Wow… how do I even begin a review for two amazing people who gave so much to ensure me and my husband had the best day of our lives together?! Francesca and Blake at Pure Luxe Bride are ABSOLUTELY top of the line in this business! My husband and I chose Blake and Francesca after speaking to three different wedding planners in Charleston, and our initial gut feeling about them couldn’t have been more true. As a brideand groom our stress levels throughout the year and a half of planning were extremely minimal, and this is strictly because of how professional, punctual, and what amazing communicators Blake and Francesca were. After our design meetings my husband was so thrilled with both of them he said he would trust them to plan our entire wedding and know we could walk in blind and be happy! And looking back, he was 100% right! Blake and Francesca knew exactly how to assist us in finding our vision (because wow we realized we are not professionals haha) and lead us in the right direction when it came to vendors and design. Every. Single. Vendor. they recommended to us was perfection. This was huge for us as we were planning our wedding from out of town, but honestly, they made us feel like we were right there every step of the way. Anytime we were hesitant about something they knew exactly how to help us feel confident in our decisions and personally they never made me feel like a difficult bride when I went back and forth on a decision. They truly made us feel like we were communicating with old friends, and as a bride I couldn’t have wished for a better planning experience. On the day of the wedding Blake and Francesca truly showed their professionalism! They were on top of EVERYTHING, every vendor they recommended was AMAZING, and the entire team just crushed it! They directed everyone smoothly, made sure we were well fed and well “hydrated” throughout our day haha, and ensured that all we had to worry about was soaking in the moment together. And that is exactly what we were able to do because of the both of them. If there were any hiccups on the day of our wedding, who cares! Because my husband and I never knew about it thanks to the both of them. I am sure of it! People ask us to this day what we would have changed about our wedding or was there anything with the planning that didn’t go the way we wanted on the day of…. And honestly I feel slightly guilty when I respond with “ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!” My husband and I both agree that our big day couldn’t have been more perfect and we know we owe so much of this to Blake and Francesca. 6 months later and our friends and family still talk about how perfect our wedding weekend was like it was yesterday. If you’re looking for wedding planners who are professional, punctual, direct, have amazing vision, provide the best vendors, and overall treat you like family… then look no further and get on their books yesterday!

Our Charleston elopement by Pure Luxe Bride was amazing from start to finish! Francesca and Blake are so easy and wonderful to work with. I felt like they understood our vision and turned it into more than I could have ever dreamed. Our family was also amazed at how seamless and beautiful everything was on our wedding day. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect, classic Charleston wedding whether that’s a huge, grand affair or a smaller more intimate ceremony like our elopement! Y’all are the dream team!!!

We loved working with PLB team. No exaggeration, we would have ended up in a court house if it wasn't for their hard work, creativity, dedication, organization, and thoughtfulness. My husband and I are both from Charleston, but have very busy NYC lives now. We wanted the big, family celebration, but definitely did not have the time to plan it ourselves. PLB did an amazing job working with our busy schedules and making things as easy as possible, all while ensuring we had the creative input and integrity we wanted. The things we were really specific about (decor, music, wine), they executed perfectly and sourced amazing vendors for us. The things that we didn't have a strong POV on, they lended their expertise and helped us understand the best path forward. 10/10 working with them was so efficient, smooth, stress-free. Beyond that though, the team is a delight! And true creatives at heart. The offered the perfect balance of creativity and design with logistical excellence and pragmatism. For example, we had to scramble to pull together a rain plan that was pretty disruptive to our original vision. They made this not-so-fun thing seamless and ensured it was something that we were not going to stressing about on the actual wedding day. The rain plan (which we ended up having to go with!) was flawlessly executed. Kindness, good communication, patience, thoroughness, seeing things through. These are all the things you can expect from PLB and more. As I said at the beginning, we literally could not have done it without them.

