Last weekend my husband and I were married at Ramsey Golf and Country Club and it was nothing short of amazing. When first booking, we quickly realized how wonderful Michael is. Every question, concern, thought was answered so quickly and with great reassurance throughout our entire 15 months of planning . On wedding day, Michael and Maggie were truly incredible. They were with us every step of the day; checking in with vendors, guiding the bridal party, and even assisting me when I had broken the bustle on my dress (more than once). Our guests are still raving about the cocktail hour, service, and dinner. The staff at Ramsey made sure the bride and groom had a seamless day. I cannot thank everyone enough!

My husband and I got married here in April 2022. Ever since I’ve been trying to find the words to capture how incredible our experience was. When I say it was the most perfect, beautiful and fun day of our lives- I truly mean it. I told everyone that I would get married in a shack as long as Michael and his staff were planning it !!! We felt supported, understood and like we were all family. Our guests are still talking about our wedding- saying it was the best they’ve ever been to. The food was an out of this world experience- every morsel of food was better than the last and truly prepared with so much love !! Michael, Maggie and Dennis were born to do what they do- they managed and organized our wedding in a way that my husband and I only had to focus on our evening, it was more than I could have ever dreamed of. The venue was immaculate, pristine and beautiful- we were so happy and proud to host our guests there. I wish I could rate this experience more than 5 stars because it really was a once in a lifetime Experience ! From the moment we toured we knew we wanted to work with Michael and he made our whole planning experience wonderful- he is knowledgeable, helpful and understanding ! He is a true rockstar. We can’t thank the Ramsey team enough for everything they did for us!!

From the moment I met with Michael the director of catering, I knew this venue was perfect. Throughout the night, guests came up to me to tell me how wonderful the food was and how beautiful everything was and I couldn’t agree more. Any issue that came up was taken care of before I even knew there was an issue and we were able to just relax and enjoy our special day.

Could not have asked for a better venue and team to coordinate our wedding! Ramsey Gold & Country Club truly have their couples in mind throughout the entire wedding process. The staff there are unbelievably professional and talented, especially Michael, Maggie, & Dennis. The venue is beautiful and the food is SO GOOD. I would book any party here for any occasion.

We truly had the most magical wedding in the world at Ramsey Golf & Country Club. We knew as soon as we met Michael that if we booked this venue we would be taken care of every step of the way and he did not disappoint. He answered all of our questions over the year from when we booked promptly and organized. He genuinely cared about all of our requests and wishes for the wedding. On the actual day Michael, Maggie, and Dennis were an amazing team that constantly checked on us and made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. The whole night went off without a hitch and we could not be more thankful for every single person who made the day so special for us. While we are so sad our wedding day is over we are so thankful we decided to have it at Ramsey Golf and Country Club.

had the most amazing wedding 10/10 all thanks to michael and the other employees. Michael was right there with along through all the wedding planning and on the day of he was at times ot seemed he was everywhere when you even thought of looking for him. Dennis was awesome too and even stood on the rain holding the umbrella over me so we could get some outside shots. The food was amazing and i have guest still raving about how full they were but kept eating more. I would highly recommend if you have a type a personality like me and is all about timing and feeling like the day is really about you and your fiance.

Describing our experience with Ramsey Country Club as amazing and wonderful doesn’t seem to capture how magnificent our wedding/ experience was! Michael, Maggie, Dennis, Louis and the whole team were a pleasure to work with. From our first visit with Michael, all our communications to reschedule with the pandemic and working with him the day of were perfect. Although we looked at other venues, Micheal made us feel like part of the country club family from the first meeting. Michael responded quickly to communication, was so helpful with suggestions, calm the day of and kept the day moving seamlessly. Our guests were so complimentary of the delicious food and beautiful grounds. The menu was exactly what we tasted and picked. Michael and Maggie were with us the whole time and really made it a special day. The Sweetheart table was never empty. Michael and his team were very attentive, quick and easy to get ahold of, they were accommodating with schedules and keeping our vision. The entire day was ours. We would recommend Ramsey country club to anyone looking to have a wedding.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding at Ramsey Golf and Country Club in September 2021. They were so flexible when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and Michael was wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process. He went above and beyond to address our COVID safety concerns and make our guests feel comfortable. Our day went perfectly because of Michael and Maggie! We felt like we truly got to enjoy our day because they took such good care of us, like by checking in as we got ready and bringing us food during the reception. On top of all that, the venue is gorgeous! The ceremony area, patio and ballroom are beautiful spaces. I highly recommend booking this venue!

Ramsey Golf and Country Club is a beautiful venue but the people make it the best location for your wedding. The maitre d Michael is charismatic, kind, and attentive. He answered my endless emails quickly and was always a huge help. On the day of our wedding, Michael and his assistant Maggie were amazing. They set up all of our decor exactly as I wanted, brought us hors d’oeuvres to a private room to make sure we got some time alone, and organized a magical sparkler send off. when we asked if my bridesmaid could pick up our decor the next morning, he offered to even pack it into her car! The venue is so unique and is beautiful both outside and inside. My favorite part is the glass atrium ballroom and I loved the addition of a tent outside for cocktail hour (there are two other rooms guest can go in as well). They are very affordable, too. We did the cocktail style reception package which included food stations, cocktail hour passed appetizers, an open bar, and huge Venetian dessert table. You don’t have to pay for any guests that aren’t able to make it at the last minute, which is great. They also were so accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding from July 2020 to July 2021. I know other brides who had to fight with their venue to get a new date, but Michael just said to tell him when I wanted it and made it happen, along with making our minimum guest count flexible. Truly unbelievable service from Michael and his team and you will not regret booking your wedding here!

