Affordable Wedding DJs & Photo Booth
Pro Sound was wonderful. Our DJ Alex did a great job. The only issue is that speakers did get put in the separated room. I know I mentioned how many speakers were needed, but I didn’t confirm that there would be enough. Half of the guests couldn’t hear the speeches at all, so that was disappointing. But overall, everything was amazing.

Such an affordable DJ service that did a great and professional job. The only complaint is the portal maxes how many songs you can add and that you don't get your DJ until about 2 weeks before the wedding - which as a type A person was stressful. But once we got our DJ (Jimmy) he was great. He let me send him all the songs I wanted and we have already had multiple people ask us who our DJ was to use at their wedding.

r recessional song at just the right time. He seamlessly went from the outdoor ceremony to the indoor reception. The volume was perfect, and he followed our schedule. He even helped hand out our lights sticks! Pro sound in general was easy to work with throughout the process.
We also used Alex with the photobooth, and he was able to print an extra of each photo strip for us to keep. We got the digital photos after, and they look great! He was able to use our LED sign in the backdrop, and he made our guests have more fun with the photobooth.

dding, and all communication about our music and the timeline/flow of the evening was done on an online portal. Which, as a hands-on bride, it definitely made me nervous! However, once we found out that our DJ was going to be Jimmy and he called us? We felt SO much better. He calmed our nerves, knew exactly what questions to ask, and was so professional.
Once we got to the actual event, Jimmy impressed us even more. He was amazingly professional, communicative, and knew exactly how to shape the flow of the evening. He didn't bother us for every detail, but he also knew when to ask our opinion.
He was able to tailor the DJ sound booth lights to match our wedding colors exactly, and he even walked to every table to release them for food, rather than calling them out over the loudspeaker like a cafeteria. He definitely went above and beyond!
Jimmy also did an amazing job of keeping us on time, because I didn't have a watch or my phone on me, he was able to keep our schedule for us, gathering the maid of honor and best man for speeches and letting us know when dancing should start.
As far as the actual music, Jimmy showed his expertise even further! He took our minimal suggestions and created a playlist that accommodated our eclectic tastes as well as music that could appeal to every generation! I heard multiple guests say they were impressed by the quality of the music!

We were supposed to have a different DJ initially but because of the DJ’s personal circumstances it got switched to Jimmy last minute. Aaron even went above and beyond and pulled out his kareoke equipment when we had a guest request to give a special song and he was happy to oblige. It was a great night and we couldn't have done it without Aaron and Pro Sound DJ!
The only thing that could be encouraged to improve is the website and filling out the forms. The process of editing your playlist and event details felt clunky and didn't leave a lot of room for notes or other information that was necessary for the event. However, a quick email to Aaron prior to the event and he was on top of it.

I myself made a mistake in the order of the wedding party entering in the venue and on the fly, Jimmy took the change and ran with it! No pushback, just did it. Throughout the night, the songs were bumping with such a great variety mixed in that the dance floor was always full of people from start to finish! This is also considering that we had an outdoor fire pit where some people went but the dance floor NEVER died! It was a night to remember. due to Covid, John and Pro Sound DJ stuck with us, communicating promptly and kindly every time we had a question or needed to change the date. Their web forms made it easy to tell them our schedule and exactly what we wanted. We were updated via a personal email when the forms were received. We also received a call from our DJ Julius beforehand to get to know us and double check our details.
Finally, 2 years after our initial communication, we had our reception. DJ Julius pumped up our guests to celebrate as though no time had passed between ceremony & reception. We felt newly married all over again :) The setup was great with some lights to decorate the dance floor and an excellent sound system. He did a masterful job keeping the tunes going, playing songs we had requested in our form, working in the family polkas ;-) and requests from our guests. Everyone commented afterward what an amazing and fun party it was, and DJ Julius and Pro Sound DJ was a major factor. I highly recommend them!!!

e was very kind and friendly but he didn’t download the Spanish song list I gave him so my family could dance to their music. Hardly anyone was on the dance floor. It was extremely embarrassing and I talked to him and told him to play the song list I gave him and he was trying to download it during the wedding reception. May I add he also played the wrong song for our first dance and it really took away our special moment. I was so upset but had to play it off for my guests and we will never have that moment again. They were also extremely difficult to stay in contact with and took forever to respond to emails. I am sparring you the same heartache I went through. Do not use them. I hate that I had to write a bad review but it needs to be done so no one else goes through this experience.

I am so very sorry, and as stated in my direct contacts with you after reading this review, we have taken additional measures to ensure something like this never happens again to one of our customers. The DJ we provided to you has worked for us for over 8 years and typically gets outstanding reviews. When discussing your reception with him though, it became clear that he made mistakes that should never have been made, and part of that was my fault.
You trusted in us and we let you down, and I take full responsibility for that. Though I know it does not fix anything, I hope the partial refund we sent to you shows that we really do care, and it's something we take very seriously. We take a lot of pride in providing very experienced DJ's and service for reasonable prices, but in this instance we dropped the ball and I know that.

Everything went smoothly and he went above and beyond, helping release tables for our buffet, making announcements fun, and keeping the dance floor going. I would 100% recommend Pro Sound and Jon. The owner, John (different than DJ Jon), was also very responsive and helpful through the planning process. Hiring them was so worth the extra money, stress, and time saved compared just using Spotify playlist and renting a sound system, which we had seriously considered.
