With a background in business, I began in the wedding industry by working for an award winning wedding florist as a business consultant. This life changing experience eventually lead me to fulfill a personal goal of becoming a wedding coordinator. I love being a part of such special events and take pride in making a client’s wedding vision a reality. I specialize in full-service event management and coordination!

We cannot thank Red Letter Day Events enough for the amazing job they did in helping us pull everything together in the final months leading up to our wedding. We were feeling totally lost and overwhelmed, but Angela came in and worked her magic, organizing every detail and ensuring everything fell into place.
She thought of so many things we never would have considered and helped guide us through decisions with such ease and expertise. Her attention to detail was incredible—everything from vendor coordination to last-minute touches was handled flawlessly.
One thing that really stood out was how well she worked with our families and other vendors. She was calm, approachable, and made everyone feel comfortable, which was so important during the hectic lead-up to the big day. It was clear that she already had great relationships with some of our vendors, which made the entire process even smoother.
Angela also took the lead in many of our meetings and helped me narrow down exactly what I wanted for our wedding day. Her guidance was invaluable, and she really listened to my ideas while offering helpful suggestions. Thanks to her, we felt so much more relaxed and confident as the wedding day approached.

Red Letter Day Events was our BEST investment for our wedding. Angela and her team were so helpful with every aspect of our day. It was so important to have someone in the planning process that knew what would work well. It was a game changer to have Angela planning alongside us and making sure everything was accounted for. Having a planner helped us relax and eliminated a ton of stress for our day. Angela and her team reached out to every vendor for confirmation of the day and made the finalizing process so easy.
On the day of, we were so relaxed knowing that Angela and her team were on top of everything and we did not have to worry one bit. If there were any issues, Angela and her team took care of it seamlessly. I felt like the most important day of our lives was in the best hands. Where do I even begin, if there is a way to make a wedding pretty much stress free Angela did it. We hired her as a partial planner since we are pretty organized on our own. Angela was there every step of the way with vendor recommendations, design recommendations and and questions we had during the wedding planning process. Through planning meetings Angela made sure we were booking vendors on time, and had us think about items we would never have thought of ourseleves. She went above and beyond to make sure my seating chart was perfect, and organized all our catering meals and help with last minute guest changes. Her team Heather and Jen were with us the day of and made the entire day run smoothly. I got to fully enjoy the day without worrying about set up, tipping vendors, and everything in between. I cannot recommend Red Letter Day enough. Thank you for making our day memorable for us, our friends, and family!

Angela and her team were absolutely amazing!!! They truly made our wedding day the best day we could have ever asked for and more. Words cannot express how truly phenomenal Angela and her team are to work with. They made our wedding day, and the months leading up to it, so much easier and more perfect than we could have ever dreamed of! As a couple that both work full-time+ careers, that is exactly what we needed.
Angela is organized, efficient, friendly, and caring. She takes the time to truly understand your vision for your wedding and goes above and beyond to make it a reality. She has a deep understanding of the industry, and provides tremendously helpful advice on what works and doesn't work. She also has an extensive network of vendor recommendations, which makes the process of hiring other vendors extremely easy.
Angela and her team ensured that we did not have to stress about anything in the weeks leading up to or the day of our wedding. They handled finalizing timelines and payments with other vendors, setting up our decor (and excessively large Youngstown cookie table), making sure the timeline ran smoothly...in sum, they ran the show and did it without flaw. Because of Red Letter Day Events, we were able to put all of our trust in Angela/team and actually be present for and enjoy every second of our wedding day. For that alone, we are eternally grateful!
While there are other choices in the Central Ohio region, Red Letter Day Events is the best bang for your buck and worth every single cent. Angela is truly the best of the best!

