Where do I even begin with Payton. I loved her from the minute I first talked to her on the phone. She kept me organized the entire year of wedding planning and had the best attitude that kept me calm and laughing through it all. The weekend of the wedding I cannot even IMAGINE what any of it would have been like without her. She kept everything running so smoothly and treated my friends and family like her own. Everyone from vendors to the guests to the bride & groom knew where to be and what to be doing at all times without feeling rushed or overwhelmed thanks to Payton. Working with Payton was an absolute DREAM from start to finish! During our first phone call, I knew I found exactly what I was looking for in a wedding planner. She was organized, timely, creative, charismatic, and very cost-efficient when needed. She made the entire wedding planning process a breeze for me, and better yet FUN! I felt like I was planning with a friend who had my best interest at heart (and all the best inside knowledge). Payton's monthly to-do lists were very necessary for me as I tend to be a procrastinator. It took away the worry in the back of my head of "what else do I need to be doing" when thinking about planning. When it came to the actual day if anything did not go according to plan, I was not made aware of it. She constantly put my and my husband's needs first, including grabbing us food from our cocktail hour and hiding us away so we could have a private moment or rounding up all my guests and getting them to return to the tent because I was ready to start dancing. She understood our vision PERFECTLY and helped us have the wedding of our dreams. Payton and her team did an amazing job on our wedding day. I wouldn’t have changed a thing! We got married at Granby Ranch and there were so many moving parts to the day (chairlift up, ceremony on top of a mountain, chairlift back down, cocktail hour, and tented reception) and it all went seamless! Payton was great at organizing and coordinating the vendors delivering, set up, and breakdown. The reception/table setting set up was..chef’s kiss, beautiful! Payton was awesome! From our first meeting we loved her vibe, and she helped us create an amazing night! Super responsive, kept us on top of everything, and took away some major stressors from this process. She narrowed down our vendor choices to just a few that she thought fit well for us, and she absolutely killed it. We LOVE Payton!!!! She has the perfect energy where she both feels professional but also like a good friend! Throughout our wedding planning process she was organized and on top of it! We opted for the meet-in-the-middle package which was perfect for us, as we already had a vision for our decor and how we wanted our display to look. We were incredibly specific with some items and Payton didn’t even bat an eye! All of our decor items and small details were exactly how we wanted them. On the day of our wedding I didn’t check in with anyone I just enjoyed the day! We had an overall untraditional wedding and she went with the flow, and always did her best not to overwhelm us. Payton checked in with us throughout the night to make sure things were going smooth, corrected any errors, and took of the little things. She handled a DJ mishap we had, and even went out to replenish alcohol when we ran low! She’s the kind of person you want watching your back!

OK. WOW. First of all, if you looking at this review.. STOP. RIGHT. NOW. Look literally no further. Payton is the best choice you will ever make. My husband and I were a couple from Michigan, trying to plan a wedding in Colorado, with no family or friends from there! I was the first in my family to get married, and first of my friends - & she was beyond patient with me. She went above and beyond in areas she didn't need to. She let me ship things to her house, let me call/text as much as I'd like, and even met us at the hotel after the wedding to bring me all my belongings so I didn't have to even think about it. All the guests at our wedding thought she was just an amazing friend, running around, killing it, making sure the day went as smoothly as possible. My day was PERFECT - no hiccups (and if there were, I didn't even notice)!! Besides her skill, her personality is calm .. which is so needed, while being such a "go-getter". Not only did I get a wedding planner and day of coordinator with her, but a good friend as well! I seriously can't thank her enough. 1000/10 recommend, GOODNESS!

