We are a same sex and interracial couple. Both Jews in different ways (atheist Jew by birth and religious Jew by choice). Rabbi Chalom did a wonderful job helping us balance our needs and wants versus our families and traditions! Cannot recommend him enough!
Rabbi Chalom was extremely supportive and professional. We are so grateful for his incredible services! He officiated both our ketubah signing as well as our larger wedding ceremony. From the beginning of the planning process, he helped give us a framework (which he suggested we could tweak as we wanted) and also accommodated all of our different ideas that reflected our personalities/families/cultural backgrounds. His remarks day-of were beautiful and memorable. We will always be grateful he was a part of our special day!
Adam did such an incredible job officiating our wedding - I grew up at Kol Hadash Humanistic Congregation, and having someone who has known me most of my life guiding us through this process was so special. He was so helpful every step of the way as we put together a ceremony that represented who we are and what we believe as queer, secular Jews. We feel so lucky to have had Adam with us for the most beautiful moment of our lives, and we cannot recommend him highly enough!
Rabbi Adam Chalom was truly a pleasure to work with! As an intercultural couple (Jewish and Mexican), we wanted to find an officiant who would be able to consider our diverse cultural traditions and secular beliefs. Rabbi Chalom is kind, compassionate, and truly passionate about bringing together different faiths and cultures in meaningful ways. He listened to our wants throughout our consultation sessions and collaborated with our Reverend to create a beautiful, intercultural Jewish-Mexican ceremony. He was dedicated to carefully integrating both Jewish and Mexican traditions (the tallis, las arras and el lazo, breaking of the glass etc). Best of all, he is trilingual! His integration of these important customs and his ability to switch between languages was absolutely seamless. We cannot recommend Rabbi Chalom enough!
My wife and I cannot recommend Rabbi Adam Chalom highly enough. He was very accommodating during the planning process and easily accessible for any questions we had. Truly a calming voice throughout all the chaos that wedding planning can become! Rabbi Chalom paid close attention to detail and made sure we were in good shape leading up to our wedding date. We were thoroughly impressed with Rabbi Chalom while he conducting the ketubah signing and ceremony. Our parents loved him too!
My husband and I highly recommend Rabbi Adam Chalom. We are an interfaith couple and planned a Jewish wedding - Rabbi Adam Chalom listened to our wants, and even had wonderful ideas of his own to contribute to make the ceremony personal. He was always available to skype and meet when needed, and was present and involved the day of. We heard countless times that our ceremony was one of the best they had been to, and that it in large party thanks to Rabbi Adam Chalom!
Rabbi Adam Chalom was wonderful. He was very easy to work with and really paid attention to what we said and wanted. Both my groom and I endorse!
