Where to begin - Ruka is an incredibly talented and amazing photographer, but also a newfound friend. Ruka went out of her way (more than "above and beyond") to make my husband and I feel comfortable and involved in the photography process leading up to our wedding. I really vetted every vendor we worked with, and I couldn't be happier about our decision to have Ruka as our wedding photographer. We wanted to find someone who actually cared about us and had a connection with us, because I knew that would allow us to be more open in front of the camera. Ruka was all that and a bag of chips - She got to knew us over several coffees and dinners, plus our engagement session, all leading up to the big day. I'm convinced that the fact that we had a real relationship with her going into the wedding allowed us to be real and genuine in front of the camera, allowing for incredible pictures. Ruka knew our dynamic as a couple and understood our vision, and boy did she deliver! From the engagement session to the sneak peak, our photos are absolutely incredible. I am so thrilled to know that we can look back on these for years to come. If there is one vendor I would recommend from our entire wedding, it's definitely Ruka.