Payton and her team at Promise Event Planners were an absolute joy to work with throughout our entire wedding process and brought our vision to life for the perfect wedding weekend that was beyond anything we could have hoped for. From the very beginning, Payton was very organized and kept us on track with monthly to-do-lists. She was always two or more steps ahead, always having answers to our questions and solutions to any obstacles before we even asked. Payton also did a beautiful job designing our wedding. My husband and I are not great with decorations or designs but we knew we wanted a rustic, summer-camp feel for our fall wedding at Camp Hale. Payton absolutely nailed our vision and went above and beyond in bringing this atmosphere to life. She did this by creating a beautiful design concept for our wedding with a natural color palette that matched the surrounding landscape, working with the florist to plan beautiful floral arrangements that complemented the natural beauty with lots of greenery and wild-flower type florals, designing the table settings with rustic wood tables and chairs and plaid napkins, and finding antler chandeliers for a finishing touch. Payton’s vendor recommendations were also excellent - we worked with Payton’s recommendation for music (both acoustic for the ceremony and DJ for the reception) and we had the most beautiful ceremony music and awesome dance party. Payton and Emily also delivered stellar day-of coordination. They kept the whole event moving and organized while having fun with the wedding party along the way. The whole weekend and wedding day was perfect - it was beautiful, it had a loving and laid back atmosphere, and the energy in the room was infectious. After planning a wedding and attending several, I have learned that this doesn’t just happen but rather takes months and months of preparation and takes lots of organization and grace for the day of. Payton and her team went above and beyond to make this happen and we will be forever grateful for their work in sending us into our marriage in the best way possible.

Payton made our day absolutely perfect. We hired Payton in 2019 with our wedding date being in 2020. Payton was so helpful with the budget and helping us find all our vendors! I could not imagine navigating all the options out there without her. When we decided to postpone our date an entire year she supported us through the entire process. I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful Payton was and the value she brought to creating a magical wedding for our daughter and son-in-law. We wanted a wedding planner who could educate and guide us given how complicated a wedding is. Payton was all of that and more. She was incredibly organized keeping us on track for what needed to be done and when. Her recommendations for venues and service providers were fabulous - She gave us assorted options for each area making it easy to then select our amazing location (Camp Hale), beautiful florist, incredible DJ, talented hair and make-up artists. We couldn’t have been happier with all of them. Her temperament is a perfect combination of warmth and strength, always remaining calm while ensuring that we all stayed on track. After 15 months of planning, the wedding was flawless. The bride and groom were free to simply soak in the love and joy of the day, without any worries about the zillion details that need to be managed. Payton and her team were life savers. She was always communicative, listened to our wants and concerns, provided a clear step-by-step/month-by-month plan, checked in with us regularly, and pulled off a perfect ceremony on the day that several guests called the best wedding they've ever been to. And considering we were in a different state than the venue during the entire planning phase (and sometimes my wife and I were in different states from each other) plus we were dealing with a constantly shifting covid landscape, this all counts as a miracle. Stop reading these reviews, and just go book Payton. Seriously. Best choice you'll make. My wife and I had to make a drastic change of course in our wedding planning (thanks pandemic) and decided in January 2021 to abandon our international plan and have a wedding in the Denver area in August 2021. We wanted an outdoor, picturesque location in a place less uncomfortably humid than our east coast city. With only seven months to plan, we knew we needed an efficient planner who was knowledgeable of the area and the resources. Payton promptly responded to our email request and set up a video conference shortly thereafter. We had great chemistry with her from the beginning. Promise Event Planners has two options for planning services--a full planning option, and one that allows the couple to still have some autonomy and help with organization. Since we'd already begun planning we decided to choose the second option. Payton took the lead on helping us find locations for our wedding/reception and for our rehearsal dinner that fit our style and price range, and found us amazing vendors for cake, flowers, and hair & makeup that were great to work with. She ran point with those individuals and helped review and manage the contracts. She kept our budget and schedule in an easy-to-use online site, and checked in with us a couple times a month to see where we were with the things we'd agreed to continue managing--invitations, guest list, bridal party wardrobe and details, etc. Payton was always easy to reach and available to answer questions we had about the process and the area in general. A few months before the wedding she traveled 2 hours outside of Denver to meet us at our selected site for the visit and tasting, and walked us through the remaining details and selections we had to make. On the day of the wedding, Payton was with us from early in the morning until the last guests left that night. She and Emily took such great care of both sides of the bridal party. She adjusted boutonnières, bustled my dress for me, and always made sure we were in place and that we had everything we needed. She even helped us figure out how to get larger/bulk items to the venue since we lived out of state. Our whole party loved her warm personality and take-charge attitude. All of our attendees had an amazing time, and my wife and I know that we have Payton to thank for that. We can't imagine anyone giving us a better planning experience.

