedding season is very busy, but I had made Multiple attempts and even waiting for responses that never came and even had my fiancé call. The biggest thing that really made me not recommend this place was the fact they changed my time without telling me and thought it was going to be okay and was pretty rude when I explained why it wasn't going to work out. Please- save yourself the stress, weddings are so stressful to everyone involved and this company just made everything so much worse in the end.

Had a great experience with Primp, specifically Brittany. I came in to town for a wedding and she did my hair and makeup, she was awesome. Bailey and Christina did hair and makeup for my aunts and they also looked flawless!! Highly recommend!

Working with Primp was a breeze! Chrissy worked with me to coordinate a trial before my wedding along with hair and makeup for me and my girls the day of. I was so impressed that my hair and makeup looked great for the entire day of my wedding. They are great- I will be booking with them again for any events in the future!

Our wedding hair and makeup were done on location by Primp and they were beyond amazing! They were so much fun and had us laughing and enjoying our get-ready time. Their skills are out of this world. We had 7 women get hair/makeup and all of us looked unbelievable. They also were insistent on curling my MOH's uncurl-able hair and it stayed all night and looked SO good.

Our hair and makeup turned out great and overall we were all happy with the services provided. The only thing that wasn't great was that communication was sometimes slow and confusing, which was frustrating at times. However, I think they were short staffed and didn't have someone specially for scheduling and communication, so that is probably what contributed to that. Overall, we are happy with PRIMP's services.

Chrissy and her team were extremely helpful through the entire planning process. They were quick to respond to my initial email and made me relaxed and confident in their abilities through phone calls. We received a timeline with plenty of time to plan for the day and appreciated this clear communication. On the day of our wedding, Chrissy and Da’Stanza arrived on time and actually had us running ahead of schedule for the day. Each of my girls left the hair and makeup chair with huge smiles, raving about how much they loved their hair and makeup. Chrissy arranged to get clip in extensions for me for the day of which were perfect and completed my look. My hair and makeup lasted all day through cold, windy outdoor photos and a joyfully tearful ceremony. I would highly recommend Primp to anyone looking for on location services or going to the beauty bar for local or smaller parties. If you live close to Plymouth, a blowout and spray tan at the beauty bar are also essential. Thank you, Primp for helping to make our day perfect!!

Hands down, BEST styling team in the Metro Detroit area! We were met with huge hiccups on our big day and Chrissy and her team changed plans to accommodate us on very short notice. I was a emotional mess, but the second I stepped into the salon, Chrissy and her team did everything they could to dry my eyes and bring a HUGE smile to my face! Everyone looked GORGEOUS! We aren't normally ladies who glam, so we were all a bit nervous about looking too done up. Our makeup was absolutely PERFECT! Our photography came out amazing just as the Primp team promised it would all because of how perfect the makeup was. My bride squad was over the top impressed by the stylists and we received SO many compliments about how beautiful everyone looked! Although I have fine hair that never holds curls, my hair, as well as my squads held up perfectly the whole night! THANK YOU CHRISSY AND THE PRIMP TEAM! 10 out of 5 stars for sure! XOXO

Primp is the BEST! I'm not only photographed Chrissy and her teams work for years (I'm a wedding photographer), but I've also had her and her team do my and my daughter's hair, as well as referred 50+ brides and friends. Parker made my tween daughter feel so confident with her new do. Parker has also given me numerous blow outs as well as the Brazilian blowout which I'm still so obsessed with. I photograph a lot of brides and Primp is one of the only teams in Metro Detroit who's work stands up to Michigan's crazy weather all day. Extreme heat, rain, snow, crazy wind - these brides always look good all day long, which makes my job so much easier. Do yourself a favor and hire Primp - they're professional, super talented and consistent as a team!

Primp beauty!!!! I knew i wanted to use them after my friend used them for her wedding day. Which is when i met Chrissy and we clicked instantly! I had a vision and they met it! Chrissy was my main beauty babe i was selfish and wanted her for my hair, night before my wedding she had a family emergency and let me know she had to send another team. Which i was fine with i trusted her judgment. Alex did my hair and make up and LITERALLY she’s and angel! I’ve never felt so damn gorgeous and she really brought my hair and make up to life! She took her time on me and my girls and they all looked amazing! I told her volume me up and she knew the the assignment! Forever grateful for that team!

