LaKeisha was amazing. The dresses she pulled for my appointment felt like she read my mind. She had me try a little bit of everything I was thinking of and found my dream dress. Won’t lie I was nervous to go to Vivid since I made a big deal about paying $45 versus $200 for 4 people. But… I am so happy I decided to go to Vivid. The girls were so welcoming. Listened to exactly what my vision is and helped me find my dream dress. They don’t have an alteration person in house but do provide you with people who do. They have a VERY large selection of dresses for all body styles. I love that they name the dresses different names rather than by style numbers and they introduce you to “her” aka the dress. They were so professional and we had a GREAT time and they made us feel like family. Before I came in I was bummed based upon a previous boutique I went to in the morning and they completely turned my attitude around and I left a completely happy bride.

LaKeisha and Emily were great! LaKeisha texted with me the day before my appointment in order to be ready for the experience! She made me feel comfortable, heard, and taken care of throughout my entire appointment. Emily was also very helpful and nice, she checked us in for the appointment and assisted throughout as well. LaKeisha answered all our questions and had such great dresses already pulled aside for me. My wedding dress was literally the second dress I tried on! Highly recommend this shop especially if you are a plus size bride! Trying on a dress that fit me practically perfectly or was even a tad too big was not an experience I ever had when regular dress shopping but I did with Vivid!

I had an amazing experience and said yes to the dress here! The ladies are so welcoming and friendly and they will make sure you’re feeling like a bride. I never felt uncomfortable or awkward and they provided opinions and advice only when asked. It was an extremely emotional experience for me and they made sure I felt safe to express my emotions. As a plus size bride, I chose this place because they have an array of plus size dresses to try on. I 100% recommended Vivid Bridal Boutique!

My alterations at Vivid Bridal left me INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED. When I bought the dress, I asked if I could remove a layer of fabric, cut the illusion on the neckline, & remove buttons on the neck of the dress. At my alterations appt. I asked to have the layer removed, but was told no several times until my friend got on the floor, pointed to the layer & told them to remove. When I bought the dress I was told I could alter the neckline which was my number one priority, but was shocked during alterations was I was told it could not be done. I also asked for a certain type of bustle & was told no again. At this point the seamstress was visibly irritated. My dress also came with an optional snap on bow which I said that I was not wearing & asked that the snaps be removed from the dress. I never got to ask about the buttons on the neck because of everything else that went on. My next appt. was scheduled for 11/1. I never got an appt. confirmation & the day of the appt. I called & was told "they didn't have my appt. & my dress wasn't ready” but they fit me in anyway. When I arrived the dress had only been taken in & the hem was pinned much shorter than the initial appt. The neckline, bustle, & bow snaps hadn't been touched. When leaving I went to make another appt. & they wanted me to come in 12/6, just 9 days before my wedding (12/15/23). I was leaving on the 9th for my out of state wedding. I said the 6th would be cutting it too close in case anything went wrong. They said I could pick it up on 12/13...just 2 days before my wedding! We agreed on 11/29 as my 3rd appt. date. I left that appt. in hysterical tears. I arrived at my third appt. & tried the dress on. Now my dress did not fit (even though it did at my 2nd appt.), the hem was still too high, & the bow snaps were still on the dress. Not to mention the neckline looked crooked. I sat in the store for an hour & half taking the dress on & off so they could let the dress out, & lower the hemline. In doing so, the side now started bunching up. The bustle was done but because other things needed to be done it was only quickly looked at, in the last few minutes. The seamstress did more pinning on it. I reminded her for the 3rd time that the bow snaps were to be removed & I was told "oh you're not wearing the bow?" She also said "these types of dresses always give her trouble." All I could do was hold back tears. My 4th appt. was made for the 6th & the entire afternoon was blocked off to prepare for the worst. Again, I left in hysterical tears. At the 4th appt. the hem was finally correct, the bow snaps had been removed, the neckline was what it was & the dress fit again. They asked if they could add a hook to the zipper area because when I would breathe it would pop open slightly. I said yes, & picked it up later that day. We never checked the bustle. Wedding day, my bustle broke within 3 minutes. One button broke off instantly, & the second fell off when touched. I spent my entire cocktail hour in the bathroom having someone sew the buttons back on. When I entered reception the hook broke & the dress would not stay zipped. I changed into a back of dress because SO many people commented that my zipper was down. I spent just under $1,000 on alterations for them to be HORRIBLE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND that anyone get their dress altered at Vivid. ALSO, I followed up with Vivid in an email recounting the entire disaster in great detail & was left with no response.