I could not recommend Payton and Emily enough- easily the best decision I made during my wedding planning process! These girls did a fantastic job from the tiny details such as drying off my flowers before I walked down the aisle so my dress wouldn't get wet up to the largest details such as orchestrating the set up and tear down of our wedding- including getting all of our personal items back to us at the end of the evening. I'm so glad I hired them and my only regret is not hiring them for the full package! They did SO much for my wedding even though I only did the "Month Of" package but if you're in between or considering a full package they are worth every penny! Communication was easy and I received so many compliments on how smoothly things went at my wedding (or at least it seemed that way- if something went wrong I didn't even notice!) and other vendors complimented how easy it was to work with Payton and Emily. Highly recommend!

Payton was a breathe of fresh air. I would not have been able to plan and execute my wedding without her. She emailed me every month to check in. Then when my venue was driving me up the wall her bubbly personality and organized professionalism kept me sane. Then on the day of my wedding, a huge storm blew in and shut the gondola down for three hours. She stay in contact with them and kept me updated. I would 110% recommend this amazing woman!

Payton was beyond anything I could have hoped for. My now husband is living in California, and I am living in Colorado but going to school full time. Planning a wedding was not in the cards for us. We knew right from the start we needed a planner that we could connect with and that understood what was important to us to make it happen. Payton is without a doubt the best. She was always available to answer my questions, she handled everything with the vendors, and when I had no idea what I wanted, she helped make the decisions. And probably most important, she answered all of my mom’s questions and helped to put my mom at ease about everything. Everyone kept asking for months leading up to the wedding how stressed I was and my answer was always the same, “I am zero stressed and my job is to just show up on the day”. Payton really made everything seamless and it allowed me and my husband to just get to enjoy the day and soak up every second. She was the easiest and best decision we made. If you are on the fence, trust me, just hire her. You will not regret it, and your wedding will be everything you’ve ever dreamed of and more!

We reached out to Payton after moving our wedding plans twice due to covid. We were planning a backyard wedding in about a month and she stepped in and helped organize everything. She lead us to an amazing caterer and had good recommendations for other last minute needs. Day of she handled everything and we had zero stress or worries! She was lovely and fun to work with!

Peyton is very good at her job and has a wonderful personality. She takes a lot of stress off the Bride with the organization and setup especially on the day of the Wedding. I would highly recommend her and her assistant. There were a few glitches but all in all it was a fabulous day.

Payton Bernstein is the Payton Manning of Wedding Planners. She was the MVP of our daughter's wedding and at all times put in a performance worthy of the Super Bowl! Our daughter lives in Denver and we live in Los Angeles. Payton was always there for us, with timely answers, and great suggestion. She stood by us every step of the way and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Kept us on budget and tracked down all the necessary items to personalize the event. She had no problems coordinating with the Venue, which she patiently helped us find on a weekend. Payton service was so good, frankly, we felt as if we were her only client. Payton Bernstine and Promise Event Planners are absolutely amazing. Hiring Payton to do full coordination for us is absolutely the best decision that we made, second only to deciding to get married! I wasn't the kind of bride that had a full vision or even knew what she wanted sometimes, but Payton helped us figure out how to make our wedding uniquely us, and made the whole experience fun and way less stressful. So many times I would turn to my fiancé (now husband) and say, "Hey, planning a wedding is pretty fun!" Often I would give Payton some vague notions, and she would come back with the perfect vendor for us or an amazing suggestion that we instantly loved. I really feel that she truly listened and thought about what we would like and executed on it. I'm generally very shy and reserved about expressing when I like or don't like something, but Payton made me feel totally safe and free to express my opinions and ask questions, even ones that I thought were silly. She was always encouraging and helpful. She took care of the more stressful details for us and let us know exactly what we needed to do. Payton was also attentive and available, providing prompt responses via email or text. Just in general Payton is a consummate professional with the skills, knowledge, experience, and savvy. All of our vendors said the same thing: "Payton is the best." And I am saying the same. We had an amazing wedding. It was everything that we wanted and SO much more because of her. And just as a person, Payton is fun, smart, and funny. My husband and I already miss her!

Payton and team did a phenomenal job from start to finish. We began working with Payton before we had even selected a venue - she helped us find the perfect place which required selecting all our own vendors. For each vendor she narrowed it down to a couple option that fit our style and budget and helped us decide from there. All of her advice and suggestions along the way were invaluable and saved us countless hours, not to mention how seamlessly everything ran the day of, including making a secret run to the liquor supplier when we ran low on rose (to the shock of all our experienced vendors who reviewed the bar plan). Payton was the perfect balance of giving opinions and suggestions from her experience while letting your ideas and vision drive the end result. We loved working with her and would highly recommend!

