Devin was an absolute dream to work with! We planned a last minute small-scale ceremony and she was so supportive in helping us define the logistics based on her experience and expertise. I especially loved that she had lots of experience in smaller weddings and elopements, but recognized those required the same love and care as a larger wedding. Devin was professional, organized, and above all kind and enthusiastic. She captured the day exactly as we wanted it, full of love and ease. Would highly recommend her to any couple, regardless of if your wedding is 2 people or 200.

Working with Devin at Mile Square Moments was hands down the BEST decision we made in our entire wedding planning process. The quality of her work speaks for itself— she’s so incredibly talented. Equally as important, the actual experience was an absolute joy. From the very first meeting she made us feel relaxed and at ease. It was obvious she genuinely cared about getting to know us as a couple and wasn’t just there to snap pictures. We walked away from our engagement session feeling so happy and lucky that we were able to work with her; it was like we had found a hidden gem! Devin is a dream to work with! We worked with Devin to capture our city hall wedding day, and it was wonderful. Devin was very communicative throughout the entire process, and handled so many details that didn't even occur to us. It was a rainy day and Devin had brought photography-friendly umbrellas, and had even found a nearby cocktail bar for us to sneak into and take indoor shots so we didn't get soaked. We absolutely loved the work that Devin produced for us. She knows what she's doing, and it's clear that she values your comfort and satisfaction. Would definitely recommend!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Devin. We worked with her for almost 2.5 years, as my husband hired her to photograph our proposal and she was so amazing that we continued to use her for our engagement session and wedding day. From the moment we met her, it was like getting pictures taken by a friend. She put us at ease and made us feel comfortable, but at the same time was incredibly professional. I had heard amazing things about Devin and Alan but they completely exceeded my expectations. From beginning to end Devin guided me through all the preparation and curated my wedding day timeline. I came across Devin’s work one night while doing a deep dive search on my venue, and found a blog post she had done for a previous client. I was instantly obsessed with her photography style and the way she seemed so connected to her clients. I spent time going through her portfolio and other blog posts on her online site which provides a fantastic amount of information until I couldn’t hold back any more and emailed her! Thankfully I didn’t have to wait long to hear back and the response time was impeccable and she was so easy to communicate with in the months we spent preparing for the wedding day! Once in connection with Devin we had our first meeting where I learned how bubbly and easy going she is, she was so thorough with her explanation of the process by the end of our chat we truly didn’t have any further questions for her and were left feeling so excited and relieved knowing that the job of capturing our special day would be in Devin’s capable hands. Devin was so receptive of the ideas we had and even if I couldn’t put into words what we were looking for she encouraged us to send her inspiration and talk through our thoughts and she came up with the most beautiful ideas that were even better than we could’ve imagined. As our wedding day drew closer Devin’s organization skills and helpful prompts that she uses to make sure she’s going to get all the pictures we wanted of our family and friends, also proved to help make our wedding day go smoother than we could’ve imagined. We were able to tell people who needed to be where at what time and with our large families this was important. Not to mention navigating family members who tried to make their own agenda. Before our wedding date we got the opportunity to take engagement photos with Devin. Having the chance to work with her before our wedding day was so nice because we got to see her style and she got to see the way my husband and I interacted in front of the camera. As a couple my husband and I don’t usually take many photos together and we were very nervous about being awkward in front of the camera. That nervous energy immediately went away when we were working with Devin because she brought such good energy to the session that we couldn’t help but giggle and smile and be ourselves. Come the day of the wedding, Devin and her team were there for every moment, going above and beyond in ways that I didn’t even know she was doing until we received our wedding photos from her our jaws dropped open in awe of how incredible they were. As the bride you know there are key shots that you want taken throughout the night, and of course Devin and her team delivered on every request. Then there are the photos you didn’t know you even wanted until you see them, and you feel so grateful that she was there to capture them. From detail shots to photos of the décor, or the candid on the dance floor- all the things as a couple that you have spent so many hours making decisions and wondering “do you think the guests even noticed that we did that” Devin’s photos were proof that the months of planning and the hemming and hawing over the colors and the DIY signs that you made didn’t go unnoticed. I could not be happier with the decision to work with Devin and her team, they are deserving of the highest praises and we continue to recommend them to everyone we know in hopes that we get the chance to see her again at another event!

