Wedding dress shopping was surprisingly exhausting at most bridal boutiques, but was a joy here. Because it’s a smaller place, the owners, Karen and Suzanne, know their inventory and are super speedy at getting a girl into a gown. I tried on at least double the number of dresses at my appointment here versus other salons. I tried several beautiful dresses I liked very much, but none were quite what I was looking for. In the one I lingered in longest, the owners suggested adding lace straps and an additional under layer to give the dress the added femininity and fuller silhouette I was looking for. I was initially against buying a dress with a plan to spend additional money on stylistic alterations, but I was glad I did. They referred me to a nearby wedding tailor, Gail Doyle, who did a fantastic job with the alterations. Interestingly, I had tried the same dress at another location that day, but chose to purchase it here because of the care the ladies showed me. Thank you so much!

I found the perfect dress at Reddington Bridal and Suzanne and Karen were kind and helpful during the dress hunting and shipping process! They recommended a fantastic tailor and made sure my dress arrived on time. I wanted to feel stunning for my wedding day and I absolutely did. Everyone complimented my dress, including the photographer who said it was one of the top 3 dresses he had ever seen. I even had someone come up to me during the reception and ask where I found my dress because she wanted one just like it. After hitting all the 'must do' stores in downtown Chicago and having a variety of experiences, one not so great at BHLDN, this shop had me CHOOSING between 2-3 dresses. I walked in with a photo of my dream dress and they identified so many that pulled the best elements from each. The women who own this local boutique are incredible to work with. They are fun and created the best atmosphere. They are open and honest too. All they want is for their brides to be happy and it truly shows. They will also recommend, if you are local, Gayle Doyle for alterations who helped make my dress fit like glove.

When my brother and sister-in-law got married, 4 years ago, Reddington was where my sister-in-law purchased her dress. When I got engaged my sister-in-law suggested trying Reddington. We had found our venue and knew the time of year, so the obvious next step was my dress. I was able to have my mom, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law at my appointment. I knew what I was looking for when it came to my dress, but the ladies made sure to show me other options within my budget. I ended up falling in love with dress #4, but my mom wasn't convinced. Thankfully the wonderful ladies over at Reddington helped my mom see that dress #4 was exactly what I was supposed to wear.

I had my eye on Kitty Chen dresses, and Reddington Bridal delivered! They have a beautiful selection of dresses to choose from and I'm so happy that I found my perfect fit here. My wedding dress was delivered right on time, as promised. The ladies are welcoming, friendly, and professional, and I really appreciated their seamstress recommendation (Gail Terenzio), as I worked with her on wedding dress alterations. My dress is a dream come true. It was definitely MY perfect place to go, most importantly, thanks for asking me if I would say yes to the dress when I was in FaceTime with my mom in Colombia, thanks for making her feel like she was here! I love this bridal shop, it is unique in so many levels and everyone feels like family as soon as you walk in.

Great experience! Karen was great to work with and helped me find my dream dress. I looked here because of the large selection of Kitty Chen gowns. They actually didn't have a sample of the dress I was interested in but ordered a loaner for me to try on. It came with in a week and was perfect. Due to COVID I didn't have anyone nearby to bring with me, and Karen was so helpful with taking photos helping with a video call to my mom. Can't wait for my dress to come in!

I can’t say enough good things about everyone over at Reddington! Karen, Suzanne, and Connie are absolutely amazing! They worked with our budget, listened to my dress preferences, and took the time to get to know us. They helped me find my perfect dress and completed the look with gorgeous accessories. My bridesmaids ordered their dresses from Reddington as well, and they all were happy with their experience. Reddington communicated with us and acted in a timely manner throughout the entire process - we were never in the dark about what was happening with our dresses. When asking for other vendors, Reddington knocked it out of the park once again! We found our florist, seamstress, and mother of the bride dress shop through them and we still talk about how grateful we are for all of them. Karen, Suzanne, and Connie were instrumental to making my day beautiful and I can’t thank them enough. If you’re in the market for a wedding dress, I highly recommend paying Reddington a visit.