We are writing this review literally ONE day after our wedding because we can't stop talking about how amazing it was, and how glad we are to have picked Ramsey Golf & Country Club as our venue. The grounds are gorgeous, the food is INCREDIBLE, and the indoor reception space has an amazing greenhouse-like vibe that we hadn't seen anywhere else. But what truly sold us here was the team. From the minute we met Michael for the onsite tour, we knew that this was our spot- Michael is kind, helpful, organized, and replies to emails at lightning speed- he answered any question that we had throughout the year and a half of planning the wedding, ensuring that we never had a doubt that the day would be amazing- and we were right! Maggie, Michael's assistant, was absolutely fantastic during the wedding day- she helped me with everything from carrying my train and fixing my dress to bringing warm tea so I could warm up before the outdoor ceremony. The staff and venue truly went above and beyond in more ways than we can name- our wedding was on a cold day, and the team provided hot apple cider for our guests and space heaters for our bridal party to keep warm so that we could have our ceremony outside. These little extra touches are woven in all throughout Ramsey's wedding planning style, and it creates a truly unique and special atmosphere. Our guests were all raving about the venue and the food, and we couldn't be happier to have picked this venue and team to be a part of the best day of our lives. Ahh! I can't say enough good things about Michael and Ramsey Golf and Country Club! This was the first venue my now husband and I looked at and even after looking at a few other locations, we went back to this one. Not only are the grounds beautiful for both an outdoor ceremony and an indoor, it was Michael who really left a great impression. Michael has such an easy going yet structured personality that I knew when the wedding day came he would do everything and anything to keep the stress away from us. Which is exactly what he did. Michael and Dennis from the start to the end of the wedding day did everything and anything to make our day as stressless and as pleasant as possible. From big things like people in the family trying to make last minute changes we didn't talk about to small things like me jokingly saying I needed a tissue and Dennis magically appearing with one. They both took care of EVERYTHING. They are both there for you for anything throughout your day. Even leading up to the big day, Michael responds to any email or phone call in a timely manner. He never seems bothered or confused by any request. All of our guests raved about how beautiful the wedding was and how delicious the food was. I am so happy that we chose Ramsey Golf and Country Club for our wedding. We are both so grateful that our wedding day was so easy going and perfect. Our only complaint is that it went by so fast but everyone told us that leading up to it! Enjoy every minute!! Thank you so much Michael and Dennis and all of the super awesome staff!!

I can't say enough about Ramsey Golf & Country Club (all positive, of course). My husband and I had THE BEST DAY, thanks in large part to the work of Michael and his team at Ramsey. From the moment I arrived at the venue that morning to the day after when my family picked up decorations, Ramsey made us feel welcome and cared for. Michael went above and beyond throughout the planning (answering our seemingly endless questions), food tasting, final meeting, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We honestly couldn't be happier with our choice of wedding venue! TL;DR: do yourself a favor and book your wedding at Ramsey. You won't regret it!!!!!

I can't put into words how helpful, responsive and cool and collected our Maitre D Michael was throughout the entire process. We did not need to hire a wedding planner or Day of Coordinator because he and his staff took care of literally everything from showing the photographers the best places for photographs, to setting up all of our decor (even re-purposing cocktail hour decor into reception space decor) to making sure my hubby and I received samples of all of the hor dourves in a private room after our ceremony, to working with our budget and relatively lower (100 guests) guest count. Additionally, all of our guests cleaned their plates! I would hands down recommend this venue to anyone looking in the Northern NJ area

There is not one negative thing I can say about the Ramsey Golf and Country Club and their staff other than the fact that I’m sad that the wedding is over and they won’t be my team anymore! From the venue tour to the night of, Mike and his team were attentive and amazing. My guests couldn’t stop raving about how great everyone was. Beyond the staff, the food was to die for and the drinks were plentiful. There was never a wait for food or at the bar and the staff made sure everything ran smoothly from beginning to end. If there were any major issues, I was not aware of them! You get beyond value for the cost of the venue and I would choose them over and over again! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for a perfect wedding!

I could write a novel about how wonderful this place and the coordinator were to my husband and I. To start with, the venue's beauty keeps unfolding as you spend more time there. We live in Jersey City, so we're not familiar with the area. Each time we visited we'd eat lunch and take a stroll and it was just stunning to see the pockets of gardens and the lakes. When we first met Michael it almost felt silly going on other venue tours. We knew if the club held up all their amazing parts of the contract we'd be so happy. Michael, the coordinator, has been doing this for so many years and is an expert at this point. He thinks of everything and is available multiple times a week to answer any little question or extend himself and the club to make our wedding perfect. I am a big planner, picky, organized and exhaustive with questions. Michael met me completely where I'm at and made me feel seen and cared for. Some examples of why Ramsey is the best place for your wedding: -You don't have to pay for guests who are no shows (it will happen!) and they will save you money. -They don't nickel and dime you for your dreams to come true (we had a sparkler exit, and at one point were dreaming up an ice cream sundae bar for dessert, there was always a way to coordinate our contract and plan to make things happen) -They provide an all inclusive wedding. The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, open bar, and a dessert (not a wedding cake) are all included in the price. The champagne toast, the cake cutting, high fives after your ceremony. And the price is AFFORDABLE compared to other venues. -They take care of you through the duration of your planning and especially the day of. The moment my bridal party arrived at the venue all of our needs were anticipated. It was beyond a package, it was considerate and touching. -They are culturally inclusive. My husband and I are an interracial couple. I'm Italian, he's Haitian. They worked with a local Haitian bakery to arrange one of the cocktail stations and we had another one with Italian food. They also went out of their way to get special Rhum for our bar. Throughout the whole night we felt celebrated. -The whole staff and team are so friendly and work so hard. His assistant Maggie took care of me and my girls all day and the regard with which the team holds each other and the respect they show is notable. You can feel that they love love and seeing people get married. -The food is delicious. The filets are actually cooked to order. The pasta is al dente. Sometimes wedding food gets a bad rap, but this place is a class act. -They let you pick up your wedding items the next day, they pack it up for you, they don't run you out at end time. They treat you like the starry eyed newlyweds you are. This is very considerate. -Michael helped us format the schedule of the night so that people were dancing and engaged the whole time. -At the end of the night and the next day everyone told us that this was the best wedding they've ever been to. I think that speaks for itself. Ultimately, book this venue. I cannot recommend it more.

