Jason and Giovanni and team were excellent. They came highly recommended, so we felt good right away, and even still they blew us out of the water. Getting every detail just right, taking each little (or big) thing off our plate, and plenty of things we never saw coming. For example, halfway through the night, a cousin came up and said she was having a great time, but she might have to leave early. The zipper had broken on her dress, and if she needed to use the restroom, she'd essentially have to rip her dress, and her evening would be over. Well, in swooped Jason and Giovanni with their 'Wedding Emergency Kit.' They whisked her away, FIXED THE DRESS, and she stayed until the end of the evening. We had a big wedding with lots of moving parts, none of which fazed Jason in the slightest. We could not have pulled off our dream wedding without him, and cannot recommend him and his team highly enough.

Jason and his team were everything we dreamed of and more!! My husband and I were wowed from the start by his personal approach - he really took the time to get to know us as a couple before crafting the perfect wedding weekend for us, and it showed. His ideas turned our wedding into an intensely personalized and personal affair, with creative touches and thoughtful elements throughout. Our biggest fear was having a cookie-cutter celebration, and he crafted a next-level embodiment of our life and love that everyone said was “so US!” Funky decor, an interactive ceremony, a dynamic timeline - he totally understood our energy and crafted a weekend to match. Beyond his endless creativity, he and his team handled every last tiny little detail the whole way through. We consulted on the fun stuff and they completely handled the minutiae of wedding planning - we knew every detail was in safe hands and were grateful to be spared the backend convos about parking, storage, chair widths, AV capabilities, etc without a second thought. Finally Jason was such a supportive, caring, and truly thoughtful partner to have throughout this process. He was an angel and an ally during the typical bumps of wedding planning - tricky venues, family drama - and was especially attentive regarding our ceremony. Our celebrant, a poet and wordsmith (and the groom’s older sister!) had never married a couple before and was looking for guidance; Jason went above and beyond helping her craft an entire ceremony, editing drafts, fielding questions and ultimately ensuring her confidence - and of course, a beautiful final product. As an English couple getting married in New York we had a lot to navigate along the way, and we felt that Jason and his team were there at every single stage to make the whole thing a smooth and enjoyable process. We wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend him to any other couple. As two grooms we had a lot of our own ideas for the wedding and were able to identify and source many of the spaces & vendors that we needed, but Jason really helped us bring those different pieces together into a wonderful cohesive experience - always helping us take things to the next level. Jason and his team really came into their own in the last month or so of the wedding - we could easily have been overwhelmed by everything coming together, especially from afar, but his team really took over all the contacts, practicalities and brought everything seemlessly together. We loved working with Jason and felt that by the day itself he was just another of our friends who we were glad to have spending the day with us - his small team faded into the background and everything went perfectly to schedule. We were able to totally relax and enjoy things without once having to worry about practicalities. Overall we had a fantastic wedding at the Bowery Hotel, and entertained our guests the day either side, and we couldn't have done any of it without Jason. We didn't keep things simple - we had different vendors providing flowers, lighting, catering... and unusually half a dozen different music providers. You wouldn't have known it wasn't just one team though. We did a lot of the selection & planning ourselves but that was very much our own choice and how we scoped the service - we wouldnt hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

We had an extremely challenging and complex wedding to plan/execute, internationally, and Jason & Co. made everything we asked for happen. Some of the best parts about working with JMK are just him and his team as people and their creativity.