Vivid Bridal Boutique was absolutely amazing! They were so welcoming upon our arrival and had already pulled some beautiful dresses that aligned with my survey responses. Throughout the session, they were so encouraging and really helped me discover what I liked in a dress. I tried on several and I didn’t feel rushed at all. They had such a wide selection of dresses. I really felt like I had the opportunity to find the perfect dress. The staff was so kind and funny and made it all so fun! I highly recommend Vivid Bridal Boutique. It was such an amazing experience all around!!

All of the ladies at Vivid were amazing! I was lucky and had a few different hands helping me during my visit. I tried on 12 different dresses and I was never rushed the entire time. When I felt like I found the one, the ladies brought me out front to give me some brighter light and put a veil on me and once I told them yes to the dress (with a few tears in my eyes) they were shouting and laughing with joy right along with me! 🩷 I appreciate all the little things that they did for me to make my experience great and would definitely recommend them in the future! 😊

Vivid Bridal is wonderful! My best friend found her dress here a few years ago and I knew when it was my turn, I would go to them as well. I had found "THE dress" online prior to my first appointment, so Vivid contacted the designer to have them ship it specifically for me to try on, it was amazing! We even customized a few details of the dress so that it was more flattering on my petite frame. The ladies here are professional, truly have your best interests in mind, and were always honest! They made me feel like family. I've since sent 2 other friends here who also found their wedding dresses at Vivid Bridal! THANK YOU!!

I absolutely LOVED working with the staff at the Vivid Bridal Boutique. Throughout the entire process from trying on dresses the very first time all the way up to the day before my wedding when I picked up my stunning dress was an amazing experience. The entire staff is absolutely fantastic, making you feel like one of their own, helping you feel completely comfortable and cheering you on throughout the entire process! The boutique has a very intimate feel while also having tons of beautiful dresses, in a variety of styles, to chose from. I personally loved this type of atmosphere because it made me feel more comfortable and like I wasn’t just a number. The ladies at Vivid Bridal helped me to find the dress of my dreams. They hyped me up during my try-on appointment and helped select styles similar to the photos I showed them. The seamstress was lovely to work with as well.

By the time I had come to Vivid, I had already been to a variety of other shops and tried on what seemed to be like countless dresses. Susana and her team provided me with an individualized experience that felt extremely comfortable and stress free. Their expertise allowed them to choose dresses that they knew fit my personality, wishes, and body type. Their dresses are beautiful and also extremely well priced. The dress I ended up choosing was well under budget which was a win. Despite having a healthy budget, I had been to other shops that seemed to have mostly higher end dresses (6k+), most of the dresses at Vivd seemed to be under the 4k mark. I am a very petite bride and also loved knowing that they have a substantial plus size collection for any plus sized brides out there. Overall, my experience at Vivid was fantastic and I can't wait to continue working with them throughout the alterations process and even choosing accessories.

After visiting multiple bridal boutiques, I found my dress here at Vivid Bridal! I had a great experience working with Shrinal. She was very patient as I tried on the dresses and listened to every detail of feedback I gave until she found a dress I loved. Would definitely recommend anyone to come here!

Amazing! The ladies at vivid bridal are so kind and understanding. They are very helpful and truly want you to feel your best. I went in sorta knowing what I want but they really helped bring it to life. I am so glad I decided to book my appointment with vivid bridal. Couldn’t have enough good things to say about them. I had such a great experience at Vivid! Shri was my stylist and worked so well with me and my group that came in with me. She contacted me the day before my appointment to ask for some inspiration photos and had gowns pulled before I even stepped foot in the store so that it didn't eat into our appointment time. Vivid overall was a very clean store and had a great feel to it. I am a plus sized bride and was extremely pleased with the selection of plus sized sample dresses that I was able to try on; their selection is amazing! I felt fully supported by Shri and didn't feel pressured at all to purchase on the day of my appointment. I will be recommending to all brides in the area!!!