My husband and I couldn't be happier with choosing Ramsey Golf & Country Club as our Wedding Venue! Throughout the planning process, Michael, the venue’s Wedding Coordinator couldn’t have made the process easier or less stressful. He was quick to reply to my MANY emails and gave a lot of helpful suggestions, was very accommodating with helping to add all the personal touches we wanted and was overall a pleasure to work with. The day of he and his assistant, Maggie, were amazing at attending to our every need to alleviate any possible stress and ensuring our guests were having the best time. Not to mention the food is delicious and the ballroom/ceremony area/outdoor cocktail space couldn’t have been a better backdrop. I would highly recommend RG&CC as it truly is a “hidden gem” of a venue!

Wow is truly all I have to say about this incredible place. The second we saw the space, we knew it was the right place for our wedding. It has a beautiful stone abbey that was symbolic of a castle, which I've always wanted and a gorgeous outdoor ceremony space. All of the food was excellent beyond measure and the staff was on point all night. Anything you need, they were there 2 minutes before we asked for it. The fact that they wanted us to have our ceremony outside despite and unexpected change in weather and knowing it's importance to us was amazing. Michael went above and beyond and so did the bridal attendant, Maggie. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a rustic, yet elegant vibe for their wedding. Danielle and Michael

Every part of wedding planning was seamless from start to finish. Michael was so easy to work with, he had amazing attention to detail and had a tremendous ability to keep our entire wedding party calm and ready. We absolutely loved the venue. There was a snow storm on the weekend of our wedding and thanks to Michael and his staff everything still went exactly as planned. Getting married in the glass atrium gave us the perfect outdoor feel we were looking for while also being warm inside on a winter day. The food was amazing, our guests are still raving about it. I can't say enough about the RG&CC, you will love it!

Ramsey Golf and Country Club has exceeded all our expectations for our wedding from beginning to end. From the first meeting with Michael to the wedding day, Michael was very helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. After our final meeting two days before the wedding, we felt comfortable and confident that everything would be as we envisioned. The day of could not have gone any smoother. Michael was attentive to us throughout the reception and was very personable with our guests. We also had one of Michaels’ assistants, Maggie, who helped me with anything that I needed. Service and the staff were outstanding and the food was delicious. A month later, guests still rave about the amount and quality of the food! One thing we also LOVED about Ramsey was that we had a private room to enjoy some of the hors d'oeuvres from cocktail hour before joining our guests half way through. It was great to have some alone time with each other (hard to do on your wedding day!) and to have a chance to enjoy the amazing food! We highly recommend Ramsey Golf and County Club! It was a beautiful event inside and out. We loved every minute of our wedding reception and felt that all their attention to us alleviated any sense of stress or concern. Thanks again Michael!

I don’t have enough space to write all the awesome things about this venue. From day one, Michael was amazing. He was attentive, quick to respond to any and all questions, and beyond friendly. He helped me through every step of the wedding planning process and our wedding day was flawless. Ramsey Country Club was a dream and fulfilled every vision I had for the big day. The food was delicious and their attention to detail was impeccable. They made sure our wedding was everything we wanted and more. Love this place!!!

You will not be disappointed at RG & CC. The venue itself is awesome - it rained during our ceremony, so we had to do it inside, and we were just as excited about doing it inside as would’ve been about doing it outside. (The grounds are awesome, too! IMHO, the photos do not do it justice.) The food is fantastic, and there’s a lot of it! I got so many compliments about the cocktail hour, which upheld the highest standards of NJ cocktail hours. And then, there’s Michael. From before the wedding, to during and after the wedding, Michael has everything under control - so you, especially if you’re anxious like me, can relax. Before the wedding, he’ll patiently explain how everything will happen, reply to email faster than the speed of light, and handle vendor requests. During the wedding, he’s there from the time you arrive (like making sure you have lunch and mimosas when you’re getting ready), helping run the rehearsal, to making sure you and your new husband or wife eat during cocktail hour and helping your bridesmaids find their missing cellphones. I literally did not have to worry about anything for the whole day, and it all came out better than I imagined. One of my bridesmaids, who does not live in NJ, even mused that she was thinking of planning a wedding at RG & CC because of how awesome it was!

I cannot say enough positive things about our wedding - it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish! Looking for venues to begin with can be very stressful-especially when you're on a budget-but Michael made us feel comfortable from our very first meeting. He was more flexible and accommodating than I could have imagined, which made the Ramsey Country Club our first and only choice. Every step of the way he helped us to coordinate and plan, and on the day, we didn't have to worry about a thing! Michael and his assistant, Maggie, were an absolute dream. We had zero stress from the minute we stepped off our party bus. Another bonus was that our florist, bakery, photographer and DJ all knew Michael and were thrilled to be working with him again - that's a huge help for any bride. Most importantly, it was absolutely gorgeous! From the cocktail hour, to the ballroom, to the grounds themselves - I know every picture is going to be beautiful. Our guests had nothing but compliments about the food-and there was plenty of it! We did food stations instead of a formal sit-down dinner, and that was such a great option to have since our guests could eat and party all night. They made accommodations for those with any food allergies and took care of all of those details in advance. We are so happy we chose the Ramsey Country Club as our venue and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, romantic, and fun place to have a wedding. We are so grateful to Michael and Maggie - you made our wedding day unforgettable!