If I would recommend anything to a friend or family member getting married, it would be to hire Angela. Angela and Heather were phenomenal to work with. They balanced our unique requests with recommendations based on their years of experience. We hired Angela and her team for our day-of coordination. She was so helpful to us in planning our wedding day timeline and coordinating with our other vendors about a month out before our wedding. We had an untraditional cocktail style reception, which went so well because of Angela’s experience in day-of coordination and her suggestions when planning the evening with our catering team and venue. Angela was invaluable throughout the months leading up to my wedding and particularly the 30 days leading up to the wedding day. We had a unique situation with catering — we wanted a restaurant to cater that doesn’t typically do weddings, so we needed a separate catering team to come in, and she was able to make it work seamlessly. We had the BEST wedding day thanks to the RLDE team. I trusted Angela with everything and she NAILED it. Her full service package was worth every penny - from the beginning she had my back. From the vendor recommendations, decision-making support, quarterbacking everything leading up to the big day, she allowed me to focus on what was important which was being in the moment to marry my love and celebrate with my friends and family. Angela’s execution the day of the wedding was perfection. She is a boss. My wife, Erin, and I were blessed to meet Angela and her team while planning and preparing for our wedding on December 4, 2021 in Columbus. A close friend referred Angela to us. We utilized Angela for “day of” services. She not only made our actual wedding day smooth and stress-free, but also did so much leading up to the wedding: Offering practical advice, coordinating with multiple vendors, answering questions from our family, among many, many other things. Angela strongly advocated for us when dealing with our vendors, which relieved us of a tremendous amount of stress.
Additionally, the bustle on Erin’s dress broke in the middle of the reception. Who fixed it without skipping a beat? Angela and her team!

We don't know where to begin with describing how amazing Angela at Red Letter Day Events was. She made getting hitched go off without a hitch, coordinating our logistics and helping with all our vendors, mapping out the day-of items so everything was seamless, and she was always one step ahead. I can’t imagine my daughters wedding day without having Angela as our wedding planner. She ran everything so perfectly and I didn’t have to worry about one thing. I absolutely would not have been able to have my wedding without Angela. She was so amazing behind the scenes making sure everything ran smoothly. I couldn't imagine having my special day without her. We had two ceremonies and a reception all in one day and she was there for the entire thing making sure everything happened when and how it was supposed to. Angela made the final months of planning so much easier. Not only did she help so much in making sure our day went flawlessly, she was proactive in doing so. She brought solutions to problems we hadn’t even considered yet which I thought was especially telling of how great of a planner she was. Personally, my favorite part was Angela snagging one of the 20 Pizzas we ordered for late night food and hiding it away for Taylor and myself. Come the end of the night I looked over at the table and saw no pizza left and was crushed. Out of nowhere, Angela came forward holding a still hot pizza. Angela never skimped on the small things and was considerate of our time and our budget at all times. She sought to reduce costs wherever she could without reducing quality. I would recommend Angela to anyone for her thoughtfulness, thoroughness, and attention to detail.

Angela and her team at Red Letter Day Events are amazing. After having to postpone our wedding 4 times, she helped me plan a backyard wedding in less than 3 months. She made sure every detail for our special day was perfect. Angela and her team were ready bright and early to help set up everything the day of the wedding. In addition, she makes time to head over to the church with the bridal party to ensure all things run smoothly during the ceremony. From there, she went back to help finalize the special touches and worked with the DJ, photographer, caterer, and videographer to be certain that we stayed on schedule. Lastly, Angela and her team at RDL helped with the final clean-ups. I would highly recommend RDL to anyone looking to plan their wedding. She is quick to respond to an email or a text, which was so helpful for us since we were on a time crunch. She also coordinated with every vendor that we used prior to our wedding to be sure the timeline was precise for the day of the wedding and that everyone was on the same page. My sister used them as her wedding planner too and I know we will be using Angela again for more events in the future! Angela Rango really loves executing weddings well… and not only does she find joy in it- but she knows how to get it done! My husband and I are in the wedding industry and so when our daughter got married, we knew it would be a good idea to hire Angela and Red Letter Day Events for the day of service. Angela proved weeks prior to the wedding day to be invaluable with the advice she gave based on her intuitive understanding of wedding day emotions and timelines. We learned a lot from Angela! All this took place on a resort island in Michigan, Mackinac Island, Michigan. Wherever and whenever you need a competent, clear-minded, organized and over- the- top helpful wedding day planner, (and who doesn’t??) hire Red Letter Day Events!

