ids and I entered the limo to head to the venue, we were hit with an overwhelming stench of manure. No one was sure where exactly this scent came from but every group that took the shuttle informed me of the same smell. Next, our driver got lost on several occasions taking us to the actual wedding and even turned onto the off ramp coming off of 279 going to wrong way into traffic. He had to back up into oncoming traffic to avoid cars coming off of the ramp. Because of this, he was late picking up my husband and his groomsmen and kept informing me he would “do his best” to get them on time. The driver kept blaming his tardiness on traffic and not the fact that he had no idea where he was going. The trip from the Renaissance Hotel to the National Aviary is a 1 mile trip and should have taken no more than 6-10 minutes. Unfortunately, we were in the limo for double of that time causing the driver to be late getting the rest of the bridal party.

Unfortunately, my husband and I did not have a great experience with our driver from Red Carpet Limo. The hummer limousine was beautiful and exactly what we expected. The staff up until the day of the wedding was also easy to work with. However...

, our driver caused nothing but problems. The driver had to ask for directions to a pre-planned location and then still missed it causing a 15 minute detour. At another stop, where we informed he we would only be about 5 minutes, he drove off for over 20 minutes with everyone's cell phones, our wedding rings, and our vow books in the limo. After our ceremony, we did a sparkler exit from our venue to the limo. The limo driver decided on his own to start lighting people's sparklers even though we were not yet ready. And during our last photo stop, he decided to get out of the limo and have commentary about our photo location as we're trying to shoot. The driver added a lot of extra stress to the day and really made the limo experience a let down. The most frustrating part is that my husband reached out to Red Carpet the day after our wedding to inform them about the issues with the driver and they have never responded.

The party bus was great for the wedding transportation and was very clean/spacious. They were very easy to communicate with and arrived on time. We did miss our exit to return to the reception, but that did not effect our timeline much.
