Maggie was also amazing, she made me feel so calm throughout the day and I never had to worry about my dress, food or beverages. We look forward to visiting Ramsey regularly, especially on our anniversary, not just because of the incredible food, but because of the sense of family you immediately feel when you enter the doors.

They were with us every step of the day; checking in with vendors, guiding the bridal party, and even assisting me when I had broken the bustle on my dress (more than once). Although we looked at other venues, Micheal made us feel like part of the country club family from the first meeting. Our guests were so complimentary of the delicious food and beautiful grounds. The menu was exactly what we tasted and picked. y endless emails quickly and was always a huge help. On the day of our wedding, Michael and his assistant Maggie were amazing. They set up all of our decor exactly as I wanted, brought us hors d’oeuvres to a private room to make sure we got some time alone, and organized a magical sparkler send off. when we asked if my bridesmaid could pick up our decor the next morning, he offered to even pack it into her car! The venue is so unique and is beautiful both outside and inside. My favorite part is the glass atrium ballroom and I loved the addition of a tent outside for cocktail hour (there are two other rooms guest can go in as well). They are very affordable, too. We did the cocktail style reception package which included food stations, cocktail hour passed appetizers, an open bar, and huge Venetian dessert table. You don’t have to pay for any guests that aren’t able to make it at the last minute, which is great. They also were so accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding from July 2020 to July 2021. I know other brides who had to fight with their venue to get a new date, but Michael just said to tell him when I wanted it and made it happen, along with making our minimum guest count flexible. Truly unbelievable service from Michael and his team and you will not regret booking your wedding here!

as our venue. The grounds are gorgeous, the food is INCREDIBLE, and the indoor reception space has an amazing greenhouse-like vibe that we hadn't seen anywhere else. But what truly sold us here was the team. From the minute we met Michael for the onsite tour, we knew that this was our spot- Michael is kind, helpful, organized, and replies to emails at lightning speed- he answered any question that we had throughout the year and a half of planning the wedding, ensuring that we never had a doubt that the day would be amazing- and we were right! Maggie, Michael's assistant, was absolutely fantastic during the wedding day- she helped me with everything from carrying my train and fixing my dress to bringing warm tea so I could warm up before the outdoor ceremony. The staff and venue truly went above and beyond in more ways than we can name- our wedding was on a cold day, and the team provided hot apple cider for our guests and space heaters for our bridal party to keep warm so that we could have our ceremony outside. These little extra touches are woven in all throughout Ramsey's wedding planning style, and it creates a truly unique and special atmosphere. Our guests were all raving about the venue and the food, and we couldn't be happier to have picked this venue and team to be a part of the best day of our lives. cations, we went back to this one. Not only are the grounds beautiful for both an outdoor ceremony and an indoor, it was Michael who really left a great impression. Michael has such an easy going yet structured personality that I knew when the wedding day came he would do everything and anything to keep the stress away from us. Which is exactly what he did. Michael and Dennis from the start to the end of the wedding day did everything and anything to make our day as stressless and as pleasant as possible. From big things like people in the family trying to make last minute changes we didn't talk about to small things like me jokingly saying I needed a tissue and Dennis magically appearing with one. They both took care of EVERYTHING. They are both there for you for anything throughout your day. Even leading up to the big day, Michael responds to any email or phone call in a timely manner. He never seems bothered or confused by any request. All of our guests raved about how beautiful the wedding was and how delicious the food was. I am so happy that we chose Ramsey Golf and Country Club for our wedding. We are both so grateful that our wedding day was so easy going and perfect. Our only complaint is that it went by so fast but everyone told us that leading up to it! Enjoy every minute!! Thank you so much Michael and Dennis and all of the super awesome staff!!

. From the moment I arrived at the venue that morning to the day after when my family picked up decorations, Ramsey made us feel welcome and cared for. Michael went above and beyond throughout the planning (answering our seemingly endless questions), food tasting, final meeting, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We honestly couldn't be happier with our choice of wedding venue! TL;DR: do yourself a favor and book your wedding at Ramsey. You won't regret it!!!!!