Our wedding would not have been half as good as it was without Jason. I truly cannot say enough kind things about him. Jason and his team are top notch! We had very high expectations for our wedding weekend and the team delivered above and beyond expectations. We had a larger guest count and it was a lot to manage, but JMK & Co came with a great vendor portfolio and delivered three days of incredible events. If you're thinking about hiring Jason and team DO IT! Really truly the best.  My wife(!) and I wanted a small intimate wedding that was super "us" but we are incredibly busy people. We decided we wanted a wedding in Los Angeles, where we met, despite living on the other side of the country. From the first meeting Jason was incredibly reassuring that our small little dream wedding was not only possible, but completely doable. He helped us find amazing vendors, and everything was absolutely perfect. Our friends all remarked how "us" the wedding was, even though we had to do so little to make it happen. Jason listened to what we wanted and made it come to life. The day flew by and there wasn't even a second of stress in the entire planning process. And we were the worst type of clients! Very opinionated with no idea exactly what we wanted. But the team figured out exactly what we meant by our very vague descriptions. Nearly six months later and friends and family still say what a great experience the day was. Thanks to Jason, Michael, and the rest of the team we didn't experience any wedding stress, and we have amazing photos, videos, and memories of our perfect day. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Having Jason as our wedding planner was one of the best decisions we made during our entire wedding planning process! We booked Jason (and Dani) in March 2019 for our April 2020 Wedding Date in Upstate NY. When everything happened, we were about 50 days out from our wedding. Jason and Dani were right by our side (on Zoom at the time hahaha) through the entire emotional process of postponing our wedding. We ended up having to postpone an additional three more times and changed our Venue to here in NYC. Jason was essential in helping us through this entire journey. His knowledge of the industry is remarkable and he was able to help us find vendors that aligned with our vision and budget. During the planning process, he provides so many resources to keep everything organized! There are so many factors that go into planning the wedding (when to send invites, when to order the décor, etc.) and Jason helps you through every step of the process. Planning a wedding brings two families together and working with Jason is basically like bringing a third family into the mix. Jason Planned our wedding that took place on June 12, 2021 and it was one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever been to. His professionalism can’t be beat! Jason was kind, patient and on top of his game. He helped navigate us through the pandemic and did so smoothly. My husband and I are so happy that we got to work with Jason and that he planned the wedding of our dreams.

We just had our wedding and the day went pretty much seamless. The level of organization for the “run of show” was pretty impressive. Any issue that did come up, Jason and his team jumped into action including going head to head with an unruly priest. They made sure we ate, executed my vision for the wedding to a t, helped bring back our stuff to hotel room, no ask was too big. Also their level of professionalism was impressive. The JMK team are genuinely great people that you would want to spend time planning something somewhat stressful like a wedding with.

Jason is the very best! He was such a lifesaver to us throughout our entire experience- especially as we had to postpone/pivot due to Covid. He is thoughtful, charming, extremely detail-oriented, and went above and beyond his duties to make our long-awaited wedding weekend so special. It was honestly like he could read my mind, and knew exactly how to handle tough situations with vendors and family. We can't say enough good things about Jason- he is an absolute pleasure to be around and a no-brainer to work with!

It’s hard to understand the importance of a wedding planner until all hell breaks loose. The week of our wedding the weather forecast was incredible, all radar showed no signs of any rain or storms in the area. So on the Wednesday before our wedding, we released the hold on the emergency tent our venue required us to have. On Thursday evening, Jason called and calmly asked if I had some time to chat - he told us the band was concerned about weather and would need to ensure their equipment was covered. Long story short - my fiance was in tears, there was not a storm in sight, but we had to call and get the tent back. Jason took care of absolutely everything - ensuring we still had access to the clear top tent we wanted, lighting and chandeliers for inside of it, and enough greenery and draping to make sure it didn’t look like we had thrown it up as a last resort. (Ha!) It poured the entire morning of our wedding and finally broke just as we were about to have our first look and begin pictures. I share all of that to say, without Jason there to help us navigate, everything we spent a year planning would have been a soggy disaster. We can talk all day about his creativity, his attention to detail, his ability to listen to scattered plans about color schemes and grand hopes of unicorns and confetti cannons (oh wait, that happened), and his ability to breathe life into an event - but what it really comes down to when you hire Jason is execution. There are a million things that can go any which way when you’re planning a wedding (or any event for that matter) but he truly had a handle on all of them. He took every opportunity to manage and problem solve without involving us - which gave us the chance to enjoy our day without knowing half of what was going on behind the scenes. Now, this may sound stressful to some, but I promise you that over the time you spend working with him, your conversations will feel like they are with a friend and he will truly take the time to KNOW who you are as a couple - so on your day, he can run the behind the scenes magic, making the choices he is already knows you would make - giving you the chance to have the singular moment in your life you will never have the opportunity to create again. We worked with Jason from South Carolina while he was in both New York and LA - and we never felt like he was out of touch or across the country from us. There is no question that he will be a part of any event we throw in the future. No review or recommendation could ever put into words what he means to us and the experience he gave us for our wedding weekend.

