I wish everybody could have a wedding experience like we did at the Oakley. I seriously cannot stress that enough. It was such an incredible experience and we are still in shock at how seamless and perfect everything went. You will not get the hospitality, customer service, thoroughness, organization, or dedication from any other team that you work with. My husband and I toured the Oakley 2+ years before our wedding. On our tour, Alicia welcomed us with open arms, sat us down, made us feel comfortable, went through everything with us, and never pressured us to make a decision. When walked out that day, we both looked at eachother and knew we wanted to get married there and sent our deposit in. From that moment, Alicia became more than a venue coordinator to us. She became a friend. We exchanged hundreds to thousands (literally) of emails and she was always happy and timely to respond to all of our questions. She was extremely organized with all of our ideas and plans and had everything laid out for us. She had every detail set and made wedding planning so easy. We truly felt so at ease. When we got closer to the wedding, we had multiple calls to ensure we were both on the same page and the organization still didn’t waver. She contacted our vendors, kept us in the loop, and made sure all of our final details were perfected. The weekend of the wedding, everything went absolutely perfect. The Oakley Bar was great to work with for our alcohol, everything was organized and we had them handle everything - there was no stress! The Oakley is a family owned venue and that speaks volumes. Everything on the property was immaculate and perfect. The staff was incredibly sweet, family oriented, and made sure everything was just how we envisioned. You even build a relationship with the owners of the property! Our wedding guests continue to tell us how beautiful the property was and how they have never been to a wedding where the staff was so welcoming and involved and just how the venue is truly one of a kind. Not to mention, everything is right on site in one place. The ceremony space, greenhouse and courtyard for cocktail hour, bridal suite, reception area, and hundreds of different beautiful, timeless, and breathtaking areas for photos - the Oakley is truly a one stop stop! You have to see it for yourself! I truly wish everybody could get an opportunity to experience their wedding day with a team like the Oakley. I cannot recommend this venue enough. If you are considering the Oakley, they will give you an experience that will make your wedding day or event as perfect and magical as you dream of it to be.

Everything about this venue is fantastic. They were always there to help and answer my questions from the beginning. The Oakley team made my dream wedding happen. Everything was organized, which helped ease my mind in the weeks leading up to my wedding.

I cannot express enough how incredible our experience was with The Oakley and our coordinator, Alicia. From the moment we began planning, Alicia was there promptly answering all our questions about the venue and ensuring we felt completely at ease. The tour day, and our wedding day truly felt like a fairy tale come to life. Everything was seamless, just as Alicia promised from day one. We were able to rent the horse carriage and it made it feel even more like a fairy tale. We also had the option to rent the greenhouse for a rehearsal dinner. I highly recommend this because it was a nice intimate dinner to welcome guests- something you might not get at a restaurant. The Oakley Bar, preferred vendors, and co-owners Cathy and Ken were also fantastic to work with! Choosing The Oakley and working with Alicia was undoubtedly the best decision we made in our wedding planning journey. We are forever grateful for their dedication and expertise in making our day absolutely perfect.

The Oakley is an amazing wedding venue, not only is it gorgeous the staff are truly wonderful. Our wedding truly went so smoothly and that was all thanks to the Oakley staff that were there to help us every step of the way.

We booked the Oakley without even seeing it in person, that’s how good they are. My fiancé and I were living out of state when we were planning our Michigan wedding. Our parents went to visit the Oakley for us and basically told us it was the perfect venue and we would be crazy not to book it. Well, they were right. The second we started talking to Alicia over the phone, I knew this was the place I wanted to get married. Not only was she extremely professional, she also felt like someone we knew for years. You’re not just another wedding at the Oakley, you’re family. We spent 2 years planning our wedding and Alicia was always there for questions big and small, vendor recommendations, and support to help guide us through the planning process. The Oakley truly allows you to plan your perfect day down to each custom detail. Even the bar staff work one on one with you to create signature cocktails, and allow each couple to choose what specific alcohol you want on your big day. Not many venues allow you this much choice. Not only are the staff amazing, the venue space offers so much flexibility. Each couple has access to the venue from Friday to Sunday so you can really enjoy your day on Saturday without the stress of set up and tear down. Not only that, the grounds are amazingly tranquil and dreamy. So many of our guests were stunned at this private hidden gem. There are so many different spaces to utilize. We had our rehearsal dinner in the greenhouse on Friday night. We used the same space for a sunny cocktail hour on the patio. The reception space is a perfect modern but classic blank slate for whatever wedding vision you have. I can’t thank Alicia and the rest of the Oakley staff enough. We felt cared for, heard, supported, and loved from the moment we booked them. I already miss the Oakley team and wish we could do it all over again!

