Prologue Events is owned by Philadelphia, who started her career in the industry by studying event planning at West Virginia University. After graduating, she worked for a local wedding planner and then moved to Ohio to be a wedding coordinator at the oldest country club in Columbus. Philadelphia has knowledge of the Seattle market and has managed events at a prominent waterfront location. Philadelphia has the knowledge and experience to make sure that your special day reflects the love you and your spouse-to-be have for each other.
Prologue Events offers three different planning packages to suit each unique couple. This planner can organize a number of events, including ceremonies, receptions, and rehearsal dinners. Philadelphia has done previous work for all types of wedding celebrations such as civil, destination, cultural, eco-friendly, and non-religious. Some services available are vendor referrals, budget analysis, guest list creation, to-do lists, and much more.

We cannot express enough how grateful we are for Philadelphia and her exceptional wedding planning services. We began working with her last summer for a month-of coordination package for our June 2025 wedding, and throughout the entire process, she was an absolute gem who went above and beyond. Unfortunately, just 4 months before our wedding, our venue went bankrupt and canceled our event without a refund. As devastating as this was, Philadelphia was an incredible support system during this difficult time. She offered guidance, compassion, and practical solutions when we needed it most.
Although we ultimately decided to postpone our wedding and didn’t require her services in the end, we have no hesitation in recommending Philadelphia to other couples. Her professionalism, expertise, and kindness were beyond impressive, and we’re confident that anyone who works with her will have an amazing experience. If you’re looking for a wedding planner who genuinely cares about making your day as special as possible and will roll with the punches, Philadelphia is the one!
Philadelphia was THE best investment we made for our wedding! From start to finish Philadelphia helped make our wedding day the experience that it was. The guidance and insights that she shared throughout the process helped us find amazing vendors, make important decisions, and coordinate the stress that is the final month before the wedding day. She truly is an expert at weddings and she went above and beyond making sure everything was set with vendors before and on the wedding day. She took the stress out of our hands so my husband and I could truly be present with each other and our guests during the wedding. I would give her more stars if possible, Philadelphia made our wedding dreams come true and we will always be grateful for her!
We hired Philadelphia as a month of coordinator and she made my day go so smoothly. From day 1 she was available for all my little questions and to bounce my ideas off of her. She handled everything I had with ease and without judgement. I felt like I could truly leave the day in her hands so I could enjoy the party.
We also hired her to do the florals for the event and she took my inspiration and brought it to life. I requested a HUGE bouquet and she delivered 100xs over. My bouquet was so large that my arms were sore the next day from holding it. I was blown away when she brought it out to me. Everyone told me throughout the day and afterwards that they loved the floral design and the flowers that she selected.
We had the pleasure of working with Prologue Events for about a year and a half (full-time planning and florals) for our wedding reception this past August at Chambers Bay Golf Course. From the moment we booked with her, Philadelphia was both professional and personable. She helped us navigate every aspect of planning a wedding, answered questions, organized timelines, suggested vendors, and became the go-to contact, keeping us on track throughout the planning process. She even stuffed and sent our wedding invitations, cut our cake, and much more. In addition to being our planner, Prologue Events also became our florist. Philadelphia created our bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces, helping to elevate and bring our beautiful event space to life. Every time we met with her, we felt as though she wanted to make our day as special as possible. She also helped us not to stress about the small stuff and reminded us that even if things didn't go as planned, everything was going to be okay. Philadelphia had so much going on in her personal life, but because of all of her experience, she was still able to manage all of the little details. Our family was so happy to be together that day, and we are so grateful to Prologue Events for helping to make that happen. We couldn't have asked for a better planner and florist. If we could give more than a 5-star review, we would! Philadelphia, thank you for all of your kindness, patience, and hard work. We are so appreciative of everything you and your team did for us. Philly, the owner of Prologue Events, is exactly the wedding planner/coordinator/florist/friend you need in your life. She does it all, which is very convenient so you don't have to communicate with a bunch of different vendors. For us, she worked on our Chinese/Tea Ceremony day and Western Ceremony day. She has lots of experience working with cultural weddings and is familiar with many traditional customs. Early on, she created a mood board for floral arrangements and tablescape, which made it easy to trust and align with her.
From beginning to end, she made the 1 year we spent wedding planning sane and somewhat enjoyable. She broke down tasks for us, allowing us to focus on one task at a time, and gave us lots of vendor suggestions to choose from.
Philly REALLY shined on our wedding weekend, which was 3 days. She constantly checked in on us, made sure we had breaks, set up every detail of the venue, patiently worked with our large hectic families, and packed up all of our belongings for us at the end of the night. She even took a bunch of behind-the-scene footages since we didn't carry our phones. We trusted Philly in executing and she delivered! She allowed us to enjoy our wedding and took on a lot of the logistical stress.
If you don't want to stress from the chaos of wedding planning and you want someone to tell you when you're veering off, don't hesitate to hire Philly!!!

