Throughout the months we all worked together, Angela was great about answering thoroughly all the many emails regarding each stage of the wedding process, and she was always willing to have phone conferences on any wedding details. Angela spent time reviewing vendor & hotel contracts, and providing us with valuable tips such as how to proceed with getting a hotel courtesy block for out-of-town guests. Angela was always thorough in providing any suggested vendors that she had already worked with and thought would work well with the bride & groom’s wedding vision. Angela was very helpful in how to work with children in a wedding party & how to coordinate their outfits which was especially helpful since those children involved in the wedding lived in different states. We had several in-person meetings that included a walk-through with the caterer, venue director and florist. Angela worked directly with the caterer in advising on table settings & layout for the event. She provided gratuity guidelines & advice on how to provide signage for wedding day displays. In addition, she conducted the Rehearsal at the venue, focusing on the Officiant Guidelines reviewed with the Bride & Groom. The list goes on, & Angela was always spot on with great advice. Throughout the process, she was always calm, so kind, easy to talk with, & her humor added so much to helping us stay at ease as our daughter, her fiance & family planned for the wedding day. We all knew Angela would manage the wedding day with total professionalism. Angela was great in how she oversaw the timeline for the event, and her skills certainly helped the event flow effortlessly during the day so that the Bride & Groom, the parents & the guests could thoroughly enjoy the wedding day celebration.

Googling ourselves to death, so took the time to get to know us and created a short list of options for us for all vendor options. What a HUGE time saver. Angela’s services are a partnership; they were great for someone like me who can manage multiple tasks at once but needs a second opinion. She will always circle back and make sure you're on top of tasks because she keeps track of everything. As much as she was "hands-off" because we didn't want someone taking over as a full blown planner, she had a great balance of assigning tasks to me and then suggesting what I can delegate to other people or just skip altogether. Since she had worked with our vendors in the past our planning process and day of were so smooth. I honestly don't think that I could have made it through my wedding day without Angela. On the day of she literally did everything leaving me the entire day to enjoy getting ready with my friends and family and to relax before the ceremony (you need this time!!!!). Better yet, my family and friends didn't have to do anything either and could relax with me! The whole day is full of anxious nerves so it was nice to know that someone I trusted was dealing with all of the stuff behind the scenes. Things come up leading up to the wedding and the day of and Angela breezed through all of it. From adjusting seating charts last minute, to starting perfectly on time (multiple people commented that it was the first wedding they had ever been to that started on time), to swapping decorations from ceremony to reception space, to dealing with unruly guests, and even triple checking to make sure I had eaten cake because she knew that it was important to me. She remembers the little things and makes sure that they happen for you. She was organized, relatable, fun to work with, dependable, and I trusted her completely. I'm a very Type-A type of person and she saved me from being a "bridezilla" because I literally didn't have to be. Everyone complains about the stress of planning weddings, but looking back I was always pretty relaxed about it because she was there to help. If you are looking for someone to help guide you through your wedding planning process you have to give Angela a call. For all of the work she did she is certainly the most reasonably priced coordinator I think I could have found. If I had to do it all over again I would hire her hands down. At the end of the night I left the wedding reception crying because I said good-bye to her and was sad. She's that awesome :) I could never thank her enough for all that she did.

s of details on the day of the wedding. So, we hired Angela for the "day of" service, but really, she did TONS of prep work leading up to the day too. In the months leading up to the wedding, I was able to talk and email with Angela about questions I had regarding vendors, etiquette, recommendations, etc. About a month before the wedding, Angela and I had a long, in-depth meeting about the wedding day. She asked me questions about details I hadn't even thought of, and she was able to bring a focus to the whole wedding planning process. If you've ever planned a wedding, you know it's CRAZY, and her help was definitely needed. Knowing a professional had control of everything put my mind at ease, or as at ease as a future brides' mind can be. We went through all of the vendors, the timeline, the food, the layout...everything! About one or two weeks before the wedding, Angela sent us a VERY detailed timeline of our wedding day, beginning at 6 AM. This schedule alone was worth what we paid her; it was SO detailed. There were many moving parts, and Angela had everything broken down by 15 minute increments, down to who was delivering the pies to the venue when. It was exactly what we needed, and I am 1000% sure that my wedding would have been a disaster without Angela and this schedule. When I arrived at the rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding, Angela was already there discussing details with my mom. They were walking between the reception and ceremony areas, moving things around and pointing. It was great to know that she had everything under control. I asked her if she needed anything from me, and she said that we were good to go for the wedding day (yay!). The rehearsal dinner was seamless, and she was able to corral our large group easily. We went through the processional and recessional, and Angela handled everything professionally and succinctly. The wedding morning went smoothly (I assume; I was getting my hair and make up done with my bridesmaids and I didn't hear from anyone, so it went smoothly for me which was the important part). We arrived at the park and everything looked beautiful beyond belief. Angela made the shelter look perfect beyond our expectations. It looked GORGEOUS, perfect, beautiful, and about a million other adjectives I can't fit in here. The wedding and reception went off seamlessly, and I literally did not have a single thing to worry about, except being sad that it was over. Angela even brought us drinks while we were waiting for our food! I cannot recommend Red Letter Day Events, and Angela, enough. It was the best money I could have spent, and if I had to do it over, I would be happy to pay her much more than her asking price. Seriously. She was a bargain, and she exceeded all of our expectations. I also want to mention that Angela was very in-tune to the type of wedding we wanted, and she went out of her way to make our day perfect for us. We didn't want a typical "box wedding" and we didn't get one. It was the perfect day and was a good reflection of my husband and I, and I have Angela to thank for that.