It’s hard to see all the amazing reviews posted by brides about PLB. Our wedding was an utter disaster and the planning process with them wasn’t much better. Some of the small things that went wrong were they forgot to have the venue turn on the lights in the Avenue of Oak or add this to our lighting bill, the fountain wasn’t turned on, the custom ice cubes we ordered only had my husband’s initial on them, the one verse in my father daughter dance I request not be omitted was cut, and those were the small things. The big things included the band was changed last minute and not all the members showed up for our event. This meant our custom stage was half empty and looked ridiculous. To make things worse the florist PLB recommended we hire after refusing to work with the florist I requested, destroyed our vision. The only photos from our venue have hardly any flowers in them. Her work lacked the skill and artistry to create installations or arrangement we asked for and PLB watched her put together the flowers for our wedding and didn’t say a thing when they differed greatly from what we asked for. The icing on the cake was that night and the next day I texted Francesca to inform her of our disappointment and dissatisfaction with the flowers. She failed to forward that complaint on to the florist or tell us she wasn’t going to in the time permitted by the florist to allow us to recover a partial refund. When we inquired about how to resolve this she pretty much said “F off we don’t care anymore”. The planning process with PLB was great either. I wanted a custom look for our wedding. My goal was to take an interior designer approach to the decor and details. PLB prefers to work with a small group of vendors. While some were amazing, mainly our caterer, it was clear they didn’t take the time to research what vendor would be best for us, our style or design. For example, one month prior to our wedding we had to frantically find a new baker because the baker PLB recommended, who we hired finally admitted she couldn’t produce the look we wanted for our wedding cake. In addition, they are not receptive to working with new vendors. I had to push to get them to use a new rental company out of Savannah. At the end of the day our photographer was the best decision we made. She fought for us and what we wanted. She spent hours photoshopping and working with angles to make our venue decor look similar to the inspiration photos we submitted after our florist ignored them completely. What hurts the most is PLB made her feel like shit. I even had to send an email at one point asking if everyone was going to be able to get along. PLB struggled to create custom designs for us. I think they work well in recreating images their brides provide.

Words can not adequately describe how incredible Francesca & Blake are! If you are considering ​enlisting the services of Pure Luxe Bride for your wedding planning needs, do it!!! On my wedding day, I received countless comments from friends and family that I was such a "chill bride" - It's true, I did not feel an ounce of stress a​nd I owe 100% of that to Pure Luxe's meticulous planning. They had every single detail, no matter how big or small, already thought out and flawlessly executed. During our planning process they helped us curate the most PERFECT list of vendors, kept us on track, managed our budgets, and thought of every tiny detail. Pure Luxe Bride not only met but exceeded every single one of our expectations. The ​P​LB team is the epitome of professionalism, and their responsiveness is unmatched — ​even a year out from the wedding, they made us feel like their top priority.​ I cannot recommend ​t​hem enough!!

We are still floating from the magnificent wedding created by Francesca and Blake at Pure Luxe Bride. Our daughter's dream wedding was executed with perfection. Hiring Francesca and Blake was the best decision we made during the wedding planning process! They are incredibly organized, driven, knowledgeable and most of all just lovely to work with. My parents and I had different items that we considered high priority, and they addressed each one with the utmost care. All of Francesca’s recommendations for vendors were truly amazing – each one delivered exactly what we wanted. Francesca knew my vision even better than I did, and the whole event turned out stunning! The PLB team thought of so many little details that we would not have even considered – all of which made the day run so smoothly. From the start they were energetic, kind, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping me plan my dream wedding. I had a very specific vision and they brought that to life and then some. My wedding guests said they had never been to a more beautifully decorated and well run wedding. Everything ran so smoothly and Francesca and Blake's attention to detail is second to none. From that first initial conversation, Francesca already had an idea of a band for me (which I ended up picking and LOVING) and she had an answer for every question that I could think of. I don't even know where to start. When I started looking into having a destination wedding two years ago there was so much to consider. Being across the country and having no one in Charleston that could help me I was reaching out to different venues and happen to get a list of planners in the area. I looked at maybe two before looking up Pure Luxe Bride and I fell in love with everything about their aesthetic. After our first phone meeting, I was sold! I didn't need to talk to any other planners I knew they would be the ones! You could immediately tell how much they truly care and want to create the best wedding for each and every one of their couples. Francesca and Blake are such a hard working team and I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day the most magical day of our lives. I am not the most creative person so I gave them a few small inputs and they took that and put everything together so seamlessly. Their attention to detail had every guest at our wedding telling us how beautiful our wedding was and how much fun they had. Blake and Francesca are honestly two of the best people I've ever met and we are so fortunate that we got to work with them to plan our wedding. From the very first day I called and spoke with Blake, I was obsessed and I knew that they were the only ones for us. They are the most professional team I've ever met and boy oh boy do they know what they're doing! At my own job, I pride myself on being responsive, and they put me to shame. They helped me out with every. single. detail. from the smallest to the biggest things and made the whole planning process super fun, seamless and stress-free. A few days before our wedding date, we got word that there was going to be a hurricane, which would end up causing our venue to shut down. It was decided that we would postpone until the Spring, but that didn’t stop Blake and Francesca from keeping the dream alive that weekend. They quickly worked on a Plan B, which involved a small ceremony at my parent’s Airbnb with our officiant, photographer and the most beautiful flowers. I threw on what was supposed to be my rehearsal dinner dress and we did the dang thing with a small group of friends and family that made it down before the hurricane. I could never thank Blake and Francesca enough for their positive energy, which turned what could have been a terrible weekend into one of the best weekends of our lives. Fast forward to our (second) wedding in the Spring and OMG!!! It was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. They carried out my vision to absolute perfection. I feel like I had a lot of different ideas than what they might’ve been used to, which just means that they truly understand their individual clients. They made our wedding into the best night of our lives (again). I’ve had so many friends and family plan weddings and all of them would ask me how I was so calm, cool and collected all of the time and truly the answer is Pure Luxe Bride! If you’re wondering whether to hire Pure Luxe Bride for your wedding - do it!!!! I did a curated elopement with Francesca and she was AMAZING. I am in awe of how perfectly everything went, I was so happy my cheeks hurt from smiling so much!! I got lots of compliments about every aspect of our wedding - from how great Francesca herself was, how the venue was stunning, how great the photo/video team was, how great the pictures turned out, how gorgeous the flowers were, how beautiful our hair/makeup was, how our officiant was perhaps the best they’ve heard, and how beautiful the music was. Francesca and Blake work with top notch vendors and boy does it make a difference! It meant so much to my husband and I to pull off such a seamless and beautiful day. We loved every minute of it and I can’t think of anything we’d change at all.