My husband and I got married at Ramsey Golf & Country Club last September and my only regret is that I didn't write them a glowing review sooner. Michael and his staff are wonderful. We got married on a week that was unseasonably hot until the day of our wedding when the temperatures dropped and the wind picked up. We were set on getting married outside and while we took photos Michael has his staff put out hot cider to keep our guests warm before the ceremony began. He personally checked on us throughout the night to make sure we didn't need anything. They had expanded their patios for the ceremony and cocktail hour just before our wedding and the areas looked beautiful. The food was also amazing. My family is still raving about how wonderful our wedding was nearly a year later. I recommend Ramsey Golf & Country Club to everyone. I couldn't have asked for a better venue!

I saved this review for last because I cannot believe the experience is over. If you want a stress free event with great food and a great staff go to the Ramsey Golf and Country Club hands down. We were having trouble finding a venue that fit us and that we loved. Upon seeing the grounds and meeting Michael, Director of Catering, we knew this was the place for us. He make everything flow so easily and he and his staff really go above and beyond for you. The indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful and the building has great character and charm. Our other vendors only had great things to say about it as well, which I feel really gives you a real perspective about a venue. Our family is VERY hard to please and they also could not say enough great things about it and cannot wait to have an excuse go back. Neither can we!

The venue itself is lovely and if it rains as it did on my wedding day you still have a beautiful setting. The food is fabulous and plentiful. My guests are still talking about the food days later. What sets Ramsey apart, it that Michael, the director of catering, walks the walk. We partially decided to have our wedding here because of what Michael said he would do. He promises to be there that day and he is there! He and his staff make everything seamless, and truly make you feel as if they enjoy what they do.

The RG&CC was the first venue I visited while planning my wedding. After meeting Michael and touring the grounds I knew I didn't have to look anywhere else. First of all the venue is beautiful. It is definitely not your typical gaudy New Jersey venue. It is soft and romantic, straight out of a fairy tail! However what really sold us on this venue was the director of catering, Michael. From the moment we met with him he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was not pushy, but extremely open and informative, which I loved because you can tell this was not a business to him. He makes it a priority to make you feel like you're the only bride that matters, not just another number. I love that there is only event held at a time here because you know all of the staff is focused on yourself and your guests. The day of our wedding everything went extremely smooth. We were checked on constantly by Michael and his assistant Maggie. I was kept in the loop about everything that was going on with all of my vendors, I felt very comfortable knowing everything was going according to plan. The ceremony, cocktail hour & reception were all perfect. I could not have asked for a better day! My guests are still talking about the delicious food, the beautiful grounds, and the impecable service. Thank you so much to the RC&CC for making our dreams come true!

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at RGCC on 01/14/18. This was the most amazing wedding venue! Working with Michael was so easy and seamless from our very first tour. The space is totally unique and offers so many beautiful photo opportunities. The food tasting was so much fun, and every single thing we tasted was delicious. The night of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Michael and his team made sure that everything was set up exactly how I imagined, and all of the special events we had planned worked out flawlessly. The country club was truly the best place to make so many lasting memories with loved ones.

We got married at Ramsey Golf and Country Club, and it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. Michael and his team are absolutely phenomenal, and helped make our day so special. From planning and finding vendors, all the way to the big day, Michael was there for us and made everything so easy and stress free! Our wedding day was everything we ever wanted - The food was absolutely delicious, and the venue was beautiful and unforgettable. My husband and I love Ramsey Country Club. We had our wedding there on Oct 28, 2017. Michael and his team are amazing!! We looked at tons of venues in the New York, New Jersey, CT area but as soon as we saw the Ramsey Country Club we knew we wanted to have our wedding there. IT IS BEAUTIFUL. And they only do one wedding a night. After meeting with Michael and getting a tour we signed the contract immediately. Michael is super accommodating and knowledgeable. He knows the wedding business and is super helpful. He had so many great recommendations. In addition, he was very honest in terms of cost and everything was transparent and fair. We did not feel like we were walking in to a used car lot (we felt this way about several other venues and it was a complete turn off). We felt comfortable and at ease throughout the process at Ramsey Golf and Country club. Before the day of the wedding we had a TON of communication with Michael. I had so many questions and concerns and Michael was super responsive to each of them. The day of, Michael and his staff was calm, organized and ready to do anything we needed! The food was amazing!! And the place looked absolutely gorgeous. We had our ceremony outside and the grass was very green and the landscaping was perfect. Michael and his staff was super on top of their game! They set up the reception room just the way I wanted and it was exactly the way I envisioned. His assistant, I am forgetting her name, was amazing. She was super helpful during the big day. And she was there for everything and anything my husband and I needed. I have only the most positive things to say about Ramsey Golf and Country Club! Thank you for the wedding of my dreams.

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at the RG&CC in September of 2017. I couldn't be happier with this venue. From the start Michael made me feel extremely confident that all our needs would be met. Michael is extremely professional and knows his stuff! They took care of every detail and anticipated the flow of the day from the very start to the last dance! The food was wonderful, the service was excellent and we had a PERFECT day. I would highly recommend this venue!

The most amazing venue! The ballroom at night, with the atrium affects, makes it feel like you are under the stars. It is so gorgeous. My guests had the best time and we got so many compliments about how perfect everything was. Great service and amazing food!!. My husband and I seriously had the best day ever. Michael and his team were so helpful throughout the entire process. They were truly amazing to work with.

