Rachael Ellen Events is a MUST for your dream wedding day! She created and executed the most perfect day for me and my nearest and dearest. I still get complements years later that it was one of the best weddings guest had ever been to-and I owe it all to her! I loved working with her every step of the way! She made the overwhelming start of planning such a breeze. She had an amazing and natural eye to make a stunning, one of a kind event. The florals she and her team created for me were gorgeous! One of my absolute favorite parts of the day. She went above and beyond to make me truly feel like a Queen. I appreciate her and her wonderful team for all they did!! And the wonderful vendors she helped pick to bring the dream together. Thank you Rachael Ellen Events!!!

We absolutely loved Rachael Ellen Events! Years after our wedding and we still have friends and family compliment our wedding day in it’s perfection. From the planning process to our flawless wedding day, from the flowers to the Rachael Ellen Team, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Rachael was very hands on in our design and professional at guiding the process and aiding us in the overall design experience. The florals were exactly what we had envisioned and more. She made our winter wedding a magical way to start the year and a stress free day we will never forget.

I wish I could give Rachael Ellen Events zero stars if I could. To start off, I never met Rachael in person. During our phone consultation, she promised meeting us in person at some point (she is in UT and we are in WA), doing an in-person venue walkthrough, as well as being there on the day of the event. She ended up double-booking the day, so she could be at another event personally. Rachael's team never came to do a venue visit or meet us in person before the wedding. When we are told that we won’t meet in person, they won’t come for a visit, AND Rachael won’t personally be at our wedding, it was already too late to switch - so we just hoped for the best. Little did we know it was just the start of our disastrous journey with this company. To spare everyone the unnecessary details, I am going to try to summarize their top 3 mistakes (out of perhaps 20+): 1. Rachael sent one assistant and two interns to our wedding , who are complete strangers to us and we've never talked to them before. All the while Rachael is at another wedding and bragging on social media about pulling off two weddings at the same time. 2. The assistants FORGOT to bring my arch. YES, COMPLETELY FORGOT. The worst part? They LIED about it to me afterwards. I confronted Rachael after the wedding why my arch is COMPLETELY different from what we had discussed, Rachael said that her assistants “made a design change on the spot” because “they think the venue is too small”. WHO MAKES A DESIGN CHANGE on the wedding day WITHOUT the couple’s consent? And isn’t that why a venue visit beforehand is necessary? The venue is on acres of winery, what do you mean by SMALL? I was completely baffled and heartbroken, because the arch they installed is SO ugly and different from my original vision. Two years later, I went back to our wedding venue to celebrate our anniversary, and saw the exact same arch lying in the backyard of the venue. I asked the owner whether that’s our arch and the planners just forgot to take it away? The venue owner was so surprised and said “they didn’t tell you? They forgot to bring your arch and had to use this spare we had in our backyard!” We were SHOCKED and left speechless. I cannot believe this company not only made an unacceptable mistake for a wedding day, but also had the audacity to LIE to their clients about it afterwards. What an unreliable, untrustworthy, and unbelievably unethical business it is! 3. Other than the arch design, all the florals (which Rachael’s assistants did) all looked half dead, by the time I saw them for the first time. It was barely 80F, without any direct sun on that day (it was cloudy), yet Rachael told me “it was the summer heat” that caused the flowers to wilt early. I can barely believe it. We’ve been to so many weddings and have NEVER seen flowers so wilted in the very beginning of the day. Yes, Rachael has beautiful editorial images all over her social media and website, but I would strongly advise that you look beyond the beautiful models and luxury European architectures in her portfolio that probably won’t be part of your own wedding, and hope for the best if she will actually be at your event. We spent nearly 6 figures on our wedding, and while it was a beautiful celebration with our loved ones, we ended up with such terrible decors, flowers, and service in general. It’s been over 3 years and there’s not a day that goes by where I don’t regret hiring Rachael Ellen Event for our wedding.