Beyond the staff, the food was to die for and the drinks were plentiful. There was never a wait for food or at the bar and the staff made sure everything ran smoothly from beginning to end. If there were any major issues, I was not aware of them! You get beyond value for the cost of the venue and I would choose them over and over again! We live in Jersey City, so we're not familiar with the area. Each time we visited we'd eat lunch and take a stroll and it was just stunning to see the pockets of gardens and the lakes. When we first met Michael it almost felt silly going on other venue tours. We knew if the club held up all their amazing parts of the contract we'd be so happy. Michael, the coordinator, has been doing this for so many years and is an expert at this point. He thinks of everything and is available multiple times a week to answer any little question or extend himself and the club to make our wedding perfect. I am a big planner, picky, organized and exhaustive with questions. Michael met me completely where I'm at and made me feel seen and cared for. Some examples of why Ramsey is the best place for your wedding: -You don't have to pay for guests who are no shows (it will happen!) and they will save you money. -They don't nickel and dime you for your dreams to come true (we had a sparkler exit, and at one point were dreaming up an ice cream sundae bar for dessert, there was always a way to coordinate our contract and plan to make things happen) -They provide an all inclusive wedding. The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, open bar, and a dessert (not a wedding cake) are all included in the price. The champagne toast, the cake cutting, high fives after your ceremony. And the price is AFFORDABLE compared to other venues. -They take care of you through the duration of your planning and especially the day of. The moment my bridal party arrived at the venue all of our needs were anticipated. It was beyond a package, it was considerate and touching. -They are culturally inclusive. My husband and I are an interracial couple. I'm Italian, he's Haitian. They worked with a local Haitian bakery to arrange one of the cocktail stations and we had another one with Italian food. They also went out of their way to get special Rhum for our bar. Throughout the whole night we felt celebrated. -The whole staff and team are so friendly and work so hard. His assistant Maggie took care of me and my girls all day and the regard with which the team holds each other and the respect they show is notable. You can feel that they love love and seeing people get married. -The food is delicious. The filets are actually cooked to order. The pasta is al dente. Sometimes wedding food gets a bad rap, but this place is a class act. -They let you pick up your wedding items the next day, they pack it up for you, they don't run you out at end time. They treat you like the starry eyed newlyweds you are. This is very considerate. -Michael helped us format the schedule of the night so that people were dancing and engaged the whole time. -At the end of the night and the next day everyone told us that this was the best wedding they've ever been to. I think that speaks for itself. Ultimately, book this venue. I cannot recommend it more.

The day of he and his assistant, Maggie, were amazing at attending to our every need to alleviate any possible stress and ensuring our guests were having the best time. Not to mention the food is delicious and the ballroom/ceremony area/outdoor cocktail space couldn’t have been a better backdrop. I got so many compliments about the cocktail hour, which upheld the highest standards of NJ cocktail hours. And then, there’s Michael. From before the wedding, to during and after the wedding, Michael has everything under control - so you, especially if you’re anxious like me, can relax. Before the wedding, he’ll patiently explain how everything will happen, reply to email faster than the speed of light, and handle vendor requests. During the wedding, he’s there from the time you arrive (like making sure you have lunch and mimosas when you’re getting ready), helping run the rehearsal, to making sure you and your new husband or wife eat during cocktail hour and helping your bridesmaids find their missing cellphones. I literally did not have to worry about anything for the whole day, and it all came out better than I imagined. One of my bridesmaids, who does not live in NJ, even mused that she was thinking of planning a wedding at RG & CC because of how awesome it was!

