Vintage to Modern Events

A coworker of mine told me that Vintage to Modern Events would be the prefect florist for my weeding, and she was right! Renita is wonderful to work with, pays attention to details and reasonably priced. She made our big day special!!

I first approached Renita with the idea of creating a flower wall that would be dramatic and eye catching to all of our wedding guests. She understood the assignment because her design took my breath away! Renita was amazing to work with throughout the process and she was very understanding of my ideas. From zoom calls to meeting in person during our hotel walkthrough, Renita was in constant communication with thoughts and ideas on how to create this vision of my mind. She brought my floral backdrop dream to life!

Renita stepped right in with less than 30 days until our wedding and made magic happen. She was very professional, friendly and organized. Throughout our process she made sure that we had a detailed schedule of our wedding day and provided the vendors with detailed information as well. We are so grateful that we found Renita and would highly suggest her services for your event coordination and decor/rental.

Where do I even start to sing the praises of Vintage to Modern Events, specifically our coordinator, Renita?! My husband and I's relationship with Renita goes a ways back...long, long before the pandemic! Like almost all couples, we had a budget - not bare-bones but certainly not extravagant. We had a couple sessions of picking out the overall look, fabrics, color themes, etc., all that good stuff. Then COVID hit. As the bride, I was so stressed and contacted Renita multiple times about postponing and her thoughts on the whole situation each time. She provided amazing insight and stuck by each of our 3 postponements! Well, the big day got closer and of course since we had originally signed for things 2 years ago at this point, prices had understandably gone up. We scaled back some things here and there but the final product was AMAZING. Renita brought to life my simple vision of "I love big, puffy, spherical centerpieces!" Because of our budget, she repurposed some of the florals (at the end of the aisle to either side of our head table) and they really ended up being statement pieces. Guests could not stop talking about the settings and just how dreamy and fancy the ambiance was, with one one describing it as "This is like a celebrity's wedding!" To me, it looked just like those fancy wedding photos they use in hotel ads and it was exactly what I wanted! I really don't know how Renita did it, especially when she had a wedding each the two nights before(!), but it all came together perfectly, even with hiccups from the hotel's side of things on the actual day. She kept our guests in line when needed (haha) and our vendors as well (when they needed it!).

Renita was so awesome to work with, and her products are so beautiful. They were exactly what we were looking for! In hindsight, I wish I had used more of the services she offers. All in all, she was incredibly sweet and flexible. Will be using her again and if the need arises!

Renita was an absolute delight to work with. There were many changes that happened with this wedding but she was empathetic and adapted and was able to execute my vision to a T. She made a personal delivery on my wedding day and all the florals exceeded my expectations. Thank you guys so much for being a part of our big day.

Renita is the absolute best! From start to finish her customer service is unmatched. I researched several vendors and contacted Vintage to Modern Events on a whim 2 months before my wedding after having to change wedding venues due to COVID-19 capacity restrictions. We chatted on the phone for nearly an hour discussing my circumstance and vision for my upcoming wedding. Renita is so genuine and understanding. She scheduled an in person meeting at my convenience and is very timely. Her fabric and table linen collection is something straight out of my dreams! We mixed and match materials and textures and came up with the perfect styling for my ceremony & reception. We remained in regular communication and scheduled a site visit with the venue beforehand as well. She came up with even more beautiful ideas on-site as well as the appropriate layout for the ceremony. Her vintage furniture collection is incredible and so well maintained. Each piece was photo ready. Renita is a joy to work and extremely accommodating. She tracked the weather up to the day is my wedding to ensure any changes would be taken into consideration in advance. Her team is just as friendly. My overall experience was very pleasant. She was a truly blessing me and I’m so thankful we crossed paths.

Great!!! We reached out at the last minute possible for rentals for a small wedding. They were quick to jump in and get a proposal ready for us. Delivery/pick up was so easy and the products we used from them were beautiful!
