If you are on the hunt for a wedding photographer, look no further than Lauren Leyba!! Her kind soul and eye for detail was immediately apparent when we met her on our big day. It takes a special kind of professional to meld into the madness as well as she did and my husband and I were so grateful for her creative direction. She prioritized documenting the small moments between my husband and I and the photos that came from those moments are some of our absolute favorites. We HIGHLY recommend including the film add-on to your wedding package. Lauren captures such palpable, moody, and joyous moments in film that cannot be felt the same way on digital. Our wedding gallery absolutely blew our expectations out of the water and only further solidifies that Lauren is a master of her craft. We truly can't imagine our wedding day without her so do yourself a favor and hire Lauren. :)

The first time I saw Lauren’s website/Instagram and saw she shot in film, I knew I had to have her shoot our day. Not only is she super cool, she is incredibly talented. She made us feel so comfortable and beautiful day of. Having your photo taken can feel awkward but with Lauren’s direction we had a blast. Every image she delivered is beautiful! I keep showing them to everyone. Even those who do not ask. I cannot recommend her enough! Her sharing my love for one direction was just the cherry on top.

Lauren was the absolute best photographer we could’ve asked for! She was professional, great with time management, creative with our options for backdrops and locations at the venue, helpful in directing us when taking photos, fun to be around, she turned photos really quickly, was super helpful with planning, and a really awesome person to spend a chaotic evening with! We loved working with Lauren. We strongly recommend working with her. She was our only photographer for a 100 guest wedding and she captured everything we wanted. We hired Lauren for our September 2022 wedding, and it was honestly one of the best decisions we could have made. Lauren spends time getting to know her couples before their big day, and that truly goes such a long way into making the process comfortable and the product that much more special and intimate. Not only did she deliver a stunning set of photos, her presence on the day of (helping organize family shoots and making sure everyone had their boutonnieres!!!) was invaluable. Lauren is pure talent and I would re-book her in a heartbeat.

Lauren was amazing! We searched for a long time to find someone who offered film photography and in the style we liked. She was great at communicating with us throughout the entire process, starting with our initial call. Since we had already had engagement photos taken out of state, we were able to use our included “engagement session” to take pictures after the wedding in our outfits up in the mountains. Those are now our favorite wedding photos! We got exactly what we were hoping for. We’re obsessed with our photos and are now hoping to hire her for our maternity shoot!

Can't recommend enough! Honestly if I could give her 100 more stars in the rating I would. When I first started my search for a wedding photographer, I was looking for someone who had a unique style, eye for composition and a solid understanding for color. When I found Lauren and saw her portfolio and IG page I knew she was the one. She came all the way out to Telluride to capture so many special moments, she made me feel comfortable when I was feeling really nervous, she endured all the crazy climates we had that day with us. She witnessed and captured the most beautiful moments of our wedding. She was really great directing us and made us feel super comfortable and beautiful. Aside from how talented she is, Lauren is also a gem, she is so sweet and friendly which makes for an even better experience, and better photos! I was seriously shocked when we received our Sneak Peak photos, they are the most beautiful photos I've seen or been part of. We've gotten so many compliments from family and friends they are truly more than we could've ask for. They are perfect! One of the best decisions we made in this wedding process was to choose Lauren for our wedding! She is an absolutely brilliant photographer and from the very beginning, we felt very cared for and supported by her. On the wedding day, she was such a calming and professional presence, and she captured every single important second of that day. Her photography style is so personal and beautiful; our jaws literally dropped when we got our preview photos back. I'm always a little nervous about looking awkward in photos, but she really put us at ease and captured the joy and love we felt. She delivered our full gallery to us less than two months after the wedding, which is incredible given how busy vendors are this year! The photos brought us to tears; it was so wonderful seeing the magic of our day captured so beautifully. Our package came with a free engagement session, but we were an out-of-town couple and wouldn't have been able to come to Colorado for an extra shoot, so she let us do a "day-after" shoot instead where we got to get all dressed up again and go deeper into the mountains for some gorgeous Colorado mountain wedding photos, including some on film (which I HIGHLY recommend you add to your package - the photos came out so soft and magical). That was a huge highlight of our wedding weekend, getting to have some quiet time together to enjoy nature and document our weekend without any pressure of the wedding day timeline. I simply can't say enough good things about Lauren; I know we will treasure these photos our entire lives!

If I made two good decisions during this process one is Lauren, second is my husband. Not only were the pictures AMAZING so is she. Kind, professional, responsive, and just so talented. I thought It might feel awkward to take our engagement photos but it was quite the opposite. She played music, gave us direction, and just let us play around. Of course this just built to the wedding day. All the photos are so beautiful and unique. Also highly suggest you book film with your photos because those were some of my favorites.

Lauren was one of the first vendors we hired in our wedding planning process. She was easy to communicate, super flexible, professional and kind! She captured beautiful photos in what can be such a chaotic environment. We received a large portion of our photos just a few days after our wedding (queue the tears!!) and the other photos we received about a month after the wedding. These photos are absolutely perfect and so very special to us! Thank you!

Lauren took both our engagement photos and our wedding reception photos. She is incredibly talented, we absolutely loved the photos she produced for us and got so many compliments from friends and family. She is so easy to work with, communicative, and professional. It was an absolute pleasure working with Lauren for our engagement shots and wedding photos. My (now) husband and I are not particularly comfortable in front of the camera, but she made us feel relaxed during the engagement shots and incredible during our wedding! She was also so patient and gave great guidance during our family and group shots. Now that we have the photos back, it's clear that she is truly a quality photographer. Lauren did an absolutely INCREDIBLE job! My husband and I can’t recommend her enough. She showed up on time and with the calmest vibe. Lauren is down to earth and is not just there to snap photos, she will jump in to help day of for anything you need. Lauren has a true artist’s eye for photography. She provided a sneak peek of ~50 images less than one week after the wedding to hold us over until she’s able to get our full album ready for us. Just in that preview, there are so many stunning images that she captured of not just the ceremony or standard bridal party shots but artistic captures of the small details as well as some incredible candid shots during the reception and dancing. We plan to use Lauren in the future for family photos! We found our photographer and we couldn’t be happier!!

I can't recommend Lauren enough as a photographer. Lauren shot our wedding weekend including a hike-to-it, sunrise mountaintop ceremony, multiple outdoor receptions, rehearsal dinner with family photos, and engagement photos. She was incredibly professional and easy to work with leading-up to the wedding (responsive, flexible, knowledgeable of sites), she scoped out our ceremony site in advance to make sure she had the right set-up for the day itself, and made us feel comfortable and natural as she took our photos on the big day. We ended up with a TON of photos capturing lots of small moments that we'll cherish forever. If you're looking for a wedding photographer (or just someone who can help you update your family photo book), look no more and just hire Lauren.
