Raffael's at the South Shore Country Club

ankle was extremely swollen. I had been warned that we wouldn't eat much at our wedding reception by many brides/grooms but upon arriving at the country club I was offered food while waiting to take pictures and enjoyed every course for the rest of the evening, seated (which I really needed for my ankle). I was shocked that in spite of warnings I was enjoying a relaxing, fun reception in the same way my guests were thanks to Raffael's. In addition, Terese ensured that everything went according to our plans and made sure I had plenty of ice, or anything I needed including a golf cart, for my ankle as the day progressed. They provided us with exceptional service and were always organized and easy to communicate with. Their food is delicious and everything looked beautiful! They decorated for us and helped collect the decorations afterward as well. Everything they did was appreciated and perfect. I cannot recommend them enough!

eception at the same location) and I wanted good scenery for outside photos. Raffael’s at South Shore Country Club delivered on everything! It is such a beautiful venue and the staff is fantastic! They offer an incredible value as a venue and went out of their way to provide services for us that other venues would have charged an arm and a leg for. I hear from someone new everyday how incredible the food was and how great the staff were – that is was the best wedding they have ever been to. Terese was extremely helpful throughout the planning of the event and the day itself. I really couldn’t have pulled this wedding together without her! She is one of the most organized, professional and creative people I have ever had the pleasure to work with! Terese made every detail of our wedding exactly as we wanted, and she even surpassed our expectations. She is a joy to work with and very reasonable. She allows you to customize your wedding according to your budget. I can’t say enough good things about her! She made our wedding ceremony so easy and stress free. Absolutely no complaints at all, they made for a smooth and successful event at a great price.

er modern and nice with wall of windows so you dont feel shut off from the outside. The tent pavillion was absoultely the perfect spot for my cermemony. Terese was such an amazing planner especially towards the end when I fifty million questions and started changing everything. She was really on point. I did serious research before settling on a venue and for a fact there is no better value out there. I highly recommend Raffael's.

es and a beautiful view of the golf course. The people at SSCC (Terese in particular, she was our wedding coordinator) were very easy to work with, and were very communicative. We emailed back and forth and met many times to tie up loose ends. The place looked beautiful on our wedding day. The only downsides: Some of our guests complained that the steak was slightly rare, so make sure that you let them know exactly how you would like the steaks to be cooked. Also, the bows on the chairs didn't really match our color theme, so make sure you get to see the color first when choosing your table linens. Additionally, some of our family members said that the staff was slightly rude (had a little bit of an attitude, wouldn't let them back into the ballroom to get forgotten items once the wedding was over, etc.) However, they had been working a large wedding for many hours so maybe they were entitled! Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend South Shore Country Club!

wanted it(my florist, videographer, photographers, family & friends said the same about her as well). Frank and the rest of the staff were amazing as well!! The food was fantastic and the Hingham Ballroom I fell in love with from the first time I walked in the doors. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I want to get married again just to work with them, haha. I hope they read this and if they do THANK YOU!!!!!! xo -Ashlee

terrified. Terese, the new planner, was amazing. She dotted every i, crossed every t, and we had such a great time at our reception that we extended it another hour which they were very accommodating about. Staff was wonderful too!
