QC Catering did an amazing job with our morning brunch-themed wedding! We worked with Jenn, and she was professional, flexible, and kind from start to finish! She helped us completely tailor our menu until it was absolutely perfect, and she and her team even accommodated my multiple dietary restrictions which was such a huge blessing! The day of the event, the QC staff was timely, attentive, and pleasant. Our wonderful bartender Blanche even helped my dad practice presenting his toast! Additionally, the food was wonderful and the presentation was simply spectacular. Their brown sugar bacon was a crowd favorite! Working with QC gave us such peace of mind, and they were an all-around wonderful vendor to work with. We are so happy and grateful we hired them!

Jennifer is truly amazing and was a pleasure to work with from the very first call to final toast. She was in constant communication, provided guidance and suggestions and helped us create the perfect wedding menu. She coordinated the rentals, set-up of the bar and placement of tables and food to create the best presentation. The food was mouth-watering, fresh, colorful and beautifully presented and the service at the event was perfection. Our guests continue to rave about it. QC Catering was more than just about the food. They were about the entire experience and about making us happy which really sets them far above the rest. We are thrilled with our experience with QC Catering, Jennifer and the rest of the QC Catering staff and cannot recommend them highly enough. Delicious! Everything about QC Catering is phenomenal! The food is incredible, and so are the people! As DJs, we get to work with dozens and dozens of caters each year and QC Catering always stands out! Can I say it again - the food is incredible! But for us as DJs, it's more than just the food - it's the collaboration in planning and the execution the day of. QC Catering is always on-point, professional and personal. We can't say enough amazing things about them!

I've used QC Catering in the past for corporate events. We had some issues with our assigned event coordinator. Thank god for Liz, the event manager. She was able to guide my parents through the wedding details and made her feel at ease. The menu was creative and delicious. The onsite team for the wedding was very service oriented and made sure my husband and I had a beverage at all times. Overall a positive catering experience. I would use them in the future.

QC Catering was such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process!! Jennifer was helpful and accommodating even when I made multiple different changes to the menu. They offer a wide variety of meals from buffet to plated options. We did the QC BBQ Picnic and it was the best barbecue we ever had!! The mac and cheese was amazing! I highly recommend them for any wedding!!

My fiancé (now husband) and I agreed food was high on the list for what was important for our wedding. Like most couples, we were also on a budget. Courtney and QCC absolutely delivered! They helped us choose a menu that was perfect for our guests and budget and we were 110% satisfied. Four months after our wedding we're still getting compliments about the food! And don't skip the tasting! Not only is the food fabulous and you're treated like royalty, the chef absolutely appreciates all feedback and gets a better idea of what you're looking for. QCC was professional and responsive - they accommodated our guests of all ages by offering an awesome kids menu (we had a buffet style reception). They also served amazing food to our vegetarian guests. Their servers were amazing and we were glad we used their bartending staff as well! Lastly, 2 bonuses we really appreciated is they served our cake and let us bring in our own alcohol.

I cannot say enough about QC Catering Company. The company was so professional, worked with my fiance (now hubby!) and I, and were so pleasant. They even gave us a to go bag of meals for us to enjoy at the hotel later on since you obviously do not get to enjoy anything during the day with so much going on! The crab dip was incredible. Guests came up to us days later and couldn't stop talking about the tilapia or our mini philly cheesesteaks! The signature drinks were a hit. Thank you QC Catering!!

Mary Kate and the Queen City team took amazing care of us during our entire process of planning. Their care, follow up, helpfulness and delicious food are second to none and I couldn't have imagined my wedding without then. Chef's food was so delicious and WOW-ed all of our guests. From the food for my bridal party getting ready to the follow up after the wedding, I could not have imaged a better caterer to have on my big day. They were some of the best money we spent to take such great care of us and make our big day UNFORGETTABLE!!!