He was more flexible and accommodating than I could have imagined, which made the Ramsey Country Club our first and only choice. We had zero stress from the minute we stepped off our party bus. Another bonus was that our florist, bakery, photographer and DJ all knew Michael and were thrilled to be working with him again - that's a huge help for any bride. Most importantly, it was absolutely gorgeous! From the cocktail hour, to the ballroom, to the grounds themselves - I know every picture is going to be beautiful. Our guests had nothing but compliments about the food-and there was plenty of it! We did food stations instead of a formal sit-down dinner, and that was such a great option to have since our guests could eat and party all night. They made accommodations for those with any food allergies and took care of all of those details in advance. We are so happy we chose the Ramsey Country Club as our venue and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, romantic, and fun place to have a wedding. We are so grateful to Michael and Maggie - you made our wedding day unforgettable!

l. We got married on a week that was unseasonably hot until the day of our wedding when the temperatures dropped and the wind picked up. We were set on getting married outside and while we took photos Michael has his staff put out hot cider to keep our guests warm before the ceremony began. He personally checked on us throughout the night to make sure we didn't need anything. They had expanded their patios for the ceremony and cocktail hour just before our wedding and the areas looked beautiful. The food was also amazing. My family is still raving about how wonderful our wedding was nearly a year later. I recommend Ramsey Golf & Country Club to everyone. I couldn't have asked for a better venue!

ub hands down. We were having trouble finding a venue that fit us and that we loved. Upon seeing the grounds and meeting Michael, Director of Catering, we knew this was the place for us. He make everything flow so easily and he and his staff really go above and beyond for you. The indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful and the building has great character and charm. Our other vendors only had great things to say about it as well, which I feel really gives you a real perspective about a venue. Our family is VERY hard to please and they also could not say enough great things about it and cannot wait to have an excuse go back. Neither can we!

However what really sold us on this venue was the director of catering, Michael. From the moment we met with him he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He makes it a priority to make you feel like you're the only bride that matters, not just another number. I love that there is only event held at a time here because you know all of the staff is focused on yourself and your guests. The day of our wedding everything went extremely smooth. We were checked on constantly by Michael and his assistant Maggie. I was kept in the loop about everything that was going on with all of my vendors, I felt very comfortable knowing everything was going according to plan. The ceremony, cocktail hour & reception were all perfect. I could not have asked for a better day! My guests are still talking about the delicious food, the beautiful grounds, and the impecable service. Thank you so much to the RC&CC for making our dreams come true!

The night of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Michael and his team made sure that everything was set up exactly how I imagined, and all of the special events we had planned worked out flawlessly. After meeting with Michael and getting a tour we signed the contract immediately. Michael is super accommodating and knowledgeable. He knows the wedding business and is super helpful. We did not feel like we were walking in to a used car lot (we felt this way about several other venues and it was a complete turn off). I had so many questions and concerns and Michael was super responsive to each of them. The day of, Michael and his staff was calm, organized and ready to do anything we needed! The food was amazing!! And the place looked absolutely gorgeous. We had our ceremony outside and the grass was very green and the landscaping was perfect. Michael and his staff was super on top of their game! They set up the reception room just the way I wanted and it was exactly the way I envisioned. His assistant, I am forgetting her name, was amazing. She was super helpful during the big day. And she was there for everything and anything my husband and I needed. I have only the most positive things to say about Ramsey Golf and Country Club! Thank you for the wedding of my dreams.

RCc, and it was the best decision I ever made. Michael was not pushy, extremely informative, and made us feel extremely welcomed. It was the first wedding venue we looked at, and I knew it was the place for us the minute we left . We looked at a ton of places and nowhere compared. RCC was all-around different and Michael was the selling point. Michael was an amazing maître d' throughout the entire process and especially during the meeting. He made our wedding process easy to plan and stress-free. He always answered my emails or my mother's emails, and never seem to get sick of us. And the event itself was incredible, food was amazing, and wait staff was awesome. On the day of the wedding he made the day go incredibly smooth. They let us in early and we had our run of the place for pictures. The golf course, gardens, the castle, everything turned out amazing. I had gotten a wedding planner, and she was not at all necessary because Michael was all I needed. Our reception turned out exactly as I pictured and Michael made sure we had everything we needed the entire night. RCC was the best choice we made for our wedding and we are so happy everyone enjoyed our wedding as much as we did. We are so grateful for Michael for making our perfect wedding come true. Sorry for the late review Michael, it has no bearing on how we felt about our wedding, it truly was an amazing night!