Karen and her staff listened to what I wanted and showed me amazing dresses while keeping within my budget. This shop ruined my first experience shopping for my wedding gown. It was the owner Karen, no less, that was EXTREMELY rude to my mom and me. I couldn't believe how adolescent she acted. Eye rolls, rushed service, speaking over my mom when she would talk and acting like she knew what was best for me and then huffing and puffing when I questioned it or wanted to try something different. I absolutely welcome a professional suggestion, but when it's done calmly, respectfully and with positive excitement, not someone who demands it of me and then pouts. Everyone has bad days, but decide to cool off and not work with customers then. As we left we were given a high-pitched, phoney goodbye; so sorry to have bothered you for possibly giving you our business... Her sister-in-law (part owner) on the other hand, had a delightful personality as we noticed in passing, a very sweet woman; wish we had her instead. Customer service quality has been declining for years, but I've never experienced something like this; didn't think it'd happen for my wedding gown at the very least! :(

Let me start by saying that Reddington was amazing. Karen and Suzanne were THE BEST. Finding your wedding dress should be an amazing experience. One that you'll always remember with people that are genuinely interested and excited for you. Reddington was just that! I was so excited when I scheduled my appointment with Reddington because they had rave reviews online. From the moment I called to schedule an appointment to the moment I put my deposit down, I felt like i was actually important and heard. I met with Karen and it was my first appointment looking for my gown. Karen made me feel comfortable, she listened to what I wanted, what I was looking for and she threw in her two cents in as well. I felt like I had known Karen for years. The first dress Karen had me try on ended up being the dress I came back for. I was so happy that this was my initial experience. I went to another bridal appointment the same day just to make sure I knew what gown I wanted. As soon as I walked into the other store, I already knew I wanted to go back to Karen at Reddington. They've made the initial process to easy, I couldn't have asked for more. When I scheduled to come back I was a little disappointed that Karen was off, but I'm glad I got the opportunity to meet her sister in law Suzanne. She was just as sweet, just as accommodating and just as interested in my wedding gown as Karen was. The customer service can't be beat. They have an amazing selection and I was so surprised at the price of my gown! The dress is amazing with all of these intricacies I was expecting to pay so much more! Karen and Suzanne were not pushy, they weren't just looking for a sale, they even said I should see other salons to make sure I really find what I want. I can't wait for my gown to come in, but I definitely can't wait to work with Karen and Suzanne again. If you really want a memory to last a lifetime looking for your wedding gown, I hands down recommend Reddington, you won't be disappointed!

I honestly cannot say enough about how amazing my experience with Reddington Bridal was. The staff there made me feel so special. There was champagne for me and my bridal entourage as I was trying on different dresses. They asked me what my vision was and they completely delivered. I could feel their excitement when I found the dress and it was just such a lovely experience. I even had a bridal emergency with one of my bridesmaids who order the dress from another salon and it came in in the wrong color. Reddington was gracious enough to allow us to purchase a floor model that honestly saved my wedding vision. I truly appreciate everything they did to make my wedding as special as it was and 100% recommend to everyone!

I have loved Reddington Bridal ever since I was a little girl. Growing up in that area I used to drive past the shop with my mom and say "when I get married I want to get my dress from there". I made my dream come true and I got the most beautiful dress. Redding makes the process very easy and very fun. They listened to what I was thinking about for my style and I ended up picking out second dress that I tried on. They even had a champagne toast for when I was done shopping. The dresses in there are GORGEOUS and they also have pretty bridesmaid dresses as well so it's a great one stop shop for people who just want to get everything done at one place. I love Reddington so much and I am so grateful to them for making me look like a princess on my wedding day!

I'm so happy that I found my dress at Reddington Bridal. It was my first time shopping for a dress and it was such a great experience. I found the perfect dress! Karen was so helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating.

Unfortunately, I have a horror story from my experience. I originally chose Reddington Bridal for the selection available at my planned budget price. I loved the first dress I tried on and made my decision to buy the dress. I was then measured and fitted for the right size to order. However, when I went to try on the dress ordered for me for the first time, it was way too small (the back couldn't be buttoned closed or zipped by 5 inches). When I informed the staff that the dress did not fit or even come close to fitting, I asked them how I would be able to fit the dress and if they planned to reorder the correct side. The response I received was appalling. I was told that they would not order a new dress and could not order any replacement dress in time. The reason I was given for this answer was because it was "your fault because you must have gained weight." Beyond the fact that this is rude and unprofessional, it was a blatant lie. I had actually lost a few pounds (I track my weight for medical reasons). I was given no other option except to take the dress and leave. I took the dress to my tailor to see what could be done if anything. Thankfully, she saved the day. She let out all six seams on the dress to get it to zip and button closed. Since the dress had lace details and a lace train, this required an incredible amount of time and detail in a short period. It also cost a lot to have the dress tailored, which in the end almost doubled the price of the original dress. The experience ended up being a nightmare, in terms of personal treatment and financial loss. Honestly, I cannot recommend Reddington Bridal.

I had been told by several people to make an appointment at Reddington while Wedding Dress Shopping. It was my first stop, I found a dress I loved, but wanted to be sure. After visiting a few other bridal salons I found the same dress at another salon, but went back to Reddington because of their WONDERFUL service. They were so helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire process! I bought my wedding dress and veil at Reddington and am so happy I did! I recommend stopping at Reddington while shopping for a wedding dress!

