Windy City Glam ❤️

Windy City Glam was one of the best parts of our special day! They made me feel comfortable, at ease, and were super helpful during the entire process! I was looking for a soft, natural glam look, and they nailed it - just like my Pinterest board! On the big day, they were so efficient, meticulous, and SO flexible (even added on a few extra services because our bridesmaids wanted more!) Even though I contacted Windy City Glam very last minute for my bridal hair & makeup, they were very responsive and communicative about every little detail! I highly recommend them for any bridal or special occasion hair and makeup services!

Windy City Glam was such a wonderful choice for our wedding day hair! Reyna did an amazing job doing my Bridal hair which included extensions as well as bridesmaids, MOB and MOG. She was so sweet, professional and fun - such a wonderful presence in the bridal suite as we got ready. I also did a hair trial before the big day which was a must - it allowed me to wear my hairstyle all day and then Reyna was able to make little tweaks to ensure that it stayed in place all day and night on a very humid summer day!

Cat (makeup) and Jean (hair) did a spectacular job for day-of hair and makeup. After my trial, they took my feedback and perfectly tweaked the items I wanted to change and were able to give me everything and more that I could have wanted. They are both such joys to work with and be around, and they did such a nice job with each person they styled, despite each individual wanting something different. I highly recommend Cat and Windy City Glam for your next event!

I had Jean for my hair and make up for my wedding day. She truly was amazing and also extremely sweet. They were super open and receptive to my thoughts and feelings after our trial and ended up taking my wedding day here a completely different route, which turned out so much better than I even expected. They were the perfect glam company from my wedding!

The only way I can start this review is by saying Windy City Glam SAVED my wedding. If they're available, BOOK THEM! I'm personally not great with makeup, so when I started wedding planning, I booked an MUA pretty fast and it was the least of my concerns at the time since I assumed any MUA would work out great. I had initially booked a different MUA team; however, after multiple makeup trials that lasted at least three hours each only to look completely unlike myself and far from how I wanted to look on my wedding day, I decided to look for another MUA and found Windy City Glam through a personal referral. It was a bit stressful considering the losses of canceling a vendor and booking a new one, but it was the best decision and investment I made. Cat and her team provided such a fast and smooth process for me, I felt I was in good hands even before my makeup trial. Now, the makeup trial blew my mind. I had such a different experience with Windy City Glam. It was so much fun and didn't take hours. My MUA, Celeste, was so talented and made the process seem so effortless. I absolutely LOVED my makeup after the trial and it only looked better on my wedding day. My makeup really made me feel like a bride and gave me confidence taking photos throughout the wedding day. I think it's also important to note that my makeup stayed morning to night despite literally crying so much all day, even my lashes! Cat and her team are truly there for you. They're amazing MUAs but they also alleviate so much stress. It was such a relief to have Windy City Glam not only for myself but also my bridal party. Having florals, a photographer, pretty venue, that's nice and all, but if you don't feel comfortable with how you look, the wedding day will only feel daunting. I would know since I've experienced it for months before booking Windy City Glam. Long review, but hoped sharing my honest experience would be more helpful than leaving a basic thumbs up review ♡

Windy City Glam did an amazing job on my hair and makeup. Brittany made me feel so comfortable, and I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. I have very fair skin which can be tricky when it comes to makeup, but Brittany really took the time to understand what I wanted, and it ended up being perfect! My hair and makeup were flawless, and I felt amazing all day long. I can't recommend Windy City Glam enough!

My experience was great! The stylist was super sweet and my bridal party were so happy with their looks. My hair struggles to hold a style and my hair held up all day. They were super accommodating with any changes I needed and were super easy to communicate with. Def been recommending to my friends!