Queen City Catering was an incredible company to work with when planning our Uptown Charlotte wedding. They were in constant communication the month leading up to the wedding finalizing every detail with us. On the day of the wedding, due to unexpected wrinkles in the plans, our decorators (who happened to be family members) were running behind with putting everything up. The QCC staff insisted on taking over and that my family members leave to enjoy the rest of the day. They did not have to do that but it really meant a lot to us that they went above and beyond to make the reception wonderful. When my husband and I arrived at the venue, QCC had food waiting for us at our table so that while our guests were going through the buffet line we could eat. All of our guests told us that the food was great! We also had single serve boxes of Dunkin' Donuts that we were going to have set out for guests as they left the reception but QCC took it upon themselves to put them on trays and walk around offering them to guests. It was a hit! Thank you, QCC, so playing such a huge role making our wedding reception run smoothly. You were all fantastic and your staff was so kind. We are so grateful for your hard work!

We utilized QCC for both our Rehearsal Dinner and Plated Reception Dinner. For the entire weekend out guests raved about how amazing the food was. We did the Carolina BBQ buffet for the rehearsal and people couldn't get enough. During the reception the food was served timely and exactly as we had planned. Most importantly, the Staff was outstanding! They were smiling and polite and quick to make sure everyone had what they needed. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and we highly recommend QCC.

Queen City Catering did a fantastic job for our daughter's wedding. The food was delicious, the staff very professional and courteous, and most importantly the coordinator, Mary Kate, was fantastic to work with. Everything was communicated clearly, they were very accommodating with special guest needs and making our end very care free. I would highly recommend their services for any affair!

My father could NOT stop raving about this food before we had booked them as our rehearsal dinner caterers. They had just recently opened a new location in Charlotte a few months back & my dad INSISTED that we go there for lunch. We went & my at the time, fiancée, LOVED the food which helped make the decision for our rehearsal dinner catering quite easy if you ask me! I kid you not when I tell you, we had our rehearsal dinner on October 2nd of 2015 & we are still hearing about how AMAZING Queen City Q catering is from all of our friends & family. This place is hands down, DELICIOUS! Great as a restaurant & fantastic as a caterer!! I would definitely cater other events through them as well!

We were so thankful that we used Queen City Catering. I won a raffle during a bridal showcase towards a catering package and I was so happy because I was already planning on using them. Mary Kate was a huge help during the planning process. She was always very thorough, informative and friendly. Their food was delicious. We also used them for a Sunday brunch and it was a hit among our guests. I would recommend QCC to anyone looking for a top notch catering service!

Our wedding was outdoors at our home on Lake Norman in Troutman.We had 70 guests and diner was served on the porch overlooking the lake. QCC set up a kitchen and made everything fresh onsite.The food was absolutely delicious. The filet blue crostini was out of this world. We choose surf & turf for dinner and it was the perfect choice. Our guests are still raving about how good the food was. QCC was wonderful to work with.True professionals! It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Queen City did an amazing job at my wedding!! They were recommended by the owner of my venue and I am so glad that I booked with them!! They went above and beyond making my day run smoothly!!! QC is a smaller company than other options in Charlotte, but that meant that they could really focus on what we wanted and how we wanted it. I really felt that my guests were well taken care of, which was my number one priority. We had a buffet and carving stations at our reception, but QC served my husband and I food personally and they also boxed up all of our leftovers (which to be honest wasn't much because the food was so delicious). We also had a special food request which Queen City did a great job of meeting! Highly recommend QC!

I will start by saying QC Catering has an amazing event staff! Everyone from front office, behind the scenes, chefs, and wait/bar staff catered to us to make our wedding run smooth. From the beginning inquiries until the wedding was done- everything was smooth, personal, and easy. They caught my attention not my bombarding me with every menu option and package, but by connecting with me first, to pin point which menu/package would best fit the needs of our vision. Shannon and her expertise really made the menu fall into place. I can be quite scatterbrained; and, she kept me honed in and on track for a balanced menu to please a large and diverse crowd. And it was a hit! The food was delisious, plentiful, and beautifully presented. Everything was more personal than I expected which created lots of trust and easy communication. I planned "myself" but I have to say Shannon really helped guide me through, and not just with the catering. The relationships and recommendations of other vendors came in handy along the way to create the perfect night!!