Imagine when dealing with whoever you have in the past and as you have request or wants his usual answer is "I can do that". We went to many other venues and most always had a different answer when asked for certain things which was definitely not I can but was that's extra. Ramsey did not do that. My daughter and her husband(sounds strange saying that) are really into food, so to gave their expectations truly excesses was easy for Michael and the Ramsey Golf and Country Club. The whole affair went perfect and from the Veri Mont through the reception went just as they promised us it would. Michael had Maggie assist the night through and again her class and poise as well as attentiveness was perfect. The setting , the space, and ease of location was excellent. The best part for me was this - imagine a venue that does not charge you for any last minute people who do not show up- Now imagine a groomsman who got drunk before the wedding who I sent home and we did not even get charged for him. We have been to many affairs as well as made a half dozen, nothing compared . After you go and talk to a few you will want to run to this one. Thank you again to Michael, Maggie, and their entire staff. You have made this special day amazing for all of us. Thank you, thank you, thank you. y close by, and could not believe that this beautiful venue was right around the corner from us, it is truly a remarkable venue. Once we stepped out of the car we immediately felt right at home. Michael, our Maitre' D, was absolutely amazing from the day we met with him for our consultation, throughout our wedding process. He is truly a genuine person and we felt so comfortable with him. He made us feel that we were the only bride and groom every time we met with him, even though he had so many other couples to answer to. He was very easy to talk to, and answered all of our many questions promptly and thoroughly, especially by e-mail and phone if we needed. We honestly could not say enough positive things about him, he is honestly one of the reasons we booked this venue because we knew we would be in good hands the moment we met him. Additionally, Maggie, his assistant, was incredibly attentive to me, the bride, throughout the entire wedding. She is also a truly genuine person who is such an asset to this venue! She was always there when I needed her for anything, and made me feel so incredibly comfortable throughout the entire wedding day. On our wedding day, we were extremely fortunate with the weather, which Michael made sure we did not stress about, as there is always a backup plan with the beautiful atrium with large windows that still shows the beautiful gardens and golf course. Thankfully, we did not have to use this backup option, but prior to booking this venue, we really liked this as a backup option in case we could not have our wedding outside, as this was imperative to us. Ramsey's outdoor setting is gorgeous and is truly effortless beauty, the stone building, staircase, and beautiful grounds made our pictures look natural and were so easy for the photographer to get some incredible photo opportunities. Ramsey worked very well with our all of vendors as well, which made our wedding day run so smoothly. We knew we were in good hands for the entire wedding day. Our ceremony space was beautiful as we mentioned that the grounds are naturally pretty, and our guests absolutely loved the brand-new, updated patio and patio furniture for cocktail hour. Also, the various cocktail hour spaces inside were also very much appreciated by our guests, and there were plenty of seats or table space for them, which our elderly relatives especially appreciated. The food during cocktail hour was INCREDIBLE and there was plenty of it for our guests to continue to enjoy, as well as the amazing food during our reception. We are still getting compliments about the food, the gorgeous indoor and outdoor decor, and