The proposed cost was SO reasonable compared to others we toured. The redone guest rooms were beautiful and almost every one of them has a water view. I know our family and friends would have loved staying there. The staff was so kind and capable and the venue is beautiful. We ended up choosing another venue, but Red Jacket was a very close second. I will recommend it to any of my friends who get engaged.

The day of coordinator is amazing and checked in with us frequently staying up to date on state regualtions and changes during the pandemic. As much as we loved our venue and had an amazing wedding night. It is important to keep these few things in mind that we were not fully aware of until our wedding day: * If guests are present and in the pool, they will not be asked to exit the pool for your wedding ceremony or event. Ask clarifying questions when the word "private" is used during the tour. * We had a "private fire pit" that had Red Jacket guests at it that were not part of our wedding during our wedding and no Red Jacket staff asked people to leave/move. It was clear they were not part of our wedding because they were in bathing suits. * If you are bringing a dog and get approval for this, make sure you remind them and check in this several times as the front desk forgot this (even though we were the bride and groom and this was part of our contract). With that being said, we had a beautiful wedding and will remember our night forever. Thank you Red Jacket!

The cocktail hour and reception were table service with COVID guidelines and guests expressed friendly service. We felt the same- everyone was so kind and everything was delicious! Our guests raved about how delcious the food and drinks were. Our wedding was a few days ago and we are still receiving positive messages about how delicious, organized, and beautiful everything was! The staff are also so friendly, helpful, and organized. A very important element of our wedding that helped it be amazing and successful was the coordinator, Karen Rood. Karen is organized, kind, creative, and is always one step ahead. Her organization, kindness, and creativity are qualities in her we will always value. Especially given our wedding took place during COVID. Karen was consistently making sure we were up to date with our wedding timeline and following all safety guidelines while also maintaining the beauty, love, and fun of a wedding. She has a plan for every situation and is prepared for your wedding to be wonderful - no matter what. The resorts cottages and hotel rooms also add convenience to the weekend for your guests. Being able to walk to our wedding and walk back to a room or cottage helped our guests have worry free fun! Our bridesmaids and groomsmen were also able to all stay together in cottages and suites. They loved them! There is a lot of space to get ready and spend time together both inside and outside! My husband I both feel that you can put 100% of your trust in Red Jacket Beach Resort and Karen Rood for an amazing stress free wedding planning process and wedding. with my multiple times to go over the plan for the wedding weekend. She answered all of my questions and helped me every way she could. On our wedding day there was supposed to be a hurricane. The whole time Karen helped us all stay calm and assured us it would all work out, even if we had to go to plan B. By some miracle, it cleared up in the afternoon and they were able to pull off plan A, which was having the ceremony outside on the lawn. It was the most perfect day, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the Red Jacket and their staff. Would recommend to anyone! Our experience was perfect!

"We never knew it was here." Throughout the planning and actual wedding, Karen Rood was very helpful, accommodating, and made our meetings fun. The food was delicious. Chef John Payne and his staff prepared a fabulous buffet. We were able to choose the selections. The Red Jacket does offer many other dining options. The Red Jacket Beach Resort has different hotel accommodations for you and your guests, including a complimentary multi-bedroom hospitality villa for your wedding day. It was wonderful to have this place for the bridesmaids to get ready. The groomsmen went to play golf in the morning. The package included a complimentary round of golf for two. There is also a complimentary wedding night room for the wedding couple. Make sure you check all that the Red Jacket Beach Resort has to offer for your special day. We are so thankful we had our wedding there.

Karen Rood, our wedding planner, was so helpful with anything we needed up until and the day of the wedding. All phone calls and emails were promptly answered which was extremely helpful, she was there anytime we needed her. Karen was so helpful during the rehearsal and the wedding day, she made sure everything was perfectly set up and on schedule. Right after the ceremony Karen made sure we had a cold beverage handed to us, she even made our plates of food so we were able to eat right away before getting up to socialize. It was a pleasure to work with Karen, we never had to worry about a thing. The food was AMAZING, what a wonderful job Chef John did. Everything was delicious from the salad to the desert, so many friends and family members were talking about how good everything was. My husband and I were very pleased how the day ran so smoothly, we were able to enjoy every minute of it thanks to the help of the staff. We will defiantly be going back just to enjoy a nice meal and a drink at their Asa Eldridge Pub! Thank you for making our day as special and amazing as we could have imagined.

They were also there for ANYTHING we needed, including everything from patiently reassuring us our weather contingency plan would work if we needed it (thankfully the weather cooperated!), to personally helping us load the cars at the end of the weekend, and greeting us at breakfast the day after the wedding! All of our guests loved the venue and had a ball as well, and commented on the great service, great food, and wonderful vibe the resort has! We are VERY happy with how everything went, and look forward to returning at some point to vacation in the future!

to get hair and makeup done there. Hannah Menard, our event coordinator, was very helpful and accommodating. We had a wonderful ceremony on the beach complete with white chairs and a beautiful arch. We went right to their tent next to the beach for cocktail hour, and then up to the ballroom for the reception. Everything went so smoothly, there was none of the logistical waiting time normally had with a church ceremony and a reception across town. Many friends told me that this was the best wedding they had ever been to.

