Despite the fact that we are unable to travel from Florida to have our wedding in Vermont due to a pandemic, Rain or Shine Tent and Events seems to think it is entitled to keep our...
full security deposit of almost $4,500 simply because they "secured" our date in their calendar. Be careful who you work with - they may end up stealing your money!
We worked with Rain or Shine for our wedding on 10/5/19. Pete was incredibly responsive. He is clearly a professional and made sure everything worked for our tent from the heatin...
g to making sure that our band had sufficient power. The rental equipment was in great condition and our tent was essentially perfect.
Judy from Rain or Shine was incredibly patient, flexible, and attentive when helping my husband and I to plan for our wedding. She gave us pragmatic advice when selecting options t...

Perry, Pete, and the entire team at Rain or Shine were incredible. From the first site visit, working with Rain or Shine has been a pleasure. We had easy communication and flexibil...
ity throughout the planning process, and they went above and beyond when it came to the big day. The week before our wedding, we received over 5 inches of rain and our venue site was so so soggy. The day of set-up, Perry came by early to assess and helped us tweak our placement plan to make it work with what we had in terms of usable space. All of the rental items were beautiful and the sailcloth tent was more wonderful than we could have imagined. Thank you again to the whole team for making our wedding day so spectacular!
Pete and team were great to work with! There must have been 20 versions of the order form by the end due to all of my requests, changes, etc. and they were so accommodating and fl...
exible. A few days before the wedding our forecast was iffy and Pete was able to coordinate a beautiful clear top tent for our outdoor cocktail hour which was beautiful regardless of rain or shine! The security of knowing we had this made the few days leading up to the wedding worry free. The lighting under our reception tent is something I will never forget and only complimented the natural beauty of our Green Mountain surrounding. We would absolutely recommend Rain or Shine for any and all of your event rental needs:)
Rain or Shine was amazing! They were super responsive, communicative, and professional. They were able to provide us with all the rental equipment we wanted: a beautiful tent, chai...
rs and tables for the reception, bars and adirondack chairs for the cocktail hour, fire pits and a tent heater for the night, and chairs for our ceremony. We hosted our wedding at my parents house in a open field that was uneven, and they worked with us for a year to help get the land ready for the wedding. They were able to give us much needed advice on where the tent and chairs should be placed, but also listened to and fully accommodated our preferences. They took exact measures and pictures of the land so that when other vendors had questions about the tent, we could answer them in detail. We can't recommend them highly enough!
We used Rain or Shine for our recent wedding in Vermont. They were highly recommended by many of our other vendors, and they had custom lighting and bar for our venue. Everything w...
e rented from them looked great, and they were even able to get the chairs we wanted from a related company in another state. Everything was as expected and promised.
That being said, communication was a big issue. We (both of us and our planner) would have to follow up repeatedly on emails to get responses, even calling to follow up in order to get a response. Also, due to the technical difficulty of the lighting set up, they regularly install the lights and deliver a day early (on Friday), which really surprised us when we arrived at the venue on Friday afternoon. The welcome dinner and Saturday breakfast both took place in the reception venue, so the decor and chairs for the reception were already there, sort of spoiling the surprise for the guests for the actual wedding. When I followed up after asking about it, they explained why, and it totally made sense, but I really wish that had been conveyed ahead of time so we weren't caught off guard.
Rain or Shine provided the sailcloth tent, country chairs and farmhouse table for our August 22, 2015 wedding in Woodstock, VT. Everything was beautiful. The chairs especially were...

My spouse and I planned our Vermont wedding from California, and Rain or Shine made it so easy to get exactly what we wanted! Pete and Mary were easy to work with, prompt with thei...
r communications, and delivered on exactly what we envisioned for our reception. They have an extensive selection of tables and chairs for every taste. Everything we ordered was delivered and set up according to our specifications, and we had absolutely no problems. We could not be happier!