I used Queen City Catering for my wedding October 4th 2014. The wait staff went above and beyond to ensure myself, new husband, and all my guests had a wonderful time. We were assigned a personal server that took care of our drinks and food for the entire night. She went out of her way to even do this for our wedding party right after pictures! I truly think the value with QCC exceeds the cost. So happy we had them as a part of our wedding!

We wanted to have great food at a reasonable price and Queen City Catering far exceed our expectations. Our guests raved all night about the delicious the food!! Everyone absolutely loved it! The only thing I might have loved more than the food was working with Shannon and Mary Cate. They were amazing in every way!!!!!!

My husband and I are both in the wedding business, and I have to say that I recommend Queen City Catering to all of my clients. Choosing a caterer can be tricky business. Often times, the food on the day of the wedding can be very different than the day of the tasting, and the food at Queen City is consistent every time. One huge selling point for us was the fact that they had a mobile kitchen so everything is cooked on-site, rather than transported! Shannon and Mary Kate were so much fun to work with and they really went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect for us. We had so many compliments from everyone at the wedding about how amazing the food was. We even had a chance to try our hors d'oeuvres because they made a plate for us! I seriously look forward to every wedding that I work where Queen City is the caterer, and being a foodie, that says a lot! We could not have been happier with everything that they did for us.

We got quotes from several caterers in town and no one could match the value Queen City Catering has to offer. They were the first caterer we did a tasting with and they were our last. We were so impressed with the food that we knew we didn't need to look anywhere else! Shannon and Mary Kate were a dream team to work with. During the planning process Shannon was so helpful and always available, she was very quick and responsive to all of my emails. During our reception Mary Kate always made sure me and my grooms glasses were full and was there if we needed anything. Our guests were beyond pleased with their meals and enjoyed cocktail hour and the service they received. We highly recommend Queen City Catering!

Their food is amazing. Everything is so fresh. Their tomato BLT appetizer is the best thing I have ever had and I don't even like tomato's. The staff is so nice and helpful.

We had to find a new caterer 8 weeks before our wedding and Queen City was so friendly and accomodating in helping us out on such short notice! The food was amazing and we received so many compliments from our guests. The service was outstanding. When the bridal party arrived, there was a server with cheese and crackers and wine who had been told to stay with me, the bride, before we were introduced. I cannot say enough about the attentive service and fabulous food! I would definitely recommend Queen City to any bride and groom!

The food you get with Queen City is top notch. All of my guests were raving about the food from beginning to end. We did have some communication issue that I think really put a damper in the final weeks of planning. Many other brides at my venue had used them and I had heard similar comments about QC communication. I hope that they work on correcting those issues as they have a really great service to offer.

QCC was amazing to work with! Shannon and Mary Kate were heavily involved in all phases of the planning and asked real good questions that I never would have thought of. On the day of our wedding, the service was outstanding, way above and beyond my expectations! They immediately brought drinks and food to the wedding party when we arrived and had a dedicated server for myself and husband that brought us plates of food and drinks all night. The food was incredible and they served a signature cocktail that was a huge hit. The dessert shooters we asked for were perfect - people couldn't get enough of them! My guests were thoroughly impressed as well, they said the servers continuously brought drinks to their tables all night so they didn't have to go to the bar. I highly recommend QCC to anyone having an event!

My first experience with Queen City Catering was at a tailgate function prior to a Panther's game. The food was outstanding. When our friends Mike and Karen told us they had picked Queen City for their daughter's wedding we knew it would be outstanding. The food, service and attention to the guests was phenomenal. Andrew and his team are well organized and know how to deliver exceptional service. The food tasted as if it was prepared individually per order. Queen City Catering is simply the best.

