We had Meredith as our day of coordinator for our wedding in April 2024 and it was the best decision we made for our wedding! She was so helpful with answering all of our questions leading up to and on the day of our wedding. She set up all of our decor for the reception and it turned out absolutely beautiful! She kept everything running smoothly the entire day- from handling any issues that arose, to communicating with vendors, and to ensuring that me and my husband had drinks in our hands! I was nervous hiring a day of coordinator since they do so much the day of and I wanted to ensure things ran smoothly and I am beyond thankful we worked with Meredith at Rain and would recommend her to anyone!!

If anyone is looking for a day or coordinator look no further! I had double whammy's on my wedding day. I got pink eye the day before, my brother had a black eye, my sister ended up in the hospital the day before... but Meredith calmed my nerves and made sure I had everything I needed, including some laughs, to get me through one of the most stressful days of my life! She calmed my nerves in every way and if I could get married and relive my wedding day every day for the rest of my life I would make sure she was by my side! Thank you so much Meredith!

If we could give more stars we would. We were able to work with Meredith after our initial coordinator (from another company) had to quit 3 weeks before the wedding. We felt like Meredith had been with us the whole planning period. There was never a "I can't do that" "it's not gonna work" etc from Meredoth. She made it work. She was unnoticeable as she maneuvered around the venue making sure everything was set and more importantly that my wife and I were happy, checking in on guests too, to make sure no questions or problems were brought to us. Throughout the night she would ask if we needed anything (drinks, food, etc.). She truly made us feel no stress the entire day. She was the ideal Day of Coordinator. 100% would recommend.

Meredith was INCREDIBLE! We are so glad we found her - we booked Meredith as a day-of coordinator, and she went so far above and beyond. When I think about everything she managed for us so that we didn’t have to worry during the rehearsal or the wedding day, I am blown away. I can’t recommend and thank Meredith enough!

Absolutely perfect! Everything about Rain was 10/10. Meredith was so professional and was so quick to respond back/contact when needed. Rachel (our wedding day coordinator) was seriously a life saver. Our day would not have been possible without her, honestly the best money we spent. Our bartenders were so fun and attentive, they did an excellent job! It really seemed like they were having a good time! We 100% recommend Rain, they will not disappoint!

Rain Events was phenomenal. We opted to supply all the alcohol, mixes, garnishes and they brought a cooler, ice for the bar, cups and any tools they'd need. Getting them booked was quick, easy and straightforward. They helped make sure we had what we needed and they knew what they needed. We got Alyssa as our bar tender and she surpassed all expectations. We tried to organize the bar as best we could (which probably wasn't great) but she came early and settled in and was so kind and patient with everything. She was professional but warm and inviting. I was nervous things weren't setup well, but you'd never have guessed there was any doubt. It all came together seamlessly once she got there. She definitely knew what she was doing, didn't need us for much but was communicative and respectful when she did. Our guests loved her! She was so funny, sweet, and friendly - honestly, she felt like a guest by the end of the night. She was responsible with her pours while keeping everyone happy and having a good time. She managed our group so well. Our venue allowed shots, and I was getting annoyed myself with how groups would form/grow when shots were called, but Alyssa never showed any bit of that herself. She was cheerful, kind, patient with everyone throughout the whole night. Rain Events knows what they're doing and has amazing staff. Alyssa, specifically, was just incredible. I don't know what else to say. If we ever host another event in need of a bar tender, we will certainly use Rain and request Alyssa!

Meredith is exceptional! She was highly recommended by one of my friends and her work was beyond expectations. (And I have extremely high expectations!!) I hired her for the final month with emphasis on the wedding day. Meredith began contacting my daughter and me many months in advance with zoom calls. Who does that? Who takes the time to begin the work before they officially get paid?!? Meredith does!! She provided us with information & details I would never have thought of when planning the wedding. She was always there to answer my questions quickly & if she didn’t know the answer she found the answer! Everything was so personal you’d never know she had many events going on at the same time! Meredith put out fires with charm & grace. She took such good care of us that that on the day of the wedding we could be in the moment without any worries My daughter was so calm all day. She kept saying I know I have people taking care of me and all the details, I can simply enjoy my day. Isn’t that the goal? We cannot recommend Meredith highly enough!!!!

My wife and I hired Meredith as our day of coordinator, not knowing she owned Rain bartending. A couple days later we asked for a phone call from Rain and low and behold it was Meredith giving us a call! We were cracking up on how all of this worked out! We can not give enough praise to Meredith and Rain! Meredith goes way beyond the call of duty as a “day of” coordinator! Many phone calls before the wedding and she did so much before the wedding for us. We had Matt and a Doug as our bartenders and they were amazing as well. My wife and I always had a drink in our hands. All of our guests praised them as well. They busted their butts and had a smile on their face the whole day. We have gained a great friendship with Meredith still to this day! We will have no hesitation on hiring Meredith and or Rain Bartending for our next event.

