It was flawless yet natural, enhancing our features without feeling heavy. It held up beautifully all night through dancing and photos. The hair styling was just as impressive—elegant, secure, and exactly the soft glam look we both wanted. We both received so many compliments, and we truly felt our most beautiful selves on such an important day! ne in 4.5 hours and did an EXCELLENT job! Dastanza did a wonderful job on my bridal makeup and Allison did a great job on my bridal hair. Additionally, everyone who received services was super impressed - one of my bridesmaids was even trying to get Dastanza out to Jackson Hole for her wedding next month. Our wedding day ended up being 88 degrees and the hair & make up for everyone STAYED. A guest had even asked me if there was glue on my face because the makeup did not change all night. The only con was communication and trying to schedule the trial was a bit of a struggle, however as soon I expressed a concern about it, Chrissy and team corrected it (hence the 5 stars still) and we really aligned on how to execute the day. Again the Primp Team did a wonderful job and their artists are super talented!

He was expecting cakey makeup he’s seen in the past at weddings and there was NOTHING cakey about our look. There was no air conditioning at my venue and all of our hair and makeup help up all night long. Our pictures also look amazing. Tiffany had my spray tan on point. Can’t remember who helped Klea with makeup but she was amazing as well. Can not say enough good things. Highly recommend Primp!!!

I’m not a make-up type girlie, so I feel like I look like a stranger when I get my make up done sometimes… we did 2 trials, and then the wedding day… she got better and better every single time! She took her time to understand what my vision was, and trying different methods and Products until we were both happy! She won’t let you walk away with anything less than her level of perfection. She’s no plastic surgeon, so she’s not fixing this mature skin, but she sure did some magic. I appreciate her patience and her talent, I loved every photo from my wedding! Chrissy was also amazing! There may of been a few miscommunications on my wedding planner’s part, but, Chrissy was patient, kind, and even took time out of her dinner at subway with her kids to make sure things were right! She’s responsive and professional and absolutely killed it with the hair too! I had 8 ladies getting hair and make up done, and everyone looked amazing thanks to Chrissy and her team. Would absolutely recommend them not only for their talent and professionalism, but also for their fun, upbeat personalities. We had a whole vibe while getting ready and it just set the tone for the whole day!

I also learned what hairstyles would and wouldn't work, and that I needed to change my hair piece for what I wanted. The team was able to fix anything I was unhappy with promptly. The day of the wedding, my make-up and hair were flawless. The other girls also looked great and loved their looks. The hair stylist even touched up my mom's hair for her last minute, which made my mom (and in turn me) very happy. The girls were fun to work with, prompt, professional, caring, and really knew their stuff. The photos speak for themselves. My hair and makeup lasted the entire day (through the heat, humidity, sweat, and tears). Thank you so much for making me feel so beautiful, all night long!

I did airbrush and it stayed on all night long through all of my tears and sweat. The only reason I took off one star was because sometimes communication was a little challenging and confusing. Sometimes it took me asking multiple times to get the answer I needed, which was a bit frustrating however, Chrissy would end up contacting me directly and we were able to talk through everything and get stuff taken care of.

Molly nailed my makeup trial and somehow did an even more amazing job on my wedding day. As for Malari, she was super flexible—even though my hair trial and my wedding day look were different, she absolutely killed both styles! Not only was I thrilled with my hair and makeup, but my bridesmaids and my mother looked stunning as well. My mom, who never wears make-up, felt natural and beautiful after her makeover—she was glowing! The whole team did a fantastic job of making everyone feel special and comfortable. her first question was checking on how I was feeling. Weddings can make you feel so many things as a bride, and knowing she was there and cared as much as she did made me feel so relaxed! We had endless compliments on how well the makeup was on everyone, and let me tell you the sneak peak photos we have show that Da'Stanza absolutely popped off with our looks!! I ended up getting hair extensions (they special ordered them ) to make my Pinterest hair come true and I don’t think I’ll ever go out without them in again . Since they only do trials during the week , they suggested scheduling a dress fitting for after my trial and that was so helpful . Seeing the whole look come together was something I’m so glad I dod , so i could see if I truly loved it . If I had to do it all over again , I would . Highly recommend

As someone who doesn’t wear make up on a daily basis, I was afraid I would look clownish, but they really did a great job making it look natural but still fancy enough to be getting married (a lot easier said than done). Taming my hair is no easy task, and the style held really well the entire day. I don’t plan on getting married again, but I’d definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to feel beautiful on their special day!

There are some reviews complaining about not getting the same person for hair and makeup from their trial for their wedding day. They clearly state in their contract that this is not a given. They are all trained professionals and can do whatever you need to be done. Being an adult 101 - fully read any contract before you sign it. Take photos of your trial from all angles and show them to whoever is doing your hair and make-up the day of your wedding IF that person changes. Let them know if you don't want anything in particular done that is standard. I personally hate lipstick and let them know. Ta-da, no one put lipstick on me. They are a great team who will get the job done and you will look beautiful on your wedding day.