even the overall flow of the wedding reception. We could go on and on about how amazing Ramsey is, and we could not have made a better choice for our wedding venue. We can't wait to go back for dinner just to take in its beauty and reminisce about how perfect our wedding day was, as well as our entire wedding planning process. Unlike many I encountered during wedding prep, Michael and his team of professionals were extremely easy to work with and so accommodating to all of our requests (no matter how small), to ensure our day was extra special. One member of the team, Maggie, was absolutely indispensable on our wedding day, and everyone was so helpful. The club was set up beautifully from the cocktail reception to the dinner in the grand ballroom. Our guests are still raving about how wonderful the food was - from the expansive cocktail hour and risotto stations, delicious filet mignon, to the amazing apple tarlet, and everything in between. get. Pulling up to you perfectly manicured grounds last fall we knew immediately your venue was the place we wanted to become united as husband and wife. Then we met your head host and manager of the facility Mr. Michael Tribel it was etched in stone and we just had to get married there. From the very first mili second we met him, Mike did nothing but speak from the heart and welcomed us with such enthusiasm and professionalism. He gave us a detailed tour of the facility while not over selling anything nor was he being a pushy salesmen and go right into prices. He was a perfect gentleman to both of us and very personable. I even joked that I'd marry him myself because his attention to detail and personality were flawless . And although it's a cardinal rule to visit other venues we booked on the spot with Mike even after Ramsey Country Club was the only place we looked at. Through out the year we had a couple of fun meetings with Mike and I joked once again that I didn't mind parting with money to book there because he made the meetings so fun. We even booked a rehearsal BRUNCH there because the place was so beautiful we couldn't wait wait to show our guests. The day of our wedding was a dream come true. Miss Maggie Johnson and Mr Dennis Kaminsky both whom are at the top of mikes staff went into complete overdrive that day to go above and beyond our wildest expectations . Not only did they ensure us things would be perfect, they delivered ten fold. Now the food....amazing .amazing. Amazing. From the cocktail hour to the ice cream bar Mike had made special for us. Food was out in perfect harmony and was just the right temperature. Zero complaints. There is so much more to say but I almost don't want to ruin it for anybody who decides this is the place for them. Mike,Dennis and Maggie were also on top of their game when it came time to work with our other vendors too, which eliminated a ton of stress off my new bride. BONUS for any groom lol. So from the scenery to the staff to the food and everything else that makes a venue perfect, Ramsey country club was and is a place where we will have our first fondest memory as a new husband and wife. ne of the best weddings they've ever attended! Michael was an absolute pleasure to work with from our first tour to the end of our reception. He helped make planning a breeze and was very accommodating. Every request was answered very quickly and with a "yes". It poured rain throughout our entire reception but once we stepped into RG&CC it didn't even matter. Yes, the grounds are so beautiful and perfect for taking pictures but the inside is gorgeous too! Michael and his team met us outside with umbrellas and quickly moved tables so we could still capture some of the beautiful landscape through the glass atrium in the main room. The food was so delicious and the wait staff was amazing. The timing of everything was perfect. RG&CC is unique, beautiful, and affordable. It's simply the best!