We are so grateful to have had Angela from Red Letter Day by our side the last two years! My husband and I whole-heartedly recommend her if you are planning any kind of wedding! We are one of those couples who have dealt with the impact of COVID-19 on our wedding day. On our original wedding date August 1, 2020 we opted to have a small 10 person wedding - or “minimony” - Angela went above and beyond helping us execute a small scale wedding - doing all the little things for us that day and helping us through the process of making the decision to celebrate in this way. We postponed our bigger celebration to July 31, 2021. We had a full wedding ceremony in our church and a reception for 187 guests. Angela was there with us beforehand reviewing vendor contracts, giving us her ideas and insights, and helping us think of things we never would have. She attended extra meetings and kept us sane those last two weeks before the wedding ! The day of the wedding was so smooth and that is largely due to Angela and Taryn’s presence throughout the days events. I honestly didn’t have a worry and they handled everything. My husband and I were truly able to enjoy our day! We even got time to sit and eat our meal!!
If you think you don’t need a planner - you are WRONG.
With the craziness of having two weddings over two years, we also had the opportunity to get to know Angela pretty well and we learned that she is not only great at planning weddings, she is a genuine and kind person too. You will not regret having Angela and Red Letter Day around for your big day. She is worth every penny and then some.

Taryn was absolutely amazing at making my wedding day run smoothly. She has an eye for decor and was able to make the space look fantastic. I couldn't imagine the day without her! It was so nice to not have to deal with deliveries, setting up, tearing down, etc. She was a true rockstar who made sure I had a drink in my hand throughout dinner and even helped me get into my "reception" dress when I was getting too sweaty in my real one ;)

I don't know if I can share in one review what having Angela and Red Letter Day meant for our wedding and our sanity. I am not exaggerating when I say our wedding wouldn't have happened if we had not hired Angela. We hired Angela over a year before our wedding and she was so helpful with vendor referrals and answering my 1000 questions. But we didn't realize how much we actually needed her until about 2 months before our wedding. When DeWine announced in November that event guidelines were changing yet again we were completely devastated that our January wedding was not going to happen the way we had hoped. But Angela was right there with us. When we expressed our anxiety over having just two months to replan our entire wedding Angela said "Oh I've replanned weddings in less time than this. I've got this." The last two months before our wedding day I am quite sure that replanning our wedding was a full-time job that we just didn't have time to do. Angela essentially did it all. She helped us cut our guest list from 130 to 20, organized venue tours, coordinated with all of our vendors, and took care of all of those details that unless you're in the wedding industry you probably just don't think about. And there are SO MANY! When problems arose she didn't tell me about them until she already had a solution, which was HUGE for my sanity. And the day of the wedding went SO smoothly due to her planning, attention to detail, and focus on making our day perfect. It was the most perfect day and truly was the most beautiful wedding we've ever been to. We are so incredibly grateful for Angela and RLDE. Hiring them will be the best money you spend, I guarantee it.

Hiring a wedding coordinator was the first thing I did after getting engaged. Planning a wedding was not something that I was particularly excited about…little did I know that we would end up planning two weddings! From the minute that everyone started to panic about the COVID pandemic, Angela was there for us, talking us through our possible options. She was calm and professional, and helped to put us at ease even though, truly, no one knew what the future would hold for events (or anything else for that matter). As our wedding date grew closer and we decided to postpone the bigger event and have a small ceremony instead, Angela helped us with every step and every vendor. She made helpful suggestions that ended up making our day so much better than I had imagined it could be. Just like all of the 2020 couples, Angela didn’t sign up to helping us all plan a second wedding, or re-imagined wedding, or postponed wedding, or any of the many directions that everyone chose to take, but she never skipped a beat or seemed rattled. I would imagine if she could guide us through a pandemic, she will breeze through our actual reception when we have it (imagine how minor those wedding “hiccups” will seem after this!) We are very grateful to have Red Letter Day Events as our wedding coordinator vendor. I wish this year would have been different in so many ways, but at least for the wedding planning part of it, we had a great ally.