I used Primp for my wedding beauty. While we all looked beautiful, I was SO disappointed in their client service. One week before my wedding I was assigned different stylists from who did my hair and makeup trial. The owner did not acknowledge this when she sent me our schedule. I know COVID has been tough on businesses, so fine, I can live with that (though what is the point of paying extra for a trial if it is not the same people). When I questioned this she did offer to have our hair stylist be the same, but we would have had to move up our timeline an hour which is not an option 6 days out from your wedding. Then I asked to contact my new hair stylist so I could talk to her before the wedding. On my call with her (the day before my wedding) she informs me she can’t be at my wedding until 9:15, even though we are supposed to start at 8. I call the owner, she is unaware of this timing issue, but does fix it by sending another stylist from 8-9:15. Worst of all—on the wedding day the second hair stylist arrives at 9:20 and has MAJOR attitude. She apparently was unaware another stylist was there at 8 and made sure we knew it. Then, my mother, who had done her hair with someone else, asked the stylist to touch up ONE curl that had fallen out and the stylist refused, claiming that she “didn’t know what size curling iron you used so I can’t do it.” It was absolutely ridiculous and clearly she was just mad. If tip wasn’t baked into my contact I would not have tipped this stylist. It was literally the only bad experience I had with a wedding vendor and very disappointing.

Chrissy (the owner) and Bree did our hair and make up for my wedding day. It was way above and beyond my expectations. They arrived early and were ready for us exactly at the time planned (our venue was about 2 hours away from Plymouth, MI). They completely blended into our group and were extremely pleasant to be with all day. They were efficient and had such positive attitudes. They took charge of the group when needed to keep us on schedule, and pivoted when necessary to accommodate my photographer. Above all - every one of my bridesmaids loved their hair and make up. They took our inspo pictures and made them come to life. As the bride, I will say that my hair and make up was even better than my inspo pics - they completely crushed it. I have never felt more beautiful! Thank you so much to Chrissy and her team for all you did to make this crucial piece of my wedding day flawless!

Chrissy and her crew were absolutely wonderful to work with. I was able to book services in the middle of lockdown for my August 21 wedding without any issues at all. I went in several times prior to the wedding for my engagement photo hair/makeup as well as brow tinting and spray tans and everything in the salon was wonderful. The day of the wedding couldn't have been any better. The team was on time and ensured that all my girls looked amazing. They were so fun to have in the room with us and honestly felt like they were just another part of my friend group. My mom's hair and makeup were flawless and lasted all night even though she was worried since she has never had professional services like that before. My makeup also was spot on, exactly what I was hoping for and it lasted through dancing and closing down the bar. I would recommend Primp for your wedding without hesitation and they are also my new go to for brows and spray tans as well!

OMG- you must hire Primp Beauty to do your hair/makeup for your wedding! Ana and Andrea did an incredible job on me, my three bridesmaids, my mother and mother-in-law, and they created unique, yet cohesive looks for each of us. Literally our jaws were on the floor with the results! They were so lovely to work with- they showed up to our hotel on time, with a lot of energy even though it was early in the morning, and had the best playlist ready to go to make our morning of getting ready so fun! Our hair and makeup lasted all day and through a night full of dancing. Don't hesitate to book them!

The Stylist are absolutely amazing! I typically do not wear a lot of makeup often and I could barely tell I was wearing any with the airbrushing technique they use. They did the hair and makeup at the wedding venue free of charge and was very prompt in order to stay on schedule for photos. I received multiple comments on my makeup and hair and will be sure to use them in the future.

Nicole and Ana made my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law feel AMAZING on my wedding day! Specifically Ana went above and beyond to reassure me, take care of me (especially when I was having a panic attack and needed everyone to leave the room while I was getting hair and makeup!), and she truly made me feel the prettiest I have ever felt, which gave me confidence for the rest of the day.

I cannot say enough positive things about Primp Beauty. Chrissy is amazing to work with, she is so positive and fun. When I wasn’t 100% about my look after my trial she immediately offered to change a few things to see if I liked it better. She was patient and made the process go smoothly. I have short, thin hair and knew I wanted extensions for my big day but was nervous to have the beaded rows put in so they created clip ins for me. The day of my trial my hair was too thin for clip-ins so I was pretty bummed. Thankfully these girls know what they are doing! Jen literally took the clips out of my extensions and stayed late to put beaded row extensions in my hair instead. They gave me beautiful mermaid hair and were so helpful and informative about extensions. My hair turned out stunning. I still have the extensions in 6 weeks later and they are still stunning, I have an appointment in a couple weeks to get my extensions moved up, officially hooked. The day of my wedding went smoothly and they finished with my hair and makeup for myself, my mom, and bridesmaids early. They even came to our location which took the stress of traveling out of the equation for my big day! My bridal party looked stunning! Great girls to work with, so thankful I chose Primp Beauty!