This was my first time wedding dress shopping for myself so I had no idea what exactly I was looking for but Janice was so helpful and gave me multiple different kinds of styles until I found one that was best suited for me and I was able to find the most perfect wedding dress!! I found my gown at Vivd Bridal! I worked with the consultant, Janice, who had pulled dresses to try on based off of our conversation before my appointment. She listened to what I liked and disliked about each dress and was able to find a dress in my budget that checked all of my boxes. Shri was also very welcoming and knowledgable about the designers and alterations. It was such a great experience and I am so glad I am a "Vivd Bride"! UPDATE*** Docked a star due to my alterations experience. The hem was a disaster and my dress came back smelling funky. Ended up going to another seamstress to fix it.

The Vivid Bridal Boutique experience is something I will remember for a lifetime. From the minute I walked in, the atmosphere was so welcoming and so friendly. Simone (my stylist) and Suzanna (the owner) helped me pick out dresses and constantly checked in with me on how I was feeling. They even had dresses picked out for me before even showing up as they texted me before the appointment asking if I had any thoughts or inspiration boards. They do not try to “sell” you on their dresses, but rather really listen to how you feel and do everything in their power to accommodate you. I had plans to go to a different bridal boutique to find my dress but decided to go to Vivid Bridal for a trial run by myself to help with my anxiety of buying a dress and wedding planning in general. From the moment I walked in Shri was amazing! I found my dress that first day but needed to think on it and came back 2 weeks later with my bride tribe to try on dresses and get their feedback. They loved it! Shri is amazing at her job as a stylist, she pulled all types of dresses even things I didn’t necessarily consider because I had no idea what kind of dress I wanted. I made an appointment with Vivid at the encouragement of my best friend. I'd already had one appointment with another bridal store and it was very disappointing, so I went into this appointment without much hope. When I arrived I was immediately greeted by the manager and my stylist, Simone. I showed them the dress I'd previously tried on and explained what I liked and didn't like about it. Simone went to work pulling gowns. The second gown I tried on was exquisite -- similar to the gown I tried in the other store, but so much better! I loved the fit and when Simone placed the veil on me I looked in the mirror and burst into tears of joy! It was my dress. Simone had truly paid attention to my wants in a gown and she delivered. Thank you Vivid Bridal and Simone! I am a thrilled Bride-to-be!!

I went to more than one store and my eye just kept coming back to Vivids dress! I love the clean and simple look the dress gives as well as the glam factor. I couldn’t have asked for a better dress. I had an amazing experience at Vivid Bridal. They carried a designer I was interested in and when I called to get more information I spoke to Melissa on the phone. She was so kind and answered all my questions and reassured me they carried dresses I would fit in (I am a street size 14/16 and was super worried about this.) I was able to make an after hours appointment where it was just me and my guests, and the second we walked in we felt so welcomed. Melissa was AMAZING to work with and made me and my guests feel so comfortable. There was no shortage of dresses I could fit in to try on, and I was so excited to say yes to my dress! Would recommend to any bride, my bridesmaids were even saying they wanted to come back for whenever they wanted to go dress shopping, lol! Thank you so much for such an incredible experience!

I had the BEST experience at Vivid. I went to one other bridal shop earlier in the day, and I just felt so much more at ease, relaxed, and comfortable in this environment. I felt very heard with what I wanted and the first dress I tried on was actually what I went with. The entire time I just felt so supported and my consultant would make sure to ask what I thought when helping me dress so as to help me better to make sure my family wasn’t overwhelming me. It was beyond what I could have imagined and I absolutely loved the experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for quality dresses and a lovely experience!!!