The service we received from Queen City Catering was absolutely perfect. From our initial conversation, Shannon made the process of selecting a menu, to our tasting, and finally our reception very smooth. She had great ideas for cocktail hour to keep our guests well taken care of until the arrival of the wedding party. She patiently returned every phone call and email that I sent. One of the main things that impressed my son-in-law was the fact that at the tasting he requested no onions on his salad and when he received his food at the reception, there were no onions on his salad. That seems small, but it meant enough to him to mention it. It is that kind of detail that Queen City Catering pays attention to. Josh did a wonderful job making sure everything at the reception ran smoothly. He was very professional and very pleasant to work with. So many of our guests raved about the food. It was delicious! I have recommended them to friends and will definitely use them again when the time comes.

Queen City Catering Company provided the catering service for my daughters wedding. I had so many guests tell me that this was the best wedding they have ever attended, I agree. The food quality was high end restaurant quality. The food not only tasted exceptional, it was presented exceptionally too. The service was unbelievable and best described as swarming. This was the most professional catering company I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, from the planning to the execution. If you want the best, look no further.

Queen City Catering did an outstanding job on our wedding day. But it all started long before our wedding day. Our tasting was so personalized and it really gave us the reassurance that we were truly in the best hands. From the little sign outside with our names on it to the perfectly set table in the kitchen, we had a blast at our tasting. Shannon is such an awesome person to hash out all the details with. She helped us make our menu a perfect fit for us and our wedding day. The set up that QCC did at our cocktail hour and reception was gorgeous! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable! QC Catering catered my 9/6/13 wedding and did an amazing job! They were super quick to respond to our questions, they customized our menu to fit our wants, and the overall service was great! We used Queens City Catering for our rehearsal dinner, the wedding and the brunch the next morning. The wedding was three months ago and our guests are still talking about how fabulous the food was. In addition to great food, they were wonderful to work with!

Queen City Catering is incredible! We used them for my wedding and people are STILL talk about the amazing food, including me. I still get cravings for the appetizers and perfectly cooked short rib we had at our wedding. The sea salt rolls are also a favorite that people still talk about. I could not have been happier with the food at our wedding and can't wait til I have an excuse to use them again for something else.

QC had really yummy food for all of our guests, and Shannon was such a great person to work with there. I didn't have much contact with the servers or bartenders, but I never heard any negative comments from guests. There was a slight issue near the wedding day where we were trying to figure out pricing for the children's food. I was under the impression that kids under age 10 ate free. However, once QC found out that I had 10 kids under the age of 10, I was required to pay for them. We compromised at only paying for 5 instead. Overall, I think QC did a fabulous job, especially dealing with the distance between the house and the dining tent.

Queen City was our absolute favorite vendor mainly because they pointed us toward almost all the other vendors we used. From the moment we met Andrew we knew that we wanted Queen City to be our caterer, and actually chose our location from the list of places Queen City Catering was a preferred vendor. The food was fantastic! Everything we every tasted was unreal, and our final menu was a real hit. Queen City even made my husband's family's waffle recipe so that we could serve genuine belgian waffles! And Shannon made wedding planning as easy as possible. She pointed us toward the location we used, our photographer, our florist, and our day-of coordinator and everyone she suggested was amazing! Her great taste was a wonderful asset.

I was first introduced to QC Catering at a business lunch meeting and was impressed with their fresh, unique and delicious food offerings. When I became engaged soon after, they were the first caterer I contacted. After our first initial meeting with Shannon Cudmore, Senior Event Coordinator of QCC, we knew the search was over. QC Catering offered everything we were looking for as a caterer, and Shannon was an unexpected bonus. With Shannon as a resource they were a one stop shop, and they helped us pull together a wonderful wedding in 4 months. She connected us with all of the rest of our fantastic wedding vendors. Our guests have not stopped raving about the appetizers, food and drinks served by QC Catering. We had many of our guests tell us that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. We could not have pulled off such a great event with out Shannon and the QCC team!