Windy City Glam is hands down the best makeup team you could ask for. I first got to experience their work at my sister’s wedding and knew that when I got married I had to have the same team!! They were one of the first vendors I booked and I have never felt so beautiful!! Lily worked magic on me at both the makeup trial and the wedding day. Originally we thought we would do airbrush but during the trial when it was not looking good, Lily was honest and said we should try normal foundation and I am so happy she did that. I recently had the pleasure of having Windy City Glam do my bridal parties makeup for my wedding and I couldn't be happier with the results. Upon booking Windy City Glam, I also had the pleasure of being in contact with Catherine the founder who was always so accessible, kind, and professional. She set me up with a trial with Celeste prior to my wedding and she and Celeste took detailed notes about my vision for my wedding day look. I appreciate that they were both very receptive to feedback which made me feel heard, felt, and seen as a bride. You can tell Catherine/Windy City glam care deeply about their brides and desired wedding day looks. Beyond the trial Catherine and Celeste even gave me recs on lashes to play around with wearing since I was so new to them! I thought I had a lash allergy and Catherine suggested we do a little test on my skin. It was at that point that I learned it was lash glue I was allergic to and not lashes! They made sure to have special non-adhesive glue for me on my wedding day and I was so happy to wear lashes which heightened my look! It is the care and attention such as that, which made Windy City Glam such a joy to work with. Our makeup artist Celeste, did an incredible job on my bridesmaids, mother, and my make up. Celeste perfectly enhanced our natural diverse beauty while ensuring each look was timeless and elegant. She was so kind and patient and I could not have asked for a better artist to work with on a wedding day which can feel a bit nerve wracking. I felt myself and my party were in really good hands the entire time which was such a gift. Celeste really made sure to check in with all of us as she was doing our makeup to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Windy City Glam go above and beyond to share skin care tips to look your best, kindly remind brides and bridesmaids the reality of choosing inspiration pics that looks like us, and made sure the day of the Wedding that we all looked exactly as we wanted. And we truly did! The professionalism and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire process. This truly made my Wedding day even more memorable and I will forever adore and remember how beautiful we felt and looked on this day as I look back on pictures. My sister (Maid of Honor) recommended for me to use Windy City Glam because that is what all her friends used for their weddings & they exceeded expectations by far!! My hair & make-up turned out INCREDIBLE and held up the entire night. Cath & her team are extremely talented artists & knowledgeable professionals - they were also very efficient so we were actually ahead of schedule! Hired Windy City Gam for my wedding for bridal party, bride, and mother of the bride hair & makeup. The makeup artist was phenomenal. She gave everyone a natural glow glam and I swear I have never felt more beautiful. Each persons makeup was unique to their pigment and everyone was stunning. The hair was so/so. I was unfortunately unable to do a trial since this was a destination wedding. I provided some inspiration but we had to do a lot of tweaking and the bun was still a little wonky. MOB hair was pefect hollywood glam curls, and the bridesmaids went with simple half up or low ponys.

The best hair and makeup team!! Cat and Hung made my day so special and stress free!! They were even ahead of schedule and made sure everyone was feeling their best! To say I was OBSESSED with my hair and makeup would be an understatement. I felt and looked amazing, beautiful, and confident on my big day! I worked with Cat for hair and makeup for my elopement. I don't usually wear too much makeup, but I wanted to get glammed up for our elopement photos. I'm East Asian so I was also looking for someone who had a portfolio that included a wide variety of skin & hair types, which she had. Cat was communicative, easy to work with, easy to get along with. I showed her a few photos of what I wanted and she did her magic! She even stayed for our elopement ceremony and took some nice videos for us!

I booked Cat for my wedding September 2023 for hair and makeup for myself and three bridesmaids. She did a phenomenal job all the way from my trial to getting us all ready on the day of. I unintentionally got a few shades tanner the time between my trial and the wedding and Cat was able to adjust effortlessly. She was so easy going and sweet - would highly recommend booking her!

Hands down the best hair and makeup team I could have ever asked for (Sarah, Veronica, Silvia and Jeannette)! Sarah did my hair and Veronica did my makeup on my wedding day. Working with these ladies was an absolute dream. Sarah even brought me one of those little sponge things to make my hair bun fuller (such a nice gesture) after my hair trial. My bridesmaids were obsessed with their hair and makeup - the team arrived on time the day of and stayed ahead of schedule (even with 13 of my bridesmaids and 2 moms!).

Jeannette's makeup work was flawless and Eliza made my (continuously changing) vision for my hair a reality. I was so pleased with how the looks turned out on my wedding day. My bridesmaids also looked fantastic and were really pleased. Catherine was very attentive and flexible when getting everything arranged and contracted. I will be showing photos of my makeup as an example for future artists every time I get my makeup done from now on!! WindyCity also accommodated a last-minute trial for me the week before, which I appreciated. Highly recommend!!!!

Windy City Glam saved my wedding when I had a last-minute scramble to find a hairy stylist! The owner, Catherine, was incredibly nice and friendly on the phone, and was able to connect me with Ajla right away. They are perfect! I love constructive feedback for improvement and I wish I had something to recommend but Windy City Glam exceeded mine and my bridal parties expectations. I've never felt more beautiful, and I think that's something the entire bridal party would echo. From a business perspective they were beyond professional, warm, and a truly excellent listeners. They laid everything out in detail but were not overwhelming with direction which is super appreciated when planning a wedding with a LOT of fine print. I found them to be responsive and patient with some of my naive questions, and I so appreciated all their flexibility with the schedule, look, etc. Both Catherine and Maria were such a dream to work with and I'd recommend them to everyone!
