Micaela was born for this job - she is the most positive, calming, and professional photographer I have ever encountered and I feel so lucky to have had her photograph our wedding day. I would recommend Micaela to anyone looking for a wedding day photographer who will not only deliver the most incredible photos but who will also make the process from start to finish such a breeze. Micaela is extremely professional and has such a bright and positive personality which made working with her so fun. As a bride, you spend a lot of time with your photographer throughout the day, so personality was important for me when hiring a wedding day photographer. I wanted someone who I could see myself being comfortable hanging out with all day and having around my family, bridesmaids, and meshing with all the various personalities. Micaela knows how to work with all the parties, is extremely efficient with the shot list, and knows how to command a room full of people to get everything done. She makes it fun for everyone and was amazing at cueing poses for everyone. I am over the moon with our wedding photos they are so stunning. The photographs are what will live on long after the wedding day so I am thrilled that we love our photos so much and Micaela executed our vision to a tee. Micaela captured our day perfectly and we feel so lucky to have worked with her!

We cannot say enough about Micaela! She is absolutely incredible. My husband and I are both a little camera shy, but from the second we met Micaela during our engagement session to our wedding day, she made us feel like taking pictures was natural. She had us play games with each other during our session, so not only did we have fun, but the photos look even more natural! Micaela made the time for our engagement session just one week before our wedding, and it made us feel so comfortable with her on our wedding day. We had a very large wedding party and both have big families and Micaela and her second photographer were so patient and made sure we got every picture we wanted. We can’t thank Micaela enough for the amazing job that she did on our wedding photos! My husband and I had actually been to a few of her other weddings where she did such a phenomenal job on our friends and family weddings that we HAD to have her for our wedding too after seeing how great she did. Micaela was the easiest vendor we worked with - from our engagement shoots and our wedding photos, you felt like it was a close friend taking your pictures. She is a natural with the camera and is very calm and collected, and makes you feel at ease and natural. On such a stressful day like a wedding, it made things so much easier to have her capture our special moments - before we knew it after what felt like a quick photo session, we had hundreds of amazing photos that were sent to us so quickly! Some of our favorite photos were when she candidly took some shots of my husband and I practicing our first dance before we were announced into the room by the DJ - we didn’t even know she was taking these, but it just speaks to how professional she is and how much experience she has to capture the right moments. We are so happy that Micaela was our photographer, and we are looking forward to a lifetime of memories through her exceptional work. We would highly recommend her to anyone for any sort of photo session. She is the best!

My husband and I both considered photography to be one of the top priorities of our wedding. We wanted photos that would capture our relationship and the celebration of our marriage, and Micaela did not disappoint. Micaela did both our engagement and wedding photos, and came up with prompts to help us feel more comfortable in front of the camera (we are very awkward). She was also extremely helpful in creating the timeline of the day and making sure we got all the shots we wanted. Micaela’s second shooter Abbie was also great at bringing out our best selves on camera.

Micaela is absolutely incredible and I cannot recommend her enough!! We got engaged December 2021 and married October 2023. She was one of the first vendors we booked after she photographed another wedding we attended and we are SO happy we did. We had to change our engagement session a few times and she was always so flexible and accommodating. We were both nervous to be in front of the camera but Micaela put us instantly at ease with lots of prompts that made us genuinely laugh or smile and the pictures were more than I ever could have asked for. Our wedding package included timeline help for the wedding day and she was available right up until the day to talk through questions and logistics. The day of the wedding, she exceeded our already high expectations. She was more than happy to go with the flow all while capturing such intimate moments of our day without us even realizing she was there. She kept us on schedule (we were even ahead for a bit) throughout the day and ensured that we got the very best photos possible. While she’s so loving and genuine and fun, she’s also incredibly professional as well. 100/10!