If you’re looking for a unique and beautiful wedding venue, this is the spot! Our wedding was July 29 2023 and I can honestly say the whole day was absolutely perfect. The venue coordinator, Alicia, was so knowledgeable throughout the process and made sure everything was executed perfectly. From the first time we toured the venue to the day of our wedding she was there for any questions that we had. Wedding planning can be so overwhelming, but Alicia and her team made it easy and seamless. We had access to the venue starting the Friday before until the Sunday after. What I loved about The Oakley was that they only do one wedding a weekend so you are their priority for the whole weekend. The property itself is well kept and expansive. All of our guests raved about how beautiful it was. Thank you Oakley team for helping us with the most perfect day that we will never forget!

The venue is beautiful including the greenhouse, courtyard, and indoor reception area. The Oakley also offers an individual experience to make your day completely about you and your spouse! Our day was perfect and stress-free due to the efforts Alicia put in throughout the entire planning process. Trust me, I would email her endlessly and she always answered the same day. We truly could not have conjured up a better team to work with if we tried. The team at The Oakley are incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and above all - ON TOP OF IT. We spent two years planning our wedding and not once over that time span did we feel overwhelmed or confused after leaving a meeting or conversation with Alicia McKay. She helped us stay organized, kept an open line of communication, and made sure we weren’t forgetting any small details that otherwise would be easy to overlook. Words cannot describe the wonderful service the oakley provides. From the month of coordinator, to the amazing estates, the up-to-date modern decor. Alicia contacted all of my venders, created a detailed schedule, i literally did nothing. Falicia & Alicia made my wedding day go so smoothly. They made my entire wedding SO easy. The entire venue is kept up with so well, it is a luxury event. I recommend this venue to EVERYONE. I cannot express enough how perfect my wedding was and i am extremely picky and a perfectionist.

The Oakley was the absolute best wedding venue. I felt so stress-free during the wedding planning process because Alicia is such a PRO! She was a simple text/call away from any silly questions I had over the course of my nine month engagement. My whole family and several guests specifically said how amazing The Oakley staff was. Anything we needed at all during the wedding day was covered by Alicia and her team. An EXCEPTIONAL venue. The venue was so clean and the outdoor landscape was very manicured. My wife and I had our wedding at the Oakley this past October and I have received countless phone calls/texts from people just calling to let me know how beautiful the venue is. Alicia and her staff made sure the wedding went as planned and made sure that the night flowed seamlessly. Weddings have a lot of moving parts, so being able to relax and not worry about anything is something I don't think most people understand the true value of until the next day. Alicia worked with us every step of the way from booking in 2020 to all the fine details on the day of in June of 2022. The Oakley is an amazing wedding venue! We got married in May and the property is so beautiful in the spring. Such a warm and loving family who owns it. Everything went so smoothly and I would HIGHLY recommend them!

Where do I begin?! Alicia and The Oakley team were beyond amazing! Alicia was extremely flexible, kind, personable, and responsive. She made us feel comfortable and stress free throughout the process and especially the day of! The vendor list that she provided was extremely helpful! We went with Redwood Steakhouse for catering and Ruby Slipper for the beautiful farmhouse tables! Our wedding was perfect! I received so many compliments from our guests about the different places to hang out! It is such a flexible venue that you can truly make your own! I HIGHLY recommend The Oakley to whoever is planning their next big event!

Alicia, Lily, Kathy, and Ken went above and beyond to ensure our day was absolutely perfect. Alicia and Lily are wonderful to work with, both day-of and during the planning process; they are sweet, responsive, and incredibly organized! When we had an issue with a vendor, Alicia did not hesitate to step in to help us. Kathy and Ken were just as kind and generous, going out of their way to help in any way they could. We recently got married there after having to reschedule twice due to Covid and they helped every way they could along the way, accommodating all our requests. Alicia is extremely detail oriented and helped ensure that everything went off without a hitch on our big day. From vendor recommendations to creating ceremony and reception layouts to working with us to coordinate our wedding weekend timeline (we chose to rent The Estate and hosted our wedding party there), the staff at The Oakley made our wedding rehearsal and wedding day run seamlessly and completely stress free. We highly recommend the Oakley!

Highly recommend The Oakley! Not only is it a beautiful venue, but above all, they are phenomenal people to work with. My husband and I had to reschedule our wedding due to the pandemic and Alicia and the rest of the team made it an easy transition as well allowed us to celebrate our original wedding date with them in a small ceremony. You can feel how much they love being a space to celebrate and genuinely want the best for you. While we already had two weddings there, if we were going to go for a third it would totally be at The Oakley.