This is the wedding planing duo you need in your life! When I saw what am amazing job Francesca and Blake did with my sister’s wedding I knew I would hire them for mine. When I was looking for a wedding venue I was looking for venue first and then a planner, however once I met with Blake and Francesca I knew that I needed to flip that. They were so wonderful and had the best past performances on their website that I chose to pick a date and venue that fit them, not me. Best decision I've ever made. These fierce women made me feel so at home when I was planning a destination wedding. From not stressing on the big stuff, to making sure everything matched on the smallest of details. They did not skip a beat and they have a vision for these things that is unmatched. If were to try to create in my brain my personality in a formal setting, well they did it. My husband and I were jaw dropped when we walked into our reception on our wedding day. Not only that, but leading up to the wedding the week of they never skipped a beat. Blake & Francesca took care of every detail and made my daughter’s destination wedding in Charleston a weekend that I will never forget. Their recommended vendors were all fabulous, their quick replies to any questions were so appreciated and their management of the wedding day (down to the minute!) allowed me to soak the whole day in without worry! Nothing was a problem for them~even last minute requests were handled with ease. They took my daughter’s vision for her wedding day and ran with it, totally understanding what she wanted and making it happen! As a fairly laid back bride I let them take the creative wheel and it did not disappoint. On our wedding day everything came together and was so beautiful. I didn't feel stressed at any point in the planning process and their communication was the best. I highly recommend making them part of your big day!

For my only daughter, her wedding day had to be one of the best days of her life, and it was! Francesca, and Blake made planning a huge event nearly seamless. Questions, emails were always answered in a timely manner, also keeping us informed on the processes, and schedules as the big day grew closer. All in all the wedding went off without a hitch, most of all my daughter was the happiest I’ve ever seen her.

Francesca & Blake are THE DREAM TEAM. For all future brides & MOB's this is all I can say: A question I received throughout the process is "OMG you must be so stressed, etc etc" but I never had the chance to- because F&B handled it all, and I mean EVERYTHING. They took my vision and completely ran with it and made the whole process seamless and fun! They honed into every detail- and it did not go un-noticed by our guests- from the tent design, florals, caterers, the list could go on! They are not only amazing wedding planners, but good people- and I will continue to have a friendship with them now that my wedding is over! However- can we PLEASE hit rewind and do that again? It truly was the best night of my life! My favorite part about the process was the wedding was at my father's house. Where I was getting my hair and make up done, I was at a window facing the yard where the tent was getting put up. I watched it go from a blank canvas to a coastal chic garden party right before my eyes- it was truly incredible! Pure Luxe Bride made our wedding day dreams come true! They surpassed our dreams and expectations. We are still getting calls and texts saying how our wedding was perfect!! When a guest got their makeup on my face, Francesca even used her personal makeup to fix mine. They are so sweet and went above and beyond with everything. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! From the beginning, Francesca and Blake strived to understand us as a couple as well as our vision for the wedding. Because this was a destination wedding for us, we weren't familiar with local vendors and they were able to provide us with an amazing team that worked seamlessly together. I was always amazed with how quick they are with their communication, it was almost unreal (they would respond within 5 minutes for most emails!). They also were such lifesavers when we decided to postpone our wedding due to COVID. They reached out to our vendors on our behalf and worked with us to make sure that we still get our dream wedding. They also kept me calm when rain was in the forecast and made sure that I will still get my dream outdoor wedding, regardless of the weather. How do I put into words how special these two women are? They are simply indescribable. On March 18, 2020 my wedding was canceled with a few days notice. They handled this news with poise and grace. Wow!!! Pure Luxe knocked it out of the park!!! My daughter's wedding day was absolutely perfect, and we could not have done it without Pure Luxe!! From our very first meeting to gathering up all of our belongings at the end of the wedding, they took care of everything we needed and everything we didn't even know we needed. We were able to have as much fun as the guests because Blake and Francesca kept everything moving and on time, all the while making sure Hannah and Justin had food and drink at all times.