I cannot say enough positive things about Micaela and her work! She is incredibly kind, friendly and pleasant to work with. My husband and I were nervous when it came to taking photos, but she put us at ease immediately. The photos have come out amazingly due to her hard work and beautiful editing! Hire Micaela for your wedding, and it will be the best decision you made! I hate posing because I feel awkward and uncomfortable, so I really prefer candid shots. Micaela is an absolute pro at candids. She’ll make you feel so comfortable and relaxed that you forget you’re having your pictures taken….and the pictures come out beautiful! Like stunning. I also got married at night in the middle of winter, which is not the easiest light to work in, but Micaela is a lighting genius as well. Micaela is hands down, the BEST OF THE BEST! It is difficult to write a review only because it feels impossible to put into words just how amazing she truly is. We first fell in love with Micaela’s work via Instagram and what solidified our desire to work with her was her responsiveness, personable and cheery attitude and her experience photographing weddings inside of a church. The first time we met with Micaela was in the Fall of 2020 for our engagement session. My husband and I don’t take many photos and typically feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. We never once felt uncomfortable while shooting with her. She has such a fun, no pressure, and unique way of getting you to pose without making you feel posed and stiff. When we got our photo gallery back we were just stunned. We wanted beautiful fall-inspired, golden-hour photos and it was exactly what we got. We could not stop looking at all of the beautiful moments she captured – all of which looked candid and relaxed. When we had to postpone our wedding the first time in 2021 Micaela was unbelievably kind to us and understanding of our situation when so many of our other vendors were not. She made such an impression on us that when we decided to choose a new date for our wedding in 2022, we literally planned the date around her availability. When our second wedding day came, we had to postpone the day-of due to testing positive for COVID and once again, Micaela was kind and understanding and never once made us feel bad for having to make changes last minute. She even made magic happen to accommodate our third and final date. A true kindness that we will never forget. There was not a single moment during my wedding day where I was stressed that we weren’t getting the photos we wanted or anxious about making sure she caught something on camera. It just wasn’t even a worry that crossed my mind. I was 100% confident that Micaela would capture everything I could ever think of and more. Micaela is an expert in her craft – it goes without saying. What makes her stand out from the rest is her genuine kindness and her way of making you feel like old friends and immediately putting you at ease no matter how awkward or uncomfortable you may feel when it comes to having your photo taken. There are so many options out there when it comes to wedding photography and we feel incredibly lucky to have found Micaela. The planning calls, the pre-wedding questionnaire, and constant support during the day - she is the BEST. We booked micaela for our wedding day and we couldn’t have been happier! She was so easy to work with and so organized. Day of she made everything so easy going. We got a sneak peak of our photos a few days after our wedding and are thrilled with how they came out. Definitely recommend!

Honestly I wish I could give Micaela a 10 star review. She was an absolutely incredible addition to our Wedding Weekend. Unlike many couples that worked with Micaela my husband and I are not based in New England and thus did not use Micaela for our Engagement photos. Micaela was incredible wonderful to work with from the very beginning, providing flexibility with her contract and offering to shoot our rehearsal dinner instead of the standard Engagement package. Since we didn't work with Micaela for our Engagement shoot the first time we met her was our wedding weekend! I was a bit nervous if we would get along, and how she would capture us never having met us, but in the end my fear was absolutely unnecessary. Micaela has an incredible gift for seeing her couples for who they are and making them feel comfortable in high-adrenaline situations. The candid shots she captured are some of my favorite photos ever and really recaptured the joy and love of our wedding. And the formal shots were so tasteful and natural. Micaela is truly more than just a photographer, she is a pillar of support and joy; would STRONGLY recommend her for any couples looking for a wedding (or life!) photographer.

We met Micaela in 2018 when searching for the perfect wedding photographer and man did we hit the JACKPOT. Micaela has been nothing short of amazing throughout every session and was a constant support system through all of the wedding changes we had to make. She took the time out of her extremely busy schedule to help ease the stress of COVID changes and give really great advice. Micaela did my brother's wedding a few years ago, and she was so good that when I got engaged, I knew she was the person I wanted! I usually feel camera shy and uncomfortable when my picture is taken, but I know how much of a treasure a wedding album would be! I saw how laid back, considerate, and talented Micaela was when she shot my brother's wedding, so I was hoping she would be the right fit to put someone like me at ease. And holy cow was I right! We haven't had our wedding yet (covid postponement...) but Micaela shot our engagement photos last year. I can't say enough about how positive that experience was. I dearly wanted the photos, but was dreading the posing and awkwardness of it. I had absolutely nothing to be worried about! Micaela has the right presence and so much grace that she made the whole photo shoot fun! My partner and I were cracking up laughing and so at ease the whole time. With her games and conversation starters it actually felt like a fun date we were on, and I was shocked to find that I didn't want it to end!! Her photos speak for themselves - her ability to work with light, compose a shot, and capture that authentic moment are so evident. But if any of you are somehow still on the fence, what is harder to see in her online gallery is how much genuine joy and kindness she radiates. Enough to wash away the anxieties of even the most camera shy bride! I can't wait to have her with us for our wedding!