They did a beautiful job setting everything up and we went right into cocktail hour which was held outside. The display of the food at cocktail hour exceeded my expectations and they even put the fire pit on for us. It was completely magical and the view was just breathtaking. The cottage we had for two nights was a perfect spot for myself as the Bride and Bridesmaids to get ready in before the ceremony. I highly suggest booking that the night before your big day. You won't regret it and will have a beautiful view of the water and beach. If your doing a first look, it's the perfect spot, the beach is right across from the cottage and private from the other hotel guests. My Husband and I were even given a complimentary ocean view room the night of our wedding and it was just what we needed to top the perfect night. Our reception was beautiful and the set up was just incredible. We truly could not thank the Red Jacket Staff enough for all they have done to make our wedding dream come true. The Red Jacket went above and beyond for us and our guests and we are so grateful for them. Everyone is talking about how this was one of the best weddings they have ever been too and we have Red Jacket to thank for that!

Hannah made all of the paperwork easy to complete from a distance, sending it electronically, and corresponding promptly with us. We offered a room block at the hotel for our guests, and we were updated on the status of our room block, as it filled. Upon arrival for our wedding weekend, we were able to drop off all of our favors and decorations with the event staff, knowing everything would be arranged exactly as I had intended. Each part of our wedding day went perfectly. Each item and detail we reviewed with Hannah was carried out exactly as we had pictured! The staff throughout the day could not have been nicer or more accommodating to us. The staff at the Red Jacket made special accommodations for my grandmother, who is wheelchair-bound, making the entire day easily accessible for her. The ceremony space was set up beautifully, and staff helped keep non-wedding hotel guests a respectful distance from our ceremony. The food and drinks throughout the weekend were phenomenal, with Mike O'Brien providing wonderful and personalized bar service to us with a "signature cocktail," offered just for our wedding. Appetizers and dinner for all of our guests were amazing. My husband and I received a lot of positive feedback about the meals served! Karen Rood, the food and beverage manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! She was so thoughtful, and even helped us re-pack our decoration items to bring back home! We also opted to have an ice cream novelty cart in the later part of our reception. Our guests loved this touch! It is a very creative and fun offering from the Red Jacket. The Red Jacket's accommodations did not stop at the reception; they allowed us to use the Asa Eldrige Pub for drinks following the reception. I truly cannot say enough positive things about our experience at the Red Jacket Beach Resort. I highly recommend this venue, and feel extremely confident that this venue will take care of every detail with professionalism and care. The service from Karen, Hannah, Dianne and Mike was amazing! Our guests raved as we did about the food ...every meal was just delicious! We cannot say enough about our choice here! A special thanks to the food and beverage supervisor, Karen she was awesome to work with and very helpful and knowledgeable. The food was amazing, our friends and family are still raving about how delicious the food is there. Last but not least, Hannah Menard was great to work with as well. On the day of the event, I wasn't concerned at all as she had it all covered and I was able to just enjoy the day. It was exactly what we were looking for in a venue, a place that our friends and family could join us in celebrating our two families becoming one. I worked in events for the last 10 years and this was my least stressful event, which speaks tremendously to their staff. needed. They were on top of EVERYTHING. Our day ran very smoothly and I could not have been happier walking down the aisle- everything I asked Hannah to set up looked perfect! Hannah was awesome- she made sure everything that day was just as I pictured. Everything was organized and I was able to enjoy my day without any other worries. She even got me in touch with the bartender so I could have him make my favorite drinks for the wedding! As soon as the ceremony ended, they had my signature margarita ready for me to go off to pictures! Hannah helped me figure everything out from the day we booked, up until the second I had to walk down the aisle. Karen helped us a lot at the rehearsal dinner as well as on the wedding day along with Hannah. Karen made sure my grandmother got a meal she could eat and made sure we were all happy with what we got. They even brought out a plate of French fries to our wedding reception for me and my husband after they saw me picking off one of the little kids plates! All of the food was delicious, and all of the guests had many different options to choose from. I cannot thank these two enough. They are so kind, generous, and attentive and I am so happy they were there to make my wedding day so special. The Red Jacket is just a gorgeous venue, we got married right outside in front of the water and got some incredible pictures with the beautiful scenery around us. I will recommend this place to any future bride if they don't want to have to worry about anything on their big day! Everything was absolutely perfect and we could not have been happier! If you are planning a wedding here I would recommend getting one of their cottages for the bridal parties, that is what we did and it made it so we all had plenty of room to get ready- I think one of these is complimentary in the wedding package but we had upgraded to a larger cottage because I had 7 bridesmaids all getting ready. A room for me and my groom was also complimentary with the package. Overall my wedding was an amazing experience, of course just went by too fast!

