Bridget made us so comfortable with our first dance. She was always professional and patient. Our guests couldn't stop talking about our dance. We absolutely loved working with her and recommend her highly.

I booked a session with Bridget. She recommended a studio. I arrived there in 95 degree weather to find out there was no air conditioning. Bridget said she would come to my house. My 6 pound dog barked at her, and I explained if she gave her treats she would calm down. Bridget said she would not "reward" my dog for barking, said, "I don't have time for this, and left!" What a flake! Thankfully I did not give her a deposit.

Bridget is so fun to work with! We looked forward to ever dance lesson we had with her. She makes you feel so comfortable and gave us the confidence we needed to feel ready for the big day. She choreographed our first dance perfectly and helped us with mother-son and father-daughter dances as well. I cannot begin to explain how amazing Bridget is! The best part about wedding planning was hands down going to dance class with Bridget. My fiancé (husband now!) and I would look forward to meeting with her, and doing what we both love so much- DANCE ! We wanted an over the top, all out, fun, exciting, but passionate and loving- oh - and also choreographed to a mainstream pop/EDM song- 1st dance ! Bridget is INCREDIBLE! My husband and I really wanted to do something special for our first dance (salsa/bachata/social dancing vibes, not slow or stuffy feeling). We did TONS of research and decided to go with Bridget of Movement Savant and we are so happy with that choice! She listened to exactly what we wanted, played off our natural abilities and confidences, and made it a fun experience the entire time. She is upfront, honest, and kind. My favorite thing from our lessons is she kept it about us - the last thing we wanted is to be forced into choreography that didn’t match our styles or personality, but over and over Bridget reminded us that it should be what WE want. She never pushed us into anything we didn’t like, but still gave us a heathy challenge and had us try moves that pushed us out of our comfort zone in a good way! My husband and I joke that over our entire wedding weekend, the thing we felt most confident about was our first dance! We were so proud to show off the choreography Bridget created for us and our guests are still talking about our first dance - which was the goal! P.S. she can even help with the parent dances! She made the mix for my husband and his mom and helped them create a super fun and cute mother/son performance!

Our first dance would not have been what it was without Bridget! We were initially going to wing it but after a session with Bridget, she made us comfortable and confident. She even helped us pick and cut the song, and showed us a few moves that really got our guests cheering!

Bridget was AMAZING. We got the official green light for our wedding only a few months before the date as restrictions eased. So, we reached out to Bridget knowing we only could fit in a few sessions to come up with a fun surprise dance. But even with only two sessions, she helped us come up with something really FUN, at our skill level (which is super beginner lol) and felt like US. She got excited when we said we wanted to use glow sticks lol. Bridget really listened to us and got to know us before starting anything. My husband has some limited mobility due to injury, but she was so helpful in creating choreo that catered to that and also gave him suggestions to prevent injury. After our two sessions, she still wanted to make sure we felt confident, so she suggested a Zoom call to run everything together one last time before the big day. That really helped us feel like she cared and wanted us to succeed! Would 100% recommend her if you are looking for something special for you big day.

Bridget saved the day by coming for a last minute dance lesson after the rehearsal dinner! Not only did she make us feel more comfortable for our first dance, but also worked on the father/daughter dance and mother/son dance. She is very easy to work with and made the whole experience so fun. We were feeling pretty good with what we had, but she made it so much better. Highly recommend!

She truly wants to get to know you throughout the process in order to better tailor her teaching and dance techniques to what is most authentic and natural for each couple. Bridget can make the most novice dancers feel confident and the most confident dancers feel secure and excited. But, most importantly, Bridget makes the process SO FUN and enjoyable. Thanks to Bridge, instead of having first-dance jitters, we couldn't wait to get on the dance floor and show-off our moves...and, of course, keep them going all night long :).

Bridget was great to work with! We needed someone to choreograph our wedding surprise dance, and her rate was competitive with other choreographers we talked to. Besides that, she is a consummate professional. My husband mixed a couple of songs, and it was quite a long playlist. She accommodated to our wishes, and made our vision come true. She is patient in teaching us the moves, and she would modify the moves if needed so we can do it together and clean. We had rehearsal in Culture Shock where she works in. The final part is that we perform in front of people in Culture Shock, which was both super intimidating and exciting at the same time. In the end, our dance went smoothly, and our guests loved our dance. It would be something my husband and I would watch and cherish for the rest of our lives. Thanks Bridget!

