We had an early morning wedding, and working with Alisha was an absolute pleasure! She is professional yet so down-to-earth and fun, making the whole experience feel effortless. She captured beautiful candid moments while also guiding us through more formal shots with ease.
We mainly wanted some fun photos to remember our special day, and she went above and beyond. She arrived early to capture our family and friends arriving, as well as the small details on our display table. Her creativity and keen eye for detail truly brought out the magic of the day.
What impressed us most was how stealthy and unobtrusive she was—I hardly noticed her taking pictures before, during, and after the ceremony, yet she somehow captured everything perfectly. The photos are absolutely stunning, and we’re so grateful to have them as keepsakes.

I wish I could take the credit for finding Ryan and Red Summit Weddings myself, haha, but my sister could not have found a more amazing videographer that she adored and referred to me as well! If we hadn't already booked a photographer, I would have happily hired Ryan for both! :)
He was such a joy to work with- 100% professional with great and quick communications, very willing to work with our busy schedule and throw in some extra shots during our formals and the wedding day just because he could. :) He made everything so lighthearted and fun, helping us feel at ease and catching very candid shots, which is so essential for a big stressful wedding day haha. He is such a genuine guy who takes pride in his work and does a phenomenal job!
I remember the minute I received our finished video and I pushed play, only lasting for about 8 seconds and then had to shut it off because I had already started crying! It was a special moment, SO amazing to literally get to relive our whole wedding day again!! Ryan blew us away with the quality of the final product and how gorgeous everything turned out! I would seriously hire Red Summit Weddings again in a heartbeat if and when there’s a need! :)

If I could give Ryan 10 stars I would! He was perfect for our wedding day. Kind, professional, thorough, I could go on. He’s so easy going he will mesh well with any vendor and make you feel at ease amidst the chaos. And then the video.. speechless! It was so beautifully done and we will be forever grateful for Ryan.

Choosing Red Summit Photography was the best decision we made for our wedding (other than saying “I do” 😉). Not only is their work absolutely breathtaking - literal works of art. But, they also made the whole experience so enjoyable. From our bridals to our wedding day, they were so easy to communicate with, kept us laughing throughout the whole day, and effortlessly managed to capture all the special moments without ever being intrusive. We are so grateful for their talent and professionalism. Five stars doesn’t seem like enough. I can’t recommend them more!!

Ryan and Marlene were amazing and well worth it all, plus more! They were so communicative and helpful from the start and we felt like they jived well with our personalities and style. The pictures and video came out 100x better than I ever could have imagined! They also went above and beyond to help us out as we wanted to do a small '70s themed In N Out wedding pictures after our wedding, as my husband spent days on his Camaro to get it picture worthy. Not only were they down to do that with us, but they didn't ask for anything more! Ryan and Marlene were so easy to work with, and we are so thankful we have all of the pictures and the wedding videos to remember our special day by!

Ryan was incredible to work with. Very talented, lively, and fun! He was never in the way and always working to get the perfect shot. Our final video is amazing. Can’t recommend him enough, thank you so much Ryan!

We loved working with Ryan and Marley so much! Ryan was fabulous at communicating with us and when a last minute location change was needed (and we were out of ideas) he went with it and provided other sites he thought would work well. They were both so friendly and made standing in front of a camera feel comfortable. We got sneak peeks of our bridal shoot that night and all photo galleries and video were done within a month! We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!!

I have nothing but great things to say about our experience with Red Summit Weddings. Ryan was everything and more that we hoped for in a videographer. A couple of things I really admired about Ryan was how great he was at communicating with me! He was always reaching out to give me updates, but also loved to let me be a part of the creative process by running ideas he had with me first. This meant a lot! Ryan is also really good at working with photographers during different photoshoots. This helped everything flow so much! Ryan had so many great and unique shot ideas and I loved how they turned out in our video.
I have no regrets about hiring Red Summit Weddings for our special day and it was well worth the price!

We cannot speak highly enough about Ryan and his attention to detail. He was the kindest, funniest, and most talented videographer we could have asked for. To top it all off he was down for an off road adventure and when we got a flat tire he literally drove back up and fixed it for us in the freezing cold late at night! Seriously you won’t regret hiring Red Summit! Every dollar was worth it and I still cry every time I watch our sweet film. It was romantic, intimate, and truly makes me relive the best moments of that special day!!!