Devin was a DREAM to work with. From the moment we inquired she was communicative, organized and so friendly. Wedding planning can be a stressful process and Devin made everything about our photos easy as can be. We had experiences with other vendors where we had to email 2-3 times before getting a response. I truthfully could not recommend a better photographer. We came across Devin through social media and her work stood out to us. Right from the start, she was so helpful with any questions I had and any advice I asked for. A couple months after booking Devin for our wedding, we got engagement pictures done. When I tell you we were stunned by how beautifully she captured our shoot, we were speechless. Not to mention she was also our biggest hype woman during the shoot! We had never had professional photos taken so we were both awkward and we’re afraid that would show in the pictures but she made everything so natural and comfortable! Working with Mile Square Moments was a dream. From our very first phone call, MSM was professional, organized & personable. Devin made us feel heard & inspired as we ideated on everything from potential engagement locations to the timeline of our wedding day and how to get o photos that really captured our love. First came the wedding date, then Devin! Mile Square Moments was our first vendor hire for our October 2021 wedding. From the first consultation with Devin, we felt welcomed and heard. We had ideas for photography for our wedding, which centered on wanting to feel the joy and love through our photographs, but we had few ideas about the execution of those ideas. Devin did a wonderful job listening to us and creating a plan for the feel and theme of our wedding. She worked closely with me to decide a location for our engagement photos, which ended up being an area/location new to her, however, you would not have been able to tell looking at our photographs! She met with me multiple times over the phone as the wedding approached and was integral in creating the timeline for the day. She is present for ample time during the day and provided a second photographer in the package we selected. Devin made her presence known when needed throughout the day and also blended in with the party when needed! I have truly enjoyed working with Devin and my husband and I love our gallery, she provided so many beautifully captured and edited photographs. We are thankful for Devin and are so glad we found her.

I hired mile square moments to shoot my engagement photos, secretly, as it was happening. IT TURNED OUT BETTER THAN I EVEN IMAGINED!! I can't thank Devin enough from start to finish. It was such an amazing experience working with her. She's very thoughtful to all the details. From site location, best time of the day, 2nd rainy day option (because I was proposing outside), to gps tracking on the day of to see if I'm approaching, she arrived to our site 30 minutes before to clear anyone that was in our engagement spot, she followed us to our venue where all of our friends and family were, snapping photos all night. All of them are priceless! Her artistry and attention to details was more than I could have asked for. I would hire Devin for any milestone moments in my life. She's truly one of a kind. (We did not have our wedding yet, but I would hire her again for the wedding!)

My husband and I were married in September 2021 and we were lucky enough to have had the opportunity to work with Devin of Mile Square Moments. From our first consultation phone call with her, to the day we received our final gallery, Devin was nothing but a pleasure to work with. She was extremely professional, helpful, and especially talented. We worked with Love Wed Collective and Devin is part of this amazing all female run team. During our first consultation phone call, Devin asked questions about our personalities get to know us both individually and as a couple. A little while after that, we set our first meeting with Devin to discuss the timeline of the day. We were completely lost as to what to expect and Devin was extremely helpful planning a play-by-play schedule for the day and accommodating the various places to take couples portraits, family portraits, as well as candid shots during the ceremony and reception. She made several suggestions as to where to take photos based on the aesthetic we were looking for and the location of Hoboken. When looking through her work samples, we loved that Devin focused on candid photos throughout the various weddings she worked on and this is exactly what we were looking for. The day could not have gone smoother (even though I was 30 minutes late and the first look). During couples photos, my husband and I felt extremely comfortable and natural, this is a true testimony to how Devin gave us direction and made us feel! The following morning we woke up and had already been sent a preview of our gallery which was absolutely awesome. When we received our full gallery we were blown away by the number of photos, the quality of the images, and seeing all of the pictures of our friends and family on our special evening. We cannot wait to order an album so that we can commemorate, relive, and look at all of the photos from our wedding day. If you have the opportunity to work with Devin I would highly recommend it. She is a truly amazing photographer and person!