Reddington is the greatest bridal boutique! I bought my wedding dress there as well as all the bridesmaid dresses. They couldn’t be nicer, more accommodating and fun! They have a great variety of dresses where other places were very focused in one style. Loved this place!

Let me start off by saying, for my wedding dress, I had a very specific look I was going for, Classic, A-line, not a lot of frills, like Audrey Hepburn meets Jackie O. Anyways, I had picture on my phone of sample dresses I've seen, and couldn't find anything remotely close to it. It was on a whim that I reached out to Reddington Bridal, and I was able to make an appointment the next day! I showed Karen, one of the owners, the pictures, she showed me a couple dresses, but none were quite "me." She said that she might have the dress I was looking for, which she was actually going to send back to the designer later that day. She went to the back, brought it out and Oh My God, I tried it on and it WAS THE DRESS! It was beautiful and classic and elegant. She was even able to special order some slight alterations for me as well! I know I was looking for something specific, but this shop also has LOTS of options for any bride out there!!

I found my wedding dress as well as my bridesmaids' dresses at Reddington Bridal. The staff is so friendly and helpful! They did a great job of finding dresses that fit with the preferences that I described as well as suggesting some different options. They clearly had a lot of expertise in understanding which dresses would look good on different women, which made the process of trying on dresses so much easier! I never felt that I was being rushed when I visited the store, which made me feel that the staff truly valued me as a customer.

Although I did not get my dress from Reddington, I did have a wonderful experience! Both ladies were so sweet and accommodating. They were able to squeeze me in last minute and I never felt rushed. I highly recommend this place and wish the owners the best of luck!!

Reddington Bridal was the best experience with dress shopping I had. I did go to a few other shops and none of them compared to here. Suzanne, Kathy, and Karen were simply the nicest. The ladies at Reddington Bridal are fabulous. I came in with a large group to find my wedding dress and they were very accommodating. They pulled several dresses for me and after trying on just five dresses I found the one I loved. Reddington Bridal is an intimate shop and it was amazing to work with the team there. I ordered all my bridesmaid dresses from Reddington. When I first went in to have my bridesmaids try dresses on, I explained to our attendant that I bought my wedding dress elsewhere but that store was unwilling to give honor the discounts they give out for bridesmaid dresses. I was approached by the owner to discuss my poor experience at another store and since I was purchasing 9 dresses, she gave me the 20% off deal they give brides who buy their bridal gowns here. I was so grateful! I feel like they really care about their customers and want to provide the best service possible. Our dresses came in on time and Reddington was very accommodating when one dress was poorly made (they sent it to their seamstress to fix free of charge) and another was way too large (they provided a discount for the alterations through their tailor). An employee even offered to drop the dresses off at my house when they are finished since I live so far away. Reddington Bridal was the first bridal store that I went to that went above and beyond my expectations.

WOULD GO HERE AGAIN AND AGAIN!! Absolutely perfect bridal experience. They are so professional and know exactly how to dress their brides. I didn't have a clear idea of the dress I wanted and they took one look at me before picking out ~8 dresses that I loved. Seriously great at what they do. They also work with you on price and are reasonable for the quality. They provide seamstress recommendations which was really helpful. Love this boutique so much.

I highly recommend Reddington Bridal. The staff was amazing and kind. They listened to what I wanted and helped me find my dress. There was no rushing or pushy sales pitches whatsoever. Just a great time with my group. I could not imagine having a better experience!

My fiancee and I chose Reddington for our bridesmaids dresses, and we've had an incredibly disappointing and upsetting experience so far. We found dresses that we liked through Bill Levkoff, and it was all downhill from there. To start, the dresses arrived a month later than they were supposed to, and I don't know if that was because of a delay with Bill Levkoff or if Reddington placed the order in late. Either way, there wasn't any kind of attempt to keep us in the loop, and Reddington frequently promised the dresses would be in "this week" even as a month went by. To pour salt in the wound, they didn't even call us when the dresses arrived, we only found out by calling them. Once the dresses arrived, we experienced a number of problems. They all came in larger than what we ordered, requiring significant alterations for every single bridesmaid. The design of the dress we tried on in the store and ultimately ordered was much different than the final product. The sleeves especially turned out to be a completely different design, and we've had several seamstresses acknowledge that the design of the sleeves is way different than what we should have received. While I understand mistakes happen, what's been really disappointing has been Reddington's apathy for resolving this issue. It's taken a ton of time just to get them to look into what happened in the ordering process, and we've been told "we'll call you later today" on numerous occasions just to have them totally ignore us. The wedding date gets closer every day, nobody at Reddington seems to care about making this right, and it's hard to believe a store with such a positive reputation could be so nonchalant about this whole situation. It's amazing how customers like us at a locally owned boutique could get lost in the shuffle and ignored like this. Right now, it seems like this isn't important to them despite this being our wedding. Hopefully other couples don't have to go through this.

