RaynerShine Events is a wedding planning company based in New Orleans, LA. Our team creates colorful and customized events according to couples' visions. Whether it's an intimate dinner or a large-scale event with over 300 guests, RaynerShine Events covers all the bases.
We love working with couples who really enjoy the wedding planning process, such as choosing colors, venues, florals, etc. We organize your selections by timeline development, communication your chosen vendors and complete event management. While we focus on month and day-of coordination, we are happy to do as much as needed including sourcing vendors on your behalf, easing the weight off your shoulders. Upon an initial meeting, discussing your big (or even little!) day, vision etc, we'll provide you with some tools to assist you on your planning journey. We'll check in periodically as the big day approaches and then meet to go over finite details, timing, special instructions and more. We have worked in a multitude of venues throughout New Orleans and in addition, we understand space, venue infrastructure and how it relates to the set up and flow of your event. We know what questions to ask, how to organize details and how to troubleshoot without you ever knowing, to make your special day an utmost success.
No two weddings are alike, and we LOVE that. We will advocate for you every step of the way and aim to make your visions achievable, affordable and organized. We can't wait to hear from you!

I can't recommend Kelly & her team enough. I hired Kelly for my destination wedding in New Orleans, and from our first intro call I knew that she understood my vision for an untraditional wedding. Everything from the decor to her communication exceeded my expectations, all within my limited budget. I wouldn't have changed a thing about my wedding day!
Overall:
-Amazing communication and follow through. When the team said they were going to do something, they did it well and on time. I never had to chase anyone down for answers.
-I appreciated how transparent the team was about costs, plus the guidance on where I should spend the bulk of my budget to create the experience I wanted for my guests.
-Kelly has worked with just about every vendor in New Orleans and was able to steer me to the right people with the decor I was looking for.
-The level of creativity and eye for design is 10/10. I am a creative person and didn't think I needed help in this department, but when it came to decor on a budget without breaking venue guidelines, this service was one I'm so so glad I paid for.

I highly recommend working with Kelly!
As someone with professional event planning experience, I initially wasn’t sure if I needed a wedding coordinator. My main goal was to have someone handle vendor coordination on the wedding day so I could truly relax and enjoy the moment. However, Kelly went above and beyond my expectations!
We met a few months before the wedding, and she immediately brought up important details I hadn’t even considered. Her insight and expertise made the entire planning process smoother and more enjoyable.
Beyond my own experience, my matron of honor—who owns a restaurant and catered our wedding—was so impressed by Kelly that she hired her for her cousin’s wedding and other events.
Having been a bridesmaid in 10 weddings and a maid of honor three times, I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming last-minute tasks and vendor coordination can be. Thanks to Kelly, my bridal party and I didn’t have to track a single detail. I don’t think I had to text or call a single vendor on my wedding day—Kelly was on top of everything!

Kelly was incredible for our day of coordinator for our French Quarter wedding!! She was extremely organized and her vendor coordination really allowed us to enjoy our wedding day! We felt like guests and not the hosts of our wedding which I think is extremely important! She knew things about getting married in the quarter that we didn’t know was really able to guide us. Kelly is also super sweet and very responsive. Couldn’t recommend her more for your wedding!

Kelly was incredible! With 150 guests and a second line, we had a lot of moving parts, but she handled everything flawlessly. We had Kelly for our month of planner for a 200 person NOLA wedding at NOMA. Once we hired her, we knew we needed her for the rehearsal dinner too! She was extremely responsive, organized, and familiar with all of the vendors in New Orleans. She was able to help us find and hire a second line band for our rehearsal dinner which was one of the best parts of our weekend. On the wedding weekend, it was immensely helpful to have her there to keep everything on time and organized. On the day of, my mom and I could truly enjoy our day getting ready, knowing that Kelly was at our venue handling everything! I have been in 9 weddings as a bridesmaid, and I can say with confidence that Kelly is the calmest and kindest planner! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a planner!! We couldn’t have done it without her.

Kelly and Lindsey are amazing. I first used Kelly for my older daughter’s wedding a last minute decision, 2 months from the wedding. She was amazing. Handled every detail was incredibly quick to respond to all of my “mom of the bride” anxious questions. Along comes daughter #2…first vendor booked was Kelly. My contact for this wedding was Lindsey and she was as amazing as Kelly, she couldn’t have picked a better person to resemble herself. Both of these ladies are amazing to work with. I never worried about anything. If you are considering a wedding planner, just go ahead and book her. I promise you, you will not be disappointed. Thanks Kellyvand Lindsey, you are the best!

Kelly went above and beyond to help us on our wedding day. She made sure that we had the best wedding ever. Everyone gave us so many compliments. She helped us lay out the floor plan at our untraditional venue. It rained on our wedding day and Kelly made lots of quick day of changes due to the weather. Overall, I wouldn’t change anything about my wedding including the fact that Kelly was our day of coordinator. I highly recommend choosing Kelly as your day of coordinator if you want to have the New Orleans wedding of your dreams.