Other than our venue, Devin/Mile Square Moments was the first vendor we booked. We instantly fell in love with her photography style and how well she captured authentic love between her couples. It's exactly what we were looking for. After an intro call we knew we had to book her for our wedding. Her vibe was just right. We felt she understood our vision, was excited by our ideas, and genuinely felt like a friend right out the gate. She also commits to your event and was happy to stick around a little longer to capture our last dance or sunset shots without additional charge. We got our engagement photos ahead of schedule, despite her being wildly busy at the end of the year. And we had over 50 wedding photos within DAYS of our wedding. We haven't even gotten our full gallery yet and if it never comes I'd be happy. I screamed and cried when I saw the preview pics. Over the last year Devin has felt like a friend, not a vendor. When my aunt passed away she sent us a little care package, knowing that my aunt was meant to be our flower girl at my wedding. She's the nicest and most helpful person and I couldn't imagine our wedding without her. I'd give her 1000000 stars if I could. She made our day so perfect.

The tl;dr for those are in a time crunch - hire Devin to make your engagement and wedding photography everything you’ve ever dreamed of and everything you didn’t even know you needed!! Devin is incredibly hands-on and takes the time to get to know her couples which I think is very apparent by looking through her portfolio. It was so apparent to me that she did this just by looking at her work and without even speaking with her. I booked my consultation call with her before officially booking her for our wedding but I knew I was going to book her before we spoke just from seeing her work…after speaking with Devin, I knew she was the perfect person to shoot our day! When Covid happened, Devin was so incredibly flexible with us as the world was so uncertain in the early days. We postponed our wedding a few months before and replanned it for Sept 2021 and while that was not as chaotic to replan, finding a time to shoot our engagement photos was a trip, but Devin was so understanding and flexible as we had to reschedule our engagement shoot more than 4 times and wound up doing it a month before our wedding. Devin was able to quickly edit our engagement photos so we had them before our wedding and she absolutely crushed them! The engagement photos and wedding photos are truly works of art that I cannot wait to get professionally printed and hung up! In my opinion, Devin’s photos deserve to get attention constantly and not just something in an album! The day of the wedding, Devin and her team made taking photos SO MUCH FUN. Having been a bridesmaid so many times, I know how long and painful this can be but to quote my bridal party after we finished photos “that was it, were done??” because that's how seamless and easy Devin makes it!! The team effortlessly fit photos into the day vs making the day all about photos. Looking at our photos was like reliving the whole day but also got to see so many other parts of the day captured that as the bride I wasn’t able to be part of. Now for the photos….first of all, after shooting our wedding and pretty sure many other weddings the days leading up to our wedding (Devin is superwoman!) She provided us with 30 preview photos to look through the very next day and from chatting with couples on our honeymoon that we went on immediately after the wedding, so many of them were envious of how many previews we received and how gorgeous they were!! Devin took my vision and must haves and executed them flawlessly. Our photos truly capture the energy and emotions of the day without anything looking too stiff or posey. My husband and I immediately shared our gallery of photos after receiving it and all of our friends and family were blown away with the beauty Devin captured but most importantly the fun and love of the day. We have so many special memories and are beyond lucky to have had such a thoughtful and caring photographer capture the most important moments and day of our life. You can truly tell that Devin cares so much about her couples and really tries to capture the moments that a bride and groom will want to relive for so many years to come. Devin, I cannot thank you enough or rave about you enough. Any bride who is not sure who to use for a photographer absolutely needs to hire Devin immediately - you will not be disappointed!!!

I am not even sure how to start this review because Devin was more than just a photographer, she helped with everything. She is also the coolest person I know and I hope we can stay in touch long after my wedding :). Everything from the calls prior to my wedding to her photo delivery were perfect. My engagement shoot was also included in the package and it was worth every penny. Her style is so romantic and she truly loves to bond with all of her couples. You can tell that she enjoys what she does and her work is impeccable. I was a pretty low key bride, I didn't want to take pictures for 2 hours and miss my cocktail hour and Devin was very cognizant of this. She still managed to get plenty of pictures (more than I imagined) due to her organization and the timeline she makes for her brides. Devin also traveled 4.5 hours to my venue in Upstate New York and took the time to scope out the perfect places to take pictures so I wouldn't have to worry about where I was headed on my wedding day. It was already planned out!! Devin was by far one of my favorite wedding vendors and you will not regret booking her. The pictures were amazing and all of my family couldn't believe how well they turned out. The worst part about choosing her is you will not be able to narrow it down to one picture to hang on your wall after you receive them because every single one is THAT GOOD. I will definitely be using her again in some form now that my wedding is over!!!!

