Let me start with the good… My wedding was beautiful. We had to change the wedding to indoors last minute due to the weather. We were able to make it work. The food was better than your average wedding food. The servers were amazing and beyond helpful.
The part I'm struggling with is the behind-the-scene things. Towards the end, I would email my rep and not get a response back for days or ever. When I would show up to the office I would work with someone else who would be willing to help me and accommodate me more than my rep. When we needed questions answered we emailed and emailed and got nowhere. A third party had to step in. On the day of the wedding, we reminded them about the glass waterfall in the room that needed to be turned on, via email. It was never turned on. We rented a tripod and it was not provided we had to go on the hunt for one. The lights that were supposed to be off were left on (we finally got the grounds crew to help us turn them off). We signed our contract BEFORE the construction started and were guaranteed it would be done by our wedding date. Guess what!?! It wasn't.
Although Quiet Cannon can be a beautiful place to have a wedding I would definitely reconsider having my wedding there. For the amount of money we paid, we should have been completely happy and satisfied. We were not.
After researching numerous venues, we came across Quiet Cannon and fell in love. The venue offers beautiful views, reasonable prices, two hotels on-site, plentiful free parking, and bilingual coordinators who were always helpful and made time for us whenever we needed it. The various packages were easy to understand, and we never felt like they tried to hit us with hidden fees or upsells. Additionally, we attended two Quiet Cannon wedding expos that really helped us gain clarity about what we wanted for our big day--we highly recommend attending those! The complimentary junior suite for our wedding night at the Hilton Garden Inn was gorgeous, and our Hansen’s Cake, which came with the package, was beautiful and delicious.
We worked throughout our engagement with Iliana, who is incredible. She is SO patient, kind, organized, available, and honest. She’s a wonderful listener, and she interacted with us like a friend rather than a salesperson. She remembered our names even when we bumped into her unexpectedly, and she worked seamlessly with our day-of coordinator when we handed off communication close to the big day. She even checked in on us during the ceremony, which was such a sweet gesture. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide throughout our engagement and wedding celebration!
This is a hidden gem in LA area! Great prices and and their packages come with a lot. Beautiful venue both ceremony area and reception area! Most bang for your buck!
I was really disappointed with the service on my wedding day at the Quiet Cannon . First my appetizers had pineapple, Jay and I explained numerous times that I’m deathly allergic. My guest were even offended because they know how allergic I am, no one even wanted to eat them in fear that they might touch me or kiss me so that was money we WAISTED, the rod from the gazebo was never replaced so there was a gap in the curtains, I explained how Important it was to me that my guest had HOT food, the dinner was NOT hot, the vegetables were hard, My cake was hacked into by the servers , Idk why you guys charge 100.00 for a cake cutting service when the cake slices look horrible, the staff was not friendly, I’m really embarrassed at the stories that I’m being told by our guest when it comes to the food and the service that was provided by Quiet Cannon ESPECIALLY because I’ve talked you guys up so much and I was so excited to have my wedding there. The best thing, THE ONLY THING about our wedding day at the Quiet Cannon were our decorations and that had NOTHING to do with Quiet Cannon. Jay said that the speaker wasn’t working so he (THE GROOM) had to fix the issue with the speaker that was provided to us BY QUIET CANNON. I also Wish I would have known that our “Congratulations “ of tying the knot you attempted to display would be shared with 5-10 other Ads. Jay and I were excited about seeing the sign so we drove out to Jack in the box to see it, little did we know we’d have to PARK our car and wait for our 3 second display to come back around in the rotation of numerous Ads. I mean I could go on and on about our disappointments, We really regret having our special day at Quiet Cannon, there are so many things that I let slide and so many times I’ve tried to defend Quiet Cannon but now I see I gave too much credit where it wasn’t deserved. I will NEVER recommend this establishment to my worst enemy let alone anyone else. I feel Like you all had one job, ONE JOB (ESPECIALLY YOU) and that was to deliver as you promised and you couldn’t even do that , on someone’s WEDDING DAY!! There are no do overs! All you guys care about is the money. It’s really sad and you don’t care. I think that fact that you guys even service or hold weddings at this establishment is HEARTLESS and I will do my best to keep anyone else from making the choice that Jay and I made by trusting Quiet Cannon if I’m ever asked about out experience.(I’ve been asked 5 times already) The bride before me was unhappy with her service as well, she’s been encouraged to write a review, my guest have been encouraged also, but don’t worry too much there might have been a handful of people in attendance who don’t know good quality ; I just asked that they be honest about their experience. Also, I’ve been conducting business with you for over A YEAR Marina and I didn’t see you once on my wedding day, and you were working that day. You’ve expressed your gratitude many times of how sweet and pleasant I’ve been to you and you couldn’t even take 5 minutes to check on the bride or groom to see if everything was ok??!! I guess that’s because you already have your .
Emailed them three weeks ago and they still haven’t emailed back. How can they do business when there’s no communication? Moving on!
Went to inquire but they seemed cold and rude. Like most other brides, I am new at this stuff and would appreciate just a little guidance, but please, don't treat me like an idiot. They seemed like robots with robotic answers. They weren't flexible with my needs. THEY STRAIGHT OUT JUST DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU. I wish they had better customer service. I truly wanted my wedding there but I am afraid that my wedding day would be unpleasant in their hands....
It was very affordable but the person that i was dealing with did not know what was going on. I had to keep calling her and following up because she seemed "too busy" 2 weeks before my wedding she no longer worked there. There was no transition to the next person, I just couldn't find her one day.
We booked the Cannoneer Room at the Quiet Cannon because the room was beautiful with an amazing view (windows from floor to ceiling) for a really affordable price. We were extremely happy to book and didn't really have any issues with planning and booking. However, not being able to set up our reception until 2 hours before the reception time was EXTREMELY difficult to work around. We weren't allowed to set up until 5 p.m., which is when our ceremony started. To make a long story short, friends and family had to rush over after the ceremony to scramble to set everything up. There was no on-site coordinator to help with anything (which we were promised) which meant family members running into the kitchen to find ANY kind of assistance. Throughout the night, the lights kept mysteriously turning on and off and no one from the venue was taking charge of it. Our table numbers were also taken by the staff, and they tried to take some platters that we brought. Overall, we loved the room and the food was amazing, but the staff was not there to try and make our day easy...that's for sure.
Quiet Cannon is a lovely place to get married, only thing was that on the rehearsal night, they don't have anyone to tell you what to do or where to go. You show up, and you're on your own...and since this was my first wedding, I didn't know what to do. Also, if you and your bridal party need somewhere to get ready, stay at the Hilton next door...steps away and was really nice.
I had wanted to have our reception outside, but the cost quickly turned out to be prohibitive. So I started looking at ballrooms with at least some outside space. The Newmark Room at Quiet Cannon has a huge balcony with a lovely view over the golf course and toward the mountains, as well as lots of green space (and a random monument) for photos. And, for less than the cost of the most basic package everywhere else (usually just dinner-cake-champagne toast-dance floor) we also got wine with dinner, a keg of beer, a suite at the hotel next door for the bride and groom, AND service charge and tax included! Also, as mentioned, there is a Hilton Garden Inn attached to the banquet facility, which made it extremely convenient for all of our guests coming from out of town.