Gorgeous, professional hair and makeup! I was beyond impressed with the Primp team and how great they made all my girls look. I had a group that included a Jr. Bridesmaid (age 10) all my bridesmaids (mid-late 20's), MOB,MOG and the grandmother of the groom and everyone's hair and makeup turned out amazing even with the varying ages / needs. I have a darker skin complexion as did several of the girls in my party and they were able to match our makeup tones perfectly and used great complementing colors that made us all glow. The hair/ makeup team came to our hotel room that we were getting ready in which made a hectic day that much easier without having to travel back and forth between a studio. They were finished on time and even had time for some quick touch ups at the very end. This was definitely the most fabulous I have ever felt and I am so happy it was for my wedding day!

Chrissy the owner of Primp is AMAZING! I booked Primp for my wedding coming up this July last year and she has been nothing shy of the best throughout the journey so far! Very responsive to emails, helping me achieve my goal look for the wedding! She did a full set of extensions and nailed my hair and makeup trial. Can I give them an 12 / 10? If so, I'd like to. Chrissy and her team are nothing short of amazing. She was my bridal specialist the day of my wedding, and she did a BOMB job. My hair and makeup were absolutely perfect, I couldn't of looked more glam if I tried. Chrissy is so nice, kind, energetic, and professional. When things were getting overwhelming during the last hour, she so politely asked everyone to take a step back. She made it so I could enjoy the last little bit of getting ready. It really gave me a moment to reflect that our wedding was actually happening. I wouldn't trade that time for the world. She had awesome suggestions on getting things ready for the photographer, her and her team were so clean, polite and respectful. The entire culture and each employee of Primp is also wonderful. Holly quickly became the best when rescheduling and re-planning (thanks COVID), but she helped me through every single step. If I could look like that every single day, I would. It was perfect, from the lashes, to the bronze, to the hair. I can't say enough great things about this company.

Ana did my hair and makeup, plus all my bridesmaid's hair for my wedding day and it turned out amazing. I felt so beautiful & got so many compliments. I was worried about my makeup being over done since I don't typically use that much makeup but it was perfect for me. Holly was very receptive to all my messages and changes that I made during the wedding planning. Love coming here for a week day blow out as well! Definitely recommend!

There are pros and cons to using this company Pros: I absolutely loved the ladies that did my and my girls hair and makeup day of. Ana did mine and Allison did my girls. They did an ABSOLUTELY amazing job everyone loved how they looked and we all good lot of compliments. Ana did my hair/ makeup and she was very receptive to what i wanted and executed beautifully, they both were easy going and fun to talk to! They were also extremely quick and efficient and got us all done in a timely manner. If they started there own company I would hire them ASAP! Cons: the ladies on staff have extremely limited availability for trials. I had a hard time scheduling my trial with my stylist so the owner ended up doing my trial. They do that thing where they have multiple people tell you how amazing you look like you can’t say anything is wrong. When I got home and looked at my hair in the right light I noticed it looked extremely messy and was not at all what I wanted. I tried to reschedule my trial with my stylist, there was no availability and the coordinator offered nothing to help me fix the problem except having the owner redo my trial which I did not want. I gave so many dates I was available and they couldn’t accommodate any. On top of that I was trying to buy the lipstick they used in my trial for at least a month before my wedding and emailed holly, the event coordinator, at least 5 times about what it was. She kept saying she would get back to me and didn’t until a few days before the wedding. I even tried to call to get the info and was extremely frustrated because when you call it’s a robot answering and it is not helpful at all. I ended up consulting someone at ulta and got a completely different lipstick that I liked much better. Overall terrible communication with the event planner, and no trying to accommodate a bride who didn’t like there trial. This caused me a lot of stress before my wedding which is why I am skeptical to recommend them to others

Made my daughter feel absolutely gorgeous for her senior pics- her hair and makeup were beautifully done. Will use again definitely!

I'm so glad I chose Primp Beauty for my bridal makeup! Kay did my trial and my day-of makeup and she made me feel incredibly comfortable throughout the entire process. She listened to my feedback and was willing to make small tweaks until I was 100% satisfied with my look. She also bought new lashes that she thought I would like prior to my day-of appointment and gave me a damp sponge to take to my venue so I could give myself touch-ups if necessary. I was so touched by these kind gestures. I can't wait to work with Primp again for my larger reception next year!

Hands down BEST wedding makeup EVER! Please note I am a licensed cosmetologist myself, so I am beyond picky. Chrissy did my trial for my upcoming wedding and completely knocked it out of the park! The even better added bonus is her spray tans are movie star quality! I cannot wait to wow everyone on my big day!