QC Catering did my event a little more than a month ago and they were fabulous. It was beyond my expectation by far. The staff was very nice and the food was excellent. We did several different menu items to accommodate different diets and needs and it worked out amazingly. Their crab cakes are wonderful and potato bar is highly recommended. I would definitely use them again for any event (social, special occasion or corporate).

We worked with the awesome QC Catering crew for our 10/20/12 wedding, and could not have been happier with the entire process, and end result. From beginning to end, they worked with us to create a menu unique to us, even incorporating my love for buffalo chicken dip into the apps! When we went for our tasting a couple of months before the big day we were blown away by the food, and knew our guests would love it as well. On the night of the wedding our guests were ranting and raving about how good the food and apps were! We even had a s'mores bar, even though the groom wasn't on board at first, and everyone loved it. It was a unique addition to our wedding, and I'm so glad we did it. I would absolutely recommend QC to anyone looking for catering services, and hope our paths cross again in the future! They were so accommodating and made sure the day went off without a hitch.

Andrew and his crew were awesome! Andrew and I clicked from the beginning. The best part about QCC is that they actually listen to what the bride and groom want. They asked very detailed questions which made it easy for them to capture everything we wanted. They were very honest, easy to work with, and the best thing was the fact that they didnt nickle and dime you. We not only used them for our wedding, but they provided food for the rehearsal dinner, reception, and sunday brunch. The food was excellent! I cant wait for our next big event, so we can get them to cater for us again!

Queen City Catering sold me the very first time I met them at an introductory meeting, (and not because they laid out freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, which happen to be my favorite). But because,Andrew has such a passion for his food, as well as providing excellent customer service to really go above and beyond to make his clients happy. QCC also allowed us to come later in the day for a tasting, as they normally do them mid-afternoon, and my fiance's work schedule wouldn't allow him to come earlier. They accommodated every request and change with a smile throughout the whole process. As a bride who wanted something out of the norm, and different from the standard wedding menu, I feel Andrew really brought some fresh and new ideas to the table when it was time to plan a menu. My fiance and I also decided to have QCC cater our rehearsal dinner as well, where they knocked the ball out of the park for that menu as well, with an amazing mexican themed buffet. HOLY SMOKES it was DELICIOUS! We couldn't have asked for better food, or service. Both nights, rehearsal and wedding, the food was amazing! Everything was beautifully displayed, and just delicious. QCC staff was so polite and friendly with us and our guests. Our guests are still raving, not about how beautiful the bride was, but how amazing the food and service was. I will always suggest Queen City Catering to anyone who may need catering services,...and hope that we get to work together again!!

We used QC Catering for our wedding reception. Prior to meeting with them, we were impressed by the prices, which were extremely reasonable and within our budget. Whenwe met with QC for our tasting, we were warmly greeted and immediately put at ease. Andrew and the rest of the team had the food prepared for us, which we absolutely loved! They were easy to communicate with leading up to our big event and very cooperative. The food tasted just as good as when we initially met with them, and just about all of the guests in attendance commented on how wonderful the food and desserts were, we could not be more satisfied. The staff was very kind and made sure we were pleased with everything. I highly recommend QC Catering, and if a catering need arises in the future, they will be the first company I reach out to. My now husband and I have been to our fair share of weddings, being the last of our groups of friends to get married- and we knew we wanted to do something totally different than the standard 'chicken or steak' bland options you always get. BUT we were on a budget...QC caterers couldn't have been more perfect! Not only did they have fantastic food options, which are all amazing, they are super easy to work with and work within your budget. We were able to do so much more with them than other caterers that we received quotes from. We received numerous comments and compliments on our food at the reception! Andrew and his crew were very professional and cleaned up everything afterwards, which was one less thing I had to worry about. I would recommend QC caterers any day of the week!

I hired QC Catering for my wedding reception. They were very helpful in working with me to stay within my budget. The food was delicious and the display was beautiful. The food tastes amazing. The crab cakes melt in your mouth. Andrew the owner is very friendly and follows up on things in a timely manner. You won't be disappointed in the service or the quality of the food!
