Creative Confections Boutique, a commercial wedding and celebration cake studio originally located in the heart of downtown historic Evansville, has now found its home at our three generation family farm in Brownstown, Illinois. We design show-stopping sweet treats for weddings throughout the Southern Central Illinois area.. Our one-of-a-kind cakes are created in collaboration with each couple, taking the clients’ tastes and visions on board before the preparation begins. Owner, Leilani Deem, holds a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and a master’s in Interactive Design and has been creating artistic cake creations for over a decade. Her daughter and cake studio partner, Kylie Moore, also holds a degree in the arts, creating delicate macarons, custom sugar cookies and cupcakes. Keeping abreast with all the latest design trends. Leilani and Kylie work with other professionals and attend workshops to constantly broaden their horizons. Cakes from Creative Confections Boutique are made from scratch with only the finest ingredients for mouth-watering results. We offer a wide variety of flavors for both the sponge and the filling, putting together a list of excellently paired options for couples’ convenience when choosing their flavors and fillings.

I had a huge favor to ask for a wedding cake, a half white and half chocolate decorated cake. I showed Leilani the photo and we worked together for months to piece together the perfect cake. She was wonderful, and was super helpful throughout the entire process. The cake turned out wonderful and so beautiful! Better than I could have ever expected. She had the best ideas for different designs and flavor ideas, and was very helpful. We ended up with the perfect amount of servings and many very happy guests! I would highly recommend this boutique and will definitely be ordering more when I am in need of baked goods!

Our wedding cake from Creative Confections was a dream - from design to flavor. Leilani offers the most decadent, natural flavors, and our final selections - lemon cake with blueberry compote and vanilla cake with strawberry compote - were so loved by us and our guests. By no surprise there was hardly a crumb leftover at the end of the night. Leilani is so pleasant to work with and we couldn't recommend Creative Confections more.

Leilani was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. We had actually talked to someone else about creating our wedding cake, and just didn't have a good feeling. I reached out to Leilani shortly after that, and she instantly put me at ease. She created beautiful samples in her studio for my husband and I, and was so relaxed and genuine. I never worried about anything and she stayed in constant communication with me during the week of the wedding, even sending me a message when she was on her way to put my mind at ease. You won't find better quality cake for the price, but just as importantly, you won't find anyone as lovely as Leilani!

She is very friendly and personable and its very evident that she does her absolute best to make sure her customers are pleased! Our wedding cake was not only beautiful, but it tasted AMAZING!

Simply beautiful, elegant cake with a heavenly, delectible convection on the inside! Our wedding cake was PERFECT! It was on time, beautiful, and tasteful on all levels!! My favorite was the Snickerdoodle cake. We could not have been more pleased on our very special day.

Leilani is so passionate and talented in what she does, and it shows! We chose her to do our wedding cake and it was absolutely perfect. We received so many compliments on the look and taste of our beautiful wedding cake. The cake looked exactly like what I had shown her, it tasted absolutely fantastic, and it was so lovely to do business with her. She allowed us to taste all kinds of delicious flavors, explained her process and techniques, she made sure we were happy with what we were getting, and she was so professional and such a nice person to work with! You won’t be disappointed one bit with choosing Creative Confections!

Leilani at Creative Confections went above and beyond to help get us exactly the wedding cake we were looking for. She nailed the design of the cake in accordance to the style we showed her; it looked beautiful. She helped out with delivery, even with our more specialized circumstances. She gave us a taste testing where we got to try out several different flavors to pin down our favorites. She went over the process of how she makes her cakes and what sets her apart. She was communicative, professional, on time, and she is a very warm and friendly personality to do business with. Couldn't have asked for a better experience for our wedding cake. And not to mention, the cake was the best we tasted!

I had such a great experience with Creative Confections!! Leilani was able to put exactly what I wanted into a cake, and it tasted amazing!! I got so many compliments on how great the cake looked, and how good it was. Very pleased!!

Creative Confections Boutique (Leilani Deem) did a wonderful job on our wedding cake from start to finish. She was welcoming throughout the entire planning process and accommodated our schedules as we do not live in the Evansville area. She provided us with a taste testing of each of her signature flavors and helped us to envision what the design could look like. In regards to the day of, Leilani was prompt to deliver the cake and decorate with the greenery we provided. We were so thrilled and happy with the design. Our guests raved about the scrumptious flavors! I would recommend Creative Confections Boutique for anyone looking to work with a responsive and talented vendor and for a beautiful and delicious cake.

We went with Creative Confections Boutique because of Leilanis creative mind. I know the bride is supposed to be the star but the cake was definitely the star of our wedding. Not only was it beautiful but tasted as good as it looked. My husband and I would definitely recommend Creative Confections Boutique for any special cake you may need. You won't be disappointed!

AN ABSOLUTE AMAZING EXPERIENCE! From beginning to end, Leilani made the entire experience the best part of my wedding! All I knew is I wanted a semi naked cake and had one picture from Pinterest. Leilani went above and beyond my expectation and imagination of what would be the most amazing wedding cake I've ever seen or tasted! During our tasting, my groom and I could not decide on what flavors to choose. Leilani recommended we do 4 tiers of different flavors. She delivered a semi naked, gorgeous cake decorated with fresh burgundy dahlias and white hydrangea. The white chocolate-vanilla, strawberry, chocolate and banana flavors were an absolute hit at the wedding and not one crumb was not consumed. I highly recommend the strawberry! If you are looking for perfection down to every little detail, I definitely recommend Leilani with Creative Confections Boutique.

The cake was not only delicious but also beautiful. I did not have any cake or cupcakes leftover after the wedding, and I ordered more than enough. Her buttercream icing is to die for. Amazing customer service. Also priced to afford most budgets. I suggest her to anyone I know getting married. Very pleased ❤️