Looking for the perfect photographer for our wedding was so important to my husband and I. When Devin was recommended to us by our videographer, Murphy’s Studio, we knew right away that we had the ultimate dream team to capture our wedding day. Devin offers more to your shoot than a typical photographer. She really got to know my husband and I and made us feel so comfortable and natural. We have received SO MANY compliments for our photos from friends and family. The quality is stunning and the angles, lighting, etc capture the day perfectly. We truly feel like we are relieving the day over when we look through our wedding album. Devin is an amazing photographer -we highly recommend using Mile Square Moments for your wedding.

Devin just delivered our engagement photos (complimentary in the wedding package) and absolutely surpassed our wildest expectations. Her overall style and attention to detail is immaculate- capturing the most loving, candid moments between couples and nothing felt forced/awkward. She truly makes her couples feel comfortable from the first meeting. Her professionalism is admirable and exactly what you'd want in a photographer. It's also worth noting her punctuality! She was not only punctual for our 6:30am sunrise shoot, but showed up earlier to check out the spot and shoot test photos. We ended up using Devin for our two weddings (postponed the bigger one because of COVID), and am so happy we did. We love her style, and she was so efficient at getting the group photos done, which everyone appreciated when we were outside in November and December. I also loved working with someone local to Hoboken - she knew the best spots to take our engagement photos and had photographed at the venue (Kolo Klub) and hotel (Sheraton Lincoln Harbor) and had backup plans in case of rain (which we ended up needing). Also, when we ended up having to change plans because of COVID, she was really flexible and worked with us with regards to the location, timing and budget of what ended up being our family wedding. Between two weddings, an engagement session and working with Devin to create the photo album following, we've gotten to know her fairly well and I would definitely recommend her - she knows what she's doing, takes beautiful photos, knows how to wrangle large groups and stays calm when it starts hailing an hour before you're supposed to take photos outside :)

Devin is the BEST! Booking through her website was super easy and convenient. She was very quick to respond and we really appreciated the the phone call we had to discuss our vision for our engagement shoot. You can tell she really cares about her clients and listens to them. We hired Devin of Mile Square Moments to provide photo coverage of our elopement in NYC, and we highly recommend working with her! The most important thing to know about Devin is how comfortable she made us feel throughout our elopement ceremony and portrait session - which, we must note, marked the very first time we ever met her in person! Devin did an excellent job of getting to know us beforehand through Google Meetings and questionnaires, so she felt like a trusted collaborator by the time we showed up for the ceremony. As far as actually taking our photos, I should note that my husband and I were photoshoot novices since we didn't do an engagement shoot, but Devin helped us overcome all of these nerves by getting us to pose naturally and look at ease in front of the camera. We can't stop admiring our completed gallery! Special thanks to Devin for accommodating my quirky request to take pictures at Grant's Tomb, and for scouting the right angle beforehand to avoid catching any pandemic-related signage in our shots. We chose to work with Devin because she promised a documentary, storytelling style, and she delivered on that promise. Having an intimate elopement with only ourselves and our witness in attendance, it was crucial that the photos told the story of our day without relying on cheesy or formulaic poses. The photos needed to capture our personalities and the spirit of our ceremony, so that we could share them with family and friends who did not attend in person. Devin achieved this in a timely, professional manner and we are grateful to have worked with her on our elopement!