Simone and the team made the experience absolutely wonderful. I hadn’t shopped for dresses at all and had 3 appts set up. The first was not an overly great experience but found a dress I liked and was the one to beat. Then we got to Vivid. The atmosphere was great, bright airy spaces filled with friendly warm employees. Simone had pulled dresses based on my interests and they had plenty of samples in my size. (It’s wild how a size 10/12 equates to a 16 in bridal.) She listened to my feedback and adjusted based on how I was feeling in each. She made me feel beautiful in every dress, but ultimately was able to find the dress that had the best pieces of all the ones I loved together! It’s perfect and I didn’t even need to go to my 3rd appt of the day. She found the perfect dress! I’m getting married in 18 weeks. I could’ve taken the floor dress but they were able to order the dress I loved to be here in plenty of time too! Amazing stress free experience! Thank you Vivid!

The Ladies at Vivid Bridal are the absolute best! I knew at my first appointment that I was going to find my dress there. They didn’t pressure me into finding a dress and allowed me to come back a 2nd time to find my perfect dress. They treated me just like Family and always remembered me every visit. They have a large variety of dresses and different sizes so that you don’t have to squeeze into a sample size. Fazia in alterations is amazing!! She made my dress fit like a glove for my big day! Susanna and Shri made my experience unforgettable. I wish I could do it all over again. You will not regret choosing Vivid Bridal to say “yes” to the dress!

What a joy it was to visit VIVID Bridal Boutique with our daughter while visiting Woodbridge! We had heard very positive things about Melissa and the store and could not have been happier with the attention given our daughter as she searched for the perfect wedding dress! The store's inventory is large and Melissa was patient and honest as our daughter tried on dresses several times in the months prior to our visit - and again when we were there. Finding the right dress is SO important for a bride, and she must also feel confident that all will go well with the ordering and altering of the dress. Vivid Bridal Boutique and Melissa made everything so easy and memorable!

The minute we walked in the store Melissa greeted us and made us feel instantly welcome. Shopping for wedding dresses as a plus size woman is very intimidating and uncomfortable. Vivid has a very large selection of bigger dresses to try on. Melissa picked two dress to start that were absolutely beautiful and instantly top contenders. She is your best friend and biggest advocate. Truly enjoyed my experience at vivid and found the one!!

Melissa was so helpful! This was my third time looking for a dress (went to two different bridal shops previously) so I had other places and people to compare my experience to. Melissa called me a day before my appointment to get a better idea of what I was looking for and had some dresses pulled when I arrived. She really understood my vision because the first dress I attempted to try on ended up being the one! I say attempted because it was too small for me to put on so we moved on to other dresses. She found the initial dress in a bigger size later and that was the one I chose! Highly recommend!

Susana and her team are some of the most wonderful people I have met. Susana is extremely caring and will go above and beyond to find you your perfect dress and make you feel beautiful. They are extremely accommodating and great at keeping brides on track when it comes to getting fittings at appropriate times. They have a wide variety that is constantly being updated as well! I found my dress during covid -- despite their limited hours -- I never felt rushed during my dress search. I have nothing but great things to say about Susana and her boutique. My alterations were also done at the shop and were done perfectly. I truly felt like a princess and received so many compliments on my dress. Thank you so much, Susana!

I had the best experience at Vivid Bridal. I highly recommend making an appointment with them if you're a bride in the DMV. The space is warm and inviting. There's plenty of seatting for those helping you shop. There dress selection is large with a wide selection of styles and sizes available at budget conscientious prices. If you go ask for Melissa! She's amazing! She gave advice, asked questions, listened to my answers, and provided positive support while making me feel like I was shopping with an old friend. She has the perfect balance to help you find your dream dress!

I found my dress at Vivid’s Bridal, but even if I hadn’t, I would highly encourage every bride to go there even just to see the amazing selection they have! I walked in and was just taken aback with how many gorgeous dresses they had, I wasn’t sure how I was going to narrow it down! Melissa was wonderful helping me figure out what to try on based on my preferences. (She asked me before I even came in which was so helpful because she already had dresses pulled) I was a pretty picky bride but they had all the patience in the world and they talked to me about what details I liked and didn’t like and had my mom and sister walking around with them looking at different options. I also loved that they were very respectful of my budget. Their patience paid off because I did find my dress there and I can’t wait to walk down the aisle in it next year!!