Meredith was our bartender for our wedding and she was amazing!! I was able to call her and she gave me the wholeee run down for what to supply the bar with (we got the package where we buy the drinks and mixers.) She came totally prepared though, with her bar kit, ice, cups, napkins, straws, etc. I thought we only had enough ingredients to make one batch of sangria but she was somehow able to make two more batches!! Everyoneee loved it so I was so happy that everyone got to try it numerous times. She was so lovely and professional!

We had Meredith and her special guest Kade at our Halloween party. She was INCREDIBLE. She literally brought everything and was so prepared! Please use her at whatever event you’re planning! It’s easily the best decision we made.

We hired Meredith as our day of coordinator for our wedding! She was absolutely wonderful and quite easily the best investment we could’ve made for our big day. Meredith did way more than expected! She was there even before the wedding day answering my crazy questions, sending me a timeline, giving me advice. On our wedding day she took care of LITERALLY everything. She decorated, put appetizers out, made sure everything ran smooth, helped pack up at the end of the night, and a million other things! I would recommend Meredith 100%!! If you don’t hire her as your day of coordinator you are truly missing out.

We hired Rain Bartending for our son’s wedding. The whole process was very simple. She touched base with us the week before to make sure we were still on track and if she could help in any way. The day of the wedding, she was early and organized. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. Meredith was fantastic. We would absolutely use her again.

We hired Meredith and her team for our 10/1/21 wedding at Running Horse Farm. We live across the country, so you can imagine the kind of stress that puts on a bride trying to plan a wedding from afar. With Meredith, it was so easy and not stressful! I will break this down by various topics as we hired her for bartending and event management: Event Management: Meredith was in contact with us from the day we booked. We had a difficult schedule, only being in town during the holidays or random weekends leading up until the wedding but she was so flexible with us, even driving out of her way to meet with us for coffee to start planning the day. (This was in december too, nearly 10 months in advance). As the day got closer, she was available for check ins, etc. and made plenty of attempts to contact, email, etc. just to make sure we were comfortable. A few weeks before the day, she ran through everything with a fine tooth comb for us. On the day of, she was a lifesaver. She thought of things we didn't even think of, figured out a beautiful set up near the altar when we struggled, etc. She kept everyone on their toes and moving during both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding day. We even decided a last minute change in order and she helped us figure out the best possible way to do so without things getting too crazy. As a person, I am not super decisive and more of a go with the crowd type, but she made sure to be my advocate in times of need if things got overwhelming. More importantly, she's not just your planner or your Coordinator, she is your friend and wants your day to be exactly how you want it. Bartending: Meredith helped us determine #s for alcohol per our amount of guests, recommended how we could buy it the best, etc. so it made the process of filling the bar easy. Our bartenders from Rain were Doug and Karen and I have heard from several people that the the drinks were great! They were kind and liked to talk to our guests! Bartenders showed up early and kept the party moving from Cocktail hour until it was closing time! Good transition from the outdoor bar area where our cocktail hour was to the upstairs reception. We paid for tear down assistance as well and I am so glad we did (my husband ended up getting sick at the end of the night and we ended up leaving right as things were dying down, so I am so glad we had this back up / support). All in all, hiring Rain for our day was a great decision. Meredith's prices were very affordable and she will help your day run smoothly and stress free!

All communication with Rain Bartending was great up until the day of our wedding. I really thought I'd be able to give this company 5 stars when I hired them, but after much contemplation over the last week after our wedding, I just can't. We hired 2 bartenders that were paid in full prior to our wedding and they showed up to our event 3.5 hours late. I initially realized that the bartenders didn't show up about 30 minutes before our ceremony when guests were looking for beverages on the 90 degree afternoon. At this point they were already an hour late so something told me right then and there that they skipped out on our wedding and most likely weren't coming. Unfortunately that assumption was correct. The lack of bartenders obviously made me panic as the bride, but the fact that they had excuse after excuse as to why they weren't there made it so much worse. After numerous attempts to contact them by my bridal party, my guests, my officiant and even the venue owners, we were constantly being told the bartenders would arrive in a few minutes and then we were told that they weren't coming at all. This went on for hours. It was pathetic, embarrassing and an all around poor business practice. Rain Bartending eventually decided to show up after cocktail hour during dinner where they were immediately fired on the spot. If they couldn't fulfill their contract of bartending my wedding and showing up on time, I certainly didn't want them sticking around to serve our guests. The only positive characteristics of this company are that I was promptly given a refund and the owner is polite and apologetic, but that does not make up for the fact that this company ruined our wedding. Our guests serving themselves is not at all what we had in mind for our big day and unfortunately it's a day that we are unable to relive. 