hough contracts through every vendor I noticed I was marked down for the trial package (a trial run and hair and makeup for the big day) and just hair and makeup for the big day. So I decided to email them. No response. I even emailed them again asking about it and told them I needed to change the time for everyone's arrival since I had a accurate timeline and got no response. But I decided I could ask someone in person the day of the trial to double check everything. Once it got closer to the event day I emailed the company again to book my hair and makeup trial. It was very very difficult to get ahold of someone at this place- they didn't really get back to me fast with emails and when I called I would always get a voicemail. Things changed when I told my fiancé I was very stressed out no one was getting back to me so he started to call, he would call and someone would pick up the phone answer it and then immediately hang up. It took my fiancé multiple attempts for someone to get back to him. Once he talked to someone I got the owners assistant and she was very fast at booking me my trial and the stress was gone. I even emailed the owner about the possibility of being double charged for my hair and makeup and she brushed it off like it was nothing- so I emailed the assistant and at last, I was being double charged and she fixed it immediately for me. The trial day came around and I was unfortunately double booked and had to wait about 35 minutes for my trial to even begin. But once it did things went pretty good, the girl that worked on me was very nice- but she WAS NOT the same girl that did my hair and makeup for the big day which was fine bc at the end of the wedding day the girls and I were very happy with the outcome. My biggest issue is the day before the wedding I got a email stating hair and makeup would start at 7:30am. The venue didn't even open till 9am and my ceremony was at 5:30pm! I emailed them and was told since they had another wedding that day the assistant just moved my time WITHOUT telling me and they assumed she emailed me. Well unfortunately that wasn't going to work for me since no one was going to be there till 9am. I went into a full blown panic attack as the ladies gave me a hard time with changing the times even though I never approved of the time change. The hair and makeup was great, the ladies for the big day did amazing jobs. But they DID comment on why no one was going to be ready at 7:30am for hair and makeup- well that's because that wasn't the set time any of us had since the venue wouldn't even be open. But I cannot get past the unprofessional owner. I understand wedding season is very busy, but I had made Multiple attempts and even waiting for responses that never came and even had my fiancé call. The biggest thing that really made me not recommend this place was the fact they changed my time without telling me and thought it was going to be okay and was pretty rude when I explained why it wasn't going to work out. Please- save yourself the stress, weddings are so stressful to everyone involved and this company just made everything so much worse in the end.

On the day of our wedding, Chrissy and Da’Stanza arrived on time and actually had us running ahead of schedule for the day. Each of my girls left the hair and makeup chair with huge smiles, raving about how much they loved their hair and makeup. Chrissy arranged to get clip in extensions for me for the day of which were perfect and completed my look. My hair and makeup lasted all day through cold, windy outdoor photos and a joyfully tearful ceremony. I would highly recommend Primp to anyone looking for on location services or going to the beauty bar for local or smaller parties. If you live close to Plymouth, a blowout and spray tan at the beauty bar are also essential. Thank you, Primp for helping to make our day perfect!!

I was a emotional mess, but the second I stepped into the salon, Chrissy and her team did everything they could to dry my eyes and bring a HUGE smile to my face! Everyone looked GORGEOUS! We aren't normally ladies who glam, so we were all a bit nervous about looking too done up. Our makeup was absolutely PERFECT! Our photography came out amazing just as the Primp team promised it would all because of how perfect the makeup was. My bride squad was over the top impressed by the stylists and we received SO many compliments about how beautiful everyone looked! Although I have fine hair that never holds curls, my hair, as well as my squads held up perfectly the whole night! THANK YOU CHRISSY AND THE PRIMP TEAM! 10 out of 5 stars for sure! XOXO

well as referred 50+ brides and friends. Parker made my tween daughter feel so confident with her new do. Parker has also given me numerous blow outs as well as the Brazilian blowout which I'm still so obsessed with. I photograph a lot of brides and Primp is one of the only teams in Metro Detroit who's work stands up to Michigan's crazy weather all day. Extreme heat, rain, snow, crazy wind - these brides always look good all day long, which makes my job so much easier. Do yourself a favor and hire Primp - they're professional, super talented and consistent as a team!

rissy was my main beauty babe i was selfish and wanted her for my hair, night before my wedding she had a family emergency and let me know she had to send another team. Which i was fine with i trusted her judgment. Alex did my hair and make up and LITERALLY she’s and angel! I’ve never felt so damn gorgeous and she really brought my hair and make up to life! She took her time on me and my girls and they all looked amazing! I told her volume me up and she knew the the assignment! Forever grateful for that team!

who did my hair and makeup trial. The owner did not acknowledge this when she sent me our schedule. I know COVID has been tough on businesses, so fine, I can live with that (though what is the point of paying extra for a trial if it is not the same people). When I questioned this she did offer to have our hair stylist be the same, but we would have had to move up our timeline an hour which is not an option 6 days out from your wedding. Then I asked to contact my new hair stylist so I could talk to her before the wedding. On my call with her (the day before my wedding) she informs me she can’t be at my wedding until 9:15, even though we are supposed to start at 8. I call the owner, she is unaware of this timing issue, but does fix it by sending another stylist from 8-9:15. Worst of all—on the wedding day the second hair stylist arrives at 9:20 and has MAJOR attitude. She apparently was unaware another stylist was there at 8 and made sure we knew it. Then, my mother, who had done her hair with someone else, asked the stylist to touch up ONE curl that had fallen out and the stylist refused, claiming that she “didn’t know what size curling iron you used so I can’t do it.” It was absolutely ridiculous and clearly she was just mad. If tip wasn’t baked into my contact I would not have tipped this stylist. It was literally the only bad experience I had with a wedding vendor and very disappointing.