Ramsey Golf and Country Club is THE place to get married. We just had our wedding here (1/13/18), and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The food is excellent from beginning to end, the grounds and inside the venue are stunning and perfect for pictures, and the staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. We had the pleasure of working with Michael to plan our wedding. He is hands down the best coordinator anyone could ever hope for. He is incredibly prompt when communicating, he is full of great ideas and suggestions, he is so thoughtful and flexible with anything you could wish for at your wedding, and he and his staff work tirelessly the day of to make sure you and even your parents are completely happy and taken care of. He is a wonderful person who will help to make all of your visions and dreams for your wedding come true, and the Ramsey Country Club is the perfect place for that to happen!

I may be biased, but it was the best wedding that I've ever been too! And everyone who came, said it was the best, most enjoyable wedding as well! I accidentally booked a tour at RCc, and it was the best decision I ever made. Michael was not pushy, extremely informative, and made us feel extremely welcomed. It was the first wedding venue we looked at, and I knew it was the place for us the minute we left . We looked at a ton of places and nowhere compared. RCC was all-around different and Michael was the selling point. Michael was an amazing maître d' throughout the entire process and especially during the meeting. He made our wedding process easy to plan and stress-free. He always answered my emails or my mother's emails, and never seem to get sick of us. And the event itself was incredible, food was amazing, and wait staff was awesome. On the day of the wedding he made the day go incredibly smooth. They let us in early and we had our run of the place for pictures. The golf course, gardens, the castle, everything turned out amazing. I had gotten a wedding planner, and she was not at all necessary because Michael was all I needed. Our reception turned out exactly as I pictured and Michael made sure we had everything we needed the entire night. RCC was the best choice we made for our wedding and we are so happy everyone enjoyed our wedding as much as we did. We are so grateful for Michael for making our perfect wedding come true. Sorry for the late review Michael, it has no bearing on how we felt about our wedding, it truly was an amazing night!

From our first meeting till today we are super happy We chose Ramsey Golf & Country Club!! I would recommended to everyone! Loved the people especially Michael :-) he became like family. We had our daughters wedding here this weekend and one word comes to mind to describe our experience- WOW... I do not usually review places but this venue was superior to many we have used as well as have attended. Let's start with Michael who from the moment we we met made us feel at ease with him calm and professional manner. Imagine when dealing with whoever you have in the past and as you have request or wants his usual answer is "I can do that". We went to many other venues and most always had a different answer when asked for certain things which was definitely not I can but was that's extra. Ramsey did not do that. My daughter and her husband(sounds strange saying that) are really into food, so to gave their expectations truly excesses was easy for Michael and the Ramsey Golf and Country Club. The whole affair went perfect and from the Veri Mont through the reception went just as they promised us it would. Michael had Maggie assist the night through and again her class and poise as well as attentiveness was perfect. The setting , the space, and ease of location was excellent. The best part for me was this - imagine a venue that does not charge you for any last minute people who do not show up- Now imagine a groomsman who got drunk before the wedding who I sent home and we did not even get charged for him. We have been to many affairs as well as made a half dozen, nothing compared . After you go and talk to a few you will want to run to this one. Thank you again to Michael, Maggie, and their entire staff. You have made this special day amazing for all of us. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We could not have chosen a better venue for our July 28, 2017 wedding! After researching several venues, we never felt that anything was "us" until we went to Ramsey. We live very close by, and could not believe that this beautiful venue was right around the corner from us, it is truly a remarkable venue. Once we stepped out of the car we immediately felt right at home. Michael, our Maitre' D, was absolutely amazing from the day we met with him for our consultation, throughout our wedding process. He is truly a genuine person and we felt so comfortable with him. He made us feel that we were the only bride and groom every time we met with him, even though he had so many other couples to answer to. He was very easy to talk to, and answered all of our many questions promptly and thoroughly, especially by e-mail and phone if we needed. We honestly could not say enough positive things about him, he is honestly one of the reasons we booked this venue because we knew we would be in good hands the moment we met him. Additionally, Maggie, his assistant, was incredibly attentive to me, the bride, throughout the entire wedding. She is also a truly genuine person who is such an asset to this venue! She was always there when I needed her for anything, and made me feel so incredibly comfortable throughout the entire wedding day. On our wedding day, we were extremely fortunate with the weather, which Michael made sure we did not stress about, as there is always a backup plan with the beautiful atrium with large windows that still shows the beautiful gardens and golf course. Thankfully, we did not have to use this backup option, but prior to booking this venue, we really liked this as a backup option in case we could not have our wedding outside, as this was imperative to us. Ramsey's outdoor setting is gorgeous and is truly effortless beauty, the stone building, staircase, and beautiful grounds made our pictures look natural and were so easy for the photographer to get some incredible photo opportunities. Ramsey worked very well with our all of vendors as well, which made our wedding day run so smoothly. We knew we were in good hands for the entire wedding day. Our ceremony space was beautiful as we mentioned that the grounds are naturally pretty, and our guests absolutely loved the brand-new, updated patio and patio furniture for cocktail hour. Also, the various cocktail hour spaces inside were also very much appreciated by our guests, and there were plenty of seats or table space for them, which our elderly relatives especially appreciated. The food during cocktail hour was INCREDIBLE and there was plenty of it for our guests to continue to enjoy, as well as the amazing food during our reception. We are still getting compliments about the food, the gorgeous indoor and outdoor decor, and even the overall flow of the wedding reception. We could go on and on about how amazing Ramsey is, and we could not have made a better choice for our wedding venue. We can't wait to go back for dinner just to take in its beauty and reminisce about how perfect our wedding day was, as well as our entire wedding planning process. A family member saw something special in Ramsey Golf & Country Club at a previous wedding and knew it would be the perfect place for us to have our wedding - and they were right! We knew from our first visit there that it would be a stunning place for a reception, and knew we would be in great hands with the talented team here. Unlike many I encountered during wedding prep, Michael and his team of professionals were extremely easy to work with and so accommodating to all of our requests (no matter how small), to ensure our day was extra special. They also worked seamlessly with our vendors as well to make sure everything went smoothly. One member of the team, Maggie, was absolutely indispensable on our wedding day, and everyone was so helpful. The club was set up beautifully from the cocktail reception to the dinner in the grand ballroom. Our guests are still raving about how wonderful the food was - from the expansive cocktail hour and risotto stations, delicious filet mignon, to the amazing apple tarlet, and everything in between. We had such a great experience here, and I would recommend it to any bride.-