We feel so lucky and thankful to have found Micaela! Both my husband and I were a bit nervous about our engagement session, however she made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera and captured so many sweet moments that we will cherish forever. Micaela is the only photographer we even considered for our wedding because she is that good. After seeing the beautiful photos she took at multiple friends and family's weddings, there was no need to look further. Micaela exceeded my expectations in so many ways! We took our engagement pictures during January in the snow, which was so fun and unique. We were able to incorporate aspects of both of our lives (ballet and hockey) and of course our silly golden retriever! She did everything to get the perfect shot, including walking out onto a frozen pond with her camera. The pictures all came out amazing and it was so hard to choose one for our save the date! When the big day finally arrived, Micaela was there to capture every detail and keep us calm and excited. She made sure we got every photo we wanted, as well as the ones we never imagined. From champagne pops, to our emotional first look and ceremony, family photos (including our dog of course), and all the dancing and celebrations during our reception, Micaela captured it all perfectly. My only advice: BOOK HER NOW! We cannot recommend her enough!!!

It was very easy to get along with Micaela from the very first moment! She was very easy to work with and the pictures came out great. She has a great sense of color, our lavender wedding theme is perfectly reflected on the photos. She managed to stay unnoticeable during the course of the event while making sure she does not miss any important moment.

I can’t say enough great things about Micaela (coming from a picky bride whose wedding pictures are everything)! Once we decided we loved her, we had an engagement session with her to see her work in action. To say that we were OBSESSED with our engagement photos is an understatement. Micaela makes you feel comfortable, and gets "in the moment" candid shots that most photographers would miss. Micaela was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process and she checked in several times throughout the year. Can I give Micaela a 10star review please? Enough said :). Haha but seriously, she is the most talented photographer I have ever met!!! Her package included an engagement session and I am so glad it did because I was able to get to know her and get a feel of how she works. My engagement photos are the most beautiful photos and the sneak peek I had of our wedding photos already made me cry of joy! I will never use another photographer! Also she lives near Boston but she still does weddings in NJ and won’t charge travel fee because she has family in NJ. So definitely request her services!! She does book fast because she is that fantastic and talented.

Ok so, my wedding hasn’t happened yet. It is coming in July 2021. BUT we did do our engagement photoshoot with Micaela in the fall of 2020 and we FELL IN LOVE with her and her work! This girl is AMAZINGLY TALENTED. Her pictures are the most beautiful I have ever seen and they are mostly candid shots! I tend to hate myself on candid shots but Micaela made me look great!! She is also the kindest and sweetest person to work with! I get so many compliments on our engagement photoshoot and had many friends asking for Micaela’s info for their own life photoshoots! I cannot wait until my wedding day! I will be using Micaela for all of my future life photoshoots!

Micaela was originally supposed to shoot our June 2020 wedding. When we had to shift our plans for that day due to COVID from originally imagined wedding to intimate marriage ceremony in front of just our parents, Micaela pivoted right along with us. She managed to capture the beauty and pure joy of that still perfect day, even though it wasn’t what she or I had originally agreed to. When we had to cancel our postponed larger ceremony in February, Micaela was so gracious and understanding and made the entire process so much less stressful than it could have been. I will literally use Micaela for every single major life event moving forward, and you’d be crazy not to, too. She becomes an instant friend and takes the most gorgeous pictures to boot. I really can’t recommend her enough!

