Push The Limit

e been fortunate enough now to see them at River City and 3 other friends' weddings besides our own. We LOVE them. Their energy, enthusiasm and great personalities made our reception a HIT! We would highly recommend them to anyone getting married or hosting an event. They were the perfect balance of old and new hits. We are so glad we picked PTL for our wedding reception! P.S. We would still like the groupie shirts!

they played soft jazz during the cocktail reception, piano during dinner and then rocked it out for three and a half hours with a 10 piece band. The dance floor was full all night. My husband told me confidently that his friends would be by the bar later in the evening and wouldn't get out to dance. Wrong. He happily ate his words when his friends and family (and mine) were out there till midnight. And when I say they didn't stop, I am serious. We paid a bit extra for "continuous play" and the band was ON full strength the whole time. I was going for an elegant AND fun affair, and Push the Limit definitely helped deliver on the fun. My wedding planner wasn't familiar with them initially, but I'm glad I trusted my gut after watching their videos and seeing them perform live at a public show. They were incredible and I can't say enough how much I would recommend them.

We wanted an acoustic guitar duo and they completely delivered. We sent them links to the songs we wanted them to play and they were awesome!!! Overall - the best experience we could have hoped for.

Right from the beginning they had people out on the dance floor and they kept the party going all night. We had a couple of song requests, but mostly trusted that they would play music that matched our taste. By the end of the night we just wanted to keep the party going. For weeks after the wedding we heard from so many of our guests about how much they liked the band.

nd four hours of dance music. We asked for no slow songs, and PTL did not disappoint. During that time, the band only took two (two!) breaks. The musicians --- instrumentalists and singers alike --- were consummate performers whose technique was only matched by their professionalism and energy. PTL brought the house down. To this day, we receive compliments about the Push The Limit's performance at our reception. Some folks liked the food. Some liked the cake. But everyone, without exception, loved the band. (Three of my guests actually booked PTL for their own weddings after seeing them play at our reception, and I'm really excited to see them perform again!) What more can I say? They were perfect. The band's production group (Downtime Productions) was also easy to work with, and planning with them was a breeze. They made it easy to pick music. We made specific requests from their repertoire and also requested that some songs NOT be played, and Downtime/PTL made every accommodation. I cannot say enough how glad we are that Push The Limit played at our wedding.

They were accommodating and allowed us to have a special first dance which was a flash mob as well as let three of our guests perform prepared songs with the band throughout the evening. The announcers were great and everything went smoothly. They played everything we requested and more. We still have guests raving about our band and how great they were. From beginning to the end of the wedding reception - Push the Limit was fabulous! Jon was on top of the schedule, communicating with me throughout the evening and the musicians and singers were outstanding! I have attended many weddings and have never seen the dance floor so crowded throughout the evening! Everyone was asking who the band was and thought the music was great! Push the Limit exceeded my expectations and I would recommend this band very highly!

They didn't take any breaks so the dance floor was crowded the entire night! My family and I had people coming up to us constantly saying how great the band was and how much fun they had at the wedding. The singers did such a great job, guests told me they forgot it was a band and not the real artist! I was so impressed by their professionalism and energy the entire night. Plus, Jon is amazing to work with and extremely responsive, something I think all brides can appreciate. They truly made my wedding an unforgettable day.

does Push the Limit have an incredible song list, they will also learn 2 songs for you so if there's something missing from their list that you want played don't worry. They also will listen to exactly what you want and will exclude any songs that you're not a fan of. This band is FUN. They just get it. They know how to read the crowd and play the best and most appropriate songs for the moment. The lead singer is outstanding and Jon was great to work with leading up to our event. He's super nice and listened to everything we wanted and kept track of our timeline. Pretty much every single person that was at my wedding told me how amazing they were and that they've never seen a better band at a wedding. I wasn't planning on having the most fun wedding ever, but I did and it was because of Push the Limit! The dance floor was packed the entire night I couldn't believe it. They are by far the best band in St. Louis! Book them immediately!

They could play a little bit of everything and had people dancing the entire night, which we all know is the sign of a great reception! They even learn two songs for you and we picked NOT easy songs, and they did fantastic! I would highly recommend if you are hoping for tons of fun and dancing all night long.

ial conversation where three things that were most important to us #1) Good open bar #2) Good photographer and #3) An awesome live band. Well being that I was planning a St. Louis wedding from Cincinnati, we took to the internet to do some research. Low and behold we came across a band that was more than we could have every asked for. We were married on March 9, 2013 and partied the night away at Windows On Washington. Both on the day of the reception and the time leading up to it, our band was nothing short of perfect. They were professional, courteous, and truly listened to what we wanted. They served as the MC's for the evening and took a lot of pressure off mine and my husband's shoulders. What I appreciated most was that they worked with what we wanted. For example, during my father/daughter dance we started off with a traditional slow song which led into a medley of goofy "dance" songs where we had, what we like to call, the battle of the generations. All of these songs were played via the ipod due to splicing that needed to occur. However, our last song was to be "We are Family." We wanted the band to play this as the official kick off to the party. As you could imagine this took a bit of planning but it went off perfectly! This is just one example of how our band helped to make our wedding reception amazing. What is more amazing, is that nearly 10 months later, our family and friends STILL bring up how AWESOME our band was and the accolades just keep coming! We are truly thankful we found them and would recommend them (and have a few different times) to anyone who is looking for live entertainment.
