dding and loved the wedding planner. She left to pursue another career and another woman was promoted to be her replacement. We had some issues with communication and trying to set up a private tasting with the second planner. She left and a third planner was hired, who was awesome to work with. She is still the current planner and is very organized and comes with wedding planning experience. I wish we had been able to work with her all along as that would have made the planning process much smoother. Some things I think Ragged could improve on was the staffing for the wedding day and the ceremony seating. We had a made to order pasta station that was delicious but took a really long time to serve. I felt it could have gone a lot quicker had there been more staff cooking the pasta. Second is we had some issues with seating for our ceremony. There are wooden benches at the meadows ceremony site that seat 80 people. We had roughly 180 guests so we needed to rent an additional 100 chairs to seat everyone. The chair rental company would only deliver according to their delivery schedule so it was possible the chairs would sit outside for several days between drop off and pick up. These were nice wooden chairs and I was worried about rain as I would be liable if the chairs were damaged. Ragged was unwilling to store the chairs inside for us. I went back and forth with the chair rental company and Ragged several times trying to find a solution and I felt that was not something I should have to be worry about a week before my wedding. The other piece is Ragged didn't include set up or break down of the chairs so our parents had to do that before and after the ceremony. It ended up working out but my feelings were that 1) With Ragged being a venue holding weddings of up to 200 people, they should include seating for 200 people at the ceremony and 2) Set up and take down of chairs should be included in the venue fee. These were the two areas that we felt could have been better but overall we had a good experience. What really matters is the day of, and our wedding day was amazing. I also think very highly of the current wedding planner and I would recommend Ragged to a friend.

g day was Meghan Welte and she was amazing. She met with us right away to go over everything and honored what we were promised with the previous two coordinators. She was so helpful throughout the whole process, was very responsive in our communication through email and phone, and made our dream wedding everything we had hoped for. We got married at the Meadows with the backdrop of the mountains and it was absolutely beautiful. We had our reception at the lodge and it was everything we had hoped for. The food was amazing and the staff was great and very helpful. Would highly recommend to get married here!

panicking at one point, especially when that coordinator left. However, their new coordinator, Meghan Welte stepped right in and we really couldn't have been happier. She put me at ease, was so super responsive, and available to meet when I needed. She would answer questions and help me make tiny tweeks in the contract/menu to help serve our budget and needs. She was very creative with our appetizers and ended up helping us get something unique but all of my husband's favorite foods without even realizing it! I literally had not one worry on my wedding day- she covered it all and I never felt like something was out of place or not getting done when it needed to. It is so nice to be worry free. As for the service and space that Ragged offers, I am beyond thrilled. The prices were super reasonable and the food was amazing. It was so nice to have a "barn"like feel but not the price tag (and not have to worry about bringing all of your own tables, chairs, linens, servers etc in.) The ceremony spot on the Meadows was absolutely beautiful, and I have to say that I have never been to a more beautiful location (maybe I'm biased!) With the way everything is set up now, I would definitely recommend Ragged to get married. The only reason I didn't give it all 5's was because of my negative beginning experience, but with the team they have now- you need to check it out!

new coordinator, Samantha, just a few weeks before the wedding. Samantha is absolutely amazing! She stepped right up and made our day perfect. The ceremony site is gorgeous, the lodge was beautiful all decorated, and the food was delicious. All of our guests had a great time and most said it was the best wedding they have been to!

nd answered my many questions before hand and made sure everything went smoothly the day of so I didn't have to worry about a thing! We had our reception in the red barn, and the staff had everything already set up for us on Friday so we could come to decorate. Ragged was very accommodating to all our requests. There is a great patio and lawn for the cocktail hour, and the staff brought my husband and me a plate of hors d'oeuvres to enjoy alone before we made our grand entrance to the reception. We got so many rave reviews about the food, especially the deviled eggs and sirloin steak. The bartender and drinks were delicious. The patio area also has a fire pit that we used later on in the night to make s'mores! The whole venue and staff here are amazing. Thanks Ragged, for making our day perfect!

the barn was very spacious for dinner and dancing. The food was fresh and delicious and dinner was served timely. It was a pleasure dealing with Emma and chef Justin; they went over and above to make our daughter's day special. I just cannot say enough! There is not one thing I can come up with that could have/should have been different. We also rented the Inn for the bridal party and family; it was a perfect place to gather and while the girls were all getting prepared before the wedding, the guys hung out on the grounds and played yard games. The inn keeper, Patrick was so accommodating to our wishes/needs. The breakfast he prepared was delicious and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. Again, I could go on and on about how wonderful it all was! We are so glad we used Ragged Mountain for our daughter's special day!

We got so many compliments from our friends and family about how beautiful the venue was! Emma, the wedding coordinator, was AMAZING. She remembered every little request I had and made the the whole process and day so smoothly. She is the main reason the wedding was incredible! The price is very reasonable, and the lodging for the guests at the cardigan cabins and inn are great options for the bridal party and guests. I would definitely recommend this venue and service!