Ramsey Golf and Country Club. Where do I start? Both my bride Rosa and myself will be forever indetted to you and your staff for not just a wedding but a day we both will NEVER forget. Pulling up to you perfectly manicured grounds last fall we knew immediately your venue was the place we wanted to become united as husband and wife. Then we met your head host and manager of the facility Mr. Michael Tribel it was etched in stone and we just had to get married there. From the very first mili second we met him, Mike did nothing but speak from the heart and welcomed us with such enthusiasm and professionalism. He gave us a detailed tour of the facility while not over selling anything nor was he being a pushy salesmen and go right into prices. He was a perfect gentleman to both of us and very personable. I even joked that I'd marry him myself because his attention to detail and personality were flawless . And although it's a cardinal rule to visit other venues we booked on the spot with Mike even after Ramsey Country Club was the only place we looked at. Through out the year we had a couple of fun meetings with Mike and I joked once again that I didn't mind parting with money to book there because he made the meetings so fun. We even booked a rehearsal BRUNCH there because the place was so beautiful we couldn't wait wait to show our guests. The day of our wedding was a dream come true. Miss Maggie Johnson and Mr Dennis Kaminsky both whom are at the top of mikes staff went into complete overdrive that day to go above and beyond our wildest expectations . Not only did they ensure us things would be perfect, they delivered ten fold. Now the food....amazing .amazing. Amazing. From the cocktail hour to the ice cream bar Mike had made special for us. Food was out in perfect harmony and was just the right temperature. Zero complaints. There is so much more to say but I almost don't want to ruin it for anybody who decides this is the place for them. Mike,Dennis and Maggie were also on top of their game when it came time to work with our other vendors too, which eliminated a ton of stress off my new bride. BONUS for any groom lol. So from the scenery to the staff to the food and everything else that makes a venue perfect, Ramsey country club was and is a place where we will have our first fondest memory as a new husband and wife. My husband and I had our wedding reception here in July and it was everything we could have ever dreamed of and more! Even months later, I still have guests telling me how it was one of the best weddings they've ever attended! Michael was an absolute pleasure to work with from our first tour to the end of our reception. He helped make planning a breeze and was very accommodating. Every request was answered very quickly and with a "yes". It poured rain throughout our entire reception but once we stepped into RG&CC it didn't even matter. Yes, the grounds are so beautiful and perfect for taking pictures but the inside is gorgeous too! Michael and his team met us outside with umbrellas and quickly moved tables so we could still capture some of the beautiful landscape through the glass atrium in the main room. The food was so delicious and the wait staff was amazing. The timing of everything was perfect. RG&CC is unique, beautiful, and affordable. It's simply the best!

Absolute perfection! Beautiful grounds and location with delicious food! My husband and I got married here in August. Michael made the wedding planning process a breeze and always quickly responded to my many questions. If you are looking for a wedding venue that isn't just your standard large ballroom, this is your place! Absolutely loved everything about this experience!

What a dream come true with this hidden gem! My husband and I got married this past July and when we first came to Ramsey Golf and Country Club last year, we absolutely loved the venue (especially the ceremony space). What sold us was Michael. My husband and I planned our whole wedding from overseas so it was super important that we were able to communicate easily with our Maitre D. We soon decided to get married at the RGCC after looking at three other venues because we kept thinking about how nice Michael and how it would be nice to work with him. He was super flexible, patient, friendly with our guests, and most importantly on the day of he was the bomb with me and my husband. He knew what he was doing and he helped run the show perfectly. His assistants were so nice and spent time with me before the ceremony to keep me smiling. Michael and his staff were also excellent at helping us decorate the cocktail hour and working with our vendors on the day of. Not only did we have the perfect staff from RGCC for our 140 guests, but the food was great. Guests raved about the cocktail hour food and the main entrees. My husband is English so we wanted to cater to the English guests with a fish dish and a big chunk of my guests were vegetarian so we had to request something specific for them. Michael worked with the chefs to come up with loads of options for our family and friends. Michael was flexible with costs due to the menu changes we made and we paid more for two extra stations during cocktail hour. We probably didn't need all that food but we wanted to make sure our guests had more than enough options. RGCC honestly has amazing grounds to take wedding photos, great service from staff, good food, reasonably priced, and great location. I couldn't ask for a better venue!

RG&CC is the best. Plain and simple. I already knew that though because I’m lucky enough to work here as well. Needless to say, my standards are pretty high for any event, let alone my own wedding. When it came time to plan, my fiancé and I toured a few venues. Mainly for the fun of it, because that’s what engaged couples do, but the Club was always in the back of my mind. Although I worried whether it would feel like “work,” the decision was pretty simple. Michael is great, the food is delicious and the grounds are beautiful- what’s not to love? Thanks to a combination of the Club’s elegant rustic charm, Michael’s flexibility and perhaps maybe Pinterest :), we were able to plan our dream wedding and the best part was, I could sit back and enjoy every moment of the big day without having to worry. In fact, nearly a month later, we are still receiving compliments on not only the grounds and an over abundance of delicious food, but the friendly staff and excellent service as well. I honestly couldn’t imagine having our wedding any place else and we have RG&CC to thank for that!

