Lorie is the coordinator that comes with the venue. She forgot to turn the sprinklers off so all of our ceremony programs, decor, & wedding party got wet while decorating a couple hours before the ceremony. When a few of us went to find someone to ask to turn the sprinklers off, she was extremely rude when she let us know someone was working on it. She had no sense of urgency what so ever to help, and she did not even apologize for her mistake. Lorie responds only to emails she wants to reply to and doesn't fully read them. After correcting my meal order w/ her via email, during dinner the day of my wedding, she got my meal wrong and argued that I failed to mention what I wanted even though I have emails proving I did tell her. She clearly doesn't pay attention to detail. She was no where to be found when I was doing the bouquet toss, so I, the bride, had to run around the reception room looking for my bouquet.... I saw her maybe 3 times throughout that entire day. Our photographer was coordinating everything & everyone since she wouldn't. Luckily, from the outside looking in, the wedding was gorgeous & fun. Our DJ was super nice & friendly. The only reason anything worked out well that day was because our friends & family helped make it happen and because our photographer took charge of coordinating. I would never recommend anyone get married here unless you have another day of coordinator you hire yourself, but it's still risky because things could happen that are out of their control...like the sprinklers going off. lol I hope this helps save someone else's wedding day!!! Oh yeah and don’t expect for her to send you an update invoice when you make payments. She tried to get me to pay an extra $1600 because she “didn’t see her note that I made the payment".
Amazing! everything was absolutely beautiful!
Great venue, beautiful ceremony area, reception hall is great and bar is awesome. Can't go wrong. The food was also amazing, Italian dinner with chicken parm.
However, if your wedding photos are important to you, absolutely do not use Everything Arizona Weddings (Greg) for your photos. This is a vendor they offer and you will regret it.
Very simply put, your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, and this is not the photographer to capture those moments. Quick to respond up front, offer the world, but then disappear and deflect all questions thereafter.
The day of the wedding was a disaster from step one. Greg, is extremely difficult to work with. We had to ask him several times to relax as he was beginning to ruin the experience. This however changed nothing. Ultimately we figured if the pictures were ok who cares? But they were not. The poses are generic and bland and you have to continually ask to do your own, but on your wedding day you will be distracted and not thinking of funny things to do and which family members to get pics with. The final product was lacking severely. The "edited" photos look better when you apply a simple apple filter on your iPhone and we are terribly disappointed. On top of this and more importantly, there are so many moments not captured; no photos of all of our guests (aside from giant group class graduation type photo), the tables after being decorated (only before with candles next to centerpieces unlit), none of the food (at all), bar (which was a huge room with beautiful custom copper plated bar), our first dance (had to awkwardly go back out after for pics, none of spins or dips or smiles/kisses on floor), and too many more to name.
Again, do not take a chance on pictures, they will tell your story for decades to come & that is something we will forever regret.
Overall, I am so happy with our venue and the staff. Lorie Tom with RMRCC was very sweet and helpful with everything we needed from our rehearsal to the big day. Also, the waiters were extremely attentive and friendly. It turned out beautiful! The only reason I did not rate all 5 stars, was because there was a mix up of the times we set for our hosted bar. Normally, this would not be an issue, but it was handled very poorly by the two bartenders. It escalated due to the fact that they became very rude about the situation (even to me, the bride).
Our wedding was held at Red Mountain Ranch Country Club in Mesa, AZ. We chose this venue because Lorie, the wedding coordinator, was very nice and easy to work with. She was open to letting me do all my own decorations, and letting me use the vendors of my choice. The venue was also very affordable. I had visited about 16 other venues who were charging double what this place charged. They also have a nice variety of packages to choose from depending on budget and size of wedding. The venue is nice, a little small, but my wedding was small, about 75 people. The only thing I didn't like was the day of Lorie seemed a little overwhelmed with me doing my decorations. She was wanting to help but just couldn't figure out how my centerpieces would go, etc. My bridesmaid ended up staying with her to make sure everything was correct. In doing so she was behind in getting ready, so we started the ceremony about 20 minutes late, which happens in weddings, so not too big of a deal. Everything turned out beautifully and all of my guests had a great time. There was only one other thing that bothered me and that was that I had reserved the two nearest tables to our sweetheart table to be for the bridal party, and she did not stop people from sitting there, so when my bridesmaids and groomsmen had their entrance to ballroom, they had nowhere to sit and ended up being spread all around the room, and it was just awkward. All in all it was a great day and mostly went off smoothly. I would recommend this venue to a couple for a smaller wedding, under 80, otherwise it's a little cramped.
Great venue!! Everything went smoothly! Awesome staff, very helpful, polite, and respectful.
This country club is absolutely beautiful! The views are breathtakingly gorgeous. Sara Guzzo, the event coordinator is fantastic, professional and amazing to work with. My husband and I picked RMRCC because of the all inclusive packages. We had our ceremony and reception here. Our package included everything from napkins to champagne. The quality or the food and service was beyond our expectations! Sara made everything seem so effortless. I would recommend this venue to any Bride.
Great Venue! Sara Guzzo is just the sweetest and most accommodating person!Everything was beautiful, from the ceremony to the reception! Would pick the same place if we could do it all over again!
Sara and the staff were amazing
We signed on during the special the country club was having and boy did we get our money's worth! Sara was incredibly helpful and responsive - especially during those last few weeks when I would email changes... right down to the seating arrangement the day before. The staff was friendly and helpful, the lounge where I got ready was large and clean and the reception and food went off without a hitch!