We used Meredith as a Day-Of-Coordinator for our 9-10-16 wedding. Meredith was a "God-send" as my mother referred to her. From first outlining the timeline of events for the day prior to the big day to cleaning up and packing up the cars at the end of the night, she helped our day run smoothly. My now-husband was skeptical and didn't think we'd need to hire a coordinator, but he was quick to change his tune after he saw how big of a help she was when we didn't have to worry about anything at the end of the night! It's her expertise and thinking of things that even a detail-oriented bride like myself didn't think of or would have missed that helped our day go so well. I'd 100% recommend Meredith and Rain Wedding Planning!

We originally hired Meredith as a bartender because we had already hired a planner. Our planner was terrible and the day of she literally walked out of our wedding part way through the day without saying anything to anyone. Meredith stepped out of her role as the bartender and saved the day. She called her assistant who quickly came to salvage our wedding day. They stayed late to help clean things up too! Rain definitely went above and beyond what they were hired to do and stepped in where others failed. Meredith is great and she has a super fun personality. You can count on her and her team not to let you down!

Meredith and her team at Rain wedding planning are truly exceptional! We were so lucky to have them make our wedding day perfect! They kept the day running smoothly and on time, and most importantly worry free! Meredith and her team are personable and professional. Meredith creates a timeline for the day and is very organized, the day's events are kept right on track. We loved knowing that if any problems arose that day we wouldn't have to deal with them and could focus on enjoying the day! I would recommend Rain Wedding Planning to anyone I know getting married, their service proved to be truly invaluable!

My husband and I lucked into having Meredith as our planner. Our original planner recommended Meredith to us after discovering her due date was very near our wedding date. We were a bit nervous at first because both my husband and I were deployed (to two separate locations) for the majority of our planning window. We relied heavily on Meredith's recommendations and when we were finally able to meet in person we could not have been more thrilled. She took into consideration our personalities (and budget!) when making recommendations. She organized all of the vendors so I really only had to worry about one point of contact. On the day of, Meredith made sure we could focus on making memories and enjoying our day. She finished up all of the last-minute details that I had overlooked or gotten too busy to deal with. She incorporated special surprises for both me and my husband so despite having been involved in all of the planning we could have a few unexpected extras. We both would highly recommend Meredith and Rain Wedding without hesitation!

Hiring Meredith at Rain Wedding Planning was the best decision and best money we spent on the wedding, bar none. As an out of town bride, there’s no way I could have managed the event all by myself. While we planned out most of the details ourselves, Meredith was there to answer questions, keep us on track, and provide as much moral support as we needed. It was great getting to know her and I looked forward to every Skype chat and email from her. Since I was planning from afar, I didn’t have a lot of time in town to nail down details, so Meredith put together planning days for when I was home, organizing vendor meetings and walkthroughs. I didn’t need to worry about a thing. When the big day finally came, she kept me calm as the rain threatened and helped us decide to keep the wedding outside (I’m so glad we did!) She made sure that everything was in its place and unless it was going to cause trouble, I was on a need to know basis for the rest of day. Meredith and her assistant took charge and all we had to do was get married and dance the night away. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Meredith and I’d recommend anyone, in or out of town, to chat with her and see what she can do for you.

I used Rain Wedding Planning in 2013 and I couldn't have been more thrilled with the work they did. My wedding took place at the summer camp where my husband and I met, and continue to visit yearly, so the place was extremely important to us. On top of that, the camp doesn't typically allow weddings, so it was of vital importance that Rain and their vendors exhibit a high level of sensitivity and professionalism, and treat the venue with great care. Rain absolutely succeeded in doing this. As the liaison between the venue, the vendors and myself, they coordinated everything in a way that appeared completely seamless. (Not sure if that was the case, but to me, the client, everything seemed to go off without a hitch!) They were responsive, dedicated, and perhaps most impressively, always cool under pressure. I highly recommend them!

I'm so glad we hired Meredith to help plan and manage my daughter's backyard wedding this past summer. Her patience, enthusiasm, ideas, organization, and network of resources and vendors was invaluable in the planning stages. Then on the rehearsal day and wedding day, Meredith and her staff kept everything running smoothly -- the rest of us simply enjoyed the beautiful wedding and reception -- which went off without a single glitch!
