Weddings by Gabrielle

Gabby is so sweet and easy to work with! She made sure we were able to just enjoy our daughters wedding and took care of the rest! She was the first one to arrive and the last to leave! She is great!

This is a very long overdue review. But then again, it took me three months to send thank you cards. When I first reached out to Gabby I was drowning in life - working full time, finishing grad school, having a side gig and planning a destination-ish wedding. I had a good chunk of the planning done, but I needed help to tie everything together. My wedding was in Salt Lake, but I live in Missouri, so vendor logistics were tricky. In particular, my venue vendor was incredibly difficult to work with and get a hold of. At the time we contracted with the venue, our contact point person had just had a baby and was quite disconnected and absent, but we understood, given babies are major events that can throw everything off track, and thought things would gain traction the closer we got to the day. Unfortunately, months passed, and literally up to the day of the wedding, there were so many unknowns and missed promises. Gabby deserves a 5 star review solely based on her ability to work with this vendor and make the reception happen. In the end, things still were super disorganized, but if it were only me planning the wedding, it would have been a major disaster. Gabby saved the wedding and my sanity. I mean, I did lose it, but I would’ve probably called off the wedding. If I am being honest, my procrastination for writing this review probably stems from the fact that I would have to relive the chaos of the days before the wedding. Regardless, Gabby deserves a good review, and I knew I had to get it together and thank her publicly. So, THANK YOU, GABBY! When I hired her, she was upfront with me about her just having begun wedding planning. There are a few things that I think she could improve on, but I also don’t think she was expecting the chaos of my wedding venue lol. None of us were. Family members who had recent weddings were all in shock to hear our stories and many told us it shouldn't be that difficult. Therefore, if she was able to handle this in her beginning days, she can only get better. I see a lot of promise in her. My husband would always be so thankful for her after we had our meetings with her as even he was feeling the stress and disorganization from the venue - and he is usually super chill, a little too chill, but even he felt it. We’re both so so grateful for Gabby and wish her the best in all her future wedding-planning adventures! I am sure she learned a lot from this one lol.

Gabrielle was such an immense help, not only on our wedding day, but in the weeks leading up to the big event as well! As a day-of coordinator, she went above and beyond to answer our questions, gather vendors' contact information, and coordinate the day. She was such a big help with all the set-up and takedown, and she helped keep everything running smoothly, from start to finish. We really appreciated her organization, her thoughtfulness, and her ability to stay calm and confident under pressure. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to other couples!

The first to arrive and the last to leave. Weddings by Gabrielle was the entire backbone of our day. The thoughtfulness of Gabrielle was astounding! She caught a couple of things before I even thought of them and I believe it was because of her that our day went so smoothly. She is extremely detail oriented. A true ghost in the night, setting up tables, making sure everything was perfect. I know that if she wasn’t there to support me as a bride, those little details would have snagged my day. Personally, in high pressure situations, I crumble and on what could have been the most stressful day of my life? It was the most stress and carefree day, because of her. I spent the entire day savoring the moments and love with my family, instead of crying because I forgot to pack a lighter for my candles. What you get with Gabrielle is true peace of mind, and to me??? Worth it, 100,000%.

Gabrielle is amazing!! I only wish we had hired her sooner. She did day-of coordination for our wedding and went above and beyond in terms of communication, decoration, and helping out our other vendors. She was calm and confident, which we needed in a stressful situation. Additionally, she met with us as soon as we hired her and was very thorough when asking questions and getting contact information. Her connections in the industry were another plus. I recommend her to anyone, no matter what stage of planning they’re in!
