This expert is an ex-army veteran with a love of food and the restaurant industry. His goal is to craft tantalizing food for couples and their guests to enjoy during their special celebration. When Manny retired, he spent some time gaining knowledge about food and restaurants. In 2005, he went out on his own and opened Manny's Uptown Tex-Mex Restaurant. Since his father was also a chef, Manny took great inspiration from him as well as a variety of family recipes. Manny's Uptown Tex-Mex Restaurant strives to provide a straightforward planning experience. Couples can look forward to personalizing their menu package with a wide selection of dishes and beverages to choose from. Some vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free alternatives are also available. Buffet, family-style, and served meals are just some of the serving options that Manny and his team can do. A delivery, setup, and cleanup service can be arranged upon request.

I am writing about a wedding I just attended where this vendor catered. I must say I was shocked when I went through the line and was only offered 1 taco. Fortunately, our table did receive at least 1 taco as some other tables did not get a taco because they ran out of food. After speaking to the family of the wedding they explained they gave a guest number of 200. I know this was very upsetting to the family and very embarrassing for them. It’s a shame the caterer isn’t making it right with them.

DO NOT HIRE MANNYS CATERING! I hired them to cater my wedding, and just to start, they showed up late. I told them that I would have 200 guests at the wedding and we ended up with 180. Multiple tables did not get food and ended up only eating chips and salsa because they ran out of food while everyone else also only got 1 taco. They were not at all prepared to serve the amount of guests we agreed on. Not only did they not bring enough food Robert Sharp, the director of catering has not been honest with us throughout the process. The day of the wedding he told us that we owed him an extra $200+ because the venue required another server. I have confirmed with my venue that this was not true and our venue never required anything extra from us or them. Since I have confronted Robert about this he has not answered any of my calls or texts. It is one thing to make a mistake and own up to it, but to be dishonest, take money from customers and then not reply to us at all is beyond disappointing.

Do not hire Manny’s unless you want them to ruin your event. We hired Manny’s to cater my daughter’s wedding this past weekend. We told them there would be 200 guest. They were late arriving, the gave each guest 1 taco per plate and told guest they could not have another because there wasn’t enough. And even though we only had a total of 180 attend, the ran out of food. The last 2 tables did not get a dinner plate. Just chips and salsa. They offer no apology and would not give a refund. Shameful!!!

Manny's catered a large wedding recently and did a superb job. Service was spot on for the plated dinner and the specialized menu was fresh and delicious!! Enjoyed by all attendees.

Manny's not only offered amazing food and drinks for my event, but they made me feel like I got the most for my budget. Worked with me and my partner to make sure we had an idea of all options including offerings outside of Tex-Mex staples. Book them for your next event!

Wonderful service and they were able to meet my specific menu needs! Even better is that everyone raved about the food. The margarita machine was a BIG HIT! I would definitely hire them again.