Angela and her team are fantastic!! Angela kept in close touch with us, helping guide us through each step of the wedding planning process and making sure we were right on track. She was always professional and very flexible given that our original wedding date had to be moved. She even helped with coordinating our small wedding ceremony ahead of the planned reception after it became apparent that our original plans were not feasible. Hiring Angela was easily the best decision we made for our wedding, which was originally schedule for May 2, 2020. Due to covid, we ended up not only having to reschedule our big celebration twice, but we lost our venue as well. Wedding planning during a global pandemic has definitely been challenging to say the least. Luckily for us, Angela has been an absolute godsend and took the lead with each bump in the road. She calmly navigated us through tough decisions and coordinated with all our other vendors to get us back on track multiple times. I don’t think we could have done it ourselves. Thanks to Angela, we are now rescheduled with a beautiful new venue in 2021 and are even more excited than the first time around. Angela has been amazing! Even though we initially hired her as a day of coordinator, she has really stepped in. She has been helping us navigate what a COVID wedding can look like (reading all contracts, giving suggestions on vendors, etc) ! I don't know how anyone plans a wedding without Angela!

Not only did she help re plan our wedding during COVID, she also was a constant sounding board for both my Mom and I during such a stressful time. She is professional, reliable, and helps guide her clients to decisions that are best for the bride and groom, not such her personal style. Not enough good words could be shared about Angela and her team. 2020 for wedding couples was not easy to say the least but Angela worked through the process with such grace through the whole wedding process with us. Making a venue change with two months to spare till our big day she worked with us through every process to ensure a smooth transition. Come to wedding day the wedding was at my home and leading up to the wedding I was nervous as ever. Fast forward to wedding day and Angela handled absolutely everything and I had nothing to be concerned about. She put me at ease through the whole process. 2020 sucked for wedding planning but Angela made it easy, less stressful, and enjoyable. I would 100% recommend her to any family/friend member.

I chose Angela after our first conversation based on how well we connected on the phone and how detail oriented she was. That was the one thing I am terrible at and for a wedding, I needed that other side to help me with our wedding day. She was so sweet and knowledgeable in the wedding field that she was my number one go-to for all things wedding related. She had everything under control and I was able to relax and completely enjoy my wedding day thanks to her!!

I know that it is not very often that the father of the bride is compelled to write a review, but if you are involved at all in your little girls' and her mothers' big day you need Angela. My wife and daughter are both very organized and creative, but there are so many things that go into making THE BIG DAY special, things that behind the scene you never would have thought about, or things that could make your PERFECT DAY less than perfect, you need Angela! She, will allow your wife/mom to enjoy the day knowing that everything will go seamlessly from start to finish, then you need Angela and you need her early on. She is uber organized, fun, knows the vendors, and when that special night winds down, and you are tired she has everything that needs to go organized, packed up and ready. So take it from a dad and husband who has been there now YOU NEED ANGELA!!

