Our venue tried to pull some shady moves and she helped us navigate the awkward conversations as well as the come to a needed resolution. Payton also brought so many ideas and solutions to our day, and did so with grace. My wedding dress was a 2 in 1 and I planned to surprise my groom on the dance floor, which she was so helpful with and ensured it was executed perfectly. Which we also went viral on instagram with 16 million views -- as she deserves for all of her hard work. We also had two ceremonies the same day, which she ensured we were timely and pacing well with balancing both of those. We couldn't suggest Payton and her team enough to someone for their wedding. She travels out of state too so I'd consider her if you were looking to have your wedding outside of Colorado.

She was always two or more steps ahead, always having answers to our questions and solutions to any obstacles before we even asked. Payton also did a beautiful job designing our wedding. My husband and I are not great with decorations or designs but we knew we wanted a rustic, summer-camp feel for our fall wedding at Camp Hale. Payton absolutely nailed our vision and went above and beyond in bringing this atmosphere to life. She did this by creating a beautiful design concept for our wedding with a natural color palette that matched the surrounding landscape, working with the florist to plan beautiful floral arrangements that complemented the natural beauty with lots of greenery and wild-flower type florals, designing the table settings with rustic wood tables and chairs and plaid napkins, and finding antler chandeliers for a finishing touch. Payton’s vendor recommendations were also excellent - we worked with Payton’s recommendation for music (both acoustic for the ceremony and DJ for the reception) and we had the most beautiful ceremony music and awesome dance party. Payton and Emily also delivered stellar day-of coordination. They kept the whole event moving and organized while having fun with the wedding party along the way. The whole weekend and wedding day was perfect - it was beautiful, it had a loving and laid back atmosphere, and the energy in the room was infectious. After planning a wedding and attending several, I have learned that this doesn’t just happen but rather takes months and months of preparation and takes lots of organization and grace for the day of. Payton and her team went above and beyond to make this happen and we will be forever grateful for their work in sending us into our marriage in the best way possible.

We wanted an outdoor, picturesque location in a place less uncomfortably humid than our east coast city. With only seven months to plan, we knew we needed an efficient planner who was knowledgeable of the area and the resources. Payton promptly responded to our email request and set up a video conference shortly thereafter. We had great chemistry with her from the beginning. Promise Event Planners has two options for planning services--a full planning option, and one that allows the couple to still have some autonomy and help with organization. Since we'd already begun planning we decided to choose the second option. Payton took the lead on helping us find locations for our wedding/reception and for our rehearsal dinner that fit our style and price range, and found us amazing vendors for cake, flowers, and hair & makeup that were great to work with. She ran point with those individuals and helped review and manage the contracts. She kept our budget and schedule in an easy-to-use online site, and checked in with us a couple times a month to see where we were with the things we'd agreed to continue managing--invitations, guest list, bridal party wardrobe and details, etc. Payton was always easy to reach and available to answer questions we had about the process and the area in general. A few months before the wedding she traveled 2 hours outside of Denver to meet us at our selected site for the visit and tasting, and walked us through the remaining details and selections we had to make. On the day of the wedding, Payton was with us from early in the morning until the last guests left that night. She and Emily took such great care of both sides of the bridal party. She adjusted boutonnières, bustled my dress for me, and always made sure we were in place and that we had everything we needed. She even helped us figure out how to get larger/bulk items to the venue since we lived out of state. Our whole party loved her warm personality and take-charge attitude. All of our attendees had an amazing time, and my wife and I know that we have Payton to thank for that. We can't imagine anyone giving us a better planning experience.

Communication was easy and I received so many compliments on how smoothly things went at my wedding (or at least it seemed that way- if something went wrong I didn't even notice!) and other vendors complimented how easy it was to work with Payton and Emily.