Wonderful experience at Reddington Bridal. They listened to all my dreams for my dress, even looking at dresses I liked at other boutiques. The ladies worked together and with me to find the most perfect dress that I fall in love with again and again when I look at photos.

This bridal shop is absolutely amazing, they had me try on beautiful dresses until I found the perfect one. The went the extra mile by taking my wedding date into account and allowing me to buy off the rack so I wouldn't need to worry about shipping dates. Beautiful store with wonderful employees! I would recommend them to everyone!

I am so happy that I went to Reddington Bridal for my gown. They had a great selection in my price range and for the styles I wanted. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. When I made the appointment I can honestly say I made it for the experience with my mom. I wasn't planning on buying a dress that day. Once there, I gave the staff my budget and dress style and they immediately knew a gown that was perfect. They were absolutely right! I tried on more just in case, but I went back to the dress they originally picked out. I also bought my veil and headpiece at Reddington, and my mother bought her dress for my wedding as well. Each time I went to the shop the staff was friendly and helpful. My dress was perfect and it is thanks to Reddington!

Reddington Bridal was the perfect place to find a wedding dress! This is the only bridal store I visited because I found my perfect dress quickly! They listened to my desired budget and style and picked out many beautiful dresses for me to try on. I ended up with the third dress (out of 6) that I tried on! We had the whole studio to ourselves and many helpers with the dresses. When I went back to pick up my dress, they helped me pick out a matching veil and headpiece that was the perfect match for my dress. They also recommended a tailor to have my alterations done. I highly recommend Reddington for a private and personalized wedding and bridesmaid dress shopping experience!

The ladies at Reddington Bridal were amazing. The only reason there is not a fifth star is due to the fact that there was no seamstress on site. I was lead to believe the seamstress was on site and was not informed until it was time to alter my dress. I was given a referral to a seamstress who was okay. The dress turned out perfect, 3 days before the wedding and after a few sleepless nights.

When you walk into Reddington Bridal, you are greeted with warmth and a smile. This is family owned and family run. The girls are warm, caring, knowledgeable and simply marvelous. They require that you make an appointment because they want you to have the full experience and they make certain that you have an amazing experience. My daughter found "The Dress" and I can't thank the girls at Reddington enough for giving us such a wonderful experience. Everyone was so great!! They gave me suggestions for alterations when I told them I may want to change some things. They brought my dress to the tailor for me so I didn't have to lug it around. They offered champagne when I found my dress! I can't say enough about how wonderful they all are!!!

I cannot say enough great things about this shop! They spent so long with us and put me in a wide variety of dresses to help me narrow down what I wanted. We worked with Karen and she made everyone feel so comfortable. When I wanted to try on a dress, she never hesitated, but she also was honest and said "I can tell it's not your dress before you probably even know it yourself." I loved that she said that. It made me feel like she was really looking at what worked for me. When we did find THE dress, I started getting emotional. Karen grabbed a perfect veil (which I thought I didn't even want) that absolutely completed the look. I appreciated that she showed me different lighting (reception vs ceremony lights), had me walk around the salon to see it from all sides, etc. It was a very special moment that even made my dad cry. Karen also didn't pressure me in the moment. As it was my first shop, I felt like I couldn't say yes just yet. Before I could even bring up my concern about saying yes too soon, Karen stepped in and said "Ok, here's what you're going to do. You're going to go to your next appointment. And if this is the dress, you'll know, and you'll come back." And that's exactly what we did! When no other dresses there compared, we even found the dress I wanted at the other shop. But Reddington gave such a superior experience that we drove back there to give them our business. When we arrived she had mimosas ready, let me try on a few other dresses to be sure, and then shared in the special moment with my friends and family when I said yes to the dress through happy tears, smiles and laughter. I can't thank the entire shop enough for the incredible experience, hospitality, selection, value, and overall wonderful day. Reddington Bridal helped to make it the day every girl dreams of!

I am not quite done with the whole process of getting my dress but so far Reddington has been EXCELLENT! All of the ladies who work here are very nice and accommodating. Even when I came with 5 of my bridesmaids and it was kind of crazy, they were all so patient and thorough. And, were understanding when I needed to cancel and reschedule an appointment. Not to mention, they are the only salon in the area that has a selection of Bill Levkoff junior dresses! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding dress or bridesmaid dresses.