Angela from Red Letter Day Events was truly amazing!! We could not have pulled off our vision without her! She went above and beyond before, during, and after the wedding! She is on top of everything!! She thinks about all of the details small and large! After meeting her once she totally understood me (the bride), my style, and my vision. She had great ideas and input on things I questioned or wasn’t sure how to handle. She is EXTREMELY knowledgeable on all things wedding! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, everything ran smoothly! She truly created the most perfect day! I cannot praise her and her team enough! I was never stressed during the planning process or on the day of. I got to sit back and enjoy every moment!
At the beginning, I was definitely one of those brides that thought I could do it without a planner and THERE IS NO WAY! Nor would I have wanted to do that day without her! Angela was a wonderful resource and support for our son’s wedding, I can’t say enough good things about her! She is so organized and professional in her approach, which made me immediately trust her ability to make things go smoothly. She offered many helpful suggestions about vendors, decorations, logistics, points of etiquette, etc. It was obvious how much she loves her work and her experience in keeping everyone calm and focused was definitely a bonus! She knew when to give us a little nudge to move things along and when we needed a little more time. Her planning and preparations ahead of time, as well as her presence and guidance during the event, allowed us to truly enjoy the wedding and our guests. A friend of mine suggested that we hire Angela to help with my daughters wedding . I really didn't know what to expect when we met with her for the first time. I was feeling a little overwhelmed when she started telling us about all of the things that needed to be done for a wedding. But the longer we talked, the more comfortable I became. I knew if we hired Angela it would be a great decision. She did everything we asked of her and more. She was the one that contacted all of our venders and made sure that everything was were it need to be. She took all of the things that we wanted at the reception and set them all up. Everything was beautiful. Thanks to Angela I had the best time at my daughters wedding. I could enjoy myself and visit with friends and not worry about a thing because Angela had everything under control! We would definitely hire her again!

Angela was invaluable in helping my wife and I plan our wedding earlier this year. We both work in healthcare with demanding jobs and long hours and as we started realizing just how complicated the wedding planning process can be, we knew we needed to find someone who could efficiently educate us as much as organize us! Her extensive knowledge and experience with the industry was evident from our first conversation. Throughout the planning process, she was thoughtful in her approach, kind in her demeanor, and incredibly organized as she helped us stay on track with deadlines and was always more than happy to talk us through industry/vendor etiquette and review vendor proposals (something we had very little experience with). We felt confident going into the wedding itself, and the big day ran like a well-oiled machine with her at the reins. She played a pivotal role in the success of our wedding day and I highly recommend her to all!

Of all of the challenging decisions that come with a wedding, the decision to choose Angela was by far our best! It was my husband who convinced me that we should hire a wedding planner, and he couldn’t have been more right. Angela respected our vision and used her experience to help us bring it to life in the least stressful way possible. She is organized, thoughtful, caring, hard-working, and realistic. Even now, 3 months after our wedding, she is still helping us navigate through vendor contracts and complications. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, and we could not recommend her more highly! If we have another large event, we will definitely use her in the future! 10/10!!!!

Angela was great! She helped with the planning and vendor process and was literally THE PERSON on the day of the wedding. Our wedding would have not been a wedding without her. She was great with handling the vendors, timelines and helping me through stressful moments! My husband and I truly had SUCH a great experience working with Angela with Red Letter Day Events! She helped guide our planning process and helped us know what to be thinking about with each vendor choice. She also told us about our venue, which was a fantastic choice! On our wedding day, she went above and beyond with every detail... from getting a plate for the grandparents, communicating with the shuttles and the DJ, setting up, tearing down, and SO much more! I would highly suggest working with Red Letter Day Events for your event, it is absolutely worth it! It allowed us to relax, have fun, and ENJOY our day knowing that Angela had EVERYTHING covered!

I honestly can’t put into words how grateful I am to Angela. I always thought I would be a DIY bride but the amount of things I didn’t know (obviously, because I’ve never been married before) was completely overwhelming. Before even meeting Angela, she was very prompt in communication and was accommodating to setting up a convenient time and location. When we met for the consultation I felt all of my worries disappear. It felt like the biggest relief lifted from my shoulders. She went into great detail, short of planning the entire wedding, at our first meetup. Even though we only hired Angela for day of the event services, she went above and beyond what I ever expected. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and organization is unmatched. She answered literally ALL of my questions and even walked me through situations I hadn’t even thought of! Throughout the planning process she made sure to ask my vision and give great advice. Plus- she has a great sense of humor and helped keep tough situations light! On the day of the wedding, Angela not only made sure everything went off without a hitch and on schedule, but she also helped set-up the venue prior to start time. She was so friendly to all of our guests and I can’t say enough great things about her. She is worth EVERY penny and then some for how hard she worked to ensure our day was unforgettable. I truly consider Angela a friend, and if you were on the fence about hiring her as your wedding planner, I hope I’ve convinced you! She’s the BEST!