In search of a wedding dance choreographer I called the best dance studio I've been to in San Diego, Culture Shock, who referred my fiance and I to Bridget Savant of MovementSavant. From the very beginning Bridget was very friendly, kind, and patient. She always made us feel comfortable as it can be awkward at first, especially if you haven't danced in front of someone before. I have danced all my life and my fiance had never stepped on the dance floor. I came to Bridget with a vision of what I wanted and the songs I wanted our dance to and while we could not copy the dance I wanted exactly for legal trademark purposes, she put together an absolutely amazing dance using my advanced dance skills coupled with my fiances beginner's moves and she put his strength to use as he is a crossfitter. The one of a kind dance she choreographed for us could not have been more perfect. Bridget was also able to mix two different songs together for us. Bridget was willing to work with us as much as we needed until we felt comfortable enough to do our dance in front of 130 guests. She will even find a live audience (one of the dance classes in the studio) for you to perform in front of on your last lesson to ensure you are prepared and can handle performing in front of a crowd, as it is better to get nervous and see how your react in front of strangers versus doing so on your wedding day. I would highly recommend Bridget if you are looking to give your guests a first dance performance they won't forget!

Our time with Bridget was some of the most cherished over our entire wedding planning process. My husband and I met with her six times over the course of a few months. While we knew we wanted to have a special first dance and knew what song we wanted, the rest was a bit of a mystery to us. Bridget made the rest so easy, fun, and loving. I worked with Bridget on a special dance for my now husband for our wedding. I used to be a competitive dance performer for years and my husband mentioned while we were dating that he wished he saw me in my dancing days. So rather than a boudoir shoot some brides do, I wanted to do a fun, sexy hip hop dance to film and show to my husband on our wedding night. I pitched the idea to Bridget and she was all about it! And we went straight to work, meeting about every other week for private lessons before filming. Bridget was a dream to work with! She was creative in the choreography and made sure I felt comfortable with the moves before filming. She also reads you really well and gives constructive feedback on what you do well and what you need to work on to give your best performance. We ended up creating a great video that my husband is very happy with ;)

Early on in our engagement, my husband and I decided that we wanted to surprise our wedding guests with an awesome choreographed dance to follow our traditional “first dance”. Having no organized dancing experience, we signed up for some private lessons at Culture Shock where we were paired with the talented instructor and studio manager, Bridget Savant. I could honestly go on forever about Bridget but I will try to keep it brief! I will start off by saying that Bridget is AMAZING, kind, fun, creative, adaptive, personable, passionate, and very talented at her craft. We came to her with a scatter-brained idea of our vision and she managed to turn this vision into an awesome crowd-pleasing dance routine. Our dance began with a traditional slow song and then transitioned into a mix of salsa and hip hop for the four other songs we chose to dance to. Bridget sharpened our ballroom dancing skills and then constructed a fun, high energy routine with us from the ground up. Bridget is GREAT at working with beginners. I myself am pretty shy and definitely felt extremely awkward during our first session. However she always gave positive reinforcement and never made me feel uncomfortable and by the second session everything felt much more natural. Bridget collected as much information from us about the vibe of our wedding, the crowd and age of our guests, our individual personalities, etc. and took this all into account as she created our dance. Until today, probably the most significant and best compliment we’ve received about our dance is that it was “so us”. Bridget only knew us for 3 months yet she managed to choreograph a masterpiece that accurately reflected not only our personalities, but also the energy of our relationship. The experience was challenging but extremely bonding for my husband and I. We met with Bridget every other week for about 3 months and we could really sense that she always gave 110% to her coaching each and every time. Hiring Bridget was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made together and the memories of our dance will last a lifetime.

Hiring Bridget to create my bridesmaid wedding choreography was hands down the BEST purchase I made for my wedding day. I’ve been dancing & taking classes w/ her off & on for the past 10 years of my life, she is truly an inspiration to me. The dance was an unforgettable bonding experience for me & my girls!!