From the moment we stepped into the Ramsey, we not only fell in love with the place & scenery, but Michael Treible as well. The grounds are magnificent, truly a charming venue, with a rustic feel, beautiful ceremony area overlooking the lake, the reception room with a gorgeous atrium style ceiling. We had brought our parents for dinner there to test out the food and everything was delicious from the wine to the meal to the dessert, they were impressed (PS we are Italian & we are picky & specific.) We had 14 months from booking to our wedding date on 10/15/16. Over that time period Michael was SO responsive, helped me make other decisions, gave his professional experienced guidance, and assisted ANY silly request or question I had. Over the course of the year we visited the Ramsey for a few meetings and dinners, and always truly enjoyed our experience, our dinner and our interactions with Michael and all of the staff. Leading up to the big day I was not a calm bride (AT ALL) but I had not one worry about the venue with everything in Michaels & his staff’s hands. In the end my parents ended up loving Michael and the Ramsey just as much as we did, he really made sure we were ALL happy. From the moment I stepped on the grounds at Ramsey on my wedding day, I was treated like a queen (thank you Maggie ). We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside in October and it was everything I ever dreamed of and PICTURE PERFECT. Michael coordinated everything from the timeline of the day, the photos, the bridal party, reception, cocktail hour everything was so seamless. From there- during the cocktail hour, I have a gluten allergy, and Michael had already set up all my requests gluten free for my husband and I in the bridal suite, we went up to cocktail hour and everything was set the way we requested, people were raving about the food. From there the reception, the timing, the lighting, the service, the food, to the cake cutting, to the very last dance was PERECTION I do not have one complaint. He even made the end of the night seamless with his staff packing up all our things and handling the final bill. The entire night guests and even vendors were complimenting me on the venue & the food and saying it was the best wedding ever!!The Ramsey Golf & country Club along with Michael and his staff, brought all our visions into a reality, made all of our requests possible, it was a dream day, along with a very personalized experience, I wish we can relive it again. Look no further if you are looking for not your average venue in NJ – its intimate, classic, beautiful and top notch when it comes to food, service, quality and class. Besides saying yes to marrying the love of my life, the Ramsey was one of the best decisions I made! From the time our daughter got engaged and we started to do research and look for venues, I knew what type of place she (and I) wanted. Then one day I was driving by the Ramsey Golf and Country Club and decided to go and check it out and loved it from the minute I saw it. I was walking around on my own, when the Director of Catering/Events , Mr. Michael Treible, came out and offered to show me around their beautiful surroundings. Michael's relaxed and easy-going but professional manner instantly convinced me that this was going to be the venue for my daughter's wedding and he was the right person for the job. Michael is extremely knowledgeable, gracious, accommodating and approachable. When the whole family met Michael, they felt the same way. He explained all the pricing to us and we found it to be very reasonable. Throughout all the months preceding the wedding, Michael gave us priceless information, calmed our anxieties, shared advice and tips and took care of all arrangements seamlessly. On the day of the wedding, Michael and his team invisibly took care of all details without any glitches. Since the weather was unsettled that day, they even set up the chairs for the ceremony in both places-outside and inside-- just in case, -- something that I found extremely considerate, as I had been agonizing about the weather for weeks. Everything was absolutely perfect--the cocktail hour food was bountiful and delicious, the sit-down dinner was perfectly served, the organization of all the vendors, the music, the cake, the flow of the ceremony and reception--it was flawless. I really cannot find enough words for my gratitude to Michael and the entire Ramsey Golf and Country Club team, who made our daughter's wedding a spectacular event.

The Ramsey Golf and Country Club made my wedding the best it possibly could have been! From the grounds, to the ballroom, to the food everything was AMAZING! Especially Michael. He made planning my wedding as easy as possible. From the moment I arrived I was pampered and so well taken care of by him and his staff. All my guests are still talking about my wedding and how wonderful everything was! I HIGHLY recommend having your wedding here!

Absolutely gorgeous venue and the service is amazing! Michael and his team were phenomenal all of our guests were raving about the food and the service. We could not be happier with how perfect everything was they really made sure that everything went according to our plan. As the bridge and groom they made sure that we were taken care of from the second we arrived in the morning until the very end, we didn't habe to worry about a thing!

This place is truly amazing. Michael and his staff are the best out there. They put on the wedding of our dreams. From the beautiful scenery from the incredible people who work here it truly exceeded our exceptions. Not only did they put on the best wedding we could ever dream for they really do work with you. From whatever crazy requests you have (which we did!) they will do anything to make you happy and not worry about anything. I would highly recommend this venue and could not speak highly enough of the staff and how great they were!!!!

Everything was gorgeous and we were so well taken care of, but the entrees were really just OK. Overall, it was the perfect setting for a bride on a budget!

Words cannot express how thankful we are to Michael and everyone at Ramsey Golf and Country Club for making our wedding perfect! Michael guided us from beginning to end and really got to know us, and our likes and dislikes. I can be a little bit of a perfectionist and tend to worry about the small details, Michael knew that and made sure I didn't have to worry about a single thing at the wedding. Everything from the table linens, to the outside ceremony area, to the food was wonderful! Our guests could not believe the amount of food at the cocktail and how delicious everything was. Everyone I talked to after the wedding commented on how beautiful the golf course and grounds were, and how romantic the scenery was, and we couldn't agree more! On top of the wonderful food, atmosphere, and service, RGCC was one of the most accommodating and affordably priced venues my husband and I looked at! We would 100% recommend Ramsey Golf & Country Club !