I wish there were more stars to give! Alicia and her team/family went above and beyond for our wedding. I am a covid bride so postponing our wedding was one of the hardest things we had to do last year after already being engaged since 2018. Alicia handled it with grace and let all my vendors know what was going on. I've been in contact with Alicia since 2018! She not only answers every single detailed question I throw her way, but she always got back to me same day! Sometimes even within the hour! Mark and I have nothing but amazing things to say about The Oakley. Every single guest had something nice to say and the night seemed effortless. Wow what a night and worth the wait! We could not have chosen a better a venue for our wedding. The scenery outside is gorgeous, the greenhouse is amazing for photos, and the inside is very spacious and beautiful. Alicia and the rest of the Oakley team were amazing to work with and were on top of everything that came at them (including a thunderstorm and a power outage). They made sure our day was perfect in every way and I couldn’t imagine it anywhere else.

The Oakley was truly the most amazing place to hold our wedding ceremony and then anniversary reception. During the summer of 2020 with all the unknowns they let us have a small ceremony that was absolutely gorgeous. Alicia and her team were incredible. Then we postponed our reception to the following year and we couldn't have been happier. We received tons of compliments on the venue and as the bride and groom Alicia, Ken, Cathy and Lily were so sweet, attentive and such a blast to work with. We hope to be able to use the space again someday. Our day(s) were perfect and the venue was key.

My husband and I looked at a decent amount of venues before finding the Oakley and booked it the day we toured - there is nothing like it! Alicia is amazing and organized and made the process of wedding planning so easy for us. We rented The Estate for the weekend, had the rehearsal dinner there Friday night and our Reception on Saturday in the venue. It was the best weekend of our lives and I could not recommend The Oakley more. Alicia, Cathy, and Ken made the day unforgettable and were on top of literally everything before and the weekend of the wedding and kept me sane. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the grounds are, how great the McKay family is, and how much fun they had.

We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding. As soon as we met Alicia & saw the grounds we fell in love. The Oakley is extremely versatile which was beyond important as we were attempting to plan our wedding with the uncertainty of a pandemic. Alicia, Cathy, and Ken went above and beyond to make sure that we were able to have our dream wedding no matter the circumstances. They offered us multiple options and back up plans in case of any changes. We ended up having our wedding completely outdoors and it was beautiful. Everyone at The Oakley is so hands on and willing to help make the day a success. The made us feel like family for the weekend.

We could not speak more highly of the Oakley and Alicia. The venue is beautiful, the preferred vendors made our planning easy, and Alicia is extremely professional and responsive. We thought planning our wedding from out of state would be more difficult, but Alicia's quick response to all of our emails, even on nights and weekends, made everything so much easier. During the COVID-19 situation, Alicia was so supportive and flexible, making herself available to talk through options and alternatives. When we decided cancelling our wedding was the best option for us personally, the Oakley continued to be supportive and showed that they truly just wanted us to be happy. It's in a crazy situation like COVID that we are grateful we chose a family run venue that was so kind and understanding during all of the uncertainty. While we didn't end up getting to host our day there, we will be recommending the Oakley to all of our family and friends and hopefully will get to go back!

We had the absolute best day thanks to The Oakley! Alicia was absolutely amazing to work with and made everything so easy, any issues, changes anything she gladly made them and took care of them! Any questions we had she was always so quick to get back with us! the owners are also extremely easy to work with, they made everything we wanted work without hesitation! The venue is kept so nice and so clean, and it alone is beautiful without decor! The grounds are kept so nice, with such a large variety of locations to take photos! Truly an amazing venue but even better when they are so easy to work with! Couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day and owe it all to them for making my day so magical!

Thank you thank you thank you for making our wedding dreams come true! Alicia was an absolute dream to work with. She was always so kind, fun, and accommodating. Her and Cathy were always willing to help out wherever need be, especially in the prep work and day of troubleshooting last minute things that came up. I cannot say enough how beautiful the venue is. It was rustic and peaceful and romantic and airy and just so wonderful. It was so nice having the wedding and reception at the same location so everyone could truly sit back and relax at the wedding, cocktail hour, and reception. Guests were all over inside and outside, playing games, down by the pond, sitting by the fire, and visiting the horses. People felt like they truly got to relax and enjoy the day rather than running around driving to different locations for different parts of the day. It was so magical and everyone STILL keeps complimenting the wedding and how beautiful the venue was! I also can’t say enough about how convenient it was to get ready in the bridal suite the morning of. All the girls were at the venue and got to hang out and it allowed us more time to get photos rather than scramble to be somewhere else at a certain time. The guys got ready in the lower level of the estate the day of and had a great time playing cards and pool and just being guys. Everything about our wedding flowed so smoothly and was SO beautiful I would choose the Oakley over and over again! Best day ever thanks to the best venue and best staff ever!!!