Philadelphia was absolutely amazing and the key to our perfect day! She was with us every step of the way with planning, answering questions, and helping with anything we could've possibly needed. On the day of the wedding, my husband and I were able to focus solely on each other and our guests since she made sure everything was taken care and the timeline was running smoothly! I cannot recommend her enough!

We hired Philadelphia as a 'month-of' coordinator for our wedding. From the moment she stepped in, the stress of planning and coordinating melted away.
All our vendors arrangements, capturing details that popped into our minds at midnight, and making sure everything ran smoothly was suddenly so much smoother with Philadelphia at the helm - I (half) joked to my husband that the day of our wedding, she was my favorite person bar none (him included!).
If something broke, Philadelphia mended it immediately. When we needed someone to man the door quickly, she was on it. Watering plants? Check. I even at one point told her I'd lost my button from my jacket, and like magic, she found it within about 15 seconds.
As if it wasn't enough that she was so great to us on our wedding day, she was a hit with guests - family and friends all commented how warm she was, how helpful she was, and how great a job she did when we weren't in the room at helping things run smoothly.
Even if you're only just starting to think about a planner/coordinator, wondering whether you even need one, 1000% book a meeting with Philadelphia. She was worth the investment we made and more, as I don't think we could have done our wedding without her. I only wish I could hire her to run my whole life so effectively and efficiently!
Our wedding day was seamless thanks to Philadelphia. She handled coordination efforts with our vendors, decor set up, and all the small details we had no idea even went into a wedding. She also made sure we had bites to eat while getting our photographs (bless her!). My husband and I truly did not have to think of anything other than getting married and enjoying the night! We'd recommend Philadelphia/Prologue Events 1000% over - her eye for detail and style is impeccable and she really takes care of her couples.
Philadelphia was the perfect addition to our wedding vendor team! It’s easy to get lost in the wedding weeds with jargon and expensive decisions and from the start Philadelphia met us with humor and warmth. She reminded us we were the bride and groom but to still be ourselves and to choose what was important to us, not just what is standard! She is extremely organized, has an amazing system in place with reminders and tools to use and will quickly answer questions and concerns with creative solutions. She executed our décor and design vision perfectly. The goal was to have a carefree wedding day, and Philadelphia nailed that! We received so many comments that this was the “Chillest wedding” and that the “flow” was relaxed and natural. The smooth ride was all thanks to Philadelphia! I highly recommend working with her!!
Philadelphia was absolutely incredible to work with! We booked her full planning services, and would work with her again in a heartbeat. She had fantastic vendor recommendations, priceless industry insight, plus I swear we left every single check-in with her with smiles on our faces feeling amazing about how everything was coming together. She even went out of her way on our wedding day to buy me ginger ale and TUMs! I got to enjoy the rest of our reception without a stomach ache. Philadelphia was the day-of assistant for my wedding and was crucial in the execution of our wedding activities! Her organization, communication, and ability to anticipate needs proactively made the day to go smoothly and according to plan. She coordinated with our photographer, officiant, venue coordinators, and DJ to enable seamless transitions the entire day. Because of Philadelphia’s support, my husband and I were able to relax and enjoy our day stress-free! I highly recommend Prologue Events for your wedding coordinating needs.
Philadelphia was our wedding day of coordinator but it honestly felt like she was my full wedding planner! She was there from the day I booked to help with whatever I needed, was very responsive and easy to communicate with and just really easy to work with. She is detail oriented and organized and I knew she had everything under control on our wedding day. She has the sweetest personality and I could tell she really cared and listened to what I wanted. She was fantastic leading the group at rehearsal dinner and our wedding day and I am so grateful for her! Who has a cold beverage in hand to welcome you back and cool you down from your very sunny outdoor bridal/groom party photos? Who has a handheld fan to slip to the bride as she waits in a room without AC in her big floofy dress to walk down the aisle so she walks down fresh and feeling like her best? PHILADELPHIA, that's who!
You will make a dozen vendor choices for your wedding -- and each of them will require research, inquiries and "is this the right person for us?" Do yourself a favor and chat with Philadelphia right away. She's deeply experienced, so much fun and any day-of concerns or last minute worries just melt away with her on your team. She really thinks of and handles everything, so you don't have to.