I have Ramsey Country Club to thank for one of the most amazing nights of my life. From the first email I sent Michael Treible through Donna Summer's "Last Dance" we had the most amazing experience with this vendor. Michael was always quick to respond, said "Yes" to all the crazy things I requested and took care of me and my family day of. For example, morning of Michael went out and rented different tables for us because he knew they would work better with my centerpieces. When I inquired about the type of sauvignon blanc in house he went out and got a case of Marlborough specific for me. He always made sure we had a drink/food in hand and inquired throughout the night that we were okay. When you are micromanaging a production this large all the little things Ramsey does for you really adds up to a great experience. The venue was beautiful, my guests can not stop talking about how good the food and service was, specifically cocktail hour. This is your place, trust me!

One reviewer mentioned that RGCC was a "Hidden Gem", they're not kidding! From the moment I had pulled into the parking lot, I knew this was the place I wanted to have our wedding reception. The inside is just as charming as the warm, welcoming outdoor area! We knew we did not want to have the same old run-of the mill wedding reception as all the ones we have been they all began to blend together. Upon seeing the ballroom, we knew we found our unique place! Michael was fantastic off the bat! He had helped us with not only RGCC needs, but also, provided us some insight regarding pictures, entertainment, timelines etc. The day of our wedding Michael was just the biggest help he made sure our timing was on point, and even made sure we ate! Jacqueline was AMAZING! She bustled my dress, made sure I had all my belongings and lipstick and was such a huge help alongside Mike. Michael even convinced us, (more so me), to wear our high school varsity jackets during introduction into the ceremony since our schools were rivals in sports. The food was amazing!! We are still receiving compliments to this day from guests regarding the cocktail hour, dinner and especially dessert (the mudpie was to die for)! We could not have made a better choice of venue for our perfect day! Thanks to all at Ramsey Golf & Country Club and can't wait to come back soon!

What a Perfect Day and an Amazing Venue!! We had our wedding this past July 25, 2015. We definitely made the right choice with RGCC. We worked with Michael T. Michael was AWESOME to work with from the beginning to the end and he is very straight forward. Michael and his staff did an Excellent Job taking care of us especially making sure we (Bride & Groom) ate during our cocktail party on our Wedding day. The food was delicious and our guests loved it! We also took a lot of gorgeous/amazing pictures especially the outside. Thank you again!! We highly recommend this venue and you will not regret it.

My husband and I held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Ramsey Golf and Country Club in the beginning of November. Even though we only had 60 guests max, we felt we received the same amount of attention as a 200 guest wedding. Our maître d', Michael Treible was so easy to work with. Michael is extremely organized, quick to respond and always very reassuring that the day would go well. What truly stood out to us was that we were given the entire place all day. No weddings were before or after ours so nothing felt rushed. We were able to choose our own times for the ceremony and reception. My husband and I loved getting to experience the beautiful fall scenery for the ceremony during the day and still had the opportunity to see the place lit up at night. Having good food was a must for us. Our guests raved about everything. They especially enjoyed the lamb chops, penne vodka, filet mignon and the cheesecake. Ramsey Golf and Country Club way exceeded our expectations! Our wedding was everything we wanted and more, thanks to Michael and his staff. There's nothing we wished we would have done differently.

If I could give infinity stars I would!! This goes for the venue coordinator: Michael & team (we had the pleasure of working w/ Jackie), grounds & food! We were lucky to find the Trifecta! I say “lucky” bc we had an unfortunate experience with a previously contracted venue… 4 months before our wedding day. With 4 months to go, Save the Dates sent, hotel rooms blocked, rehearsal dinner planned the unfortunate experience had me VERY upset &skeptical about ANY wedding vendor. I found this venue while searching on the Knot and fell instantly head over heels…with the pictures (& even more in love in person)…& it got better & better from there! I contacted Michael & miraculously our wedding date that we had been planning to for 16 months was THE LAST Saturday in the Summer he had available (talk about MEANT TO BE!) We made an appointment with Michael (who was so thankfully accommodating to our schedules & met us later in the evening) & we clicked right away with him. My skepticism vanished & not only did I want to get married here but I wanted to do so with Michael running the show!! Having explained our previous experience to Michael, he really went out of his way to set our minds at ease & went above & beyond as far as making sure that we had the MOST incredible Wedding Day that not even I could have imagined! Everyone will ask after the wedding if everything went well… I can honestly & happily say YES – IF there were problems… they were handled without my knowledge. Enough about Michael – though I could go on & on...The grounds: The ceremony area is breathtaking & comfortably fit our 150 guests – near by the lake amongst beautiful tall trees, & at sunset the sun illuminated us as we took our vows which was heaven-sent for sure. Everyone I spoke to that day raved about how GORGEOUS the place is. The golf course was available to snap unbelievable pictures amongst the lush green lawns. The cocktail/reception areas are equally as beautiful, especially the atrium area downstairs which almost makes you feel as though you’re sitting under the stars as the night progresses. These also comfortably fit our guests (dance floor & all!) Additional bonuses offered here: There is a bar that guests could hang out at if they arrived early which was nice since we had two rounds of buses at different times; there is a bridal suite that was available for me & my bridesmaids to get ready & take pictures in as well as for the ring bearer to take a nap later in the evening ;) The choices that the venue offers for cocktail hour were remarkable (from a variety perspective as well as taste) & were plentiful! I have received only great comments about the reception food (we ourselves didn’t get to eat that much - our own mistake, but what we did nibble on was delicious!) Everyone seemed quite impressed with the food – the filet was cooked as ordered – not over/under cooked… the sole stuffed with crab was a HUGE hit & even the grilled chicken breast (which is extremely hard to not dry out) I’ve heard was delish! The alcohol selection that the venue offers as their standard has great choices & the ability to upgrade a bottle for no charge was much appreciated as my husband is a scotch aficionado. The desserts seemed to never end (in a good way!) aside from our wedding cake, the venue served a decadent chocolate cake & had chocolate covered strawberries served on EVERY TABLE!!! When searching for Wedding Venues... This is the place and Michael is your MAN!!
