The Ramscale Penthouse is a rooftop wedding venue located in the historic West Village of New York City. With awe-inspiring views of Manhattan, the Hudson River, New York Harbor, and iconic skyscrapers that dominate New York's skyline, Ramscale provides the perfect backdrop for any celebratory event. Facilities and Capacity: The south facing 3,000 square-foot studio, features two raised stages with stunning nine-foot windows, allowing natural light to run throughout the venue from dawn till dusk. Other features include two bathrooms, a conference room, a wardrobe for storage, a makeup room, a catering room, and a bridal suite. Attached to the rooftop venue is the garden terrace. This rustic style terrace overlooks the Hudson River and New York Harbor, and with over 1,000 square-feet, is the outdoor area is perfect for smaller outside ceremonies or wedding receptions. The entire venue can host a total of seventy-five guests seated or one hundred twenty guests for a cocktail-style event. The stylish wooden floors and white walls give you a great blank canvas to create the style, theme, and color you desire. The building is also pet-friendly, wheelchair accessible, and has WiFi. History: Located in the WestBeth building, the Ramscale Penthouse comes with an interesting back story. The former home of the Bell Labs, both Thomas Edison and Alexander Graham Bell worked here. The building itself has been declared a historic landmark. With such a great history couples and guests are in fine company as they too write their names into the history books at this timeless venue. Location: Located in the heart of New York City, transport to and from the venue is very accessible. Guests traveling from further afield, John F. Kennedy International and Newark International airports are approximately one hour away. Moreover, during the pandemic, guests will be pleased to have a contactless entry direct from the street and a private elevator opening directly into Ramscale Penthouse.
