RC Special Events

It has been 10 years since I used a rental service and that was in California. I searched around and after a bit I found RC Special Events. I could not be more pleased with the service. Melissa was perfect to work with. She helped me pick out just the right items. The delivery was exact and I was able to get my items easily the morning before my back yard event. Everything I needed was there without a problem. And the pick up was also perfect. The delivery and pick up fellows were so helpful and friendly. I didn't need a huge amount of items, tables, cloths, napkins and chairs mainly. I was worried that my event wasn't huge and maybe I wasn't worth dealing with, absolutely wrong on that one! I was treated as if I had a huge cooperate event! The Bridal Shower went off exactly as I had hoped it would and RC Special Events, Melissa and the others I worked with when I called in to make a change or add something to my order made it all happen. Thanks RC and staff!

Kathleen was incredibly helpful and so easy to work with for our daughter's wedding. Everything was delivered on time and looked beautiful at the venue. I will definitely use RC Special Events for rental needs in the future!

[Fort Collins, CO location] Super easy to work with. Loved their stainless steel rope flatware (they only thing we rented from RC). They even gave me a courtesy call to remind me to pick up our flatware--which saved us on a hectic wedding-eve!

I used the RC Events in Fort Collins. I reached out to them for a quote and they gave me the best price for what I was getting. I worked with Kelsey their wedding specialist. She was extremely helpful. Working with me from day one, even doing a walk through with me to make sure that we were all on the same page. I met with her several times after that and before the wedding. She even made time for me to come and double check on the linen colors in person because I was freaking out about them. She wanted to make sure that I was happy with absolutely everything. I never waited longer than 24 hours to hear from her if I had any questions or concerns. They were prompt and quick with set up and tear down. Everything looked beautiful and I would definitely recommend them! Oh we also used them for my bridal shower and the only problem I had then was that a couple of the chairs were broken but they were extra anyways. Otherwise for the wedding they provided a pole tent, lighting package, tables, linens, chairs, and a cake stand. It was a very large wedding so we had a lot coming from them. All of those things were in good condition.

RC rentals, especially Janna, were an absolute pleasure to work with for our recent wedding. Janna was attentive to our every need and the rest of the staff did an excellent job. They were very professional, on time, and had some very good suggestions. Janna took significant amounts of time to help us figure out exactly what we needed—she was familiar with what is available in the area and helped us cut costs and still take care of everything we might need. If you’re planning a wedding, we highly recommend RC Rentals.

Although we got the amount of tables/chairs we requested and needed, the delivery service is awful. They did not come in the 5 hour block of time they told us they would arrive, which was a hassle since we had to coordinate this with our venue. They also did not pick up the items when they said they would - they were three days late picking up the rental items that we had rented for one day! We were concerned they would never show up and then we would be charged for extra time! When we called about it, every time the dispatcher said they would send someone and didn't. Finally, they picked up the items after making people wait for days and not following through with what they had initially promised, much to the chagrin of the venue and everyone who took turns checking on the items.

RC Special Events has a great selection of all things party -- tables, linens, dinnerware, silverware, glassware, chairs, ceremony items, lanterns...the list goes on! They are reasonably priced but I was hoping to pay less. The staff is also very friendly, though most of the coordinating for our rentals was done through our caterer. Would recommend for anyone looking for things to rent in Boulder.