The food was out of this world - I was really impressed with the quality of the food as well as the service. Top notch operation! The setting is absolutely beautiful - the wedding party took pictures on the beach while the outdoor cocktail hour ensued . The setting is just so intimate and inviting - a huge bonus as a destination wedding is that the resort is open and your guests will have a beautiful place to stay as well. We could not be more happy with our experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an intimate setting for a family wedding. Again - we really can't say enough about how pleased we were with everyone on the staff at the Red Jacket!

Having been to many weddings at pretigious hotels on the waterfront in Boston I feel the Red Jacket cuisine and service surpassed the Boston hotels. The waitstaff was amazingly accommodating and when one elderly guest arrived saying health reasons prohibited her from eating beef or chicken, within minutes she was provided with a tasty fish dinner that she loved. I appreciate the kitchen going above and beyond to accommodate our guest. Karen, the go-to person was amazing and offered suggestions that we found helpful. Without Karen I think many things might have slipped by. Karen has been in the industry for many years and is a wealth of knowledge! God Bless Her! All our guests had a fabulous time and we will return for another celebration. Thanks to everyone at the Red Jacket for making my daughter's dream come true.

and fun to work with. We never worried about anything getting taken care of with Hannah at the helm. Hannah coordinated our florist, DJ, baker, and decorated our tables for us. The venue has a gorgeous view of the Atlantic Ocean and Cape Cod salt marshes. We had the cocktail hour by the beach under the Red Jacket's tent. The hors d'oeurves were excellent and service superior. Food was constantly available and tables were kept clean. We had many out of town guests not familiar with Cape Cod and they were able to all stay at the resort and enjoy Cape Cod in one place all together! We had a gap between the church ceremony and reception, so guests were able to relax at the Red Jacket. The entire staff - managers, bartender, waiters, waitresses - was available and ready to help at every turn. We had a plated dinner of clam chowder (EXCELLENT), beef tenderloin (SUPERB) and swordfish (SUPERB). Best wedding dinner I have ever had and many guests mentioned this as well. Another bonus is the Red Jacket only has one wedding per day, so we were able to be flexible with our timeline and not work around another wedding. This allowed for the highly personal service we received. The Red Jacket has it all! Location and superb service!

Customer service is top notch and you get the attention you need as they only do one wedding a day so it's never rushed or feeling like a wedding factory. Only negative is they do require a two night stay for weekend weddings so people who are close by that just want to stay the night are sort of forced into the whole weekend of they want to stay there. Which worked out great for us we held a welcome party Friday night in the beautiful beachside pavilion and firepit area. Also, your wedding here will be indoor/outdoor you can have the ceremony outdoors on lawn or beach, cocktail hour in the tent but reception must be inside since amplified music is not allowed outside at night here. The rain plan is on point though because if it does rain on your wedding day you can still get married Oceanside under the tented pavilion. There are also various sized cottages on the property for rent as well which is a neat option for guests! We rented the beachside cottage and it was amazing getting ready which gorgeous ocean views. Anyway as you can see I loved this venue so much I will be going back just to stay for vacation!!!

I would recommend the Red Jacket to any beach lover looking for a classic Cape Cod landscape for their wedding day. Our pictures came out insanely beautiful and it was a day we will never forget.

ing. I wanted to get married on the beach, more specifically on the sand. We looked at many beautiful venues but most lacked a great plan B weather contingency plan. The Red Jacket has a great rain location, a tent right next to the beach with amazing views of the water. Only a few of our guests live on the cape, so I wanted a venue that had cottages for the wedding party and guests coming from out of town. We rented two cottages right next to each other for wedding party. It was great. We had a nice long weekend for the wedding (Thursday-Sunday). The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Our glasses were never empty. They made a point that we sat down and ate. We had a buffet but they brought a plate with a selection of everything from the buffet to the groom. I am a very picky eater; they brought me a special plate of plain pasta and butter. Linda and her staff took allergy restrictions very seriously. I have several allergies, but did not have to worry about what I ate or drank. The Food and Beverage Director, Linda Boyer was fantastic! I honestly can’t express how amazing she was! She did everything! Every time we were at the main resort she was there, from check-in on Thursday to check-out on Sunday. When we checked-in she met with us to go over all the plans for the wedding. On Friday, she coordinated our whole rehearsal (which was not easy, it was like herding cats). She was at the resort all day on Saturday and helped with everything from printing my vows to telling the wedding party when to walk down the aisle. She was very attentive and friendly to the whole wedding party. She helped check us into our room after the wedding and was back to work bright and early overseeing the brunch. She was always smiling and happy to help. She is truly worth her weight in gold. Absolutely the best wedding venue on Cape Cod!

Jyl was wonderful to work with - she was in contact with us consistently and offered much needed guidance and reassurance. On the day of our wedding she took all our decorations and set up the reception ballroom perfectly! She understood my vision and brought it to life. In addition to Jyl, the wait staff, bartenders, reservation staff, housekeeping, (basically the entire staff) all went above and beyond to ensure not only our day but our whole weekend was perfect. Everyone was friendly and always greeted us with a smile as we walked by. Our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the service, food, and beautiful grounds.
