I have fallen in love with weddings! What's not to love when there's so much positivity in the air. My journey started when a friend asked me to officiate their wedding and, bam, I was hooked.
I have been in education for 25+ years, most recently as a principal, and have always loved helping students and families with the major transitions of their lives.
To me, helping you make your wedding the perfect day to begin your lives together is such an honor and privilege. I love it!

We are so grateful for our Guy, who made our day truly unforgettable. From the very beginning, he was incredibly responsive to all our questions and guided us through every step of the process. He even told our love story during the ceremony in such a heartfelt and humorous way, making it personal and fun. We especially appreciated how he gave us the space to write our own vows, allowing us to express our love in the most meaningful way. Guy consistently went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at ease on our special day. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant!

Guy made our wedding ceremony so special and personal, for us and our guests! We met with Guy ahead of the wedding weekend to craft ideas for the ceremony script and worked together with us to make it just perfect. He attended a rehearsal at our home to get everyone familiar with the plan, and he executed the ceremony on the big day flawlessly with kindness, warmth, smiles and by sharing our "love story" that made the ceremony feel intimate and personal. Not only was he incredible throughout the ceremony prep process, but he was efficient and clear during our wedding rehearsal as well. Guy was, hands down, one of the best parts of our wedding. We felt immediately calm talking to him prior to the wedding - he wanted to understand who we were as people, understand our love story through us, our family and friends, and our vision. I recently attended a weeding officiated by Guy and was completely impressed! He arrived early, checked in with the family and venue personnel, then walked the ceremony venue to ensure everything was set up as needed for the ceremony.
The ceremony was wonderful, highlighting the personalities of the bride and groom throughout. He included their love story, which included how the couple met, fell in love, and became engaged. There were unique elements within the ceremony that were selected by the couple that included scripture and prayer weaved throughout.
Overall, Guy provide a unique and memorable ceremony that the couple and their guests are sure to remember for many years to come.

I never imagined an officiant could add so much to a wedding ceremony! From start to finish, Guy Swenson demonstrated an incredibly thoughtful, sincere and humorous approach working with my daughter and son-in-law.
Swenson's delivery of what he calls 'The Love Story' portion of the ceremony brought laughter and tears. He clearly spent the time to get to know my daughter and son-in-law before writing their story. It was absolutely a wonderful and most memorable aspect of the wedding.
As the mother-of-the-bride, Guy Swenson brought a level of ease and comfort to the day I did not think possible! His warm and personable professionalism was more than we could have hoped.
It's hard to think of anyone else who could have contributed more perfectly as the officiant. Absolutely stellar experience!

I just attended a wedding and was very impressed with Guy. He was an excellent officiant. He was serious when it was called for and also witty and funny when appropriate. If you need an officiant, he is your guy.

Guy was SO wonderful! From the start, he was very communicative and helpful. We had no idea what we were doing but Guy had all the answers. He wrote a beautiful script for the ceremony and helped us incorporate our own stories into it as well. He ran our rehearsal and it went so smooth, then the day of was a breeze! I highly recommend Guy!!