Jason was such an incredible boon. He was so accessible and was always brimming with great ideas. He made the whole process easy and was always fun! We are so grateful that we had him for our wedding!

Jason is an absolute dream. Our wedding started out as a "normal" wedding, and planning that with Jason was easy and relaxing. Jason is creative and thoughtful and never lets the wedding stress snowball start rolling. THEN when things got COVID crazy, Jason did not disappoint. He stayed cool and practical and worked with us to figure out how we wanted to handle our unique situation. He helped us come up with ways to make our Zoom guests feel included, i.e. sending individual champagne bottles to all of them, and it made the day so special. Jason wasn't able to be at our wedding in-person as we are in LA and he was stuck in NYC, but he made sure to set us up with one of his colleagues and she was truly amazing the week and day of. Jason was wonderful about communicating with us and her so it felt like it had been part of the plan the whole time. It felt like Jason was there every step of the way, FaceTiming into our important vendor meetings and throughout the wedding weekend, making sure we felt supported. Because of Jason, what could have been a very difficult time was seamless and unique and fun and a truly beautiful day. We can't wait to plan our big post-COVID party with Jason as soon as we can!! Especially so we can see him in one of his famous wedding suits!!

I hired Jason to be my day coordinator for my small intimate wedding in Brooklyn last November. I had talked to a few day coordinators and I just felt right away Jason got it, he understood that I was no fuss bride and really just didn’t know what I was doing nor was I into really planning a wedding while working a very stressful full time job. Before my wedding he took control with coordinating with the musicians and the officiant and any last minute details with the venue and was there when I needed help deciding on things. On the day of my wedding he was great, so nice and so personable and best of all he took care of everything….I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on my day. Everything ran so smoothly. I couldn’t recommend Jason enough. He will make planning your wedding so easy and he is really there for you.

Working with Jason was an absolute dream. We had been planning on having a larger wedding (which we will still have eventually, with Jason again as planner) but then Covid struck. My husband and I were pretty devastated, but thankfully Jason carefully and calmly walked us through our options to still have an event on our chosen day. The event we ended up having completely exceeded our expectations and having Jason there to make sure everything went smoothly and to coordinate with our vendors took so much stress off our plates. Stop right there. You can not get married without Jason Mitchell. It has taken me an embarrassingly long time to write this review. There is no way these words can convey how vital Jason was to our wedding. Yes, he takes care of all the details. Yes, he manages the day of stress. Yes, he walks you through what you need to decide, when you need to decide it and whose opinions need to be considered in the deciding. He masters all those things you expect from a wedding planner. He executes them flawlessly. But Jason is not just a wedding planner, he is a wedding storyteller. When he meets with you and your partner, he gets to know you as individuals and as a couple. He listens to your love story and then he begins to plan a work of art (your wedding) that somehow exudes you - your relationship, the essence of the "us" you are creating - and invites your guests to be witness to that story on the big day. He doesn't accomplish this with a storyteller's typical medium, words. He does it through the emotional flow of the ceremony, the music that welcomes you into the reception, the arc of the toasts/speeches. All those essential wedding moments are so carefully planned to let the entire room of family and friends feel the power and unique character of this couple's love. 5 years later, I still have guests at our wedding tell us that our wedding was the best wedding they ever attended. Our wedding was fun, celebratory and so very us. Jason is the only person I know who can grasp so precisely what makes you you and bring the beauty of that out for all of your family and friends to enjoy. And not to forget a very important point. Jason will make sure it's the best party of your life!