If I could give The Oakley & the staff 10/5 I would!!! First of all, the venue & the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. One visit to The Oakley and you will fall in love. We rented the estate for our rehearsal dinner & for the wedding party to stay the night on Friday- this worked out so wonderfully and everyone had a blast! The groomsmen got ready at the estate on Saturday morning, which worked out so well. The bridesmaids got ready in the bridal suite in the venue, which is so beautiful! Secondly, Alicia, Cathy, & Ken of The Oakley are a dream team. They went above and beyond for us all throughout the planning process and the weekend of our wedding. They were always willing to meet with us and so patient with our endless questions! Our wedding turned out better than we could have ever hoped! I would recommend The Oakley to everyone!!! The Oakley & the staff have a place in our hearts forever!! We couldn't have asked for anything more.

We had our wedding at The Oakley at the end of September and we could not be happier with our decision. We met Alicia and the McKays when The Oakley was still a functioning barn and immediately knew we needed to book with them. Alicia and the McKay family went above and beyond from the start to make sure our wedding was perfect. We stayed at the house with our out of town family and used the house to host our rehearsal dinner and Sunday brunch. Utilizing the house made our wedding that much more special-- we were able to have everyone together and it made set up and getting ready the day of so much easier and less stressful. Alicia and the entire family made sure our wedding was perfect and made sure everything went smoothly. The venue looked amazing on its own- other than our tables we didn’t have to worry about any additional decorations. The Oakley itself and the surrounding farm made for an amazing setting. Being able to utilize the outdoor space for cocktail hour and throughout the night made it so much more unique for our guests. We received compliments from our guests all night, and continuing today, about how amazing and unique the venue was. We would absolutely recommend The Oakley to anyone- it made our wedding day so perfect!

The Oakley Events hosted my wedding just a few days ago. My husband and I planned our wedding in a short time frame and the McKays were nothing short of amazing. They helped us any and every way they could. The venue and property itself is just beyond gorgeous. Every guest was amazed and shocked to find such a gorgeous venue in Holly. The McKay's made sure every part of our day was perfect. If your wondering if you should book your event here....do it. You will be so glad you did! We even took our sunset pictures with their beautiful horses. I will look back on our wedding day and always be so thankful we got to choose The Oakley Events. Thank you for all you did!

I would like to thank the Oakley and the McKay family for making our day so special! We were so extremely lucky to be the first wedding to take place at the Oakley and I am so glad that we were! The venue is absolutely stunning!!! My husband and I live in England so we had to do most of our planning from overseas. Alicia did an amazing job coordinating with us and even attending some of our potential vendor meetings. I was quite nervous planning a wedding from so far away, but Alicia made it easy and answered all my questions and concerns at the drop of a hat. The actual wedding day went above and beyond my expectations! The bridal suite is so elegant and perfect for the pre-wedding photos of the bridal party! The ceremony space was also breathtaking with a view of their pond and the endless woods in the background. The photos of the ceremony came out beautifully and just as I wanted them! The venue itself, my guests would not stop talking about!! The chandeliers and the other lighting features were definitely a big hit with our guests! It was definitely one of our favourites too! Not only that, but the indoor/outdoor bar was perfect for our cocktail hour and reception! The venue is elegant and modern and beyond breathtaking. I could go on for days talking about the venue! But honestly, the Oakley is a beautiful venue that I recommend you take a look at! However, for me, the amazing venue wasn’t the only reason why I chose this location. In addition to this gorgeous venue, I got a loving and caring family that was willing to do anything to make sure our wedding day was everything we dreamed of. That is what made me choose this venue! I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue! The outdoor ceremony was beautiful. The indoor reception had everything we wanted and more. The bridal suite was amazing. I had a large group of girls getting ready plus our hair stylists and there was more than enough room. The co-owner and venue coordinator, Alicia, was very quick to respond to any questions I had and also had a lot of helpful recommendations. I was hoping to get some sunset pictures on their land and she even went as far as taking us out there on their golf cart so we didn’t have to walk and showed us the perfect spot. They’re super friendly and very organized! The entire day went by so smoothly.