My husband and I were 50/50 on whether or not we should hire a videographer and WOW we are so glad we did. Ryan was absolutely worth every penny and he fat exceeded our expectations. He is amazing to work with - friendly, responsive, personable, and he brings so much fun and energy! I’m so thankful we have a video to be able to relive our wedding day time and time again. He also got the most incredibly handsome shots of our doggos!! Thank you Ryan, you’re the best and we would recommend you 10/10 times!

I couldn’t possibly love the video Ryan created any more than I already do. He captured all the details and emotion in but 5 minutes of movie time—a truly phenomenal job! Ryan has the intuition to see special moments and film them—all with a steady hand. I loved his creativity in taking footage from behind the scenes. He documented details of the reception that I had hoped we would remember but doubted would be filmed. Ryan made everything look simply beautiful. His video clips came together seamlessly. I am usually the one taking photos/video of all our special family moments, but this was definitely not one of those days, as it was our daughter’s wedding. I’m so grateful Ryan was there. He was extremely professional and showed respect to our photographer. Most importantly, although strangers, Ryan treated us like family and it shows in his work.
If you ever question whether or not to get a videographer in addition to your photographer, stop your thought process right there. Hire Ryan. He’s your guy.

Ryan was THE BEST! Super personable, fun, and beyond amazing and what he does. I love the drone shots and the music choices - this is what stood out to us the most about his videos! My husband and I are SO happy with our video and have already recommended him to multiple engaged couples :)

Ryan is the funnest guy to work with and had us laughing our hearts out the whole time! He filmed our proposal and wedding video and they turned out sooo good!!! He’s affordable and does a whole lot better than any other videographer in the industry I’ve seen.

Planning our wedding, I knew I wanted a videographer hands down, but I had little knowledge of those who offered this service. I found Ryan from a friend of a friend and was so happy I went with him. He did a PHENOMENAL job not only at our wedding but our engagements, as well. He was timely in answering any questions and had the best customer service. The nicest guy, best hype man, and such an amazing videographer. Highly highly Recommend!

I can honestly say if you need a videographer Ryan Mortensen is who you want to call. Our daughter's wedding was scheduled for Saturday Oct 2nd. But Covid had other plans, we had to reschedule everything for her wedding. Fortunately for us our original videographer was booked for the date we needed. I found Ryan on KSL.com and got him booked.
He was absolutely amazing. He was with us for 2 days filming all the events from playing a round of golf and wedding dinner on Friday, to filming all the girls getting their makeup and hair done. The wedding ceremony on Nov 13th, and the reception that night were all outdoors at Sky Mountain Golf Course. He captured the beauty of this magnificent backdrop for her wedding. He flew his drone to get unbelievable shots of the golf course, ceremony and reception. He is so personable and intermingled with our guests like they were his long lost friends. The video he provided was spectacular to say the least. He caught it all. There were some special moments that he recorded in their entirety that he sent us also. If you want an unbelievable video experience Ryan Mortensen Films is who you want.

A great videographer was our top wedding priority. Ryan is a gifted videographer. We could not have been more pleased. He exceeded our expectations both in talent and quality of work. He’s also a genuinely nice person. He worked for both our bridals and also the entire wedding day.
It was humerous to watch him work with our bridal photographer. She was expensive and experienced. It was clear he was the naturally gifted photographer and she just owned a fancy camera. In every shot his work was far superior to hers. He has the eye to frame each shot and the talent to get the special photo in great light. Amazing !!!
Professional, personable, capable and talented. My only warning is to book fast. He is in demand as a videographer. He is very reputable and I know he books out quickly. If he is available for your wedding, don’t hesitate to book Ryan that instant or you’ll regret it! Happy wedding memories !!!

We LOVE Ryan Mortensen’s films! He made our first look video and completely stunned us with the highest quality and service. He used his drone to capture absolutely gorgeous footage of the area that we took our pictures at and included shots of us from above. You just can’t get much better than that! Our only regret is that we didn’t use him for our wedding day- we just know he would have delivered pure amazingness once again.
