Donyale “The Make-Up Artist”

Donyale was the best makeup artist I could’ve ever dreamed of for my wedding day! She was timely, fun, courteous, and all of the above. My bridesmaids, mom, mother-in-law, and I all truly loved our make up and the care that they put into their work. I thank Donyale so much for being an amazing addition to my big day!

Donyale did an AMAZING job for my wedding day. I appreciate that she has packages that offer the makeup and hair trial and facials for the bride and groom before the wedding day. Myself, my bridesmaids and our mom’s makeup were beyond excellent. Her compassion and calm demeanor helped ease my stressful bridal brain the day of. She got everyone’s makeup done in a timely manner with everyone looking stunning. The makeup lasted all day without needing tough up. I also used her hair services and Shaketha did an amazing job with my style giving me exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend her services and will utilize her for future events!

Such an incredible experience top to bottom! I used our trial session for our engagement shoot and got plenty of compliments. Then, the couples facial…I can’t rave enough! Our skin has never felt and looked better. It was so good that one of our guests arrived to town early to get the same facial. On our wedding day, she arrived early with another artist and immediately got to work on my bridal party and myself. They were professional and made it a fun experience for all of us. Any suggestions of changes we wanted to make, they accommodated! She even stayed behind to make sure everything was good once we finished getting ready. The make up stayed all night and never once needed a touch up. Same for the second day of our wedding when we were taking pictures outside and then dancing in a hall with a barely functioning AC. The makeup even lasted through the after party with no touch up or powder needed! I’ve already recommended her to all my friends!

I LOVE DONYALE! From her professionalism, to her knowledge, fun personality and workability, to even her experience and connections. As someone who was fairly new to Houston and planned my wedding myself, she was instrumental in connecting me with other vendors like my bridal hairstylist. She also went above and beyond and was there for me every step of the way on my wedding day getting me and my many bridesmaids together until the moment I walked down the aisle and helping out with little things that came up aside from makeup. Like carrying stuff for me and helping with my veil. She made everything seamless and now has a longtime customer in me.

Donyale is absolutely amazing! I booked her almost two years before my wedding, and started going to her for facials about a year and a half before the wedding. She is both professional and fun - and really listens to the input of the client. I am not someone who wears makeup ever and was nervous about still looking like myself on my wedding day. The goal was to look like I had a simple, Snapchat or Instagram filter on, but otherwise looked like me. And that is exactly what Donyale did! I looked like an elevated version of myself and I got so many compliments on both my make up and skin. Thank goodness she is an esthetician, because I can continue seeing her even after the wedding! And I have and will continue to recommend her to everyone I know!

Donyale is an AMAZING Make-Up Artist! We hired her to do the make-up our Double Love Celebration wedding. With the package, she did a trail run in her studio for my bridal shoot. Donyale was very professional, whereas I showed her pictures of makeup that I liked and every step of the process she asked my opinion. She has a larger mirror in her studio where I could continuously watch her applying the make-up. I loved this because normally you only see when your make-up is finished and then it is hard to make any changes. For the Double Love Celebration event, Donyale did make-up for my mom, my sister, and I. And all us were treated like the bride. Donyale was very timely, but very detailed in getting all of us done. She is really good with colors, where the make-up looked natural and not caked on. My make-up was beautiful the full night and I received tons on complaints all through the evening. Not only is she an immaculate make-up artist, but she also cares about your skin. She spoke to me about healthy skin care and my mom has even been back to her studio for facial. It was truly a pleasure working with Donyale and we will be using her again for more events!!