I wasn't able to meet her in person for our consultation, but our phone meeting went so well that I went ahead and hired her. So glad I did!!! We could NOT have pulled off the big day without her. Everything ran SO smoothly the day of -- and most importantly, if anything DID go wrong, we didn't hear about it. I get stressed so easily, so she was such a blessing to us!! If I could do it over, I would hire her so much sooner!! Thank you, Angela!!!

I am an extremely detail-oriented person and I was beyond impressed by Angela's attention to detail. The weeks leading up to the wedding were filled with finalizing endless details but knowing Angela was responsible for the logistics of the day made those weeks so much more relaxed. I was able to focus on the decorations instead of bus schedules, which made the planning process much more enjoyable. I also have to mention how incredible it was to have someone to set up on the day of our wedding. It is the personal details that make a wedding feel like your own. Angela focused on these elements and made our wedding feel personal in a way that was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Having Angela there to set up family pictures, a dessert table, signs, engagement pictures, and place cards also allowed our parents to spend the morning getting pampered with the wedding party. It is just evident that Angela knows weddings. Whether it was questions on how to word a ceremony program, timing of events, or suggesting fun new traditions, Angela was our best resource of the wedding planning process. We cannot thank Angela enough for an amazing wedding!! The only thing I would have done differently in the planning process is hire Angela sooner!!

I know that my wedding day wouldn't have gone as smoothly as it did without her. She even helped us out after the wedding - our caterer ran out of food for the last of our guests (don't ever hire Route 62 BBQ catering) and Angela made sure that we got refunded for the guests who didn't get food while we were off enjoying our honeymoon! Angela provided a detailed timeline of the wedding in 5 minute increments and kept the party on track, she contacted and confirmed our vendors, updated details, coordinated our ceremony and rehearsal and made my husband and I calm throughout the weekend. She was a pleasure to work with and we are grateful to have had her. Angela packed everything up for us and we were delighted to find all of our wedding memorabilia neatly organized and ready to take home. She got along well with our vendors and was accommodating when we wanted to hire her for more time. She is well worth the investment and we will absolutely be using red letter day events for our family's future functions.

was incredibly reasonable. We paid under $1000 and it was the best money I spent for the entire wedding. I would have paid twice as much given all the work she did for us. Angela took so much weight off my shoulders, contacting vendors and coordinating details. She put together a beautiful time line of events for the day and took care of any unexpected issues that came up during our event (Ahem...Boris, the surprise speech maker). I could plan things and take care of everything myself (I'm the Bride's mother) but my daughter insisted we hire someone simply so I could "relax" on the wedding day and enjoy the event without running around and being responsible for all the little details that undoubtably need attention. As a compromise, we contracted for a "day of" planner. I cannot sing this lady's praises enough! Angela was brilliantly organized and on top of everything. She kept track of vendors, payments, schedules, and everything else in between. She worked closely with us and was always available and sensitive to our needs; sometimes even before we knew what we needed. She kept things moving smoothly, made sure items got moved between church/reception, got things packed and loaded into our car at the end, AND stayed unflustered and cheerful throughout it all! Angela is a gem! She is definitely a "must do" on your list.

Sometimes, when you pay less, you can expect to receive service of a lesser quality. Not so in Angela’s case. Angela could not have been easier to work with or done work of a higher caliber. Angela picked up my materials a few days before the big day; on the evening of the rehearsal and the day of the wedding, everything was exactly as I had pictured it and Angela and I had spoken about. She made the vision come to life and attended to day-of details that I didn't even know to consider. Angela meticulously arranged tables, placed centerpieces, organized food, set-up the guestbook, menus, and place-cards, and coordinated with my other vendors (florist, musicians, etc., ). Truly, all my husband and I had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves. We received so many compliments about how beautiful everything was. Although most of our items were Do-It-Yourself, we could not have done it without Angela. I cannot say enough good things about Red Letter Day Events.
