She gave us the warmest engagement session and did everything possible for a smooth wedding despite all of the changes. We also had a smooth engagement photo session and it was so fun! From our very first emails and video call, Olivia was kind, thoughtful and I could immediately tell she would get along with our families and guests. The prep questionnaire and scheduling tools were professional and thorough without requiring too much from us as a couple during the planning process. Olivia's style is super versatile and having seen her work span from vintage, farm-style events to city weddings (like ours) I'm confident she would knock any event out of the park. Olivia is a talented and passionate photographer, an absolute joy to work with, and overall kind person. She recently photographed our September 2022 wedding, and we would whole heartedly recommend Olivia Nadel Photography. Before the wedding we had a few calls to discuss our backgrounds, wedding details, desired aesthetics, particular shots, etc. During this Olivia was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I got a real sense of her passion for photography and her experience of wedding photography. She also took the time to understand us as a couple and what exactly we were looking for. She gave us insightful recommendations and guidance as well and offered a roll of 35mm film which we thought was very unique. Olivia also came to meet us in-person a few months prior at the venue to discuss location shots and final details. She really went above and beyond to make sure we were all fully prepared for the big day. On the day of, she was extremely calm, focused, organized, and punctual. She knew exactly where she wanted to take photos for family, portraits, first looks, etc. She was able to wrangle in my 3- and 4-years old nieces for some photos as well! Olivia made me, and my husband feel very comfortable throughout the day, plus we stay on schedule! She kindly directed us in some poses and other times let us act natural, so we’d have a combination of posed and candid shots. We now have wonderful memories to look back on all thanks to Olivia. She is an expert at artfully capturing precious moments that will be cherish for a lifetime!

We absolutely loved Olivia and her work and would recommend her to anyone! From start to finish she was so easy and friendly to communicate and coordinate with. Olivia has a calm, relaxed-but-in-control approach that was so reassuring to have throughout our wedding weekend. She photographed our welcome party and wedding day and we are so pleased with her work during both events and with the finished photo products. My husband and I didn't know what types of shots we wanted, but she scoped out our location beforehand and came up with ideas for the perfect backdrops. She also created a day-of schedule that guided us and ensured we got the photos we wanted. We love the mix of candid and posed pictures and the way she edited and pulled everything together. Olivia was amazing to work with. My husband and I first met her for our Fall engagement shoot when we were both very uncomfortable in front of a camera. But with Olivia’s easy going and fun personality and creative photography ideas were hugging and kissing and acting like lovebirds in front of the camera in no time! From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, Olivia was always quickly responsive to anything we needed. She was super open to all of my ideas on what I wanted to get on camera on our wedding day. We held our wedding on my parent's property and I had planned everything myself. That means that I did not have a wedding planner or anybody the day of to make sure things ran according to plan. I was very fortunate that Olivia stepped in on that regard! We had met before the wedding to go through the day’s timeline, and not only did Olivia complete all of her photography duties, but she helped the day run smoothly and kept me on track the entire day! She was honestly a lifesaver. I was so happy with the final product from Olivia. Only a few days after the wedding we received beautiful sample photos from her that held us over until the entire gallery was finished. Now that I have the complete photo gallery, I have littered my entire house with wedding photos! I cannot get enough. She made our wedding day look like a fairytale. If anyone has had any doubts on using Olivia as your photographer, this is a sign to book her immediately! You will not be disappointed.

Olivia Nadel Photography went above and beyond for our wedding reception/party in November 2021!! Olivia and Mike were such a breeze to work with throughout the day. They made everything flow through the day and worked so well with our other vendors - from wedding planners, venue coordinators, DJ, etc! We had 200 guests there and they truly made it seem effortless to be at all angles of Revolution Hall capturing everything!!! We got so many great shots from getting ready in The Nest bridal suite, family photos outside, cocktail hour and of course on the dance floor! Olivia worked with us for our “wedding part 1” in June 2020 too! Throughout the pandemic, working with Olivia took a huge weight off my shoulders knowing she was by my side during planning. We highly recommend Olivia Nadel Photography!!!!!

There are not enough positive adjectives to possibly describe the work that Olivia Nadel did for us at both an engagement photo shoot and at our wedding. Olivia is immensely talented, creative, masterful, and has a truly unique in both her vision and execution thereof. Olivia was able to put both my husband and I at ease while partaking in one of our least favorite activities, picture taking! She was equally adept at getting candid shots and staged photos and put a fun spin on the whole situation which resulted in an array of different photos ranging from fun and funny to perfectly poised, all of which had her masterful spin on them. Olivia came up with several cool concepts and locations for our engagement shots that were really special and perfectly suited to how we described ourselves and she did not bat an eye when we said we wanted to wear matching flannel for the shoot! We could not have been happier with the results from our wedding day, but were even more thrilled with her work ethic and expertise day of. She as able to handle everything that was thrown at her from children who rarely listen to a demanding bride to multiple locations for shots. We ended up with a large variety of pictures to choose from and distribute amongst our family and friends. Olivia worked diligently and did not crack under pressure, I don’t even think we saw her break a sweat! She turned the edited pictures around in record time and genuinely seemed to care about what she was doing, what we wanted, and how the pictures would ultimately turn out. Olivia clearly is equal parts passionate about her work and talented with her results and she clearly put her heart and soul in to working with us and capturing our special day. We will be able to look back with complete clarity for years to come as Olivia ensured every moment was accounted for from multiple angles and with love and care.

Working with Olivia has been such a pleasure! We worked together at our Wedding Part 1/Elopement in June 2020 and will be working with Olivia again at our Wedding Part 2 reception in November 2021. During our wedding part 1, Olivia travelled to the Lake George NY area for our ceremony. She was extremely professional, helpful, and the reason we remembered to sign our marriage license! 😊Olivia didn’t bat an eye when I asked her to take photos afterward in the Lake Placid area and hike to get the photos. We went through options for different hikes and her input was so helpful. It made for such special memories on our wedding day and a great day working with Olivia! We cannot wait to work with her again for our reception! 🎉Throughout planning during a pandemic, she has been extremely accommodating and ready with answers. I cannot recommend Olivia enough!

I cannot say enough good things about Olivia! I was referred to her while searching for wedding photographers for our big day, and when we first spoke on the phone about what I was looking for I could tell that not only was she professional, but she truly listened to what I had to say and cared about helping us capture our wedding day in a way that we would treasure for years to come. Olivia photographed our engagement shoot as well, and we loved how she captured all the ‘little moments’ in between posed photos. It is so much fun to look back and see genuine emotions, laughs, and those candid moments you don’t always get from ‘typical’ staged photos. Of course, 2020 turned a lot of our original wedding plans upside down, but Olivia worked with us to accommodate all of our changes in plans with no hesitation (this even included a change in the State we were getting married in!). Our wedding photos came out beautifully and everyone we share them with comments on how amazing they are and how talented our photographer was. Olivia is personable, makes you feel comfortable, puts Client satisfaction first, and delivers beautiful work. I am so happy she was by our side for the long journey of planning a 2020 wedding 😊.
