REA Events & Designs

We found REA Events and Designs through The Wedding Cafe. We have also seen China’s company at bridal expos. We really liked the wide variety of linens and designs that she and her company have to offer. China is a bit hard to get ahold of, but when you do get ahold of her, she is very professional, helpful, and accommodating! Her assistant, Tracy, is also very nice and helpful too! When we met with China for our consultation, she told us that she got started in this business because her dad used to work in theater design. We knew that she would be good once she told us that. She was so easy to talk to and also had great ideas for us. We really enjoyed meeting with her! When we told her our wedding colors (which were sapphire blue, glittery gold, and red), she made several suggestions based on our color scheme. She showed us different linen options and pictures of work that she had done in the past. We ended up choosing gold lame’ chair covers with royal blue satin sashes for our guests. We also did a royal blue linen for the head table and a red rosette linen for our cake table. In addition to those, she did twinkle lights behind the head table and royal blue uplighting for the room. She told us that these colors would pop and would look nice together. On our wedding day, our guests were shocked at how gorgeous our ballrooms came out. It was a total transformation. She created the ‘wow’ factor that we wanted our guests to have. I thought that everything looked SO good and that her opinion of how everything would look was right! She was spot on with her recommendations! China has a GREAT eye for design. She is VERY professional. I would definitely recommend her company to other people.

We found REA Events & Designs at a bridal expo, and I really liked their offerings. They had a great diversity of linen, uplighting, and other rental items. China and her team blew me away with their beautiful set up on my wedding day. I was so very happy and pleased with all of the work that they did. Communication was a little difficult at times, but it is only because they are busy, not only on weekends, but also during the week putting together all different types of events. If I ever have another large party, I would go and see China and her team to provide their services.

The REA events team was awesome. Although they arrived a little late they were able to set up everything I ordered on time. The lights and lanterns were hung quickly and the lounge furnitures were placed were I needed them. The furniture and lights were the perfect touch to my cocktail style wedding.

China and her team are terrific! I contacted several companies regarding rentals of chairs and table linens. Most seemed to have the same or similar products but REA stood out above them all. I was even told that REA carries a style of chair that no other vendor on Oahu carries. Not only are the chairs different - you can dress them up with add on covers that are spectacular. I was planning a destination wedding from the West Coast so communication was a challenge. China stays very busy and I now understand why. She does phenominal work and the room for my reception was breathtaking. The fabrics and the colors fit my theme perfectly and the end result took my ideas to a whole new level. These are not your typical hotel linens by any means. I would recommend REA Events and Designs over and over again.