Devin is the best! She made our engagement everything we dreamed of and more. I could tell from the first call she'd be a blast to work with and would capture the best photos possible. The walkthrough was increeeeedibly helpful, and Devin created the plan for the perfect proposal with every detail. I honestly don't even know where to start with Devin. I hired Devin as a photographer and she quickly because my go to for recommendations and in the end a true friend. Beyond her talent to capture your day - which I will get to. She is the type of person you want around you on your day. She is calm and steady and has your vision in mind every step of the way. Now let's talk pictures- we got married September 18th and took of for Italy the 19th by the time we landed I had our previews. IN THE MIDDLE OF BUSY WEDDING SEASON. I cried happy tears in the middle of a Rome airport. She captured my husband's love for me and my children. She captured all the small moments and as I looked at the photos I relived the feelings of the day. Every one I have showed says you can feel our happiness and that is purely because of Devin and her gift to bring a moment to life through her camera. Devin was an all star to the point where every single guest commented about her as did my vendors. I have insisted she goes on every preferred vendor list and I am insisting you book her after reading this. She is a gift from start to finish and your pictures will be a dream come true.

This was my fiancé and I’s first professional shoot together and Devin made us feel so comfortable! From booking, planning(a personal phone call) and shooting, Devin was professional, energetic, and a delight to work with! We love our pictures and can’t stop staring at them. Devin was so professional, friendly and helpful from the very start. She patiently waited months for us to reformulate our wedding plans due to postponing and graciously made herself available for any any and all trouble shooting and help. Once we got closer to our day, her organization and attention to every detail really reassured us that we were in the best position possible surrounding any pre-wedding stress and jitters. I wish I could give Devin more than 5 stars! From the first time I spoke with her, I knew we were in great hands. Before I found Devin, I didn't have a very clear plan for our micro-wedding! By discussing the plans for the day with her, I was able to start envisioning it all so clearly and it's all because of Devin's care and attention to detail. At our wedding, she expertly and lovingly wrangled our loved ones for portraits and my husband and me for our couple photos. After that, she was like a ninja taking candid photos and capturing all the special moments. Devin even stayed later than originally planned in order to capture our cake cutting and was so generous and flexible with our time. My husband and I along with our families and friends were all truly blown away when we got our preview photos and full gallery soon after. We are SO in love with our photos! I am biased, of course, but they might just be the most beautiful wedding photos I've ever seen! I can't thank Devin enough for everything she did for us and for the beyond beautiful work she did. Devin was incredible! She was incredibly professional, attentive and really captured the vision I had when I proposed. She was very organized with the day planned out with times to a tee. She answered all my questions before I got to chance to ask them and was a pleasure to work with. My fiancé and I were extremely happy with the pictures. We had a preliminary call before meeting and she explained everything in detail. Her and I did a “dry run” a week before I popped the question and went over the best locations, positioning for the best shot and time frames. I highly recommend.

From beginning to end our journey with Devin has been PERFECT. We originally had our wedding scheduled for Sept 2020 but due to the pandemic we had to reschedule our celebration for June. Devin actually offered to come photograph our elopement with just us 2 and be one of our witnesses. She's so sweet and understanding and knows exactly what you have in mind for your photography vision. My elopement photos were so beautiful, not forced, natural and exactly what I wanted I couldn't wait for our June wedding photos. She's so organized, helps you and your partner pose so your photos aren't awkward and really is on top of everything. I have absolutely zero complaints and if I had to do it all over again she would be my photographer 200%.

I consider myself so lucky to have known Devin for years prior to her start of Mile Square Moments. She is such a genuine, creative person and it was such an amazing opportunity to experience that during my engagement photoshoot. I can be self-conscious when having my photo taken and Devin was able to make me feel confident and totally at ease during the entire shoot. She took the time to understand my goals for the photos and her willingness to travel to my city and create such a memorable experience is one I will never forget. Where do I even begin…There aren't enough words to describe how amazing Devin is! I found Devin while searching for local vendors on Instagram and knew immediately that she would be a perfect fit. From our first meeting she totally got us and our vision and from then on I knew that we were in amazing hands. We had complete trust in Devin on our wedding day and to say the least she did not disappoint. She completely went above and beyond (hello climbing on snow piles to get the perfect angle)and I am still blown away at how amazing our photos are. Devin is amazing!! Not only did she photograph when my fiancé proposed to me, she helped him figure out all the plans.
