Professional Elegance

Tiffany was the best choice I could have made, for my wedding day make-up and hair! I contacted her a few months prior, and she responded so fast. Anytime I had a question, she would ALWAYS get back to me in speedy time! I was unable to have a trial run, due to my busy schedule. However, she calmed my nerves, and her pictures kept my hopes up that she could capture the look I wanted. On my wedding day, she arrived about 10 minutes prior to set up. Which was fine by me! She was fun to talk to, yet professional, which was perfect! She dresses very nice..( great for our getting ready photos) She finished myself, 2 of my bridesmaids makeup and hair, 2 mother’s hair, and my flower girls hair. In about 3 1/2 hours. She really is that good! She exceeded all of our expectations! I will definitely be calling Tiffany next time I need glam services!!

So I hesitated and hesitated before writing this review but do not want another bride to have to deal with the nightmare this turned out to be on their wedding day. I like many brides planning a destination wedding, searched long and hard for someone to do my hair and makeup for a cruise wedding in May 2018. I booked Tiffany back in March, 2017 for hair and makeup for myself, my mom, and a bridesmaid. We followed up several times in the year before the wedding date. Although it took a few emails for her to respond, I had no issues and was optimistic. The day of my wedding, she planned to show up at 6:30, knowing we had to be ready by 9:30. I questioned this but she made me feel confident 3 hours was plenty of time for hair and makeup for 3. First off, she didn’t show up until 7:30..: she said she had issues getting there and getting her equipment to our hotel room.. okay.. I was a little panicked but still optimistic. She began with my mom and bridesmaids hair to get them knocked out first.. by 8:30, she had finished my moms hair and was half way through my bridesmaids. I was panicking and asked her to please begin on mine. I wanted my hair similar to my bridal photos which was a very simply style. She had photos yet after an hour of working on my hair, it looked nothing like the photo. I was in tears at this point as the hotel desk was calling our room saying all the guests were waiting for us in the lobby and the shuttle had arrived and was ready to go. My hair wasn’t anything like I’d imagined and she had yet to start my makeup. I told her to just leave it and please start my makeup. She did a great job on my makeup other than taking forever! She was in slow-motion it seemed and kept apologizing saying she felt like she was getting sick. The front desk kept calling and eventually the shuttle left for the cruise port and they promised they’d send another shuttle for myself and my mom.. I was literally in tears. We were supposed to meet the wedding coordinator at the port at 10:30 sharp. The only complaint I had about my makeup was lip color. She asked what color and I said anything other than pink.. she proceeded to give me Barbie pink lips? I never understood that one but told her to just leave it and I’d fix it once on the boat. At this point it was 10:30 and I was completely panicking.. The hotel (which was amazing) sent another shuttle as promised and we got to the port about 10:50.. My guests had already boarded and my poor groom was a frazzled mess waiting for me at the port. We rushed through the last minute details with the wedding planners and they whisked us to our rooms to get dressed. At this point we had thirty minutes before wedding time when we should have had 2 hours.. My mom and bridesmaid had to do their own makeup and my bridesmaids hair never got finished. We had to finish it ourselves once on board the cruise with the thirty minutes we had left due to being so late.. My hair had completely fallen out during the short walk from the shuttle to the cruise port. It was literally a frizz ball. My best friend had to completely restyle it once on board in addition to finishing her own hair. Tiffany was very sweet and kept apologizing throughout the entire time she fixed my hair and makeup. She said she felt sick and also mentioned getting in late the night before on a flight from California. She promised a full refund (I’d paid a 200$ deposit when booking) and my bridesmaid paid her 50$. She said she’d refund it all. Once back from our honeymoon I contacted her about the refund.. no response. I sent several more emails and texts and she eventually replied saying her PayPal was messed up and she was working on it. Several months passed with many emails and texts and no refund. No apology. It is now September, 4 months after the wedding and I haven’t heard another word from her or received any type of refund. Upon returning and reading more reviews about her, I noticed that they are all older than a year. Whatever is going on with her now I would advise you to not book her for your special event. I can’t even explain the stress she caused on a morning that was supposed to be happy and filled with special memories. I missed the shuttle for my own wedding, was 1.5 hours late meeting our wedding coordinators, all for messy hair that was nothing as I’d pictured and incomplete makeup. My mother was not satisfied with her hair, my friends hair was half complete, and neither of them had gotten their makeup done. Although my friend styled my hair once on the cruise, she is not a professional and it is nothing like I had in mind for my wedding.. For my wedding photos which we will display and look at for years to come, I have less than mediocre hair. This was my wedding day and I was in tears. I do not want another bride to have to experience what I did. Shannon

One star is too high of a rating. Tiffany was late to the venue, she seemed like she was on drugs and she did a horrible job on my makeup. She did not use any sort of primer, randomly dabbed some foundation on my face and put black eye shadow from my lashes to brows. It was comical. I did not see her clean her brushes at all that day and I believe she did 8 people's makeup. As soon as I got out of her chair I scrubbed my face and did my own makeup.

My cousin had booked Tiffany and I loved her work so I did as well. She is affordable, and will create for you, anything you are looking for. She even drove 2 hours to do my hair and make up trial with me. I had a large bridal party, she brought an assistant wi tth her the day of our wedding and she got all 12 of us done in time. can you imagine that??? She is amazing and honest. Every bride initially wants the air brush but she was honest and said with my skin type regular make up was her recommendation. It was flawless! even in the hot florida june weather. My hair did fall, which I knew it would, however it fell so beautifully. I would definitely recommend professional elegance, and I have! thank you Tiffany. Also, She takes pride in her appearance as well, she even looks stunning in my getting ready photos!!