My husband and I planned our whole wedding from overseas so it was super important that we were able to communicate easily with our Maitre D. We soon decided to get married at the RGCC after looking at three other venues because we kept thinking about how nice Michael and how it would be nice to work with him. He was super flexible, patient, friendly with our guests, and most importantly on the day of he was the bomb with me and my husband. He knew what he was doing and he helped run the show perfectly. His assistants were so nice and spent time with me before the ceremony to keep me smiling. Michael and his staff were also excellent at helping us decorate the cocktail hour and working with our vendors on the day of. Not only did we have the perfect staff from RGCC for our 140 guests, but the food was great. Guests raved about the cocktail hour food and the main entrees. My husband is English so we wanted to cater to the English guests with a fish dish and a big chunk of my guests were vegetarian so we had to request something specific for them. Michael worked with the chefs to come up with loads of options for our family and friends. Michael was flexible with costs due to the menu changes we made and we paid more for two extra stations during cocktail hour. We probably didn't need all that food but we wanted to make sure our guests had more than enough options. RGCC honestly has amazing grounds to take wedding photos, great service from staff, good food, reasonably priced, and great location. I couldn't ask for a better venue!

e my own wedding. When it came time to plan, my fiancé and I toured a few venues. Mainly for the fun of it, because that’s what engaged couples do, but the Club was always in the back of my mind. Although I worried whether it would feel like “work,” the decision was pretty simple. Michael is great, the food is delicious and the grounds are beautiful- what’s not to love? Thanks to a combination of the Club’s elegant rustic charm, Michael’s flexibility and perhaps maybe Pinterest :), we were able to plan our dream wedding and the best part was, I could sit back and enjoy every moment of the big day without having to worry. In fact, nearly a month later, we are still receiving compliments on not only the grounds and an over abundance of delicious food, but the friendly staff and excellent service as well. I honestly couldn’t imagine having our wedding any place else and we have RG&CC to thank for that!

h a rustic feel, beautiful ceremony area overlooking the lake, the reception room with a gorgeous atrium style ceiling. We had brought our parents for dinner there to test out the food and everything was delicious from the wine to the meal to the dessert, they were impressed (PS we are Italian & we are picky & specific.) We had 14 months from booking to our wedding date on 10/15/16. Over that time period Michael was SO responsive, helped me make other decisions, gave his professional experienced guidance, and assisted ANY silly request or question I had. Over the course of the year we visited the Ramsey for a few meetings and dinners, and always truly enjoyed our experience, our dinner and our interactions with Michael and all of the staff. Leading up to the big day I was not a calm bride (AT ALL) but I had not one worry about the venue with everything in Michaels & his staff’s hands. In the end my parents ended up loving Michael and the Ramsey just as much as we did, he really made sure we were ALL happy. From the moment I stepped on the grounds at Ramsey on my wedding day, I was treated like a queen (thank you Maggie ). We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside in October and it was everything I ever dreamed of and PICTURE PERFECT. Michael coordinated everything from the timeline of the day, the photos, the bridal party, reception, cocktail hour everything was so seamless. From there- during the cocktail hour, I have a gluten allergy, and Michael had already set up all my requests gluten free for my husband and I in the bridal suite, we went up to cocktail hour and everything was set the way we requested, people were raving about the food. From there the reception, the timing, the lighting, the service, the food, to the cake cutting, to the very last dance was PERECTION I do not have one complaint. He even made the end of the night seamless with his staff packing up all our things and handling the final bill. The entire night guests and even vendors were complimenting me on the venue & the food and saying it was the best wedding ever!!The Ramsey Golf & country Club along with Michael and his staff, brought all our visions into a reality, made all of our requests possible, it was a dream day, along with a very personalized experience, I wish we can relive it again. Look no further if you are looking for not your average venue in NJ – its intimate, classic, beautiful and top notch when it comes to food, service, quality and class. Besides saying yes to marrying the love of my life, the Ramsey was one of the best decisions I made! Thank you RG&CC we will be back to visit and we will remember the beauty and excellence of this fantastic day for the rest of our lives. I was walking around on my own, when the Director of Catering/Events , Mr. Michael Treible, came out and offered to show me around their beautiful surroundings. Michael's relaxed and easy-going but professional manner instantly convinced me that this was going to be the venue for my daughter's wedding and he was the right person for the job. Michael is extremely knowledgeable, gracious, accommodating and approachable. When the whole family met Michael, they felt the same way. He explained all the pricing to us and we found it to be very reasonable. Throughout all the months preceding the wedding, Michael gave us priceless information, calmed our anxieties, shared advice and tips and took care of all arrangements seamlessly. On the day of the wedding, Michael and his team invisibly took care of all details without any glitches. Since the weather was unsettled that day, they even set up the chairs for the ceremony in both places-outside and inside-- just in case, -- something that I found extremely considerate, as I had been agonizing about the weather for weeks. Everything was absolutely perfect--the cocktail hour food was bountiful and delicious, the sit-down dinner was perfectly served, the organization of all the vendors, the music, the cake, the flow of the ceremony and reception--it was flawless. I really cannot find enough words for my gratitude to Michael and the entire Ramsey Golf and Country Club team, who made our daughter's wedding a spectacular event.