Simply put Jason Kahn will make your dream wedding come true—executing on every detail from venue selection, vendor selection, and of course all of the organization and design along the way. Starting our wedding planning process, we had no idea how complex planning such an event could be—Jason was with us every step of the way. At the early planning stages, he listened to us and helped us select the best vendors to make our day a reality. He ensured that we were on track for various milestones—including sending out Save the Dates and invitations, among many others. Fast forwarding to the few weeks ahead of the wedding and of course the wedding weekend—he made every detail come together like a well rehearsed Broadway production (makes sense as he is also a playwright!). He allowed us to be guests, not just at our wedding, but during the whole wedding weekend. His assistant Dani—is also a star in her own right, she really made our “day of” go so smoothly, and helped us organize our families. We cannot imagine what planning this wedding would have been like without Jason, he seamlessly guided us through the process. We knew that we didn’t need to worry because Jason had it under control. There are so many details we didn’t know existed! Jason connected us to amazing professionals and helped find local vendors near Westchester (we got married in Rye) who were familiar with our venue. Jason is a wizard on keeping track of vendors and communicating our vision - and helping us stay in budget. Throughout the planning process we had complete confidence in Jason, knowing he would see us through to the finish line with everything accomplished. He magically stays on top of every little detail. Jason is the Jedi master of “the Big Day” — in every way he guided and with us explored this very personal, meaningful and expensive ritual. Jason is a dream to work with. Not only did he make the process fun leading up to the wedding, but he absolutely created a space that was stunning and gave us the chance to enjoy our day. I tend to worry (a-lot, as does my mother)...with Jason at the helm, I just knew it was going to be perfect - and it was! As for my mother, I think she would have married Jason herself. We were all so calm because he put us to ease with his tireless planning, constant professionalism, extensive knowledge and genuine personality. We started the journey for a destination wedding in Palm Springs, a city I had been to once and my husband not at all. We started with a tour of several venues in one day. All were great, but of course the one we loved most was out of the budget. Jason got to the heart of what we liked about that property and went to work. He found us the most amazing venue that checked all of our boxes - and some we didn’t even know we had! He coordinated another visit to that property and we instantly fell in love. From there it was a super efficient process with Jason managing the various vendors, budget and keeping us on track leading up to the 3 days of wedding festivities. The day of the wedding was beautiful...and about 20 degrees cooler than we had expected. But not to fear! Jason coordinated heaters and our guests received pashminas at each chair. I know there were fire drills, but I didn’t know about ANY of them while they were happening (and still to this day). Jason protected us from any possible stress and took care of everything. We could not be happier with our wedding and know for sure it would not have been as wonderful without Jason’s involvement. Jason was totally on-board when it came to planning our untraditional wedding. He was an expert at anticipating and navigating the difficult logistics that accompanied using an unexpected venue, and his guidance was indispensable to my partner and I, when our ideas of the "perfect wedding" didn't always align. It was a wonderful experience working with Jason; I would recommend him to my dearest friends!

Jason was an amazing wedding planner! He made sure we were all set for our big day and worked with us every step of the way. On the day of our wedding, he was the best. My wife was not stressed, we knew where to go and where to be at all times. I’ve been to a lot of weddings and none were nearly this smooth and flawless. Jason was awesome with our bridal party and families. I was so happy to have him support us through the whole process and weekend!

Jason is hands down THE BEST. He helped us to plan our rustic-chic fall wedding upstate and we couldn't have been happier with our decision to hire him. We quickly learned there were many difficulties associated with throwing a larger wedding in a barn in a small town in the middle of the NY countryside, and he was there to walk us through every step of the way and catch details we may otherwise have missed. He solved problems before we even knew they existed, which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. Needless to say the day of went flawlessly, in large part thanks to Jason. He's smart, quick on his feet, has impeccable attention to detail, and is a true original. But most of all he's a great guy, and someone we were thrilled to invite into one of the most special and joyous days of our lives :)