Micaela was my FIRST choice photographer after working with her and seeing her beautiful photos for a friend’s wedding. Initially, she was unavailable for our wedding date (book her FAST), and I was so sad that we had to go with someone we didn’t know or vet very well. Fast forward to #COVIDtimes: our photographer cancelled and Micaela had our date open because of a reschedule! She loves to travel and was willing to come to Atlanta to be part of our big day. I cannot say enough about her graciousness in working around COVID restrictions, family dynamics, and two venues. All of our wedding party and family members raved about how fun and efficient she was, and she made Chris and me feel so comfortable in front of the camera! Of course, the photos are INCREDIBLE and went above and beyond what I could have asked for to commemorate our day forever. The day of our wedding Micaela took the best photos and was so kind and flexible with all of our guests and different photos. The pictures are fabulous and we love them all. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with than Micaela. We loved the pictures Micaela took for our engagement photos but we really loved the pictures she took of our wedding day. We wanted to work with someone that made us feel comfortable while taking photos and that’s exactly what Micaela did. She has great techniques to make us laugh or be serious in order to capture different moments or looks. She even captured some good photos with our dog who isn’t easy to work with. Her professionalism, creativity, and talent made our experience with Micaela easy and smooth. Her patience and flexibility helped tremendously since we had to make some changes in our plans due to the pandemic. I’m so happy with all the work and effort Micaela put in for us. I could go on and on talking about Micaela. She’s amazing and I highly recommend her!

If you are searching for the perfect wedding photographer, you can stop now. My husband and I could not have asked for a better person to be part of our special day. When we first chatted with Micaela via FaceTime we knew she was going to be a good fit for us, (both of us love a good cheese board and throw pillows) but after we met for our engagement session, we knew she was the perfect fit. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed during our engagement shoot, and was willing to be flexible with various locations. We decided to do photos where we met, and a place she had never been, but she learned the area quickly and made suggestions on places that she thought may be best. As for our wedding, rain was in the forecast - of course, not what you want to hear as a bride. When Micaela arrived to where we were getting ready, she asked for a few items and then went and took photos. I did not even realize the amount of detailed photos she took until we got our photos back. She approached everything with ease and really allowed us to focus on the day. We lucked out and the rain stopped right before our photos, we had to make some adjustments due to mud, but she was flexible and accommodating. She was so patient as we tried to find the family members that got lost, bribe toddlers who were not happy about photos and keeping the group shots organized. Our photos were everything we wanted and more. We truly could not have asked for someone better. We miss working with her, and really hope to work with her again someday.

Micaela helped turn our frowns upside-down!! We had to postpone our wedding so we hired Micaela to take pictures on our original date, she made the whole experience so fun! Love candid photos? Micaela is your gal, she knows all the best tricks to help you look your best! She is extremely responsive and flexible, there’s is zero stress involved! We are so happy with our photos!!

The photography that Micaela did for our wedding was amazing!! When choosing a photographer it was important to us that the photos looked natural and truly captured the emotions of that day. We were so impressed with her portfolio and she was so sweet and communicative with us through the entire planning process. Due to COVID-19, we ended up having to cancel our original wedding plans 2 weeks before our wedding date and have a smaller, intimate ceremony in my house. Micaela made this major switch of plans so easy for us on her end and we were so impressed with how amazing the pictures looked (seriously never thought a photographer could make my living room look so good). She was very organized, comfortable to be around, made us feel so at ease and took beautiful pictures that we will cherish forever. She was also very prompt in getting sneak-peeks and our final album to us. I highly recommend Micaela! She is the best and you won’t be disappointed!!

Micaela was an absolute dream to work with! From the very first phone call she was so sweet, professional, responsive, and just made me feel at-ease about everything. We had so much fun at the engagement shoot (definitely recommend the Roger Williams Botanical Garden for engagement shoots); she gave us games to play and things to talk about so we were more naturally interacting versus just all posing. When I saw the engagement pics I knew without a doubt that we had picked the right photographer for our big day! And the wedding pictures are just as amazing! She took control of the family portraits and we whipped through them. Her and my videographer worked great together to make sure they both got great shots. She captured every moment in the most perfect way possible, and it honestly just felt like having another friend there! I highly recommend her to anyone in the market for a photographer! 🙂