Philadelphia was the key to making our wedding day truly stress-free. I talked to quite a few planners before meeting her, and she was the only one who seemed to understand our needs right from the first conversation. She is also very personable, kind, and funny. We hired her as a partial planner and she helped us stay organized and offered lists of vendors she'd worked with across various price points. We ended up hiring our DJ, photographer, and flowers thanks to her recos. A couple months out she took over all communications with our vendors and took care of every tiny detail. The week of the wedding is where she went from fabulous support to godsend. She helped with last-minute pickups, contacted vendors, sent reminders, all while we just enjoyed time with our family and friends in town for the wedding. The day of neither of us were stressed about one wedding detail. She thought of everything, set everything up with her assistant and made sure that every last detail ran smoothly. The best!
Out of all the vendors we utilized, we spoke with the most planners. None felt right until meeting Philadelphia. It was clear she had the vast event experience we were after, while still being open to helping us with whatever needed to be done. She was organized from the start, going above and beyond even what her services outlined. She provided great catering recs, tablescape mood boards, floral ideas and quotes, and even decor rental options. This was all before taking over vendor communications at a month out. The day-of, she wasn’t above helping with anything that was necessary - from setting tables to orchestrating last-minute changes to sweeping the floors at the end of the night. Philadelphia even surprised us with our favorite drinks as we got to the end of the aisle after the ceremony and made us the most perfect video highlight reel with details from our day. Philadelphia was truly the biggest blessing in the planning process and on the day-of. If you are on the fence about hiring a planner, look no further and hire Philadelphia. I guarantee it will be one of the best decisions you make!
Philadelphia was incredible. She was wonderful leading up to the wedding day-she answered all our emails in a timely manner and was so helpful in terms of rehearsal advice, et . We hired her for 8 hours on our wedding day but she arrived an hour early to start doing our decorations. She had a wedding day emergency bag with all the extra things (bobby pins, hairspray, etc.) that we might need for the day. She also made our decorations look incredible-exactly like we had asked previously in our emails. She communicated with our other vendors the week before the wedding so we wouldn’t have to, and she cued us for everything. When I panicked about our wedding favors, she was the voice of reason. I don’t usually leave reviews for things, but I could go on and on about how incredible Philadelphia was and how grateful I am that we found her for our wedding! We were unsure about hiring a coordinator but I am so so glad we hired her.

She was worth every penny. From our first calls, she tried to understand our vision and keep us thinking of thing we would have overlooked with out her help. She helped us create a timeline for vendors and family.
Day of she PRICELESS. She did the most. Ran around behind the seen so I didnt have to stress. From picking up flowers and cupcakes, to bring be coffee and making sure I drank water, I could go on and on. She made the day go off without a hitch. From the smallest details to the big ones. She’s got you.
I know she has a long successful career in-front of her, she helped made my day perfect. If you’re a person who stresses out, hire her!!!!!!!!! She will take care of you and be the best money you ever spent.