Angela was just fantastic to work with over this past year in all she did to make our daughter’s wedding such a perfect day! With so many details to cover and vendors to hire, Angela gave us such great direction in making the right choices for the wedding weekend.
Throughout the months we all worked together, Angela was great about answering thoroughly all the many emails regarding each stage of the wedding process, and she was always willing to have phone conferences on any wedding details.
Angela spent time reviewing vendor & hotel contracts, and providing us with valuable tips such as how to proceed with getting a hotel courtesy block for out-of-town guests. Angela was always thorough in providing any suggested vendors that she had already worked with and thought would work well with the bride & groom’s wedding vision.
Angela was very helpful in how to work with children in a wedding party & how to coordinate their outfits which was especially helpful since those children involved in the wedding lived in different states.
We had several in-person meetings that included a walk-through with the caterer, venue director and florist. Angela worked directly with the caterer in advising on table settings & layout for the event.
She provided gratuity guidelines & advice on how to provide signage for wedding day displays. In addition, she conducted the Rehearsal at the venue, focusing on the Officiant Guidelines reviewed with the Bride & Groom.
The list goes on, & Angela was always spot on with great advice. Throughout the process, she was always calm, so kind, easy to talk with, & her humor added so much to helping us stay at ease as our daughter, her fiance & family planned for the wedding day. We all knew Angela would manage the wedding day with total professionalism.
Angela was great in how she oversaw the timeline for the event, and her skills certainly helped the event flow effortlessly during the day so that the Bride & Groom, the parents & the guests could thoroughly enjoy the wedding day celebration.

I was beyond thrilled - along with my daughter and her fiancé - to work with Angela as the coordinator for their wedding last April! Since I live out of town, I had a unique situation where I needed recommendations, suggestions and support from afar in order to help plan and fulfill the wishes for their wedding. Angela is an extraordinary talent, wonderful listener, superbly organized, calm, super patient and warm. Her thoughtful, helpful and quick email responses kept everyone in the loop throughout the process and were greatly appreciated. She has vast experience, works extremely hard and went many extra miles for which I am very appreciative!
She was absolutely indispensable when it came to all of the special, lovely details, timelines, reminders and she thought of things we never would have imagined that made the evening that much more magical! She and the many gifted vendors worked together seamlessly to orchestrate the entire wedding and made the bride and groom's dreams come true! It was pure perfection! Angela is an absolute delight to work with, and an incredible wedding coordinator. She is extremely dedicated, highly detailed, diplomatic, friendly, and skilled at holding vendors accountable. Whenever we had a question or needed a vendor recommendation, Angela quickly responded to emails with extensive information. When our venue was disorganized and unresponsive, Angela mediated and ultimately ensured that they had all the details for the day worked out. She also helped us navigate difficulties with our families, going above and beyond to take some of the burden off of our shoulders. When we started planning our wedding, we thought we knew what we were doing! From the first meeting with Angela we were quickly proven wrong! She goes over every detail with you making sure she executes your big day perfectly. Not only were we getting married but we were restoring my parents 130 year old barn into a venue. She toured the property and gave them the best advice on how to turn an eyesore into a stunning event venue. If anything did end up going wrong on our big day, we didn’t know about it! She truly did her job making sure everything and everyone was on schedule. She was in contact with every single vendor, we didn’t have to worry about anything but enjoying our special day.