Honestly, I couldn’t have done this wedding without Payton. She is reliable, honest, kind, driven, so much fun and unstoppable. On my wedding day there were minutes until it was about to rain and if it did we wouldn’t have been able to get married outside like we had wanted. Payton knew this was important to us and found a way to get everyone ready quickly and we beat the rain! Every single part of the wedding day as well as the planning we felt taken care of. Even when we would forget things that were important, she was on it. In addition to all of this, we moved out of state in the middle of the planning and she took that on as if it was no problem at all. And as we know, us being out of state could make things more difficult but she made it feel like everything was still perfect and lovely, a dream. Her outgoing personality made the whole process a blast and I knew that when it came down to it, my fiancé and I were always number 1. I highly recommend this outstanding woman as she blew me away with her support and ambition. I will miss our time planning together dearly.

PEP and Payton Bernstine were fantastic. We were happy from start to finish. Payton is so fun to be around so every meeting was something we looked forward to! She listened carefully to our wants and needs, shortlisted excellent and well qualified vendors, assisted in negotiating reasonable costs, and delivered on our vision in every aspect! She was very flexible and accommodating with our schedules which was not easy since we were planning a Colorado wedding from Austin, Texas... We hired Payton to assist throughout the wedding planning process and we are so glad we did. Having a professional to outsource our to-do list saved us a lot of time and anxiety. Where Payton particularly shone was her day-of coordination. Neither I nor my now-husband thought about a single planning detail during our wedding and simply let the process happen seamlessly.

Payton is amazing! From the first phone call I had with her I knew that she would make our day so special. We are not from Colorado and we’re not able to see or taste anything until the day of. Every last detail was better than what I expected and the schedule was seamless. When I met her for the first time it seemed like a long lost friend. Even my family adored her! She is definitely worth every penny and will do everything in her power to make sure every detail is perfect.

I hired Payton for her "month of" service. There are a lot of things I can say about Payton, but I'll focus on a few of the most amazing things about her. (1) She is just a great person to be around. I really wanted a coordinator who had a sense of humor, and who I felt comfortable around. Payton is that person. She immediately fell in with my finance and I, my family, and got our sense of humor / style. When I was nervous, this put me at ease and kept it so we were always having fun and enjoying ourselves; (2) She is extremely generous and jumps in to help and contribute even if it does not strictly fall into a month-of service; (3) I felt like I could go to her with any issue and she would talk it out with me; (4) My wedding stayed perfectly on schedule (until the end), which I am told NEVER happens, and we were on a tight timeline. On the day, I didn't pay any attention to what time it was or any details or anything, and somehow it all magically happened and was amazing ;)

After going through planning a wedding & getting married our advice to everyone we meet is either elope or hire Promise Event Planners. We honestly would not have created our dream wedding without Payton at Promise Event Planners. She took our tiny pieces of inspiration and transformed all of them into a beautiful, creative, comfortable, elaborate wedding. Every little detail was perfectly thought out from the time we walked in the door to get ready for the wedding until all of our guests were on their way home with their party gifts. Throughout the entire process Payton allowed us to see and meet the best of the best vendors, not deal with little details that would stress us out, helped our families communicate, and overall created our dream wedding. In the end our wedding was beyond beautiful, but it also was very reflective of our personalities, relationship, and love: which is the difference between Promise Event Planners and other wedding planners. A planner can create a great event. Payton can create an event that feel emulates the couple and the love they share. She did just that for us.

Oh my! I never would have had the peace of mind that everything was going to go perfectly if I didn’t have Payton! From the moment my daughter met her I knew she was perfect to calm her nerves, worries and anxiety. Trying to plan everything from 870 miles away in Houston, was very challenging. Payton is knowledgable, very patient and extremely organized. Her planning skills and ability to tackle everything with grace and a positive attitude is extremely reassuring. She executes exactly what she tells you and there’s no worry that she would ever forget even the littlest details. What a pleasure working with her! I can’t say enough wonderful things about Payton.
